Bow wow babies was amazing! They were super informative and so helpful..our family has fallen in love with our little Stitch. He is the sweetest playful puppy ever..they are a bit of a drive for us but we truly hope to come back and visit! So thank you for everything

For a long time we wanted a puppy but it never felt like the right time, but I visited this place and my girls and I left super happy with a beautiful puppy. I really liked the cleanliness and the excellent service. They educate you a lot about care, its like having a baby at home. Thank you for making my girls happy with our puppy.

We got our toy Aussie here and our in laws got his twin here (from the same litter). I love him so much. No health problems so far and they’re 5 months old, almost 6. Best puppy in the world with the best temperament. I love him so much. He’s seriously the most amazing baby anyone could hope for and I’ve met other people so far that have got their pups here and they’re all happy :) the first picture is him as a baby and the last picture is his twin sister Luna and a recent picture of him before that.

Always such an amazing experience! I was lucky to find my baby Loki here back in 2019 & continue to get him groomed here ever since. Such a wonderful & experienced staff & are true pet parents. Grooming team are also super stars! They also carry quality & SAFE, veterinarian formulated CBD that does wonders for their long term health. It’s great to see shops like Bow Wow Babies take the lead here in New York when it comes to educating how this can benefit all pups of all ages & sizes!

Purchased two pups from this store. One in 2021 and the other in 2023. They are truly the best pet shop on Long Island. I visited a few pet shops in the area from Huntington and neighboring areas before selecting this one to purchase our pups. This was the only one that did not smell like pee! The location is extremely clean and the puppies are well cared for. That made me feel safe. Our first Yorkie was sick once we brought her home because she wouldn’t eat the day we took her home but luckily they provided her with healthcare from West Hills Animal Hospital next door. They covered the whole bill and she got better!The maltipoo has never had any health issues, but my only issue was that she turned out WAY bigger than expected. We love her but I wanted her to be a similar size to the yorkie as promised. So that left a sour taste in my mouth after paying so much for two dogs. The maltipoo is almost 10lbs and she was supposed to be around 6lbs-7lbs at most.

I got my puppy from here in October 2022. My boyfriend was searching for weeks to get me a puppy. He came across Bow Wow Babies from a friend‘s Instagram post….As soon as they got off the phone, we headed straight there lol You guys are the absolute best!!!! Maria was PHENOMENAL!!! She helped us out with everything and made it such an easy process.I’ve been convincing him for another puppy lol *fingers crossed*

Both Celebs and regular alike find their new four-legged family members here. From the organic introduction, to interim services, to the favor pickup on New Years Day- BowWow Babies delivered. They answered all of our questions and we felt fully prepared to be new dog parents. Rosie is very pleased with her new household :)

My family has been getting our puppies from Bow Wow babies for years and they are the best dogs ever, so of course we kept that trend going! We have had nothing but incredible experiences working with Jeff and Marc and we highly recommend them to anyone looking to add some puppy love into their life. The quality of the Bow Wow babies staff, merchandise, and of course puppies, is absolutely top-notch. If you are looking for a puppy, you have come to the right place. The staff is beyond welcoming and knowledgable and patiently will answer any and all questions, and trust me, I always have a LOT of questions.We just added our miniature goldendoodle Poppy and we couldnt be more in love! She is so unbelievably sweet, smart, and most of all goofy, and has already stolen our hearts in the short amount of time we have had her.

We got our 2 beautiful corgis from Bow Wow Puppies. The staff was amazing with us, sitting with the two sisters forever getting to meet them they were super patient, the information a patience with us were incredible. These 2 sisters Lexie May and Honey June have brought so much unconditional love into our life, the vet they recommend is equally as great. These 2 girls are going to have so much love given to them.Thank you Bow Wow Puppies

They have a lot of things to purchase from food to clothing and neat looking dishesWe did purchase a puppy from here and Stephanie was very thorough with basic care and what to expect and what one should do.....friendly and helpful staff...and even more importantly, healthy. Pups... Love that they do a grooming before parting with your new pup and you leave well informed. Cant wait to send them a Christmas card with our little pup 🐶

This was my first time at Bow Wow Babies!The place is IMMACULATE!!!! My family and I are very particular on smells and having everything clean, sanitized. This is the first time I have seen a puppy store soo clean! I actually like the fact that they don’t allow everyone handling the puppies. I am so happy they bleach and mop after each dog is let out in an area!!! Marc was soooooo kind informative and helpful. He took his time and answered all my questions!!!! He did not pressure us at all. I told him I would like to think about it. This will be the ONLY place that I will purchase a puppy from. You can tell the love, care and effort the staff puts in their puppies. There is also a puppy supplies and groomer onsite. They are also next to a vet and pet hospital. Good job to the team at BOW WOW BABIES!!! Hope to see you soon!

This is the only store you should consider when looking for a puppy. The store is immaculate, the puppies are beautiful, healthy and always looked after. The boutique has the most amazing things you could ever imagine. Jeff and his staff were extremely knowledgeable about the breeds and made the experience very easy. I highly recommend this store to everyone! These are my 2 French Bulldogs that are both from Bow Wow Babies. Healthy and happy!

If you want your puppy come here! My yorkie is now 4 years old he’s very healthy, playful and so cute! He did have an upper respiratory infection when he was puppy but it was no problem because for a whole month all vet bills were covered at west hills animal hospital which was amazing and convenient because it was right next door. He was very taken care of there and it went away in a few day n he was back to his playful self! I love this place I got my yorkie when I was 20 years old & the price they quoted me at I just couldn’t afford I spoke to the guy n he spoke with his manager and he gave me a price that I was able to afford I was so HAPPY!!! I went to pick him up and the process was quick no stress they showed me how to set everything up, recommended food, treats and all things that my little boy loved and needed! Not to mention he smelt soo good& was very clean! Bowwow babies is super clean for a puppy shop. Before finding my fur baby I went to other places on Long Island no one can compare! They take very good care of their puppies! & not to mention the cutest clothes, toys and accessories for your dog. Id rate more stars if I could 10/10 best place to get your new fur baby

