This is a lovely little dog park, you can tell the locals take care of it and add things to enrich the pups. There is a water dish, lots of tennis balls, a nice tree for shade and plenty of dogs to play with when we came in the daytime on a weekday

My dog loved it. We went there at night so we were the only ones there. Delivered to the restaurant depot on 19th so we had a chance to walk over and it’s better than I expected. There was still water in the cooler and plenty of toys to play with. My dog gets tired quickly tho so we were only there about 30 min. Would def like to go back and visit during the day time with other dogs maybe I’ll get another load going to Brooklyn we shall see.

Great dog park! It’s a dirt park, but perfect for dogs to play. There’s a 5-gallon water cooler always filled!

Its very dusty and can be muddy when it rains, and there is the occasional crazy lady. But its a dog run thats big enough and enclosed and you can find balls sometimes. Seriously its a place full of dogs. Its great.

Theres a group of people who really care about this spot. They volunteer their time and know-how to make it as good as can be for all the dogs and their people. Please help out a bring some water for the barrel.

A little dusty so dont go there if you are afraid of dust. My black shoes turned gray when I was there.

Personally the dog park needs significant upgrades to bring it in line with other Brooklyn dog parks. The whole surface is dirt, so you can expect you and your dog to get a bid dusty/dirty. Water can be hit or miss and I would personally and I do, bring my own. The people I have to say are an absolute joy of a community.

South Slope Dog Run is overall a great dog park. The park is all dirt, so unless it is time to give your furry friend a bath, I wouldnt recommend going after it rains. The park is a bit small, but nice in that you have full visibility of your dog no matter where you are in the park. Our dog enjoyed his time off-leash and had pleasant interactions with the other dogs that were there.

Pretty basic dirt area with a couple picnic tables but it does have water for the dogs. Spacious enough for big dogs to play but not to run.

Nice little dog park in the neighborhood to take your dog for some exercise. There is usually water there in the summer for the pups. The only downside is that there is a lot of dirt and it gets muddy in the rain because there is very little to not grass. But the local community has recently chipped in the buy some topsoil and mulch to help on these issues.

Its pretty small, but its big enough for dogs to run around. Theres a trash receptacle for all kinds of wastes, and a couple of picnic benches under the trees for people to hang out. A majority of the area is full of sand, so it gets dusty. Theres some plants in the perimeter of the dog run, but its not maintained and they grow pretty tall. Theres also no water fountain available, so youll have to bring your own water for your dog. Its pretty clean though, and theres a couple of balls left behind that you can use.

My Pup is almost two years old now. He used to enjoys the park but I definitely do not. A lot of owners don’t consider the fact that their dogs are violent but yet they still bring them to the park. Both times my dog has gotten attacked, neither owner took the initiative to take their dog out of the park.Just a fair warning for people with smaller to medium friendly dogs.

Its a doggie park so the dogs can run free, which is great and they will love it. They need to be off the leash once a while. Even though Prospect Park is nearby, I like having a fenced-in area to let the dogs out. Because theres just a dirt ground here, the dogs will get dusty and dirty... Also bring some water for your dogs.

Small, but really friendly people, and some trees so theyre shade. Theres a 5 gallon water jug there and people bring water to keep the dogs supplied. On weekends there seems to be plenty of parking because its across the street from a school.

Didnt really like it. Its off a busy street. Which just makes me nervous in case a dog ever gets out, theyd run right into traffic. They do have dirt and some grass but no water fountain for dogs so you would have to bring your own water. I had a situation at this park where two people brought toy agressive dogs in and my dog got bit. Not really bad so i didnt make a fuss. There is one bench thats under a treee but its completly dirty from leaves and the dirt surrounding it.

It is definitely nice that this dog run exists, but it is fairly small and always has pools of water -> mud.The whole run is sand, so as soon as there is any rain, you will be bringing a muddy dog back home.

Fantastic park! And by fantastic meaning it’s fairly popular in the mornings and at 6pm. The park NEEDS more moloch. Also it’s right by one of the highways so it’s fairly loud.

Not a bad park. Just enough room for a small group of dogs to run around. All dirt, so our dog got dirty real fast, and when they run, it kicks up everywhere. No real source of water, so definitely bring some water with your doggo.

Decent park run, small but convenient location. Its also long enough for dogs to run around and chase each other. There are picnic tables and benches for people, but be careful, I have seen many dogs pee on them. Additionally, its all dirt/dust, no grass, so your dog may get very thirsty.
