Really nice park! Well-kept & has plenty facilities. It has tennis courts (11), basketball courts, turf ground, track & open field, handball courts (2 walls, 3 courts on each side), a playground, a water play area & picnic spots. Basically, its got something for all interests & all ages!!
Nice large park. Has 2 large playground for kids. Tennis courts and baseball field. On some days its just nice to walk around and see The greenery of the trees and the grass. getting away a little bit from The hectic City Life and being in nature is relaxing. Please keep the park clean. Enjoy.
One of the few places in New York that you can casually join In a cricket game! Awesome park central and pivotal in the community. Lincoln Terrace and Arthur S. Somers park is a much needed oasis in the busy bustling community
I highly recommend checking out this place its a perfect blend of luxury and modern living. The buildings sleek design, top-notch technology, and elegant atmosphere create a truly exceptional experience. Its a fantastic choice for those seeking a reliable and convenient lifestyle.
Beautiful large park with tennis courts play area for small children with picnic chairs for them. Clean restroom. Sprinkler water area for the children, which they had an amazing time getting wet. Everyone came home exhausted. Thank you Lincoln terrace Park
Amazing place to go to with family and friends most of all I love that it have multiple section for multiple activities
I like coming here with the kids weve been coming here since we were on the lockdown, and hardly anybody was out and about, I would bring them here because it s walking distance from my house. I just like the open space and the different parts where the kids could run around they can roll in the grass and not be bothered by anyone. And now my son loves skating, so there is a big area where he can skate around, not bumping into stones and sticks and other people, I like it.
Its a wonderful park to take ur kids very clean there also 😃
The park could be cleaner, however I really like that fact that it has various aspects--very nice play ground, handball/netball courts, chess/checker tables, lots of benches and a section where there is a painted baseball diamond and two-lane track. Im not sure of the distance for the track, but I think its less than a quarter mile. While Betsy Head is under construction, this is a fair enough option to get laps in.
Love the tennis courts. This park features water sprinklers of different types in the kids play ground. Open fields, plenty of seating areas to hang out. I love walking my dog here
The park has been redone recently. It is very nice. There are various activity centers for kids to play on.
We went on a hot summer day and the sprinklers were on and the park was clean. Not crowded at all. Its a large park full of trees and brekky newly renovated kids section.
A nice green area to go for a stroll and get your heart rate up by walking the hills. My kids love the playground area and even their daycare uses this park for family picnics. The tennis courts are nice to play on (if you can get one) and well maintained. A gem.
Kids play ground is new an great for younger and older kids. Big thumbs up compared to what it was like before the new updates.
Newly made over big clean park located in Crown Heights brooklyn new york. You can get to via B15,B47,and the number 4 and 3 Trains.
I took my pet to the park. The park needs more police patrol and a face lift.
They are renovating this park in all the best ways. More seating, cleaner walkways, more flowers.
This park is were I spent most of my childhood from ages 6 -20 years. I love and will always remember this park
The pay ground has been updated. its very nice.
I went to a black vegan festival, a beautiful time, and great food , very informative event
I Love this park! Feeding folks feels good! It will be even better next year!
Very nice recreational area with multiple tennis courts a baseball field basketball courts just wows you and apparently theres skating rink i guess to substitute losing empire skate rink which was a positive place for the children to be
Very green, filled with nature, plenty of open space for relaxation. Place for basketball playing, running, and volleyball.
The playground doesnt really cater to big kids. Its more for toddlers and little kids. My 8 year old was bored with the short slides and the swing. The park is lovely, the river is beautiful, but smelled awful in one spot, not sure if it was due to the folks that were there or the river itself.
Arthur S. Somers Park is a beautiful and peaceful place to spend time. The park has plenty of entertainment for everyone, including walking paths, playgrounds and sports fields. I really like running here. In my opinion, the park becomes especially beautiful in autumn. I highly recommend this park to anyone looking for a relaxing holiday.
Went here 4/1/23 with a couple friends to pick up some garbage. I’ll say compared to other nyc parks, this place was super clean. we were told that an area of the park opened up within the last few weeks, and that may explain the cleanliness. we found a few spots where someone left their dog poop… unfortunately we stepped in that while getting some garbage behind the trash can. There were grills, courts, lawn space, and a playground! I’m excited to return to the park.!!!Warning!!! there was a lot of broken glass on the grass. So please be mindful of that!
