Theyre great! have recommended this place to a few friends.i would just note that, after factoring in the credit card fee and sales tax, if you buy bulk packages you actually dont save anything. Per visit youre paying a little over $42, as opposed to the almost $48/day cost of a drop in (which factors in the credit card fee and sales tax).I think the employees are great and take wonderful care of the dogs, I just thought the pricing should be a little more visible.

I heartily recommend Lickers n Sniffers! My dog loves going there for boarding or day care and I trust them fully to take good care of him! The staff is attentive, professional and caring towards the animals in their care. Every time I return to pick up my dog, they give me a full report on his activities and you can tell they paid attention. I love that one of the owners is a vet and they routinely go above and beyond the call of duty to help me out. They have also done a great job trimming my dog’s nails.

The employees were very nice and my kittens seemed well cared for the night they were there. Unfortunately the place does smell very strongly. And when I came to get my kittens I was handed my carrier to find...the wrong cats inside. I immediately told them these are not my cats!! and thankfully they brought me my kittens. The employee apologized profusely and said there was a mixup of name tags. Ok. But that made me wonder if my kittens had been given the correct food I brought, and god forbid what would have happened if someone had given my cats to a different customer who was in a rush and took the carrier without looking inside it first. I will not take that risk again!

Staff is wonderful and loves the dogs. Have been going there since my dog was 6 months old and he is now over 4. They are happy to house sit when I have to travel and my dog is always thrilled. Couldn’t be better!

I really like this place. The puppy playgroup was really nice when our dog was younger. The only problem is the grooming, I feel like they dont understand my dogs breed because they always give him super weird haircuts, and one time he came home being matted because they didnt brush him after his bath.I feel like the intensions are good and the people are very nice, just the grooming could improve. Even when I bring a picture and say, could you do exactly this haircut, my dog ends up looking weird.

I assume this place took well enough care of my dog but need to leave a review for shady business practices. About a week after I picked up my dog, I had two additional charges on my card. I called them and they explained it was for an additional day because I had dropped my dog off at 4 and picked him up at 5. However they give you a very specific window to drop off and pick up. Then I was charged an additional daycare fee after my trial night. These would’ve been fine in theory had they explained the charges beforehand, or at least contacted me in some way to explain they were charging my card and for what reason. To just charge a card with no contact or explanation is really odd. They did refund me one of the fees but this could’ve been avoided had they just communicated with me. Not ideal.

We love bringing our dog here for daycare, as well as grooming. The staff is extremely courteous, responsive, and caring for the pups. The dogs are always supervised by at least one staff member which is reassuring.They post videos on their Instagram of the dogs playing and you can see how great a time they are having. Would highly recommend them!

We were bringing our dog to the Bond St location and were so happy to hear about their new location on 5th Ave that was closer to us. My two dogs absolutely love coming here for day care! They get so excited when we drop them off! Noor and her staff are wonderful and caring. They are so attentive and professional and always answer any questions we have when picking them up. We are so happy with the care they provide and highly recommend Lickers & Sniffers!

I can’t recommend Lickers n Sniffer enough for boarding and day care. My dog absolutely loves it there - I have to carry her home because she refuses to leave at the end of the day. She is elated to see every single staff member, so I am sure each one takes care of her very well. They have a nice back yard to let the dogs play in, too, and my wife and I love to see the Instagram videos of all the dogs playing together back there. Noor is fantastic, and I completely trust her and everyone else there to care for my dog. The rates are very reasonable for the area, as well. I can’t say enough good things about it, you and your dog will love it!

Our 4 month old labradoodle loves coming to Lickers n Sniffers! We bring him to puppy socialization every Sunday and have just started him at daycare as well. The staff are friendly and organized and clearly love what they do. I would recommend Lickers n Sniffers to any dog owner!

Cat people - DO NOT use the cat boarding service. Clearly more focused on dogs. We took our cat here and gave them a new toy to play with him in hopes this would give him a good positive association with the place, but when we picked him up the toy was unopened. For five whole days of him being there, no one even opened the package to try to play with him.They also said they were going to send us a picture and update daily. This never happened, we had to call them every other day to get updates. We received one picture, in which our cat clearly looks terrified.When I picked him up he was shaking and crying and was visibly upset for Days.Additionally, per the other reviews from upset neighbors, the dogs bark all night, which I’m sure in combination with the obvious neglect is terrifying for these poor cats.Cat boarding is difficult enough as is, but at this place it’s nothing more than a poorly executed afterthought.

