Buddys Dog Den

Buddy’s Dog Den is fantastic, and treats my dog like a member of the family. While I’m busy working, my dog is safe, loved and playing with many friends. I highly recommend Buddy’s for both daycare and boarding!

Everyone at Buddy’s goes above and beyond not only for the dogs in their care but all pets and wildlife in need in the neighborhood. They truly love animals. My dog loves going there!

My dog Kate gets so excited as soon as she realizes were on our way to Buddys, she loves it there! Everyone is so nice and knows her by name which makes me feel good. Theyre really flexible on scheduling and their facilities are clean. Also, they take and post great pics of your pup playing like this gem!

Super friendly staff. Took my sheepadoodle in for a shave and was lucky enough to book an appt for the next day. The price was great and the results even better. Happy to have a new go-to groomer.

The best day care around! Buddy’s makes me feel secure when leaving my pup with them. They are attentive, patient, friendly, know him by name, and he always has a blast. I love hove embedded they are in the community as well.

I had the pleasure of getting both my shih tzus groomed today for the first time at Buddys Dog Den. My previous groomer went out of business given the new rules about selling puppies in the city. To that end, I could not have been more pleased with the EXCEPTIONAL service, and grooming from both dogs. WOW they nailed it.Buddys is reasonably priced, clean, and provide exceptional client service. I was so pleased with the outcome that I booked my next appointment in 2 months. Our rescue dog loves Buddys dog den! They have been super kind & patient with him all along the way - we love Buddys! Great dog daycare (and boarding) at an amazing value. The staff are AWESOME. Cant say enough positive things about this place.

I have been taking my dog, Mae, to Buddys for over a year now. The love that she gets when she walks through the door is absolutely incredible, you can tell they care for the dogs, She goes in and her tail is wagging immediately and does not even look back. Not to mention they are a great part of the dog community in the area.

We love Buddys Dog Den! Our pooch tries to bring us into Buddys every time we walk by. The staff are very friendly and truly care about our dogs happiness. Great place!

Buddy’s has been absolutely amazing. They go above and beyond! They hand fed my elderly dog chicken when she was sick. Truly the most caring and responsive staff. Thanks to the staff (especially Agnes!) for everything you guys do! Sadie was a very lucky girl to have had you. ❤️

Buddy’s dog den is such a great and safe place for daycare and grooming! So devastated that Peter their beloved groomer passed away very recently. Also writing this review to address the new 1 star reviews upset over lack of grooming. And the one unhinged woman that is on an attack rampage on buddy’s for learning of peters death when calling to book an appointment… girl his services aren’t even arranged yet of course it’s going to take a minute to let customers know. If you really care about Peter then delete all of your online vitriol.

Our dog has been coming here for two years since she was a puppy and weve never had any issues. Shes always pumped to get inside and equally eager to get home and sleep after a full day of play. Plus they have a backyard and doggie pool in the summer - pretty rare in Brooklyn. Very trustworthy and responsible staff who clearly love all the dogs and enjoy getting to know each one.

Our dog has been going here multiple times a week for 4 months and its been a great experience. The hours are terrific and our pup always comes home tired. Definitely the most convenient daycare in our neighborhood.

Great groomer! My little cavapoo loves getting groomed here. She always leaves looking beautiful and feeling happy. I can tell the groomer here really loves what he does.

My husband just picked up our 1 year old Morkie from getting a grooming at Buddys which would be his 2nd time there. They did NOT cut my his hair the way we asked at all VERY DISAPPOINTED. Groomer claims his hair was matted which is a complete and utter LIE cause his hair may have been longer but I brush his hair on a regular basis. I will be calling them with a VERY disappointing complaint. WE WILL NEVER GO HERE AGAIN!!!

Great communication, value, and an outdoors space for the dogs to enjoy. When the dogs stay overnight, they make sure they are in an open space and not a kennel. Highly recommend.

Amazing team here, great place to board your dog in Brooklyn. My condolences to the team for the loss of their groomer - disappointing to see other patrons being wildly inconsiderate about this tragedy.

Staff was very friendly... Unfortunately my bigger dog was dehydrated when i brought him home and almost passed out. Not a good experience.

I have to share that I was a very loyal customer for the past 5 years to this establishment. I am very picky when it comes to where I take my dog. I read reviews and visited several before I felt comfortable with Buddy’s. I brought my dog for grooming every few weeks with joy and delight only because of the groomer Peter. Today changed everything. Peter took care of my dog like a true Queen he loved her and always did a great job. I would text him photos to make him smile. I called to book a grooming appointment and was told without compassion or consideration for the emotional impact that Peter died. “Grooming is suspended our groomer died” I was absolutely shocked! I couldn’t believe it and further more that we as loyal customers hadn’t received an email or a call so we could offer condolences especially to the family and be informed. I shared that feedback and was told “ok have a good day”. I have always found that the service here was mediocre in fact I have used the terrible customer service I experienced here a few times as case studies for sales trainings I conduct focused on what not to do. I kept returning here however because of Peter. It should also be noted that after I provided my feedback I received a horrific nasty message from the manager. It was intense defensive and nasty. The fact that they don’t even take feedback tells me a lot about a business. If Peter wasn’t there I wouldn’t have returned. I have now found another great groomer. There are so many amazing places to bring your business and your beloved dog. I do not recommend Buddy’s at all. Sending you love Peter we loved you and appreciated you so much.

I take my dog Kayla to Buddys Dog Den 1-2x a week for daycare - she loves it there! Ive taken her to other dog daycares in the past but I think this is by far her favorite. She comes home completely exhausted after a full day of playing and sleeps through the entire night. Thank you Buddys Dog Den staff for taking such good care of Kayla!
