My Best Buddies

Im so happy I found My Best Buddies (on my neighbors recommendation)! I originally hired them to come walk my anxious little guy when I was in the office, but when he was too scared to handle that Theresa recommended daycare instead, and she was totally right. He went from being fearful of being handed over to her to wagging his tail and trying to climb into her arms after just two visits, and hes still so excited every time he realizes where hes going. Ive started sending him on some days I dont go into the office because he always comes back so happy and confident (and tired out!). Theyre so accommodating of my schedule and kind to my dog. The whole experience has been fantastic.

My family went away on vacation and had an emergency medical situation with our dog sitter. Theresa graciously took our dog on complete short notice. I cannot express how grateful we are to her for giving us peace of mind and helping us in an impossible situation. Theresa is an exceptional caretaker of animals, as our dog was happy and well-fed. I highly recommend my best buddies for your pets. Support this mom and pop business, they truly care for your pets.

My Best Buddies has been so amazing for me and my dog! At first, they would come walk her when I was at work. But they recommended that she go for daycare instead and they were right -- my dog has been so much happier staying with them during the day! She looks forward to going to daycare and absolutely loves all of the people who work there. When I take her for walks, she likes to walk to MBB to say hi to her friends.

My best buddies has been a lifesaver. They love ur pet like their own and care for them so well… it’s like a Big party for ur fur baby!. My dog has a blast when she goes ! Plenty of space to run and play and lots of toys and big bed to jump in! They feed them incredibly well!!! I wouldn’t trust anyone else….. they love animals and it shows in in the love and care that they give. Do not hesitate ! U have NOTHING to worry about. Go enjoy ur vacation with a clear head ! They call and text and update u w pics and videos …. If I could give 10 stars I would. I absolutely love these ladies ! I have used them about 5 times already and have two upcoming trips I planned that I couldn’t have if not for them ! They have taken the anxiety away from me in going away and I am forever grateful for them!

I am so happy I found this place! Theresa is very accommodating to schedules and is able to take last minute drop offs. I have a 4 month old shiba inu puppy that is very shy at first and I have noticed he is a little more social and confident ever since I have started dropping him off at MBB. Daycare has been great for his socialization!

My dog Aspen gets his grooming done there. They are quick, affordable, and have great service. Sometimes the cuts are a tiny bit uneven, but thats 100% because they are being respectful of my dogs boundaries, which is the priority for me.

My dog Lulu has attended Best Buddies for almost two years. Lulu absolutely loves it there!!! Lulu easily adapted to the friendly atmosphere when she first got there, made Cosmo and Coco her best friends and has even made feline friends! Theresa has always been friendly, professional, and courteous, from day 1. I appreciate how caring and nurturing Theresa is with all of the animals. She knows their personalities, is helpful when we needed boarding at the most awkward times, and it gives Best Buddies that personal touch you may not get at other much larger daycares. She also understands dogs well by responding to their needs and what keeps them calm at a time where animals may be missing their owners. I’ve never experienced a time where I felt my dog was unhappy or at risk which is more than I can say for some other daycares. Definitely 5+++ stars for me!!

Extremely rude! Called this morning to book a self-wash for my dog, as offered on their website. The lady who answered the phone didnt know what a self-wash was, then she stated that they wouldnt be starting that until next week. When I reminded her that it was offered on their website she hung up on me. So, I called back, same lady answered, and again I asked about the self-wash services advertised on their website. She then stated, rudely, we dont do that anymore. To which I responded Then maybe you should update your website and then I hung up on her. Im headed to Bark Slope. Its a bit further, but Im happy to travel for a great experience and customer service.

My Best Buddies has been nothing short then phenomenal with my dog. Not only are they reliable, they take all the necessary measures during COVID-19. They bring the mom and pop aspect to Bay Ridge and are extremely respectful, on time and treat my dog as if he is their own. Please continue to support small businesses like My Best Buddies.