Bow Wow babies is wonderful! We had such a great experience. Unfortunately, we had to let our Teacup Yorkie, Coco go to heaven on 10-22-18 which was one of the most devastating things my family and I had to do. We had 15 amazing years with her - although it didnt seem like enough.Needless to say the emptiness in our home was overwhelming, so we started researching puppies and breeders. I was willing to fly to the Mid West to get a dog if needed so we did NOT get a dog from a puppy mill. My husband heard abt. Bow Wow Babies and started doing our homework, read all the reviews, checked BBB and finally decided on Jan. 3rd to go in to see what dogs they had.From the beginning we knew we wanted 2 puppies, but had not definitively settled on a breed, it was either a Maltese, Morkies, Havannesse or Yorkies. We got there at abt. 7:00 on Jan. 3rd, not realizing their 8:00 p.m. closure time was for during the holidays only, a nice young man, Sam, politely told us they were closed....I was abt to walk out and take it as a sign that we werent meant to get dogs from there, but my husband asked if there was anyone there we could ask some questions because were interested in getting puppies. Sam said he could answer any questions we had.We explained to him what we were looking for, 2 Yorkies possibly and it just so happened that that day they received 2 Teacup Yorkie puppies - a brother and sister. He said he could show them to us thru the glass, but we would not be allowed to touch them - which I completely understood, these are puppies who have not received their shots yet. As soon as he brought the little munchkins to the window we knew they were meant to be with us.Everyone there from Sam, Simone, Jeff, Lisa were so great and helpful. Sam spent over an hour with us going thru the care and what the puppies needed, answered all of our questions. He was beyond helpful. The fact that we were able to go right next door to the Animal hospital to get them checked out gave us so much peace of mind.Now we have these 2 amazing, loving creatures that have livened up our home so much and helped us to heal from the painful loss of losing our beloved Coco. i recommend going there if youre a serious buyer and respecting their rules, theyre not there to stop you from seeing the puppies or interacting with them, its there to protect the babies!Daisy and Max have settled in very nicely and filled our hearts with more love then we know what to do with and we cant wait to watch them grow up.Thank you to the staff at Bow Wow Babies for everything, you guys are great!!!

Its hard not to want to take all the puppies home. The vet care provided after purchasing our puppy was very reassuring. We are headed back to purchase our 2nd pup. No pressure sale and staff was friendly.

My Husband and I got our Biewer Terrier puppy Theodore from Bow Wow Babies two months ago and had the best experience!! Maryanne kept in constant contact with us along the way while we waited for our little boy “Travis” ( now Theodore) to be ready to be picked up. Steph was there when we picked him up and was so informative and kind and we love that they include the free vet visit to get your puppy checked out before you take them home! Theodore is so happy and healthy 😊 Thank you Bow Wow Babies!!

Got my little baby Kelsi from here and she is my best friend! I went to BowWow as a recommendation and it was extremely clean and everyone was super friendly once I walked in. I explained my budget and what I was looking for. Paul helped me out, worked with my budget and was able to find me the perfect baby! She did come home with kennel cough (which I knew while purchasing her, they were very honest) but their vet did cover the cost of it all and they were amazing to deal with as well. She is all cleared from the cough and doing amazing! Thanks so much Paul and the rest of the BowWow family!

In the wee hours of July 19, my 80 year old mother lost her very loved elderly Maltese named Edelweiss, who had been failing in health for the past week. My mother, who has never been without a dog in her home since the age of 3, needed another little one to fill her days with love and purpose. After a quick search on the internet I found Bow Wow Babies, I was immediately impressed with the information on their website the photos of available puppies in the nursery, and immediately called. I spoke with a wonderful woman named Maria who told me just come on down! well find her another little girl... I packed mom up in the car and drove down from the east end to Huntington and was just blown away. Bow Wow Babies shop was IMMACULATE! and the nursery- PHENOMENAL! As seasoned dog owners, weve been to breeders and kennels and I was amazed at how CLEAN the nursery was- the puppies were all so healthy and happy looking, no smell, clean bedding, and we also got to meet the Angel that saved the day- Maria! She immediately knew we were the folks who braved the LIE and was so kind to my mother and myself. She offered condolences to my mom on her loss of her little one and was so skilled in helping her find her new companion, a Teddy Bear (Shih Tzu/Bichon mix) my mother decided to name Buttercup. Maria, knowing we were dog people, really took the time to find out exactly the needs my mother had in selecting a breed, grooming needs, diet, temperament, full growth size etc. She even spent time informing us about the puppys health record and vaccinations. She was so giving of her time and energy with my mom sitting with her to fill out the necessary paperwork and explaining to her each form and leaflet of information and placing it organized in a file folder for her. Maria was also kind enough to walk my mom out to the car (my mom is mobility impaired) and place the puppy in her lap for the ride back to the East End. I cannot say enough on the wonderful selection of healthy dogs, the beautiful clean shop, and the friendliness and kindness of Maria- it certainly made what started as a sorrowful and terrible day, into a joyous one for a now very contented and happy 80 year old lady. Good selection of puppies. The staff was very helpful and knowledgeable. Also very accomodating since we couldnt pick the puppy up until the end of the month. The prices were also good and definitely better than a lot of places we shopped at before here. Definitely recommend this place for your next puppy.

I had been searching for a pupThen. I had to stop my search due to my brother in law illness & after his death I was so severely depressed & have anxiety panic attacks that I really needed to snap out of the dark place I was in ..I started my search again and a friend drove sis & myself all over in search of my furever friend ...We needed to take in consideration that because we have cats any dog we brought in had to be cat friendly & that just wasnt happening..I didnt want a dog that had been raised to do as he/ she pleased , But a pup that I could train to be well behaved & liked by people..We took 1 day riding here ,there & everywhere till we found this place called : Bow Wow Babies & was determined to find my forever friend..My 2 previous dogs were from a shelter & Id never think of anyone else but a shelter dog But the many places we went to prior didnt have the type of pup we searched for ..We drove & drove to what looked like a very small town & found a place that looked like a house ,at first sight we were mesmerized by what we saw inside...The most beautiful pups ever ..The Staff worked with me,my sis & friend in helping me find my furever friend ...When this pup was placed in my arms after her bath , I was crying that I had finally found the puppy I had waited so long for...I highly recommend this place..Ride by & pop in ,You will leave with your Best FriendI couldnt wait to get her home where she belonged ..I discovered a long time ago that dogs are better than people!!!!!And winded up coming home with my beautiful White Teddy Bear Maltipoo whom I named : MissyAnd shes the reason I wake up in the morning...