Ive spent time here on and off over the last 15 years and it has changed quite a bit but always for the better. We have a lot of good memories and I hope it keeps getting better and better for the neighborhood families. Last time we were her we felt very safe and it was good to see all of the kids playing together, people working out, and dogs walking through here. It was always a rule of thumb to not walk through here after dark though, Im not sure if its still that way.
Nice Park, very cleaned and well organized
Enjoyed the surroundings except for the spotted lantern flys in the trees.
My daughter loves this park because its spacious, lots to do, she always makes friends and has the water. I love it because of the greenery and its mostly clean. I gave it 3 stars because of the disgusting teenagers that feel they need to come and be disrespectful with their gyrating and profanity. People please raise your kids correctly
Large Park with lots of trees plus plenty of exercise and sports spaces.
There is a nice park for the kids to play, and sufficient seating for their parents/supervisors. There are 4 basketball courts, an area for cricket, an area for lawn tennis (hard court), an area to exercise, a few places for walking your dog, etc. I visit almost on a daily basis whenever Im staying in the area.
Great tennis, padel ball, handball, and basketball courts. Clean and fun for everyone. Dog area, swings, and playground spacious
Huge park and the fitness area helps people with health and keeps kids out of trouble.
One of the best parks in NYC !!
Lincoln Terrace Park can make you forget youre in Brooklyn. Its a great local park to enjoy for all members of the family. Theres tennis, cricket, a playground, a track, a baseball field, a playground with sprinkler and BBQ/picnic area with grills, tables and chairs. Its easy to get to and Parks Department does an amazing job keeping up with the cleaning. Only thing I wish they would monitor more are the restrooms. They always seem to be in really poor condition.
Startlingly beautiful on Eastern Parkway, this park rivals any park in Manhattan. It is entered from Eastern Parkway on one level, then descends to lower levels. There is a childrens playground, rest rooms, basketball courts, handball courts, a workout area and even a baseball field. What more recent park has a baseball field? Very peaceful, beautifully designed. Brooklyns got it!
The renovations are done and the park looks amazing and just in time for spring.
I went to the big open grassy empty area with a group of 10 kids ranging from ages 2-4 years old. They had so much fun just running around in the open field.....Today I went back to the park with kids ranging in ages 3 & 4 year olds. We went to the playground. The kids had so much fun. They redid the playground and theres a lot of things to do at this beautiful spacious playground.
Had a cool breeze, nice shade & was able to read in peace. A nice family park.
Lincoln Terrace playground!Modern and updated park for the kids and other recreational use.
We use this park recently for my nieces 7th birthday. It was very clean and well maintained. I just wish they had more garbage cans available. The children didnt seem to notice this at all. They enjoy running around and being kids!
Amazing newly renovated playground for all ages
Its a great experience to go with your children.its cleans and I wo
Went watch my nephew play soccer, the field is nice but the dog poop was a bit much.
Very nice very clean place
This is a great place to bring your pets and children. A nice family park. This was my first time coming to this park I met with a friend that I havent seen in years who recently moved back to New York we had a wonderful time in the park. The park was clean and I felt safe. It is close to public transportation too so you can get back to the city which is what I did after visiting the park. I will definitely come here again with friends to meet up.
Beautiful park close to home.... Been going to this park for as long as I can remember...
The playground was recently renovated and is amazing now. Its safe and offers different skill levels for the different age groups. There are multiple ball courts for older kids and adults. There are trails suitable for biking etc. Picnic areas, something for everyone.
Amazing park! High-quality jungle gym, sprinklers.Bathrooms are horrendous, tiptoeing around puddles of urine and toilet overflow, the womens room was locked and women were forced to use the gross mens room. 🤢People smoking in the jungle gym area while theres kids around.
Absolutely love it , very Beautiful and lots of fun .a lot to get into , skate rentals available, on the weekends from 1-6pm on the weekends. This park is big enough for everyone to enjoy them selves.
The park is a good size and was great fun for children of all ages.
