Its a great dog park if youre watching your pups. Fence is easy to escape for smaller dogs. But honestly a wonderful run space for them to let out some dog energy! Go zoom zoom
Spacious enough. Concrete path runs through it and surface is dirt and wood chips. No double gate so slightly risky entry/exit. Alongside a highway/busy thoroughfare so pretty noisy for skittish pups.
This is an amazing dog park that has been fun at all hours but today at about 5:15pm a private security guard came over and told me the park is closed and only open from 9am to 5pm. I asked him who owned the park and he wasnt sure. I just called 311 and filed a complaint as according to NYC city maps, its under the jurisdiction of NYC Parks - does anyone have any info on this park and how it is managed by the parks service?
Cobble Hill Dog Park (aka Van Voorhees or the Amity Street dog run) is a small triangular space on Hicks Street between Amity and Pacific Streets, right above the BQE.My boy Benji loves this place with plenty of room to run around in. Dirt/grass with benches available. Friendly dog owners!
Let them run free! The happiest place for my German shepherd.
Fun place for the pup, but a little dangerous. There is no lock on one of the entrance doors and super close to the highway.
This dog park is really only ok for dogs over 30 lbs. My 25 lbs dog has slid through the fence here three times.
This Dog Park is a nice spot to bring all your dogs and take a nice walk around the Brooklyn neighborhood 🗽🍎🍎🐕🐶🦮🐕🦺😍😍
No frills Brooklyn dog park, only downside is proximity to the highway.
NOT for small or skinny dogs. my dog can slip right through the gate.
Small dog park. Virtually empty. No features.
Big pile of dirt. Could use some love.
My dogs love this place, I like its quiet
Very friendly people with good dogs 🐕
Fun for dogs but requires some improvements
Avoid after the rains, but great views of manhattan.
This is the place for your dog