We bought our chocolate brown shiipoo puppy from you. She is the most adorable puppy and very funny. I have another shiipoo she is small and the new puppy is long and has long furry legs. She is taller than my other girl. I love them so much.

Bow wow babies was a great experience! Brought home a new puppy today. 13 week old Boston Terrier, Brindle coat, so cute and friendly. Maria was incredibly knowledgeable and friendly, I definitely recommend this place if you are looking for a puppy.

My boyfriend and I visited multiple pet stores in one day looking for a pug puppy. After visiting a bunch on the island with no luck, we decided to stop by Bow Wow Babies only one hour before closing. As soon as we walked in, we were warmly welcomed and the place was very clean. The cleanest out of the pet stores we have seen all day.Christina helped us as soon as we started looking at some puppies and introduced us to a couple pups we may be interested in (pug mixes). She was incredibly helpful, attentive, knowledgeable and was not pushy at all!We had a really great experience and she made sure we were happy and comfortable. We ended up buying a puggle peke mix and she is very happy and healthy. They make an appointment for you at the vet next door either that day or the day after so that you know you are taking home a healthy pup.Admittedly, I was initially worried about buying from a pet store, but by the end of my experience I felt comfortable with the environment there. I would definitely recommend Bow Wow Babies.I actually found the prices to be reasonable. I looked at other pug puppies in the $2000-$3500 price range and got my puppy for $1700 at BWB.

It was literally a gloomy day and what was supposed to be a visit to explore our options for the future turned into leaving with our beautiful pup, Aria. My partner and I were very impressed with how beautifully set up and clean the store was, weve never been to any other pet store with standards so high! Lisa helped us from the very moment we stepped foot through those doors, she listened to every question we had and was very knowledgeable when it came to answering any concerns we had. She went above and beyond to make us happy and indeed we were, VERY HAPPY! Thank you, Lisa & BowWow Babies!

Gail was wonderful and helpful, she truly wants good homes for the puppies. She was very thorough with instruction on how to care for our new member of the family. We now have a beautiful teacup yorkie, or rather my daughter now has this was a gift for her. His name is Oliver.

I would recommend BowWow 100% got my baby Astro almost two months ago and he’s so playful and loving he’s great with people and he’s calm at night he’s almost 4 months now, great people and great puppies.

My family and I just purchased a french bulldog puppy and our experience was amazing! Simone was the lady who helped us, she was friendly and extremely knowledgeable. I would definitely recommend purchasing a puppy or any other pet needs here!

I got my Miles (Morkie) at Bowwow and I couldnt be happier. When we first got him he was basically half trained. he knew sit, stay and he was potty trained prior to picking him up. He also sleeps through the night and doesnt cry or howl. He loved his crate from the first night on and he has been an absolute joy. He is the cutest thing ive ever seen. Bowwow, thank you for for your professionalism, insight and care and for my fur baby Miles!

Before purchasing our Havanese puppy, we were given much great advice and direction on how to care for the puppy. Marc and the rest of the staff working there were absolutely fantastic! They keep their puppy store extremely clean. After we were placed in a playpen with a puppy (to see the puppy and interact) we had exited when finished and the playpen was cleaned and disinfected immediately. The staff makes sure that everyone uses hand sanitizer before and after interacting with the puppies. We were told not to place our hands into where the puppies are being held as there could be transmission of germs and that we could interact with the puppies in the playpen. I liked that they think of the puppies safety and health first! After purchasing our Havanese puppy, we purchased many toys, chewable items (as we were warned about teething), food, and treats which our puppy loves! I would definitely go back to BowWow for another puppy if I want another one in the future! I highly recommend BowWow Babies if youre looking for a puppy!

Bow Wow Babies was such an awesome place & so very clean. Maria helped us the minute we walked into the store, she was so nice & very informative with any questions we had. We picked up our little Buddy yesterday hes such a good boy and so adorable. We couldnt be happier to have him part of our family 💙 I highly recommend Bow Wow Babies if your looking for a pet.

I bought my beautiful Frenchie here 4 years ago. She was diagnosed with congenital kidney failure when she was 1 1/2 years old. We tried contacting Bow Wow Babies to let them know so they could tell the “breeder” to stop breeding her parents. Also so they could contact the owner of her brother.They asked for vet records and when we sent them we were then ignored, even after several attempts.I never asked for money, all I wanted was an acknowledgment.We now give our Frenchie subq fluids 3 times per week just to keep her going, prescription food and do everything we can to keep her comfortable and alive.It has taken a long time for me to write this review.Shame on this establishment for not even having the decency to reply to us.

Loved this place. The most upscale doggy place i have ever seen. Bought my baby there. They were nice, professional, and extremely helpful. Would highly recommend getting a fur baby here.

I purchased my baby Penny (maltipoo) from here and my experience was very pleasant. Even my hyper five year old was treated very nice while we were looking at and buying my penny. The vet next door checked her out and it was a vey happy day. Me and my kids cant imagine life without her . Thank you guys

This place was amazing! They are very clean and careful with their puppies. My plan was just to look and see what kind of dog I wanted or even if I did want one after the loss of our dog. Once I walked in there and saw all the beautiful puppies and how they were all jumping for attention I was emotional. Only one really stole my heart and I left with him. Maryanne helped us and she was the most patient, kindness, sweetest person I have ever met. Never rushed us and answered all our questions. I highly recommend this place!!