Loved it! Sorry I hadnt visited this park earlier. Been living in Canarsie BK for 21 years and never went to this park til today. lts only about 15 mins away by car on the other side of town. Great park for the whole family! Lots of ground to cater to various demographics. Will definitely visit it again this summer.
Nice place to workout, jog or enjoy some greenery buy today was the Labor Day Parade Breakfast and wow was it fantastic. Its the first time in 2 years Scince the last full Labor Day Parade. This is just a pre event to the full celebration 🍾 Everyone was in attendance and it was a blessing to be able to attend such a prestigious event. I was honored by the whole experience. Enjoy the Labor Day experience I know I did and thats a fact. Blessings to all I hope these photos does the event some kind of justice. I am sure I missed many people but I did get some great shots of most of the attendees.Peace Love and respect 🙏 ❤️👍
Amazing recent renovation brought new equipment and landscaping. Swings for babies and kids, lots of cool climbing equipment, slides, for big kids and toddlers. The kids couldnt get enough. Just a shame the bathrooms were closed when we went on a Sunday afternoon...
Sort of quiet at night, especially when its below freezing. Ive been there maybe three times now and the same each time: a few guys were able to join in some non verbal conversation but in general, most there seemed too shy or were walking too fast to be able to stop, engage, and converse, non verbally. And they didnt seem to appreciate me at all. Why was that?
The park has so many activities. They have a kid playground, a basketball court, a football field, a handball court, and a open field. You can walk your dog, have a picnic or do yoga. I will say that some of the children in the park werent nice, and a parent wasnt in the play area.
Well I stumbled into the quaint and in the cut terrace. I believe it was just finished and the spot is clearly for the tenants. But open to all!!
Was there for Roller Skating event. Very active and well lit park for most part. Did have some dark shady parts but people seemed more concerned with themselves. Lots of grounds. Will go back in day probably to enjoy whole park.
I grew up in this park. Good the bad the ugly.. nice to see the ugly is gone. Up to code. Clean. Modern. My son loves the upgrades! I would suggest friendly patrol INSIDE the park vs camping out at the entrances. Our park unfortunately is bordered by 4 adult mens mental facilities. Unlike some of the smaller parks in the area, Lincoln Terrance for obvious reasons is not closed gated to discourage unwanted guest. In my opinion the FRIENDLY patrol could promote trust in your youngest neighbors. Just a thought. Happy trails👣
Its a little walk from my Apt but its nice and relaxing and plenty of activities for all ages,if you havent visited it yet you missing out.
Its not a big park but its convenient to sit down and relax. Theres a little hot spot for your kids though to sit down and let them play around. They could go on the swings get wet on the sprinklers when its hot outside there is a bathroom and they are renovating something new there idk what it is yet! but it should be for the public benefit. You can even play basketball, tennis (sports section) at the park.
Since they have done it over. It has opened up the community to become more diverse. It was diverse before however with the park being done over I personally seen children of different race socializing. Playung tag and working out. Giving children things to actually do on the playground. Love the park. Over due.
Beautiful, expensive park with large and fun play structure. Older kids that play there are sometimes very wild. Voilentt crimes are also committed here, and you can see homeless people sleeping on benches all over - doesnt feel very safe.
Hey this is a pretty cool park. Very big for a wide range of activities. If you catch some of the events that go on during the summer days. You can have a pretty fun time for little to no money at all. They also have basket ball hoops, kids play ground with jungle Jims. Spinkler, and plenty of 🌲 for shade. Hey let me not forget my favorite. The workout section for you work out heads. Yea all in all great park. Not to far from you.
Been going her over 20sumptin years upgrades nice. Glad they kept the handball courts.
Great park in the heart of Brooklyn. Relatively clean and just underwent a well needed upgrade to the kids section. There is a section to play tennis, basketball, handball, run track, cricket, soccer and lots of other sports. Nice area for quick walk amongst trees.
It was pretty crowded,I did feel safe due to the patrol car sitting in the park though and that matters alot, for the most part people and kids had they mask on,so Id say it was a good experience
This park is amazing. We came for a festival and decided to go to the playgroud after. Were traveling all the way from Harlem by train and i promise it was worth every moment. This was one of the best park ive been to in nyc. Its huge, super clean, and extremely interactive. Everything is the perfect size for them.
