This park is the only dog run in the near vicinity and has been closed for 9 months for a $1m renovation that has absolutely glacial work done on it. we walk by once a week and there is never construction work being done during business hours. appears it mustve cost $10k an hour based on the amount of time spent actually updating it. insane it takes this long and this much city money to repave, add a few benches and put down astroturf.

Too much concrete but a big Improvement. The best that your tax dollars can afford.

Two sided run so dogs can be separated from each other by energy level or size. Its gravel which is pretty dusty but compared to other places they have a doggie water fountain and benches. So i really enjoy it. Also it always seems to be a good crowd of dogs. Never had a bad experience there.

Clean area owners pick up the poop. Just too dusty with the gravel. Grass would be much nicer. We have gone a few times. Just not happy that the areas are not labeled small dog area for the small ones since there’s two areas and a gate. A lot of people come and allow their dogs to run free and open the dividing gate. I have a small dog and he gets trampled by the big ones. Not all dog owners are responsible to watch their dogs. Would appreciate the divider being used better.

Its a dog park so thats one thing. Its a decent option to have around, but I find this park to be maintained less frequently so there are a lot of surprises left for people frequenting this place. The bottom of the fencing is exposed too which Ive seen cut dogs paws when they reach for a ball that slides under. Seating isnt ideal although they do have some. All that said, its better to have the option than not.

There are two dog runs that can be connected by opening a gate. There are water fountains for people and dogs. There isnt any shade here, so in the summer it can be quite miserable. The gravel gets very hot and unbearable for little paws. Even on cool days, with dogs running everywhere, dust flies up from the gravel. You and your dog will get very dirty after visiting. I wish they would either pave this place with asphalt or cover with grass/dirt.

Nice park but the gravel on the ground makes for a butt load of dust and will leave your nice shoes looking ashy. Other than that it is a very good sized area with friendly and conscious dog owners from my experiences.

Its a weird-shaped dog run, filled with rocks and pebbles. Theres only one bench, but thats ok because it doesnt seem to get too busy there. Weve never been the only dog there so thats good at least. Its still an open space where your dog can run off-leash, and the running water dog fountain is nice, so its not the worst.

Has running water for humans and canines. The ground is built and graded in such a way that Ive never seen standing water/mud there. Decent amount of space for dogs to get their zoomies in. Near enough to use the public restrooms at the Stone House. Could use another bench and maybe a bit more greenery, but overall a good spot to get the dogs tuckered out.

We dont come often because my dog hates the rocks lol, and this place is full of em. But otherwise we try to come when its empty (rarely) to avoid more rowdy dogs and overcrowding.

Nice size and layout, but it isnt very well maintained. The gravel bottom causes clouds of dust as the dogs run around. And there are a lot of gaps in/under the fences that need to be patched.

This well-maintained dog run has the added benefit of separate enclosures for small and large dogs. Of course this can be confusing for smol floofs who think they are large (we all know one of these) and absolute units who think they are lap dogs. Benches and water fountain are a plus.

Brought our rescue pup here for the first time and she loved it! Large enough space for your pup to enjoy and small enough for you to keep an eye out.

The fence between the big dog and small dog has a dug hole that most dogs can get under. And they need more trash dispensers.

Small but the dogs seem to like it that way one hour of running back and fourth is good in any area of space. If its good enough for the dogs its good enough for me !!!

Im so glad no one came to kidnap any of the dogs in this incredibly overpriced neighborhood. I bet the dogs eat better in this neighborhood than half of the people in NYC.

The dog community there is very chill and has enough space for aarge size dog to get a good run in.

Decent amount of space for a dog park, however people tend to be bad about picking up after their dogs so avoid the edges of the area

This is a convenient place to take my dogs to play and socialize at the end of a workday (the morning crowd is great too). There are always dogs here of varying sizes which means theres a dog always ready to play.