I bought my 6 month old puppy from Bow Wow Babies a month ago and my experience has been anything but enjoyable. The day we bought my puppy me and my family asked one of the workers if the puppy had any illness we should worry about and the lady said “no, they are all vet checked”, we trusted their word, that was a complete lie because my puppies stool sample came back positive for Giardia. When I contacted bow wow babies again I told them my puppy tested positive for Giardia and I’m just calling to let them know, and maybe they should test the puppies they were selling because she obviously got it from them. The lady said “oh that’s normal, we don’t test them”. So you just overcharge people for puppies and sell them with an illness!? When we got the puppies records, her vaccines were past due. My puppy is currently still undergoing treatment and has not passed the Giardia. Bow wow babies paid for the first medicine but that did not work. So now the rest of the treatment is out of pocket. The treatment is separate from the visit which is something we were not made aware of. All of this could have been avoided if bow wow babies actually tested their puppies. They knew she was sick but they kept their mouths shut in order to sell. The treatment is not the same as the visit. I unfortunately would not recommend this place to anyone and I believe they are backyard breeders. My puppy also came with a handful of behavioral issues. Thank goodness I saved my puppy from this place.

BowWow Babies is amazing. I brought my wife and kids there on a Sunday and it was a great experience. Of course we left with a puppy!! The store is really clean and smells great and the puppies are so cute and active. The staff is amazing and so helpful. The owner Jeff and his brother Mark were so knowledgeable and kind. They went over every detail of what to expect and how to care for our new puppy. They bestowed on us their many years of experience and wisdom. We have had a wonderful overall experience and have followed all their rules. The puppy is doing great and my entire family is overjoyed. Jeff and Mark have gone above and beyond and truly care about the puppies and your overall experience. I would highly recommend BowWow Babies and will most likely be going back for another puppy soon.

Gail, Maria and Stephanie are JUST the types of people you hope will be part of your ultimate puppy experience. I absolutely adore them and it is a treat to see them. XO I have purchased THREE pomeranians from Bow Wow Babies within two years! THATS how amazing they are. They all go above and beyond to make sure you and your puppies have the most heart warming, safe, healthy and ease filled experience. They also offer complimentary vet care to help you with any of the little puppy troubles that cant be avoided as they are all in that little kindergarten classroom together :) I also continue to return for grooming, even though it is a long car ride, because they are all so wonderful. Its like having a new extended family. I cannot say enough about the place and their dogs are SPECTACULAR!

Fantastic experience! Store is CLEAN and Puppies are happy and well taken care of. Purchased a French Bulldog puppy this weekend after extensive research. Bow Wow Babies was recommended to me from a nationally rated vet in Manhattan. I visited almost every establishment in Manhattan and Long Island and there is NO place like this. The staff are professional and knowledgeable about the breeds, food and grooming. They provided me everything I need to properly care for my new puppy. I would recommend this store to EVERYONE. I read the other negative reviews - they a clearly FAKE. This place is FIVE STARS, if not more! Thank you Bow Wow Babies for helping and supporting me in finding the perfect puppy for my family.

The very friendly gentlemen that helped us was so helpful. Our experience as a family with 3 kids was awesome. We sanitized our hands and my kids played with the puppy we were interested in for over a half hour and until we were sure he was the one. We love our pup who is now 10 months! This place is great. Very clean and they really look out for their puppies. There are plenty of signs asking customers not to pet the puppies; if you ask to look at a puppy they will set you up with the pup and make sure that you sanitize your hands first. Customers who dont follow this rule, and then are offended when they are told by employees not to touch the pups are kind of ridiculous. They are making sure the pups stay healthy. As long as you respect their policy Im pretty sure your experience will be great. In fact I still go back to get my dog groomed there. They are great too.

I absolutely loved my experience here me and my mom came here last week to get a cavapoo named poppy and she is the sweetest and smartest dog ever! she came half trained knowing how to sit and never has had an accident! We worked with maryanne and she was so kind and helpful! i highly recommend coming here to get your dog. my moms best friend recommended that we come here to get our dog after she had such a great experience. highly recommend.

I purchased a fur baby for the second time last week. Part of being a good fur mommy is choosing a good fit for your family. My first choice did not blend well with my family. But Jeff & Lisa made what could have been a complicated stressful process easy. They immediately responded & did everything they could to find us a match for our family. We could not be happier with our new fur baby. This is more than a pet store. They have become like extended family. They truly care about the animals & just want to know they are going to good loving homes. With the world in the state that it is & things being so uncertain it’s good to known good people are still around. So if you are in the Long Island area please don’t go anywhere but to Bow Wow Babies. The staff is amazing, the store is immaculate & they have a ton of accessories to choose from. Believe me you won’t be sorry🤗

We had a great experience at BowWow Babies. Christina, Maryann and Mark were all very knowledgeable. We explained exactly what we were looking for and they knew exactly what dog was right for us. It was our first puppy and they were very patient with our basic questions. Would highly recommend them and will use them again in the future. :-)

I went to many other pet stores before I went to Bowwow Babies and when I walked in the appearance and lighting let me know I was at the right place for my new addition to my family. I walked into the puppies section and it was well sanitary and organized and the best part was the strict rule of no hands in the display crib. I walked around and was assisted by Pam she answered all my questions to the best of her knowledge, she let my daughter and I interact with the puppy of my choice and then I knew he was the one for me. We then went over payment options which was great that they had financing but I don’t like credit, she then worked with me on the price to get it down to where we both were comfortable all was left to do is sign and take my new puppy home. transaction was a breeze, great service from all staff members. Ps they also have a vet that comes once a week to evaluate ALL the puppies to make sure there in great health right there and then I was sold....

We bought our puggle puppy here last week. The store was immaculate and the kennel areas for all the dogs was well kept and clean. Lisa helped my daughter and I choose our dog. She was attentive and informative without being overbearing. We were able to spend as much time as we wanted with the puppy to insure she would be a good fit. Lisa went over all care details and made our first vet appointment while we were in the store. Lisa helped us choose what we needed to get started and advised what we could wait on. I was most impressed with how she interacted with the dogs. She clearly loves them and they responded in kind.Our new baby has adjusted beautifully to her new home. She was well socialized and healthy. We couldnt adore her more.

