We attend Agility classes with Megan & fitness with Leah- They are both incredible. They breaks things down so theyre easy to understand. In both class, we have watched them meet dogs/ people where they are and help them grow together. We are lucky to be surrounded by teachers with so much knowledge and passion. Both instructors are both well accomplished coming from a plethora of experience (appropriate titles, certifications for their respective areas of expertise) they also continued to develop themselves as teachers. Keep up the great work! WLTC is lucky to have such a skilled teachers on their team.

Can’t recommend Western Lakes Training enough!!! I have been attending classes here with my dog Maisy for close to two years now, from basic obedience all the way to more specialty classes such as agility and canine fitness. The instructors are extremely knowledgeable and qualified. We’ve worked with Leah for canine fitness, Megan for agility, and Lisa for obedience, they are all wonderful! My dog and I have even gone on to participate in competitions in obedience, fast CAT, and agility and have truly found a new passion in the world of dog sports!

Megan Maholsic is nothing short of amazing at what she does. She is so knowledgeable when it comes to agility. Willing to work with (and understands) shy dogs, fearful dogs, insanely hyper dogs and everything in between. She cares so much about what she does. She knows so much about agility and has the titles, championships and experience to show it. 🐾❤️

Loved it. People are great. Had to quit before the last class. Was in the hospital. When I recover, Ill try again. They are great!

I have used western lakes for 16 years for my dogs. I love the facility. My dogs have done well in the classes. The instructors help you with any problems you have. They offer different classes like agility, Rally and advanced obdience. Having a dog that listens is a joy. Everyone here will help you through it

Great place to train for agility. Meg and Leah are awesome! Its a little off the beaten path behind the pug and small animal rescue off military road. I being my own crate for my dogs because they have only 5-6 community crates. One downside is no A/C (they have a bunch of fans). Highly recommend.

The amazing trainers have taught me and my dog SO much! We have had SO much fun in obedience and agility and are now avid competitors!

I signed up via email for an upcoming training class and received an email confirmation that we were added to the list in November. By the time I got my payment in(December) Deb Benish had no recollection of ever having adding me to the list and this was stated in a phone call to me. I forwarded her the email confirmation I received and her reply was that my payment wasn’t received “soon enough” but it was clear from her phone call she had never actually added me to the list in November. Clearer guidelines need to be laid down if you’re going to claim that the reason was my payment. I still sent it in prior to the start date(January 6th) so if this is the way business is conducted at this facility I want no part of it. We were really looking forward to the class after having a tough year in 2022. I am very disappointed.12/22 Update: I was notified today that additional spaces have been added to the class to accommodate this error. I appreciate that they corrected this.

I trained on Monday nights with Dawn and Sue with all three of my pit bull mixes and was very happy with the results. Both teachers are very knowledgable, patient and encouraging in class and out. I have learned how to train myself to be able to train my pets. I walk all three dogs at once and often receive compliments on how well behaved and obedient they are.Im grateful to Dawn and Sue for all that they taught me!

I love Judy Hook and her agility class on Saturdays!!! 😊😊😊. My dog really enjoys class and has progressed so much in a short time. Judy really makes class fun and is willing to spend extra time with your dog if needed. I highly recommend this class!!!

I called to inquire about their classes. The woman who returned my call yesterday was very short and dismissive with me. She had no interest in explaining things or listening to my questions. She ended the call after 25 seconds by telling me that they wont offer me any classes unless I pay to go through their obedience class. THANK YOU, I will taking my money and referrals elsewhere.

Trainers are very knowledgeable! Environment was clean, but unbearably warm- Ipersonally thought I would pass out on the hot days during the summer

WLTC has been nothing but wonderful to my Golden Retrievers! We have been taking Megans agility classes since August of 2023. Megan has many years of agility experience under her belt and it shows! She is very patient with new teams starting out in the sport and is helpful in correcting both ends of the leash.We have also dabbled in Canine Fitness classes with Leah. She is extremely knowledgeable when it comes to the anatomy and physiology of dogs. Knowing that Leah strives for continued education keeps my mind at ease when she works with my pups. Each student has a custom plan tailored to their particular needs, as well as very detailed homework to do after class is over.This is the nonjudgmental environment that my husband and I have been looking for since my first pup was 8 weeks old. I wish we would have found WLTC sooner, but its better late than never!

They do an amazing job training and teaching dogs of any age. They always make time to focus on each dogs individual needs and behaviors
