The Canine Corner

The Canine Corner is my baby’s home away from home. They truly treat him like family. Excellent customer service, excellent facilities, and excellent care all around. They are true professionals who LOVE dogs!

Canine corner takes amazing care of my very nervous and not always easy older rescue dog. They’ve been so patient with her and she’s become so much more confident during her time there. It’s clear how much they care for each dog in their care, and give lots of individualized care and attention.

Disappointing experience. Some walkers were great, but others seemed poorly trained and unprepared to handle animals properly. After two years as a customer, an issue arose with a walker—shortly after a previous incident— and I was told no replacement was available in my area and I was on my own. I did not feel valued as a customer. They even tried to shift the blame to my dog who is not aggressive. The owners did reach out in an attempt at damage control, but offered no solutions and essentially just wished me well.

The people at Canine Corner are just the best! It’s been a pleasure to get to know the staff. My anxious pup took some time to open up but everyone was so kind and patient with her, and I think now she sees it as an extension of home. I’m a regular customer for both daycare and boarding and have only had good experiences.Imagine walking into a building full of dogs and it’s *quiet* because the dogs are calm — that’s what they achieve at Canine Corner with their deep understanding of dog behavior and love for these animals.10/10, definitely recommend!

We love taking Mia to Caine Corner just for 1/2 day service so she could play with other dogs and get puppy time she comes home so tired out. I especially love how meticulous cleanliness and serene atmosphere is the dogs are well cared and loved. My hubby surprised me with an overnight today so we need to use them as an overnight boarding and they were very accommodating. Upon seeing the sleeping area and the attention to the meticulously clean place I knew my Mia would be fine not caged they have their suite like rooms.The dogs are never alone and it was Mia first time away from home.Thank you Britney

They treat Ollie like the prince that he is! Every time we take him they recognize him despite the hundreds of dogs they take care of.

My dog loves this place. Great for play dates. Half day or full day boarding. We tried overnight boarding though and because she isn’t crate trained it wasn’t a perfect fit. Although she was free to play with other dogs in an open area all day, being crated at night was too much for her. The staff went out of their way to try and comfort her. They are all great with dogs. Highly recommend!

We took our dog to Canine Corner three times a week for the past three years. He loved going to daycare and would frequently lead us there on our walk! We loved seeing the photos of him playing and he would often be sitting in someone’s lap for snuggles when we picked him up. We also used Canine Corner for overnight boarding and grooming services. We highly recommend them and are sad to be moving away!

Yesterday my enormous giant 12 year old Great Pyranees mix was. groomed by Lucas. My husband who is very critical said it was the best grooming he ever had. He walked out looking like Best in Show thanks to Lucas!

My dog has been coming here for a couple of months now. after having a bad experience at a different daycare, this one was recommended to me on a neighborhood facebook group. the staff is so friendly and welcoming, you can tell each and every one of them is very passionate about dogs. i know my dog can be a handful, he’s still a puppy and is quite the energizer bunny. but you can tell the staff doesn’t care, he comes in and they seem excited to see him. my previous daycare made it seem like he was a nuisance by having so much energy. but canine corner makes me feel so comfortable having my boy there!

I only realised how great this dog boarding is when I moved out of state! Dogs are always supervised, which I underestimated. The employees actually know how to maintain calm environment and not let 50+ dogs go out of hand

My dog loves this place. we do playdates and half-day daycare and she loves it more and more every time. staff is friendly and i fully trust them with my pup. for me, i pay for 5 hours and then she comes home and sleeps for another 5! talk about a good value

I have been taking my puppy here for the past year, twice a week. She loves it and is clearly so well cared for at Canine Corner. They even offer walks home for days that we cant get to pick her up by 8. Also its so great seeing her on their Instagram. Definitely the nicest doggie daycare in the area. Well worth the money.

My pooch has done regular weekly daycare, and also stay for short/long term boarding. The team of staff and the nice and well-keep environment deserve the 5 stars rating here. Since day 1, the team are welcoming to both clients and their pooches, with attentive care to know you and your dog well. Its great they walk the pooches during day care, so its not just having social fun indoor all day. The space is well created and designed, and their long term boarding provides both open compartment and cage as options. Theres a staff to look after the pooches during the night. Its worry free for me theres a place in the area for my pooch to social and have a staycation.

The best place for dog boarding in Brooklyn. Small, unassuming place, but these people just love dogs. Case in point: last visit, i picked up my dog after a couple days of boarding, and the guy who brings me my dog says “is everything ok with his mouth?” I have no idea what he is talking about, but don’t really want to show that i don’t pay as much attention to my dogs mouth as this guy does. So i try to play it off until he points to a growth in the back of his mouth along his gum line that i had never seen before. The next week, i took him to the vet, and they showed me that it had to be removed, and that it had been there for long enough to cause the decay of a tooth that also needed to be removed! Poor puppy. Very grateful for canine corner for spotting this for us. Your dog is in great hands at canine corner.

Canine Corner solved the crowding problem by opening a second location not far from the first and this one has outdoor space which my husky pup loves. The people are so nice and she always comes home tired.

My dog loves going there. He comes back happy every time. The facilities are spotless and the staff could not be nicer. I wish they made one for humans, Id be there every day!!!

Everyone who works here is so kind! They’ve also been incredibly generous by only charging us a half day when we’re right on the border. Im so happy they’re in my neighborhood!

I called to get pricing over a haircut and they told me 50 to 150. I asked for a basic grooming and i offered them to come over to understand how much i would pay, buy they want me to send all medical records before knowing pricing. Also she says that groomers wont talk to me until i send medical records. How would i choose a place with so many gray areas to cut my dog hair. I dont feel its very safe like this so i will find somewhere with more reasonable people. Im ok sending all medical records but give me a quote first, i wont pay whatever you want.

This was my dogs first time there. He seem to love it. The staff was very friendly towards both me and my dog. I will definitely bring him back.

My dog stated there for a week and had a great time. They are happy to give regular updates and post pictures on Instagram. Definitely recommend!

Very clean and they take the dogs outside for walks. The staff take great care of my dog and still recognize him after weve been away for a few months.

Just wanted to use their grooming service but was forced to register online and put in my credit card info. But couldnt make grooming appointment on the site. Called them back and they just said the groomer would have to get back to me to schedule, they dont schedule grooming online. So mad at that! Now you have me on file and I dont need any other of your services. I feel manipulated.

I take my mother in laws puppies here. The staff is really nice and the dogs seems to have fun I mean I can’t actually verbally communicate with them as they are animals and lack the ability to relay their own thoughts and desires but they like running into this place so that’s a good sign.

Love this place almost as much as they love dogs.

They allow way too many dogs to be walked at one time , 5-6 dogs , small dogs in with big dogs getting stepped on and yanked around , I sent in a complaint to their manager about a walker I saw who was on the phone and smoking a cigarette while walking 5 dogs and they did nothing about it , I still see him walking and smoking a cigarette next to other peoples dogs . Careless . I would never recommend anyone to take their dog here , and everyone who mentions it I will gladly tell them this same report .