This is the best place to get your puppy! As soon as we walked in we felt very comfortable. All the puppies are so adorable, the place is kept very clean and the staff are warm and welcoming. Maria was very patient and kind. She answered all of our questions, and walked us through all instructions needed for our baby to adapt to his new home. We are so very happy and in love with our Maltipoo.

We went to BowWow Babies for the first time and instantly knew it was the right place. It was spotless and you werent assaulted by the smell of bleach or poo when you walked in! The puppy section was neat and kept and the service was amazing. Stephanie helped us with a pup for my mom, she was courteous, knowledgeable and compassionate! We were impressed by the information she provided with regards to caring for the new puppy and there were no hidden fees! We are so happy mom has a new companion! Thank you!!

My sister just picked up a Shihpoo this weekend. The staff were very attentive , and were very accommodating to her familys needs. Marc was very informative on the breed and its origin. Marc also walked us through a training as how to properly take care of the puppy and keep everything as easy as possible for all. We went over all the vet care that comes with the puppy, in which the animal hospital is open 24/7. We could not ask for a better, more positive experience. My husband and I stopped in at Bow Wow Babies on Sunday after looking for our puppy at many pet stores. Some were way overpriced and others were dirty and the pups didnt look healthy.BUT Bow wow babies was different. The store was immaculate and the puppies were all well taken care of. Jeff was the best. The rest of the staff was pleasant and very friendly. We fell in love with a small Shi Chi and brought her home. To my pleasant surprise our little Belle was already paper trained!I would highly recommend Jeff and Bow Wow Babies to anyone looking for a healthy and happy puppy.

I brought my puppy there 2018 and never been happier. From opening the door you smell nothing but clean the puppies were happy and well maintained, the staff is very helpful and knowledgeable. We went to BowWow Babies while trying to find a place to buy our first dog. We were shocked at how clean and well kept the dogs were. Unlike other puppy stores, it was clear that the staff genuinely cared about the animals that they were selling and wanted them to end up in good homes. The staff was exceedingly friendly, well informed, and eager to help. The no touching policy along with the transparency offered with regard to the origin of the animals put to rest any concern about the health of the animals. The staff also worked in the same room as the dogs, something that we didnt see at other stores. I would recommend BowWow Babies to any prospective pet parent and I will be buying my first dog there, no matter the cost.

My wife and I purchased a Teddy Bear, Shih Tzu/Bichon mix, on March 5, 2020 at Bow Wow Babies. We found the store to be impeccably clean, and all the puppies appeared to be very clean and well cared for. The staff was helpful without being pushy. We were able to hold and play with the puppies we were interested in, without any sales pressure. The prices, while not cheap, were lower than the three other puppy stores we visited.The following day we brought the puppy to the Vet which they recommended. The vet was excellent, very caring, and very thorough in his exam. He deemed the puppy to be very healthy and alert, without any apparent congenital issues. To be on the safe side, I brought her to another Vet, independent of Bow Wow Babies for an unbiased opinion. The second Vet also gave the same assessment.It is now just two weeks later, but Ginger is very happy, very playful, is training pretty quickly and we couldnt be happier with our new puppy.The only complaint I have about Bow Wow Babies is that they gave us very little information about the breeder, and the puppys parents. I realize this is not a pedigree puppy, but felt there should be more information available. Despite that, I highly recommend Bow Wow Babies if youre looking for a puppy. They have a great selection. Gail was very pleasant to deal with, and most importantly, keep a very clean environment and apparently very well cared for puppies.

My sister and I were looking for a specific breed of puppy, and BowWow Babies was one of the locations that caught our eye. We saw that they updated their site today with the puppy breed we wanted and called. We asked the lady at the other end if they still had the specific puppy, and she answered Let me check... [cue elevator music]... Yes we do! We relied Great! and immediately drove to the store (about a 45 minute trip). However, when we got there, the puppy we inquired about was no longer there, as she was, and I quote, adopted this morning. Now, we understand that puppies come and go quickly, especially on busy weekend days. But the problem was that we had called late in the afternoon, and the puppy was sold in the morning. The person who answered the phone, who put us on hold to check if [puppy breed] is still there clearly lied to us and wasted an hour and a half of our time.As for the store itself, it is well stocked with novelty dog toys and accessories and the puppies were well looked after, so I was overall impressed by the environment. Despite this, I do not think I will be returning to this location as I cannot be certain whether or not my next visit will be another waste of time.

When I went to buy a beautiful blue colored havanese puppy. They treated us very nicely and even let us stay after closing hours so we could ask all the questions and make sure we choose the right puppy. Their store is very clean and they have a good selection of puppies, toys, and other accessories. Overall, it was a very good experience and we colleen be happier with the transaction and the dog that we choose and our dog is a very healthy. I would definitely recommend coming here.

We purchased two Toy Poodles from Bow Wow babies and the experience was wonderful. The staff (Lisa and Jeff) were incredibly knowledgeable, friendly and helpful. We arrived just before closing to pick them up and Lisa stayed almost two hours past closing to train us on the care and feeding of our puppies. We then went next door to the animal hospital to check them out and the vet there was wonderful. The next day, we received calls from both Bow Wow Babies and the animal hospital to see how our dogs were doing and to answer any questions. This is a store that cares about dogs! A couple of days later, we took the girls to our own vet and she said they were in great health. We could not be happier with our whole experience!!

I recommend that your staff gets a little more training on knowing their audience. I entered the store without one greeting. When entering the area with the puppies, still no greeting. While asking a question about the French bull dog puppies behind the counter I was given short answers. When asking to play with a puppy I was told we dont let people hold them who are not serious about making a purchase, dont be insulted, we are concerned about the puppies getting sick. First of all, when selling a puppy for $6,000, you are out of your mind for not thinking someone would want to play with the pup before hand. This was extremely insulting, and than to boot I felt it was insinuated I would get the puppy sick. I have rescued my current dog, and would do anything for her, recently spending over $2000 in medical bills. Shame on you for thinking I wasnt a serious buyer, because I had more than that amount in my wallet and entered your store not expecting to leave empty handed. I will never enter that place again, or recommend your store to anyone. Chose your customers wisely, and maybe change your qualification to holding a puppy by determining if that individual can give them a good home.

