Dogtopia of Myrtle Ave. - Brooklyn

Used Dogtopia for boarding our dog. He had the best time! The staff really seem to care about the dogs they watch. Picked him up and I could tell he got a ton of exercise and was given a bath. Would definitely go back- highly recommend

While staying a couple weeks at friends in Brooklyn, had to take care of an emergency and find boarding for a few days for her dog. So happy I went with Dogtopia. The whole team was super friendly and understanding of the situation, and it was just a great place for pup. (He seemed to have more fun there than when I was dog-sitting for him...) Thanks, Dogtopia team!

Multiple Problems:- No receipts for visits and I suspect an overcharge. They say they have emailed both but they have not from boarding visits. For the month of March and April.- I gave them 7 cups of puppy kibble this time and gave them more than enough kibble for my last my entire trip last time. Its always goes gone before i pick her up. They are not following measurements.- My puppy came out with matted hair and smelling like pee.- voicemails and emails left unanswered.Never had this experience before with other dogtopia locations. DC downtown and Stamford, CT locations are more organized.I am going to stick with a close family friend or Rover next time.

My puppy is everything to me and one of the reasons i know that she is so happy and sweet and has such a shiny healthy coat is that she is taken care of by the staff at this Dogtopia.Socialization, grooming, nail trimming, daily reports about her day, playing with her large circle of BFFs there, all of these services and benefits have meant that the staff at Dogtopia have been my extended family in raising and caring for my pup.The best.

I am so angry and disappointed in this establishment. People leave their dogs here with the hopes they are being loved and cared for as they are at home. Due to negligence by their team members dogs have perished and fallen ill. No one should have to say goodbye to their companion and be heartbroken because they dont understand how this has happen. No accountability has been taken by this company or their employees. It has come to my attention that employees have quit because of the horrors they have witnessed. If you love your fur baby, please research any place before putting them anywhere. This place isnt trustworthy at all!

Great play space for the dogs and super attentive staff. I brought my puppy in for a bath and they still smell great after weeks. Highly recommend these guys.

My dobie absolutely loves coming here, he drags me as soon as we get near. The staff is super friendly and is great at handling large dogs.

My complaint has nothing to do with the employees who work there or of the facilities. I basically want to give future customers a heads up about the pricing. Please make sure you get a detailed explanation of the daycare prices and the overnight boarding prices I brought my dog in for a one day overnight boarding from 2 PM one afternoon to 2 PM the next day I knew that there was an extra charge of $50 for overnight boarding and I expected to pay $80 plus tax. When I picked up my dog, the bill was $130 plus tax. They charged me for partial daycare for the first afternoon the second afternoon and the extra $50 for overnight. I emailed them several times to get a clear answer on what the charge would be but no one ever got back to me. I also wanted my dog to have a bath and to have her nails trimmed. The price for the nail trimming on the website said $14 and I was billed $17. The price for the bath on the website is $40 and up depending on the weight. My dog is 31 pounds and I was billed $40. So the total cost for an overnight with a bath and nail trimming came to $190! When I have booked an overnight service for my dog with Rover, the price quoted is for a 24 hour period. If I were given a clear price, I probably wouldn’t have booked the service with Dogtopia

This place is inconvenient, you have to go through a process to get your dog groomed, they screen your dog and interview you and your dog must be fixed, its a waste of time if youre from out of town; and even worse for service animal because they keep the dogs in the same area.

My dog is obsessed with Dogtopia! The staff is so friendly and sweet, and I love knowing he’s having a great time while we’re away. I wish I could give this place ten stars.

I was really impressed by the clean, open facilities and the staff were all extremely friendly! My golden retriever has been attending their daycare and comes home happy & tired after a full day of playing. I would highly recommend taking your pup here!

Very clean, very caring people. I boarded my puppy overnight and he refused to leave as he had the best time there.

I love this place so much. My dog, Frida, has now taken advantage of the daycare, boarding and grooming services and they are all top-notch. Every single person there loves dogs and delivers exceptional customer service, as well as love and care to Frida. The space is large and clean and Frida always comes home happy. So grateful to have such a safe, happy place to leave my dog when I have to go to work or travel.

We have gotten tons and tons of unsolicited junk mail in our mailbox for this service, despite the fact that none of us have a dog and we have never expressed any interest in dogtopia.Have requested to be removed from their spam list multiple times and still receive mail.Will update this review if/when they stop sending mail.

Great staff and facilities! Webcam access is a plus, my mini dachshund always enjoys his time at Dogtopia. A trusted place for your fur baby!

Nothing means more to me than my fuzzy babies. There is no other place I would entrust to take care of them while Im gone. Its clean and they really care.

Dogs mean the world to me and I believe dogs truly mean the world to Dogtopia. Highly recommend this place. They treat your dog how you want to treat your dog! (Wait, did someone say treat? 🐶)

My pup loves this place so much. We’ve even stumbled into her dog friends outside of daycare at FG park (the dogs would immediately run to one another to play, stick to each other like glue- so I had to ask the owners. Yep - Turns out they knew each other from daycare!). The staff also clearly love the dogs. The grooming services have always been great too.

Me and my pups love dogtopia. I know when I drop them off they are in a safe and very loved environment. The staff is friendly and professional and they are not just employees at a dog daycare but extended family at my pups second home. The facilities are very clean and I am completely comfortable with my fur babies being there.Keep up the great work ladies and gents.

I have never been in a place with a more likable cast of characters in my g-darn life. Golly bob howdy do i love this Dogtopia!! Great place to grow; thrive and for dogs to just have some fuunn!!!!

I believed that this would be perfect for my 3-year-old golden retriever. When submitting an application, you will be inquired whether your dog has any fears. Loud noises make my dog scared (banging especially). Regrettably, my dogs fears were not taken into account. The staff employs the tray of a dog crate to bang on the floor as a means to deter the dogs from engaging in undesired behaviors. I learned of this when I logged into the app to watch the cameras. I understand the need to redirect behavior, however, after observing my dog (panting, ducking, tail tucked) and still choosing to bang the tray onto the ground, was not fun to watch. My dog is crate trained. Using a familiar object, such as a tray crate, to intimidate other dogs only creates a negative association with the tray. The tray will eventually serve as a source of something she should be afraid of because of what it does to her.… I suggest trying alternative approaches to capture dogs attention.

I did like it at the beginning but there was an issue with one of the staff members on how they were treating my dog… I did let the manager know and they let the franchise know and warning was issued but I don’t think I can trust that my dog is in good hands…
