I had the pleasure of working with Joshua Latour to train my puppy, and the results have been outstanding. Joshuas use of positive reinforcement and straightforward, effective training methods have molded my puppy into a well-behaved and delightful companion. His expertise and dedication are evident in every session. I highly recommend Joshua for anyone seeking a skilled and compassionate dog trainer.

Working with Joshua and Walk n roll was the best decision ever. We were struggling to take our 6 month old puppy on walks without ending up with new bruises. Joshua worked with us and our pup to have great leash manner and we learned how to read our pups body language. Even when we were done with our dogs training sessions Joshua made sure to leave us with a ton of information and an open door incase we had even more questions or needed more sessions. I cannot recommend Joshua enough.

Joshua is the best! We had a need for a dog trainer for our 10 week-old puppy and he provided excellent one-on-one training support with loads of materials to set our dog up for success in the city. We learned so much as he helped us achieve our training goals. We are very grateful for his experience with dogs, his background with the Karen Pryor Academy and the course instructions he provided as Puppy Start Right instructor. We now feel extremely confident since we not only struggled with the basic puppy problems, but he also gave us tons of preventative measures to help our dog feel more relaxed in our bustling Brooklyn neighborhood. He also provides board and training services upstate when we were in need of a little break! Cant recommend him enough!

Joshua is a wonderful trainer and I cant recommend his services enough. He encourages you to be really hands on in the training sessions and leaves you with so many practical tools to keep your pup on track. Weve seen great progress!

Ive lived in Brooklyn for 20 years and Joshua has the most amazing dog service Ive ever worked with. The dogs all love him, he has a gentle loving energy with them, even when training. I never have to worry because I know Chewie is in the best hands possible. They also have been really cool with a few last minute schedule changes because of work. Just a pleasure to work with.

WalknRoll’ bespoke stay & train proved to be exactly what I needed to get my Ali on the the right track. It also provided the tools and knowledge to understand my puppy. At 4 months she was bursting of uncontrolled energy compounded with some anxiety. She had seen all her 7 litter mates leave over a 10 day period as soon as everyone got to an age to be adopted, and stayed with me her foster now adopter. Her training was tailored to her behavior and her energy level. I am forever grateful as I know this was the best upfront investment in our hopefully long term story ! Now she is getting to her teenage phase I will not hesitate to have walknroll guide me again with a few sessions. I have also recommended joshua to my Ali’s siblings. That is how much I trust him and his techniques based on positive reinforcement and association. It just works.

Walk n Roll was our second dog walking company in Brooklyn to work with after moving neighborhoods. Joshua and his team are attentive to their clients dogs needs and super professional, consistent, and reliable. Our dog is shy and not very social with other humans/dogs besides her owners, but she will always point out Joshua or another dog from her pack walks at our nearby park!

We had a wonderful experience working with Joshua to train our new 5 month old puppy. He spent time really getting to know our dog and what he needed help with. From there he gave us the tools we needed to reinforce his positive behavior using clicker training and it really worked. Highly recommend!

I frankly can’t imagine a better dog walking service than Walk N’ Roll! Josh and his team are caring, conscientious, fun people who are genuinely invested in the well being of our dog. Theyve really gotten to know our dog, and have given helpful advice on training and behavior a number of times! They were definitely a big factor in helping him go from an unruly little pup that was pulling and couldn’t walk in a straight line to a (mostly) well-behaved adult. With a puppy it can be hard to leave your dog home during the day, but Walk N’ Roll gave us peace of mind with a text and picture for every walk. As an example of our dog’s positive associations with Walk N’ Roll, there have been multiple times where he’s spotted another dog at the park, gone absolutely nuts wagging his tail greeting it, and then we realized it was one of his buddies in his Walk N’ Roll crew! In any case, if there’s openings, we couldn’t recommend Walk N’ Roll enough.

Josh is an incredible dog trainer! When our pup had a major surgery, his behavior regressed. Josh helped us get him back on track! He also boarded our dog while we went on vacation, and when we came back, walks were a dream. Big improvements! We look forward to working together more in the future.

The team at Walk n Roll works very hard to create strong and reliable professional relationships with pets and their owners. Its very valuable to me to have a trustworthy dog carer when I am on long trips away, and the Walk n Roll walkers took care of my pet and respected my home while on long term stays. I really appreciate the constant communication and updates whether its a regular workday walk, or a long tern sit.

Walk N Roll really went above and beyond for my pup Misty since day 1. She is a very shy dog who was nervous about meeting new people (particularly men), scared to deviate from our regular path to the park, and wouldnt go potty anywhere else. Josh was happy to accommodate Mistys needs and have their first meeting be in our apartment where she is most comfortable and we went on a little walk with her together to get her acclimated. The team was great about giving me daily updates and pictures, and after a week or so of their walks together I noticed Misty was more open to new paths, and going to the bathroom outside the park. Highly recommend!

Love the team at Walk n Roll! They looked after and walked our dog right up until our move. Always felt like our dog was in great hands and would be looked after. Would recommend to all dog owners as caring + local alternative to larger walking services, apps, etc.