If you are looking for a dog I highly suggest going to Bow Wow Babies! We had had a horrible experience with an online breeder who ended up being a con artist who stole our money, the staff at Bow wow babies was very sympathetic to what we had been through and went above and beyond to help us. With their help we were able to reserve a mini schnauzer and will be meeting our fur baby in 2 weeks! I really can’t speak highly enough about the people who work there. They were kind and very knowledgeable, they didn’t mind answering any of the questions I had- and I had many! They even went out of their way to contact the breeder for us, and they offer fair prices on all their dogs. They don’t jack up the price because of the pandemic, shake a paw quoted the same breed of dog for $1300 more. I would give this place a 10/10 !

Jeff and his team are incredible! We took my boyfriends mom here because she wanted a golden doodle. Not only did they give her the time she needed to decide on the one she really wanted but they spent so much time walking her through everything she needed to know about caring for the puppy and answered all the questions she had. Jeff is extremely knowledgeable and his nearly 30 years in the business shows. He takes pride in his store and really cares for all the puppies in the best way possible to ensure their health and happiness. My boyfriends mom left smiling ear to ear. The puppy is doing GREAT! Settled right in to home with her and she now has a companion thanks to Bow Wow Babies! There is no other place to go than here if you are looking for a great experience and the best quality puppies around!!

I bought my shiba 2 months ago from here she is wonderful I am so appreciative that bow wow babies was so helpful and take such great care of their babies. Every time I visited all the pups were greatly taken care or and loved.

8 months ago i went into Bow Wow Babies and left with my best friend Louie. Stephanie was amazing at helping me select my mini Goldendoodle. The nursery is kept extremely clean, and all the dogs are hand selected from breeders which really put my mind at ease. I would strongly recommend Bow Wow Babies to anyone who is looking to add a gorgeous, happy, and healthy addition to their family .

We got our Maltese there several months ago and couldn’t be happier! The staff is equally knowledgeable and patient, The puppies all come from legitimate breeders, and they even carry pet supplies so when you bring your puppy home, you’ll have all the necessities. They even pay for an initial visit to a nearby dog hospital to be sure your puppy is completely healthy. This is the only place I would go for any future pets.

There are no words to describe the joy I felt bringing home our beautiful April (Morkie). I began my research on finding the perfect pet store in December and the moment I saw this one I knew this was the one. The entire staff was amazing especially Stephanie. As many times as I called (and trust me I called a lot lol) not once was she rude, or even annoyed and I cannot thank her enough for everything shes done for us. I think this place is great incase you want to buy your puppy from a trusted breeder. Everyone is nice, and they all seem to take good care for there puppies before they go in a new home to start a future. Bow wow Babies cares for there pups dearly and they make sure there pups go into a family that they trust. I give a 5 star rating because all the employees were great to my parents and I. They gave reasonable prices such as 2,000 dollars. So that is why I give a 5 star rating. Keep up the good work BOW WOW! :))

We needed to have a hypoallergenic dog. I was hesitant to go to a store, but we couldnt go to a rescue for fear the dog wouldnt be hypoallergenic. We found so many prospects on BowWiw Babies websiite so we decided to go over. The store was immaculately clean. The different choices of breeds and sizes were also great. We worked with Steph and she was wonderful. We told her our needs (described our kids, type of home). She was right on with her choices for us. We wound up taking home a Cavapoochon and COULD NOT BE HAPPIER!!! Shes incredible. She had a minor kennel cough, but that was 100% covered by their 3 week medical care. We are overwhelmed with how sweet, smart and fun our new fur baby is. Thank you so so much!

Highly recommended! We took an appointment to go check out the place, were were 50% convinced to buy one but that turned to 100% as soon as we walked in the place! The place was so clean, we were impressed! We waited and Lisa let us into the nursery room and we couldnt believe how clean the place was; the choice was incredible and we fell in love with a Pomtese (or Maltipom) and we brought him home! Lisa made everything easy for us and explained everything theres to know especially when you are a beginner like us! Cucciolo is an amazing and happy puppy dog! They follow up with you and they are near West Hills Animal Hospital which will take care of your dog with everything! Amazing place! I just purchased a maltipooshon which I named coco Chanel who is a amazing. Somehow she was already wee wee pad trained and she is only 2 months and weighs two pounds. She has no mites parasites or anything bad. I totally recommend this place because even though it is kind of pricey the puppies are in great shape and the service is great just remember to book an appointment. BUY THESE PUPPIES!

We went to bow wow babies just look at a dog. No intention of buying that day. John was so nice, helpful and patient. We ended up coming home with a havachonpoo. She is the cutest little girl. She is healthy, no parasites. She was 9 weeks when we got her , now she is 16 weeks. They gave us food to feed her, which is a very high quality food and vitamins for her. They seemed to take really good care of the dogs. The place is spotless, it doesnt smell like a dog. They mop the floor in between looking at each dog to prevent germs and we had to use hand sanitizer before we could touch the puppy. I was impressed. She has added so much joy to our family. My kids and I are so in love with her.

I went to Bow Wow Babies today with a friend in hopes of getting more clarity on the specific breed of dog I’m hoping to purchase as well as making a decision in terms of where I will get my future pup. Instead of friendly service and knowledgeable advice, I received no indication that the workers were interested in my plans for buying a puppy or my needs as a customer.After speaking to several staff members trying to get information regarding the price and temperament of a puppy, we were told that “serious customers” are the only ones allowed to interact with the animals. In contrast, multiple customers in the store with me had played with several puppies without receiving the same rude comment or insinuation. I also asked to find out if there is a down payment that i can make to ensure that the puppy is not sold to anyone else between my decision to purchase and my arrival to pick up the puppy. Instead of answering the question, I was told that I can just use a payment plan. The reality is, I would have been able to purchase the puppy at full price, IN FULL, had i been given any sort of reason to give them my money. After driving more than an hour to see this puppy and doing many days of research, which i mentioned to the staff member , there’s no reason why i should’ve been treated like a nuisance.Bow Wow Babies truly has a problem with customer service and the appropriate way to approach people who are willing to spend large amounts of money on their dogs. This was my first and last visit to this establishment. I will not support the unfriendly and unprofessional atmosphere with my money. If you live near Long Island and are considering this place for a puppy, let me save you some time: Don’t.Until every customer is treated with the respect and friendliness they deserve, there’s no reason to give rude people the benefit of a profit.