GAVE MY DOG TO A STRANGEROn Thursday 1/9/20 my dog was scheduled for a walk and grooming appointment. After having used the service previously with no issues, I could not have anticipated the trauma that me and my dog experienced. At 7pm my roommate was parking her car on our block and saw a stranger walking our dog with his harness on upside-down and unsecure to the point that he could have pulled once and slipped out of the harness. His nametagged collar was also missing. Knowing the dog was supposed to be home hours prior to this, she approached the dog walker and our dog greeted her in a panic. This dogwalker gave the dog to my roommate without question, a block from our apartment. He did not ask her name, if she was the owner or where she lived. For all intensive purposes this was a complete stranger that he just willingly gave my dog to. My roommate rushed home and my dog immediately drank two full bowls of water as if he did not have access to water for the entire day. We immediately emailed the company and their lack of accountability or understanding was appalling. We repeatedly asked why our dog was arriving home at 7pm and why no one called us to keep us informed. Our dog was distressed and skiddish for several hours after getting home. We are incredibly frustrated that the company would not even call or email us to let us know what was going on. We could have easily come and picked the dog up, but instead they chose to give our dog to a new unexperienced walker and jeopardize his safety.After going to the Park Slope location the next day to pickup my dog’s collar the staff continually downplayed the incident. They confirmed that for prior walks there had been multiple different dog walkers coming to our apartment, when initially I was told it would be a consistent dog walker for a majority of his walks. The management has failed to respond to any further emails and has not apologized to us for this incident. I am confident that they do not have dogs safety as a top priority for their business coupled with their appalling approach to customer service. I would strongly recommend you avoid this walking, grooming and daycare service.

My 1 year old dachshund terrier mix absolutely loves Lickers n Sniffers! The 5th Ave location is perfect for commuters to jump on any train right after dropping off their pup for a funfilled day! My pup comes home exhausted and happy as can be everytime he gets to spend his day at daycare. Very grateful for Lickers n Sniffers and highly recommend!

Our havenese puppy Gus Gus was one of their first dogs when the Gowanus location opened. We were instantly impressed by Noors and Omers experience with dogs and loved their veterinarian background. Since then we moved to Prospect Heights and were SOOO THRILLED when they opened a second location in Park Slope. Our puppy is back at Lickers and Sniffers and we cant express our appreciation enough to their staff. Theyve been so kind and patient and loving to our puppy. And the space is just fantastic for a doggy daycare.

We brought our puppy to the puppy socialization classes for a few months and they were wonderful! They took great care of all of the puppies and it was great for our dog to learn how to play nicely.

Weve used L&S for daycare, grooming and boarding - our dog absolutely loves it there, and weve been so grateful for the caring staff (shout out to Jason!).

I have had multiple instances the past month where I’ve needed to board my dogs on a moment’s notice, and they have gone out of their way to accommodate me and my dogs. The place is clean, they take COVID safety measures seriously, and I have nothing but the best things to say about them! Thank you!!

Our dog Fika spent a week at the 5th Avenue location while we were out of the country and had a great time. We received daily updates including videos and pictures of our little one. When she came home she slept for several days!

They really only do overnight for cat boarding but they accommodated me leaving my cat there half a day. People there seem nice, would definitely use them again if needed

Great find for all your daily doggy needs. Ive used them for walking, daycare, grooming, and boarding and been quite satisfied with all their services. The location is spacious and the staff is very accommodating.

This place just leaves your dogs in the back barking incessantly for 30 minutes at a go. If you think your pets are being closely supervised this just isnt the case. Dogs are constantly fighting in the back and at times we have to call to let them know that it is out of control.

Noor and Umer are the best! Our dog loves going to daycare at Lickers n Sniffers and it’s such a peace of mind for us. Highly recommend!

The people who work at this location could not be nicer or more responsive, and we saw an improvement in our puppy’s interactions with other dogs on the street after just one puppy socialization class. We can’t wait to bring her back again!

Our dog loves going to see his friends ad Daycare, and the hours makes it much easier to drop off and get back from work.

Excellent grooming. Haircut matches the photo they asked me to supply & the staff is very nice.

Our corgi Penny absolutely loves this place. They take really great care of the dogs and you can tell.

Would not recommend bringing your dogs here. They claim they’re cage free but they’re not and they’re rusty at that; bring your dog here at your own risk.

These guys work so hard and are so patient with our playful, energetic 60lb pitbull mix. Every time we take him, he starts galloping and wagging his tail when we arrive. Highly recommend!
