Martin is really a genius with dogs. My dog is not always the best behaved and when we got a cat, I was worried that our house would forever be a battle zone. Martin stepped in and solved the problem. Now, although they don’t love each other, they can nap 2 feet from each other no problem. Martin is also the best in an emergency. There have been more times than I can count when something has come up and we have to leave quickly for a few days. Martin is always reliable and when I get his text, “no problem,” I know that he’s got me. I give my highest recommendation to Doggy Dojo!

When we first adopted our puppy, my partner and I were thrilled! BUT THEN, we realized (very very quickly) that we didnt know the first thing about dog ownership. The trill of having a puppy was ... less thrilling. Lucky for us, Doggie Dojo came to our aid.Working with Martin at Doggie Dojo has truly been a game changer. Weve learned so much about this whole dog thing. Martin coached us through the early days of puppy parenting: leash training (no more pulling!), socialization w/other pups, home training etc.Doggie Dojo has also been a necessary & continued resource, because turns out, you never stop learning as a dog parent! As new things come up, Martin has answers. Example: at the beginning of the pandemic when we realized that masks scared our dog and made him a bit unhinged in public, Doggie Dojo was there and voila -- no more lunging at strangers.On top of all of that, Doggie Dojo is a great dog sitting option. Every time we leave our pup, he comes back happy, better behaved and with a new trick to show off.I cannot recommend Doggie Dojo enough for new and seasoned pet owners alike!

We have a high-strung, neurotic 12 pound Chihuahua mix and an 80 pound Mastiff mix with some leash reactivity. Martin came to meet the dogs and assured us that they would be fine. We dropped them at the front door of Doggie Dojo and within ten minutes had a video of our dogs hanging out with his pack of 5 other dogs. At the risk of sounding hyperbolic, Martin IS a dog whisperer. Except that he barely talks to the dogs. He communicates with them in a mysterious language that puts all the dogs at ease. He sent photos and videos of our guys daily. He was flexible when our flights were cancelled and our return delayed by two days. As any dog owner knows, finding care for them while on vacation is stressful. Martin has become an integral part of helping us to manage our lives because when our dogs are with him, we havent a care in the world. I couldnt be more pleased with my experience with Doggie Dojo. Boarded Josie for 4 nights and got lots of updates and pictures. A homey, comfortable environment, lots of backyard fun and expert training. Will not hesitate to have my pup stay again!