My Fiance and I just bought the most beautiful English bulldog from BowWow Babies. Lisa and Jeff are by far the most sweetest professionals and I must say the experience from beginning to the end was amazing. This was the best place I have ever been to looking at dogs and the negative reviews below are outrageously incorrect (just a tip to potential future customers). The atmosphere was extremely beautiful, the store was very clean with very cute unique items and the dog area was VERY well cared for. The staff was unbelievable helpful and friendly, are very careful about how the dogs are treated, as they ensure everyone’s hands are sanitized before touching and you can tell they truly care about the puppies and want them to have good homes. Not only was the environment perfect, they were very educated about the dogs they get from actual BREEDERS, not puppy mills (total plus, and exactly how every puppy store should). The staff helped us decide which dog would be perfect for our family and we walked out with a new family member that day. What an incredible experience!!! The Nursery is so clean and the pups are so healthy. I knew from the minute we entered the facility we were leaving with a new baby. First I have to say thank you to Jeff and Lisa for making this one of the best days in my families lives. Our new blue baby French Bulldog Neo is absolutely incredible. We were trained in every aspect of caring for our baby by Marc, the care and professionalism he showed during our training period was just phenomenal. Neos personality is just a perfect fit for our family and our vet gave the dog a perfect bill of health. He actually said it is one of the most beautiful specimens of French Bulldog he has ever seen in his 30 plus years of being a veterinarian. We also went to a recommended Veterinarian of Bow Wow Babies first and received our complimentary check up and evaluation, the pup checked out just fine. We took it upon ourselves to go to our own vet at our expense as we had a terrible experience at a store in Nassau and their recommended vet. But, this experience with both the nursery and the veterinarian have been outstanding.We have had Neo home about 2 months now and he is just the perfect Frenchie. So many of our friends and family have since purchased new puppies from Bow Wow Babies for their families and are just as happy. So again, thank you so much Bow Wow Babies for blessing us with our newest family member. I cannot recommend your facility enough !!!

I recently visited Bow Wow Babies. Im looking for a puppy, and everyone is this store was incredibly accomodating. The store is absolutely immaculate. At first, I didnt think there were puppies at the store, because other puppy stores Ive visited usually have a strong odor. This store is very clean, and they make sure that people dont reach in and randomly touch the puppies because puppies are like babies, and cant be exposed to germs. They seem to take the health of their puppies seriously. Im not sure what kind of puppy I want to purchase, so several staff members spent so much time with me, introducing me to a number of different breeds of puppies, and educating me about them. The staff was incredible, they are all so patient and knowledgeable. I spent over an hour in the store, and each puppy was cuter than the next. I havent made up my mind about which kind of puppy I want to purchase, but the staff at Bow Wow Babies told me to come back any time, and theyd be more than happy to spend as much time with me as I need. Cant say enough about the store or the wonderful staff!!!

So, after being at BowWow babies me, my sister, and my parents had a great time and got a super cute dog and the minute we saw it we knew that was the dog. The staff and employees did an great job. They had great prices and they gave us a ton of discounts. They gave me and my family free toys and a microchip for halve the price. Our experience was very good and was worth the time I really would recommend this place.

Came in today with my fiancé, and omg all the puppies here were so cute! I was so impressed on the care of the puppies and how informative the owner and associates were on everything. From the care of the animal, about the breeds, and just pretty much answered all of our questions thoroughly. These guys genuinely care about their animals and are very proud of their store and aren’t pushy in selling which tells you plenty about their credibility. You will not be disappointed. Just to give some background, I have gone to every puppy store in Nassau County, and one on the border between Nassau and Suffolk. I asked a friend who had recently gotten a puppy where she went and she recommended BowWow Babies. I went to visit Memorial Day Weekend and I asked to see a puppy. I was asked if I had any intentions of purchasing one that day. I was taken aback because I had never been asked that in any of the puppy stores. I brought that response back up to the lady who helped me (Simone) three times, and her explanation was not only fair, but clearly visible.She explained that some people want to see the puppies but are not ready to purchase for various reasons (financial, moving, not enough time). Ok, that is totally fair because I wasnt ready when I first started my search. Then, she went on to explain that the store encourages serious inquiries and interactions with the puppies because a lot of times people come directly from other puppy stores where they may have interacted with other puppies, and they do not know what, if any, germs/bacteria/conditions they can bring from those other puppy stores. Now that was TOTALLY VALID. I mean, I was one of those people. I walked in there from another puppy store, where I played with a few puppies. In fact, one of the puppies from that other store (not BowWow Babies) seemed to have a sniffle and I brought it to one of the employees attention. Also, that puppy store was not as clean as BowWow Babies. There is no dog smell at this place, and the puppies seem to roam around freely, which is great.Simone was patient, super informative, and pleasant to work with. Her explanations and patience has made me decide to purchase a puppy from this store. Unfortunately, they did not have any mini goldendoodles, which is what my heart was set on, but I will wait til I find one there.I can understand why people feel negatively when asked well are you looking to buy a puppy today but the underlying reasons are totally reasonable. I highly suggest that if you do not like the question, then ask why the question is even posed in the first place. I ended up not buying the puppy because my heart is set on a mini goldendoodle. I just found out that they have some in this weekend, so hopefully I will come home with one today.I hope this review helps!

