Manhattan Beach Dog Run

Took my wife ,kids and their friend to Manhattan Beach Park in Brooklyn,Oriental Blvd near CUNY Kings borough Community College.There were parking available on the streets,but on weekends Saturday and Sunday ,also holidays you cannot park on the streets.There is a parking lot ,where parking is available for $10 during the week.Saturday,Sunday,and holidays it might be a little more.There are benches as you make your way towards the beach ,there are also restrooms and food and drinks for sale.We had a great time ,we brought a tent ,blanket and a chair as we found a spot on the sand to relax.There is also a park near by.Thid is definitely a place you can come relax and get a tan ,while a the beach.

Wasnt too bad, water was a bit cold. Not too much people and some social distancing. Closer than going to Jones Beah. I drove from Bedstuy Brooklyn. 8/6/23 My family and I visited Manhattan Beach again and it was very relaxing, water was cold as usual but my husband and kids still took a dip. There was a good bit of people there, playing music, BBQing. It was a beautiful Sunday well spent. The Price to park over the weekend is a bit pricey though.But say what, its all about spending time with family.

Ive been there before and its nice over there and I would recommend everyone to visit there 😊

Very convenient location and well kept most of the time. Large too!!

Parking is the only real issue. And more frequent grass cutting to prevent ticks and other vermin.

Everything was awesome except for the prices lol. It costs a lot for ice cream toys for the kids

This is my 1st experience at a dog park. My puppy loved it! 2 separate runs, one for small dogs and one for big dogs. The majority of pet owners join the large dog run. Everyone that I have encountered there has been super friendly and has given great advice for training tips!. The park seems clean and there is a drinking fountain for dogs . I do bring a bowl for mine . Will continue to bring my dog!

Small sized so good for just a little exercise. Clean area.

Clean park with gravel, grass and artificial grass in both large and small dog side.. Small dog play area is about 70ft x 50ft and Large dog play area is about 200ft x 50ft.. right next to the beach and ocean with plenty of fresh air.. Regular Dogs and their Human pets are friendly and will gladly help give you extra attention to make the experience welcoming and safe..

There was a condom floating in the water of the beach including other plastic items.

Beautiful- well kept park. We visit just about everyday. Fresh running water available from Spring through through the beginning of the Fall. Nice dogs and nice people.

My fav beach when back home in Brooklyn. Much much much better and much more secluded than Coney Island. So much cleaner.

I love hanging out here and bringing my dog. They have dog water fountains, benches, a hose if needed. Sometimes it gets crowded for the size of the park, and people bring toys (other than balls) and treats, and that can cause some conflict. Otherwise it’s well kept and the people and dogs are cool.

Large clean dog park with separate areas for small dogs and large dogs. Each area has three different ground covering: turf, gravel, and grass. They also each have a dog/people fountain and water hose. Trees provide nice shade, and benches.

My dog’s breed really requires a lot of exercise but my area doesn’t really have any legit dog parks. I’m so happy to learn that there’s a newly renovated dog park around kingsboro/Manhattan beach. It’s super nice, still clean, has both fake and real grass, modern dog water fountains and doggy bags. They’ve divided the space to separate the big dogs from the small dogs. My doggo had a blast.

Clean park! Fun place for the dog. I hope theyve added lights for evening hours, especially during winter when it gets dark quickly.

I love this beach, its the only one I go too...You can fish, bbq, enjoy the water, kids can play in the park, bathroom is open and clean, theres parking for a fee I believe, concession stand and the B49 bus drops you off right in front of the entries. Its the best

Nice multi terrain area for the dogs to run around. There is a park for small dogs and a separate one for large dogs. Theres a doggie water fountain, benches and long hose to use.

My dog loves this park. Two separate large runs, one for smaller dogs, and one for larger. Fresh water available. Well maintained.

Great place for dogs to meet, mine is small while others are giants. This could be a major safety risk if your small dog is off leash, or a major legal issue if your big dog is off the leash.

Great quality dog park. Very clean, decent size, and good terrain. There is a small and all dog area. There are plenty of trees providing shade and options for real grass, fake grass, and gravel.

Great park for dogs. There is a section for small dogs. I have a puppy. And a section for all other dogs. It looks clean, there is water. The dogs can run on grass (fake and real), dirt and gravel.

They did an amazing job with this park. They re-did the whole park and now its an awesome place to bring your dog. They have a place for you dog to drink, and even a hose to spray your dog on a hot day.

We love this dog park. Always clean. Everyone is like a family there.

Beautiful beach clean and less crowded than most Brooklyn beaches mostly because you have to pay for parking.

Hot summer day its the place to be has car park table and benches you can Barbecue there clean up when finish dont forget the beach umbrella and lots of ties its windy

The park itself is nice most people and dogs that come here are also very nice.

This dog run has been completely redone, after being closed for about a year. Now there are side by side runs, one for small dogs and one for large dogs. There are large areas of Astroturf and gravel with areas of fresh grass also. Water stations with hoses and water bottle refill. Really nice setup here.

Other than the fact that I was freezing my butt off its an amazing doggy park 👏👏Now that the weather is getting better its the perfect doggy park to take our loved ones 2!!

I love this dog park because it has a separate space for smaller dogs and now it even has a fountain of drinking water for your dog. The new renovations improved and it is a place for your dog to have fun 😊

Very nice area, grass, artificial grass, and pebbles.Theres a drinking station for dogs as well as a big and little dog areas which are separated.

Nice and clean , well behaved sun worshippers all ways nice people getting along. Beach petrol was on point, cant wait to go again.

The dog run is nice they read it and its very beautifulMost people keep it respectful and clean up after themselves and dont leave a mess which is a good.

Man this is a park Leslie Knope would be proud of. I’m finally pleased that my tax dollars are actually doing something in NY. This is so much better than the old dirt pit that used to be here.

There are two parts. One is for large dogs. The other is for small to medium dogs. Owners are friendly.

The beach was really clean and nice but it closed at 8:30 p.m. we were asked to leave but the white people were not. Whats up with that?

Its been totally upgraded, 2 dog parks for small and larger dogs with water station and garbage bins. Even people who do not have dogs come to watch and pet

Its a great place to go but the concession stand is way too expensive. Walk with your stuff.

The sand is absolutely terrible, in need of a clean as well as the water. The beach water had a floating tampon in it... GROSS!

Currently closed for construction to start in March 2020? Would have been nice if the parks dept updated that on their website. Take a trip out to Rockaway dog run, well worth it.

Its the best beach in NYC... security is perfect. Quite clean and good spaces to grill your barbecue...

It is a very beautiful spectacular place to share with the family.

A clean beach with clear waters and the waves are calm, there are tables and seats to eat quietly, and it has 1 parking lot

Share these beaches with the family, have a barbecue come come, I recommend it, to the administration of this site please an educational campaign so that people do not fill this place with garbage, more cans, lets take care of the environment.

VERY GOOD TO TAKE A DIP AND TO BE A ROASTED MEAT.

The coast guards are very clean, very attentive, especially when the police do their rounds.

Its a fantastic place for the whole family, although I think parking is expensive since many of us travel and we have to spend a lot to enjoy a good time, so I think its just $10
