Lisa was very reliable and diligent about sending pictures of my puppy’s walk. I could tell he was happy based on my Ring video. She was punctual and respectful when returning leash and refuse bags to their proper places.

Alison watched our two dogs for us while we were at a family wedding. She kept us updated with texts and photos, which was much appreciated! We knew our dogs loved her from the moment she met them at the meet & greet, and we were extremely confident in her ability to care for them and keep them happy and safe. Alana & Katherine are awesome. They send pics/video of their visit. It really gives me peace of mind when I have to go out of state. My cats like hiding under my covers when they hear strange/new noises/voices. They’ve started warming up to them during their third visit.

We have used Claws and Effect a few times now for cat sitting and have always been continually happy with the service! Lisa was so professional and obviously cared so much for our kitties. We received updates throughout the day and she was great to communicate with. Overall a fantastic service and company!

Alana and her crew are amazing. They have watched my cats for a while now and always go above and beyond. I love the pics they send during each visit! But during the Christmas blizzard especially, Alana went over and above, making sure my automatic feeder had batteries in case the power went out, and she even trudged through the snow on my unplowed street to get to my cats. Staying in contact with me all the time. They are fantastic and will really care about your pets!! Can’t recommend highly enough!

Claws and Effect is absolutely the best ever. Alana came when my vet was not doing nail trimming during COVID and still comes regularly. She is amazing with our dogs and they are so happy to see her when she comes for their trim. I would highly recommend them to everyone in need of the services they offer. I am very happy with Claw and Effect (great name too). My kitties were spoiled rotten. Loved the daily pics and how fast our little fur babies warmed up to their caregiver. They say animals know who they can trust... THANKS AGAIN SO VERY MUCH.

I would highly recommend Claws and Effect without a doubt. Our vets wouldn’t accommodate us because “nail trims aren’t necessary” at this time. Unfortunately my dogs nails had gotten out of control, but Alana came out and was amazing with both of my old girls. She walked me through everything she was doing while she was trimming their nails and was able to schedule us again in two weeks. Both of my girls can be a bit hesitant with new people, but they warmed right up to Alana in the short time she was with them. Thank you so much for making things a bit easier for Ellah and Maggie, as well as myself!

I would highly recommend claws and effects to do pet sitting. They took great care of my bunnies and sent me photos every time they visit so I can enjoy my trip without worrying my bunnies. I would definitely work with them again.

I absolutely love having Claws and Effect take care of my pup. Hes a gimpy old senior who has different needs and they were happy to modify their care to ensure my boy was well cared for. I used them for dog walking, and they always followed up with a report and photo. And to add icing to the cake, theyre a local, woman led business. My boy loves them and gives them 2 paws up!

I have three dogs and a 6 month old baby, its difficult to manage it all especially when you have a long day at work that makes it unable for you to stop home to let the dogs outside for a potty break. On top of that my baby doesnt enjoy nightly strolls due to his early bed time route which results in the dogs not getting the outside time that they deserve. It was incredibly lucky to find people like Alana and Katherine who took the time to come over, discuss all of my concerns (because its hard to leave our fur babies in other peoples hands). They were so thorough and didnt rush the process at all. My one dog, Barry, needs extra guidance with walking too. He has specific needs that not a lot of people are able to handle, but Katherine does it so effortlessly. My dogs scream with excitement when she comes over, and she is great with communicating how well they did and sending photos. It takes a lot of pressure off of me, and also gives my dogs the best time outside on their walks. Thank you Claws and Effect for giving me a peace of mind, while also loving my doggos! Will always be using you guys!

I have nothing but the best things to say.We got a puppy and needed someone to help during the daytime with walks. They have been super professional with all interactions. My puppy loves them.I feel he is in safe and capable hands . I love getting photo updates with each walk.We are just starting training sessions as well, and so far that is going very well too!

Katherine is amazing! She came to our home and worked with our 3 year old Yorkie and showed us what to do to help her separation anxiety. Our girl is improving so much. My dog Piper and I worked with Katherine for Piper’s dog reactivity. Katherine was very, very knowledgeable about basically all things “dog language” which really helped me to better understand Piper. I can’t believe all the things we got done in just 5 sessions. Piper is such a better dog. With our training, Piper is so much more calm and relaxed on walks. She’s also so much more attentive to me. Lately walks have been so much more enjoyable for her and me now that we know how to communicate and now that we have tips for properly getting out of a sticky situations. I’ll be seeking her help with off leash training in the future. I highly recommend!!

There are not enough positive words to say about Kath and Alana. Prior to starting my new job I was feeling guilty about my dog being left home for long periods of time, but also nervous about putting him in inexperienced hands. A meet and greet with the two of them quickly put all of my worries at ease. They are so knowledgeable and really pick up on each individual dog’s quirks. My boy loves them and I look forward to their picture updates every day!

Claws and Effect, Inc. was recommended to us to help with a barking problem we HAD with our 16 month old male Maltese, who loved to bark out the window at everything; other dogs, people, squirrels, blowing leaves, whatever. Katherine came to our house and explained and demonstrated what we need to do. We practiced a couple of times and after she left, to our surprise, he did not bark the rest of the night. Then, day 2, 3 and 4 - still no incessant barking. We are very, very pleased. Thanks for being there, Katherine!

I randomly found this company and had to leave my special needs cat for a few days...couldnt have asked for better help. They went above and beyond, sending pictures and updates, and allowed me to vacation knowing my pet was taken care of by people who truly care!

Alana and Allison watched my pup for me whilewe were away and they were both amazing! They are both so kind and attentive and even the neighbors were amazed with how much they were outside playing with him! They kept him on schedule for his daily routine and fed him dinner as well. They would check in with me and give me updates along with send photos. I would recommend them to anyone who needs help while they are away.

100x better than boarding your pet in a facility where they arnt really watched, the people that work in thise places care about $8 an hour worth of care. Dont stress your pet boarding them (putting your pet in a daycare is one of the most traumatizing and confusing things for them, watch some YouTube vids of behind the scenes on what happens at those places) Alana and company treat your pet like their own and my dog ended up getting taught a few new tricks as a bonus :) 100% best pet sitters Ive used in Buffalo and I travel 6 months out of the year.