I bought my service dog Draco from them. This is a wonderful establishment! From the staff to the merchandise you need for your pets, this place is absolutely AMAZING. Theyre very well informed and work with the best breeders around. The staff does not rush you, and they take special time and care to accommodate each person who walks in. What ever questions you may have (do not be afraid to ask, even if you think it is stupid!), they will answer it in great detail and reassure you to the best of their ability. We had an amazing experience at Bow Wow Babies. We got our girl in November 2017. They had us sanitize our hands and brought both my boyfriend and I into the little room. The first dog they brought us wasn’t a fit and they could see we were hesitant. Rather than get frustrated with us they asked a few more questions, sanitized our hands again and then brought us the next one. From the moment they put her down we knew right away she was the one. 2 years later and were still recommending people there.

My husband bought me a teddy bear puppy from here for Christmas and he is the most adorable puppy ever! My issue is with their grooming the first time I brought my puppy there they explained to me he was too young for a full haircut and they would clean him up and his first full hair cut would be before he gets fixed. Ok they did a good job the first time and I was given a price of $25. The second time I took my puppy there was yesterday and what a horror show. My daughter dropped him off and picked him up and when I got home and saw him I was horrified. They cut one nail too short and there is blood all over his paw, and they cut the hair near his eye so short I can see the skin underneath on one side. I was also told it would be $35 for the second visit when my daughter went to pay she was given a total of $48.80. I left a message for bow wow babies regarding this and have heard nothing back. At least apologize for this sloppy work and acknowledge it. Dont take your puppy there to be groomed my poor puppy was traumatized!

I spent months trying to find a corgi puppy to have as an emotional support dog. After getting my money stolen from a person online I felt like I had no hope to find a puppy to love. My mother happened upon this store while searching online and fate would have it they had a corgi puppy in store. I went immediately and fell in love with my sweet baby. The staff were so unbelievably helpful, they answered all my questions and I knew that they truly cared for their puppies. I am happy to say I got my new family member at their store. I will be back!

I traveled a long distance to BowWow Babies, excited to find a sweet puppy for my 8 yr old daughter as a Cxmas present. I viewed a few Utube videos that John posted online about their puppy selections. I spoke with John in advance and he was very helpful. The puppies were selling quick and most of the hypoallergenic cutie pies had signs of forever homes posted over their cublicles. I explained to John that we were searchingfor an active puppy that was playful, healthy and sweet. John had the perfect Shih-poo that pounced on me and my little girl. He couldnt stop licking and playing with us. It didnt take long for us to decide that little man Skyler is a keeper. Christina was very helpful in setting us up with instructions, training and making some beautiful purchases in the boutique for our little guy. Skyler was up to date on his vaccinations, but I needed piece of mind and took Skyler to the Animal clinic next door. The Vet gave a thumbs up on his health. I returned to the puppy store and Skyler was taken to the back for grooming and he was also fed before our drive to Skylers forever home. Im over the moon with our new addition. Skyler is super smart, very playful, with a great Big appetite! We took Skyler to the Manhattan Animal clinic for heartworm prevention. The Manhattan Vet confirmed that Skyler is healthy and strong. Skyler potty trained in 2 days! A great Big thanks to John for taking the time to listen and understand our puppy needs. John also managed to work out a better price for our purchase. He just gets it. Christina, thank you for all your patience and helping us out with all the puppy details. I will certianly recommend BowWow Babies for anyone that wants to find a large selection of healthy puppies. I had a bad experiance 6 months ago with a puppy purchase, but I can assure you that BowWow Babies staff members respectfully cares for the well being of their sweet puppies. Im a realist an traveled to many puppy stores and this one is top notch. The store is meticulous, high end in all aspects of keeping their puppies in a clean environment with plenty of interaction. You are allowed to play with a nice selection of puppies, just ask and the employees understand. Just keep in mind that if you had a new Baby at home, would you allow anyone to hold, carry and play with your newborn before sanitizing their hands? Overall, our experiance was very pleasant. My 8yr old daughter and I are grateful and happy with our purchase. Welcome home Skyler!

Purchased my mini Australian shepherd here about 2 months ago. Transaction went good although it took me a while to get someone’s attention so they could help me. Once someone did help me they didn’t tell me much bout the puppy or the breed. Kinda felt like they didn’t want my business. But I just awanted the puppy so it was ok I guess. They were good about explaining how I should care for my puppy and how to train her. She is 4 months old now and healthy and happy. Very easy to potty train.

I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a puppy. About 2 years ago I came to this place with no intent of buying a puppy until I saw chloe and fell in love and it was the best decision ever. I can’t imagine life without her now. They really know what they’re doing here, from the information they give you on how to crate and play pen train your dog to the healthy foods and supplements they advise you to give your puppy. I always recommend this place to anyone who asks where I got chloe. Additionally I have realized that maybe they wee wee train their puppies? Chloe came home knowing how to go on the wee wee pad and never had to train her and realized the same thing with other people.

Im typically anti-puppy store. Though I have to say as far as stores that sell puppies is concerned BowWow Babies has their act together. The place is immaculate and you wouldnt know it that they do in fact sell dogs, unlike some others on the island which wreak of urine and feces. They dont let you handle the dogs, again for the betterment of the dogs health in their care to not be handled by a million and one window shoppers. We spent better part of an entire day in store yesterday and 3 hours today before taking home our two new additions and they practically clean up the poop as its coming from the pups lol lol Even before we left vet appointment was made and out one door into the office to the vet right next door to make sure our new additions were well. No waiting, no problems, excellent. Kudos for taking the care of the puppies above making sales!!! We are very pleased with our experience as we had a very hard time trying to find the breed of choice in rescue at this time. Keep up the great work!

The staff needs a class on how to talk to customers. Absolute disgrace. They dont disclose any information so be careful signing any paperwork. Be sure to read each and every line carefully. They dont cover anything unless you go to there vets/stores/hospitals. AND, they all work together. Their vet said my pug was fine. All tests negative. I took my pug to my vet that Ive been with for over 15 years and tests come back positive. Unreal. They are a disgrace. They told me to talk to the owner and she wont give owners name. How ridiculous is that? Whats even more ridiculous are their prices. And then try to get another one...no discount. They just out for the money. No cares about the puppies themselves. Because if they cared about the puppies they would be lower in price and excited to give their puppies to loving homes. NOPE...NOT THEM. NEVER GO THERE AGAIN!