I had my sons birthday party here. lts a nice, clean park, however there were NO bathrooms. This was Sunday at 12pm. They need at the very least PortAPotties. I understand the park is under construction but I had to drive 10 minutes back home to let my guest use the bathroom several times.
I ACTUALLY REALLY APPRECIATE THIS PARK!
Its easily accessible via all most means of transport. Its a nice place to bring the children, infants kan krawl without injury via supervision, tennis courts, basketball courts with plenty trees & grass for nature lovers and for family gatherings/BBQ jams, etc....
The park is under construction, but the playground is done and open. The children seem to enjoy that playground. The baseball field isnt maintained well. All in all lincoln terrace park is okay.
This Lincoln Terrace Park, aka Buffalo Park, has come a long long way and is very enjoyable. Not to mention its safety has improved 1000%
A nice peaceful park
Its a nice place but if your child needs to use the bathroom then youre out of luck. Dogs are loose here too but the equipment is sturdy and fun.
It was nice and chill. I went with my friend and we saw so much dogs which we love. The environment was calm and soothing, I have to go back again.
More attention needs to be placed on keeping the park clean. Bathrooms exist however they are always closed... therefore they dont really exist. Persons have to relieve themselves (outside) in the open area. Not good..
Beautiful George M. Olmstead-designed park on the edge of Crown Heights and Weeksville. Brand new playground, splash pad picnic areas for kids and adults and a nice green. Tennis and handball courts, a baseball field, actual working bathrooms. Lots to like.
Takes up an entire city block. Great for jogging, biking , lounging, amazing childrens playground. Has a little bit if everything. Once youre inside you cant hear any street noises.
Loved this park, great for kids, adults, pets, sports
Beautiful playground, handball courts, both hard and softball fields picnic area close to transit and stores. Bathrooms and dog friendly
The park was lovely, clean and safe environment. My event went smoothly and my guests were very pleased. Will definitely be using it for future events. We even recommended this park to friends.
Great playground for kids. My kid didnt want to leave. There were so many areas for him to play and it was clean. Ill definitely take him back when Im in the neighborhood.
It is a beautiful park(since the renovation) and close to home. My neighbor and I have been walking our dogs in the park for well over a month. We enter the park on Rochester and Crown. Unfortunately, the garbage is constantly overflowing and it was littered with firework and other debris. When I went to the park on 7/16/20, I noticed a dead cat. I spoke with one of the park workers and she stated that she would take photos and send it to the appropriate people that handle dead animals. Today is 7/19/20 and as of 7:30am, the cat is still in the park. I called 311 to alert them of the parks condition. This is unsanitary!
Quite possibly the best playground in all of New York City. And it’s not on any of the best playground lists. The only thing is people need to put their trash in the trash cans. There needs to be some kind of campaign encouraging people not to litter because this is an unusual amount of litter here. I encourage others to throw away the trash that they see, as I often do, to make the park safer for young children.
This park is beautiful, spacious and clean. They have several different play areas baby swings alsoBig kid swings(which are rare in most local NYC parks). There are basketball courts, tennis courts, places to work out, oh and a cute whale sprinkler.
FUN FOR ALL. PEOPLE ENJOYING LAUGHTER CHEERS AND PURE HAPPINESS.. LETS ALL TAKE TIME THIS SPRING AND SUMMER AND JUST LOVE EACH OTHER. NO COVID NOTHING TO STOP US ALL. LAST YEAR WAS JUST JUST THAT LAST YEAR!!!!!!! ENJOY THE LOVE ILVU
I be playing basketball here, fun as hell
The renovations look great and theres a lot less people smoking during daylight hours so its nice that you can actually bring your kids. I guess all of crown heights agree because its super crowded.
Great 0lace to catch some sunlight.
This was a great park to work out in or take your children/child to but there have been some robberies/ beatings in there that many people stop going in there. The park is scary to go into by yourself without looking around and watching who walking/hanging out in there!😱
Great picnic spaces, great for sun bathing and grounding also has playground area good for a nice walk or biking.
