Friends Field

There is a good childrens playground on the territory of the fields. This place is very calm, there are no big roads nearby, it suits very well for walking with toddlers.

This is a huge park but thats all it is-huge. The playground is small and its just a bunch of empty land. It would be nice if they did some renovation to this place to make it a better park and up to date with the other parks in Brooklyn. It has so much potential for such a huge area.I said opinions of the playground, dog friendliness, and picnic area below but it would be better if there was an actual renovation on the park itself. Making the baseball field an actual baseball field would be nice since on the map they state one side is soccer but both the sides are baseball fields and one looks like it hasnt been used in over 5 years. Theres a football field but you cant go in it for some reason and could be used as a good place to practice football and soccer. A dog run installed would also be nice since theres a good amount of free area and theres a lot of dog owners that live nearby.

Grass is back. Trees overgrown. Some water features work.

Cute little park in Brooklyn. I love how theres a small section for the kids to play and a field where you can watch sports. It is especially nice at night when the sun goes down and you see the train passing through the field. One of my favorite Brooklyn spots 😍

Can I make barbecue and small birthday party outdoor in the park ?

We always liked to visit this playground. We also came for walks with children in the evenings until the last moment, when a couple of weeks ago they started to turn off the lights on the playground without any explanation. We contacted the park workers, and no one knows anything, we sent a complaint to 311, but for several weeks now, no one has responded. Why turn off the lights on the playground? It is not safe.

It is pretty decent. However, it could use more things for kids. Especially the sprinklers. They need more big kid swing sets, for there is not enough of them. As well as a picnic area and restrooms 🚻 to be available for them.

Great park to take my toddler. It gets a bit hot in the summer w/o shade on the equipment. The water toy makes it fun for the kids to stay cool. Friendly people. Around the play area is a wide open space. We did science with acorns and squirrels. Another family joined. Great experience. Well be back next season.

A Good place for picnic 🧺 and activities for kids.

Due to renovation I had to give 4 stars I have not gotten the full experience or to explore the boundaries of this neighborly public park yet. They have a football pitch with artificial grass and a great tennis court in which Ive came across.I was told that they will create a majestic play field for the little one to be happy too which will contribute to more children taking part in actual activities(no video games) because our children really need to go out and take a little fresh air and also burn the surplus calories in which they obtain by consuming all those glycerol and 3 fatty acids after fast food consumption.

I had a lot of fun with a unknown dog.

Been going to friends field since 1977. nice quiet place to get some sun and to do meditation. started bringing my fiancé here two years ago she loves it.

Very good play ground in the area. Whole family can have fun togather. Huge grass area to play ⚽ and there is a tennis court , swings for young children as wel as for big kids. Can get planty of sun . slides. Good for small picnics.

Great place to take your kids out for game playing. This place a lot of empty green grass area where a baseball game or socer, or football game can be played. Theres also kids park area. I love this place and highly recommend it.

Really nice, it was built not too long ago and is normally filled with a lot of families from different countries.Very nice place to go for a walk, play soccer, etc.

They lock the bathrooms at 3:30 pm in the Spring,when most of the park was full!! I called my local representative to complain about it.

It was a large beautiful area with lots of room for kids of all ages to run around. Lots of seating, too. Not much shade though

Though I didnt get to use it, due the fact I was working the Election and it was pouring down raining like a monsoon. It looked well cared for.

Mostly a small park, they do have places gberallyfor children, but the only large part are the fields which unlike the park is fairly large

Been going here since I was a child. The only nice park with grass until you go to Central Park in Manhattan . This park needs more trees and grass

Discovered this park yesterday and now I am back. Absolutely perfect oasis with ple ty of space, very peaceful

The park is spacious, but there equipment is getting old and needs to be replaced. also the fields are usually taken over by organized sports

Not the best park but okay. Small, only has two baseball fields, one of which is full of grass. There is a sprinkler and playground area.

The playground and sprinkler are nice. The fields are in need of upkeep...the grass is not very comfortable to sit on.

The park is in middle of being renovated, some of the fields are still open, but theyre not in great condition, hope the renovation fixes all those issues

Moderate place where amigos go to play soccer. There is also a gang of disrespectful football players, youre unlikely welcome there unless of course youre one of them. (or really good at soccer or football)

This is a great specious Park with some upgraded equipment.

This is NOT a dog park! I dont know why this comes out when searching for a dog park. However its a very big grassy park. Ideal for those who want to bring their dogs on a long leash. But other than that its not enclosed. Has restrooms and water fountain and benches!
