Lucky Paws Pet Grooming

Never again , I have been going there for over a decade back to when it was TLC. Clearly new owners and staff. I stated my dog had to be picked up at a certain time when I called (4x no one picks up phone ) they said it would still be another hour. She was wet when I got her her pads were not buzzed nor her nails clipped. Plus they never put her collar with tags back on her and can’t get through to anyone on the phone . Totally over priced . I am not one to knock a small business but I clearly didn’t receive the service I paid for

This is the 2nd time we have brought our little Maisie here...the first time was for an emergency as we had just foster/fail rescued her and she was a breeder mom and a filthy mess. They didnt have any appointments available the next day but made an exception and took her in after we explained the situation. Both times she has come home smelling sweet and looking absolutely gorgeous. Thanks for taking such good care of our little girl!

My little beast seemed to love it. The prices were also really reasonable and the staff was super friendly. Really good option when the weather isn’t great and in a pinch for time.

Kristen has been my golden retrievers groomer for several years. Shes terrific! Lucy is groomed by her throughout the year with special puppy cuts for summer. Takes a few weeks to get an appointment with her so plan ahead!

Ashley does an excellent job with our Sheltie! She looks and smells great when she leaves there. Shelties are a bit of work but we are very pleased with Lucky paws all around. Thanks Ashley!!

Lucky paws is the first place I took my dog when I moved here to Huntington. In the past 3 years I have never had an issue. Wonderful and extremely helpful staff! She always looks so cute after her haircut :)

I drove half an hour to take our new puppy for a grooming appointment that I made yesterday. When I got there today for a 3:00 appointment the man at the front desk told me there wasn’t a 3:00 appointment. When I explained that when I called yesterday the girl booked it for 3:00 today and his response was “I was at the front all day yesterday.” He was very unprofessional and zero effort was made to accommodate me. Very disappointing experience.

I am so disappointed and will not patron Lucky Paws again. I have been taking my dog there for some time. Last night I had to take her to the emergency room. She has an ear infection so bad that the inside of her ear was black and oozing. I discovered it by the awful odor coming from it. This clearly did not pop up overnight and shes had it for some time. She was groomed two weeks ago at Lucky Paws. I feel very strongly that if they cleaned her ears (which they say they do) this would have been discovered earlier and a vet visit would have sufficed. I dont believe they provide the services they say they do as you could not have missed this! I could not post this without clicking on a star, if I could I would not give them any.

First time at Lucky Paws and I’m so happy with how my mini schnauzer came out! It’s a difficult cut and the groomer nailed it! Would def recommend bringing your furry family members here.

Walter is my dogs groomer and babysitter. He’s great with him, very patient and kind. My dog is very nervous and anxious but with Walter he is comfortable. They always take care of my mini golden doodles hair with great care.

Very pleased with Kay She is an exceptional groomer. My dog always looks great when I pick her up.

After six years I recently had a bad experience at a grooming salon that was i was taking my 6 year old Pomeranian. I kept cancelling my dogs appointment, and they would always call me saying that they needed a credit card on file so that they would charge me if I missed my appointment again, it was very rude of them to do that, I wondered to myself if this is how they treat me ?, i wonder how they treat my dog? I was disappointed, they lost a client, i was taking my dog to this grooming salon ever since he was 8 months old.I decided to try TLC doggy spa, I was blown away from the amount of happiness when they welcomed me and my dog into the salon for the first time. The staff is always smiling, respectful and caring about the owners, and of course the dogs as well. The groomer was very nice, and asked me what kind of hair style I wanted my dog to be groomed, she also gave me some suggestions as well to make him look more better. I was pleased with my first experience at TLC.

We really like the grooming work they do here. Our mini schnauzer doesnt like going (because what dog likes the groomers), but he definitely feels better when his pampering session is done! 😊

Krystyn is a wonderful groomer and my 8 year old Golden looks great every time! The office and service area is very clean. The staff very accommodating and friendly.

Not going back. They have nicked my dogs a few times, the last straw was yesterday when they cut my dog’s paw pretty bad. The groomer decided not to be up front about the accident so we found out after we got home and noticed him leaving trails of blood all over the house, ruining carpets and furniture. There’s no chance they didn’t know, the cut was deep so I know my dog screamed and the blood was everywhere so it would have been very obvious to them. We were lucky to catch it when we did and it will hopefully not get infected.I don’t have a problem with mistakes, but injuring a dog to this degree and not addressing the situation head on when the owner picks him up shows a lack of character and trust. They just care about making their tip.

Worst Dog Grooming EVER‼️ Horrible customer service and made a mistake every time with my dog. One time they kept my small dog there for over 5 hours in a cage with repeated calls from me as to when he would be done. Last and finale time his coat was still moist which caused horrible matting of his hair within 3 weeks. Nasty attitude when I complained. NO CUSTOMER SERVICE‼️🦴

They Kept my dog in a crate unnecessarily for 2.5 hours and only started bathing him because I called. Then called back 20 min later to say he was done. His ears weren’t even clean. Totally over priced. They didn’t even discount the price or apologize. Never again

I brought my dog here thinking u guys would do a great job. But instead my poor poor puppy received the most horrific haircut he will ever have. I was so unhappy I can’t put it into words. Thank u for ruining my experience with u TLC. Also the staff wasn’t very friendly it was my first time there and they didn’t seem welcoming or personable..

Absolute attention to detail. Dogs are very comfortable and come home happy and beautiful...feels like family! Kristyn was our groomer and she is a true professional.Wouldnt dream of going anywhere else.

AMAZING!! Will never go anywhere else again. We brought our cat to TLC n she looked beautiful after. The groomer Ben did everything we asked. Roxxy, our cat, who is typically scared of everyone besides my bf n I actually warmed up to him. They took us in as a walk in n I explained that shes a scaredy cat n didnt wanna leave her long n they still were able to accommodate us. It was quiet n clean but most important she looked n smelled great. Normally when we take her to be groomed it takes a while for her to bounce back to herself bc shes so stressed n scared, no stress from TLC. Seriously, if u love your pet take em to TLC.

Got my babies nails clipped. Receptionist was able to give me a window same day. I was in and out. Quick and professional. Give them a try if you havnt already.

We took our dog here for a nail clip and they rushed him into the back, we heard him yelping and within 3 mins they brought him back up with only 4 nails clipped, said they couldnt do it bc he was being nippy and still charged us 15$. Also there was a giant mastiff roaming around that almost got out the front door when we entered and they yelled at us to close the door.

Ashley takes care of my dog when grooming . I would never imagine any other groomer than Ashley. Highly recommended. Ashley has been grooming Teddy for more than 5 years now.

TLC Doggy Day Spa is by far the best dog groomer around the North Shore of Long Island. The people are awesome and they take great care of my Maltipoo. Their new store in Syosset NY is clean and the staff is very warm and welcoming.

I would not recommend anyone to bring there dog thereAfter I went over how I wanted my dog cut with the front desk it was nothing like I requested and didn’t even look like my dog no one who new Teddy recognized him .The groomer obviously does not know how to groom a dogTake my word don’t go there

I dropped my dog off at 10:30am which was his appointment. Why is he just getting on the grooming table at 2:10pm… Maybe dont schedule appointments if you’re going to have peoples dogs in a cage for 4 hours.. idk about this place.. I haven’t seen the cut yet but the wait is crazy, has me concerned about my dog.