Nice place visit
Born & raised in brooklyn i always liked this park because it has all the attributes o most big parks without haven to get lost in it. Plenty o greenery in fact the day i visited my family & i decided to eat out for Sunday dinner & we had a picnicin this very park rt under the big oak tree. Benches, play space w basketball & handball courts all within the square block radius. Its really a gorgeous park. Hopefully you will enjoy it like i do.
Very spacious & beautiful..The children has a enough fun placesSame for adults...I go with for picnics with my family there. I also go there for morning exercises atimes..Trust me, you ll love the place..👍
I love this park. Its easily accessible and safe since the police are constantly on patrol. It also is under construction in the childrens section. Completely being remodeled. I cant wait to see the finished look.
Expansive Park with rich history. I would take my runs here, play with my kids here, do yoga here, and have picnics. I led meditations here as well. I love the energy
Let me tell u, yes! My entire family love the new water area and kids play ground. Its a must on your summer places to visit in Brooklyn! My daughter love it here!
I was there for the West Indian Day Parade on Labor Day. The park is very clean. Especially the bathrooms. I was so shocked. Usually park bathrooms are really disgusting. The New York City Parks and Recreation staff was very courteous and if I lived in Brooklyn I would go to the spark all the time.
Nice park. My only concern was when two cops tried to ticket me for walking through the park after the sun went down. I am not sure if the cops were just trying to mess with me. The park offers alot of attractions especially netball on some nights.
Chair Massages in the park at an health fair, relaxing services and health information for the community.
Beautiful and u can have so much fun
I have played tennis for 2 years now & its a very nice place to sit & meet incredible human beings 🎾
The baseball field is horrible and is in need of a lot of repairs. It is sad that the park department doesnt really care about taking of the field. It could of great advantage for the kids who actually would love to explore baseball. These is not fair to the neighborhood nor his kids. Invest in our neighborhood. Fix the parks
Improved walkways and updated playground equipment gives this park a great feel. Great place in the community.
I love the food and it smells and tastes very good, but soon I left 5 mins later I was throwing up and was sick for 2 days. I wont eat there anymore. The place and restroom were very clean l, friendly people and kind.
LINCOLN TERRACE IS A KOOL PLACE TO DO A LOT OF THINGS , THEY HAVE A REBUILT PLAYGROUND FOR THE KIDS VERY NICE, A SPOT TO PLAY TENNIS, A BASEBALL FIELD THAT NEEDS TO BE REDONE, A BASKETBALL COURT, AND A WORKOUT AREA FOR PULL UPS, DIPS, AND A WHOLE COMMUNITY TO SHARE WITH AND TALK TO, BUT DONT BE OVER THERE LATE AT NIGHT THEIR IS RIFF RAFF, AND WORSE RACCOONS..
We waited 2 years for them to finish and it was WELL worth the wait!! they did an awesome job for Brownsville and I really hope they keep it that way!! we needed a nice park over here!!
Great neighborhood park. Well maintained and landscaped. Baseball field, basketball courts, volleyball courts, handball, track for running, large playground for kids with sprinklers. Lots of space to workout! I love this park!
Really nice park, was recently renovated and they did an amazing job. The have a great section for 2-5 years old that helps build strength and coordination. Check it out if your in the area.
Just be very careful . Lots of event happens there like after wedding picture taking. Be at alert ,do nor leave your child there alone .Even adult should be at alert there too.
Locals frequently visit this area, even the gentrificators come here to enjoy tennis all times of the night,,, imagine playing tennis at 2am
Lincoln Terrace is a great park for people of all ages. Grown up can go there to unwind after a tough day or recreation and kids have a lot of fun areas.
I am new the park i am not from the community my 2 year daughter lives in this sector so I take her their it is fixed up really nice I like the fact that it as a lot of apparatuses that give the little one to test their balance however what I dont like is the water section is right in front of the park entrance between the kids throwing water balloons and wind blowing water in your face its a great park .....
Nice park in the daytime. Great to walk dogs. Childrens play ground currently under renovations. At night u should not be in this park alone. No the safest place.