I could not have asked for better care. I have two dogs with health issues and they took amazing care of both of them. Meds were administered at all the necessary times, and they sent me pictures of them and kept me up to date the entire time I was away. I would go back in a heartbeat. These women are fantastic and I felt like I was leaving my little pups with family.

Dogs were barking in the storefront New Year’s weekend. Heartbreaking. No one was in the business around 8 pm. If this was my dog and I was paying to board them, I would call the police.

This place is the best.They treated my dogs like their own family. My dogs had all the spaces to sleep, and run around. I was concerned that might dog might wiggle out of his harness and run away so they let him out in the back for the most part and when he went in the front, he had two leashes on. They fed my dogs organic food and even washed them.I have never had better pet care in my entire life. Super highly recommend.

They have taken care of my dog Milou very well. For 2 hours, Milou had her hair trimmed, washed and dried. She looks like a totally different dog.

You really get what you pay for. Took my dog here for the first time to get full grooming services done on him. Upon dropping my dog off, the groomer never once asked me for his vaccination records, which means to me that they are servicing dogs that are not vaccinated which is against the health law and code. Besides that, only about an hour pass by and the groomer called and told me that she was finished. When I went to pick up my dog, it looked like nothing was done. His eyes was still dirty, he was not brushed, did not get a hair cut, and nails was not trimmed. It looked like all she did was wash him, which is something i couldve did myself. I informed her about how unsatisfied I was and she ended up cutting his hair for me. Fast foward to the next day and my dog has a cut on his thigh. Never will I go here again. It was only $40 for full grooming service but Ill rather pay the $65 for great service than the horrible service I recieved at this groomer.

I bring my dog to My Best Buddies all the time. Everyone there is extremely professional and caring. They actually had a New Year’s Eve party for them. The stuff is really attentive and I trust them with dog’s care.

My Best Buddies is the best boarding place I’ve used. My two dogs love it there. It’s spacious and the staff is caring and friendly. I would not leave them anywhere else. I recommend it highly!

It is not in my nature to post negative revews, but I feel its nesessery to warn people. I brought in my small Yorky for a haircut. I explained the cut that I wanted.They completely disregarded everything that I said. The cut was terrible! Extremely short, choppy and very uneven with gauges cut out. No style at all. He was not washed well and his yes were not cleaned. I called and the lady was very defensive. She did however refund my money.

I have a dog a cat and we board with My Best Buddies constantly since we travel a lot. The best place in Brooklyn!!!Highly recommend.

I called up to see if I needed to make an appointment to get my cats nail trimmed and they said they didn’t do it but on the website it says nail cat trim and the cost is 10 dollars. So false advertisement.

The lady was extremely rude. I asked if I could come in to see how it works and she told me no and slammed the door in my face. I was so confused because there was literally no reason for her to act like that.

Great place to leave your cat or dog. People are the friendliest you want to and very caring. Loved them.

BEWARE CAUTION!!!!!! NOT WHAT YOU THINK, FALSE ADVERTISING. My experience: Called and tried to make a reservation. The woman on the phone was extremely rude and just plain mean. She was scattered about the details of the reservation such as shot records and timing. We made our reservation to drop our dog off around 11:30. On the way to drop off our dog, called again to confirm and the same woman answers the phone and starts screaming at me saying she called multiple times the night before and today(day of drop off). (Wife and I have ZERO MISSED CALLS OR EMAILS) She then proceeds to say that nobody is there to accept my dog, YOUR WEBSITE SAYS 24 hour care!!! Needless to say the shoddy unprofessional customer service caused me to miss my flight. I’m glad this happened because if nobody is there to watch my pup then that is dangerous anyways so good riddance you lost a huge revenue customer that travels every week! That’s at least 7 nights a month of missed revenue for you and your company. BBB has been notified and all other governing bodies possible.

They are so sweet and love the animals. They do a great job.

This was truly an amazing experience 2 sisters 2 dogs and 4 cats? Not sure but the best service. I have the most difficult rescue dog .... that although Shy and timid his tail wagged the whole time!!!!Toby had a great time! Highly recommend and will definitely go back!