Safe environment for kids, the restrooms are clean and theirs a nice park as well
I grew up in this park. I dont find it to be safe at all!!!! I use to train early mornings there n there was too much going on.
The park is clean, lots of activities for children to do, nice sections for kids to play.
I love this park but in the back of my mind I know its in a dan neighborhood. Last month a older male was struck my a straight bullet and killed. I do my morning runs there because of the hills, stairs and greenery. But I do worry
Nice park to bring your kids. The frequent you are here with kids your bound to meet a child parent if your kids are playing with them. Mostly friendly people with kids come here. Just watch your kids if your name is Bebe. Lol
They need to complete the children play section its going on 3 summers now since they took it apartmy daughter used to love this park!I wonder if this park was Manhattan how fast the work would have been completed
Lincoln Terrace in the beautiful place but if you going to spend the money wisely everything else in the park you need to fix up the basketball courts do the ground get some fiberglass Backwoods to make the place look nice like you make everywhere else in the park look nice so the kids will feel good about coming out playing on the courts because thats one of the reasons why they dont come out because it dont look nice
Good place to get out the house and let your kids just run free as long as you can keep up. Children enjoy the park
Blackveg fest was the greatest. Entertainment, delicious healthy vegan food, variety of free gifts & purchases. 6 portable places with soap, running water, paper towels. Lots of fun etc, etc.
One of the best parks in Brooklyn. Kid friendly they have a nice park and water park and open to community.
Weve always loved going here. Gets crowded sometimes, but still nice.
This park is one of my favorite places in Crown Heights. From sports facilities, to kids spaces, to curated lawns and walking paths, this park has something for everyone.
The Park is really nice. The picnic table and area are a good place to send with the family.
Nice playground for kids.geared more toward fitness than just running around and playing. lots of stuff to climb and some to help kids learn balance and coordination.nice sprinklers too.
A crown heights jewel with tennis courts, a running track, workout area, dog park and numerous walkways for a tranquil romantic walk. One of my absolute favorite things about living in crown heights especially this part where the community is still intact and displacement has still been kept at bay thankfully!
This could be a great park if unfavorable characters didn’t take up so much of inside and the perimeter of the park. Most times I visit I do not feel same.
Was there for a roller skating event. It was pretty nice and it was at night, park well lit and there was no police presence and nothing went wrong the young and the old was out and everyone one enjoyed themselves
My wife and I have been frequenting this park since elementary school...and now we cant even afford to rent or buy the very same neighborhood that we grew up in.with that said the park has recently been renovated and it looks gr8.
Could use some cleaning grass cut but a very nice park for family and sports.
I call this the mini Central Park of Crown Heights! The landscape is amazing with so many huge full trees and the hills are excellent for fitness! My favorite spot in Crown Heights!
It a great place to take your family for hangout, nice shades from the sun and the water park is amazing for the kids. They have really nice tennis
Park just got a total makeover. The water sprinklers, swings and more play stations are just right for the summer break. Suitable for all ages.s
Very nice part but right now the park is under construction the only part thats open to the public right now is the general Park which is nice to sit around with the kids maybe have a little picnic and the basketball courts in the workout courts are open
I Live near this Park in Crown Heights. It is larger than it looks and has a Basketball Court, Jogging Trail, Handball a Kiddie Park; a Forest and Benches located throughout the Park. The Trees an Lawns are Beautifully Manicured! Lincoln Tettace is One of Crowns Heights Best kept Secrets!!
I always enjoy it here. Theres lots and lots of children and lots of space. Its a local park and alot of the neighborhood families go to that park.
Its very big, spacious and cleanHas different sections for different age groups. Have seatings, washrooms and police presence from time to time.
Love this park relaxing
This is the best park in the nation bring it or go home only the strongest of the strongest survives. If your a product of this park you are a well rounded basketball player. Home of the Pacesetternation basketball club.
Good people from parks dept keeping this park clean, very grateful
I like this park because there are many options....for example tennis, basketball, baseball, workout, playground for the children, handball, or just picnicking at the top entrance area on the grass or BBQing in the table areas......not far from stores icy carts are always there as well as the ice cream truck.....or just walkthrough for a peaceful stroll along their pathways.
Beautiful park everything you need for your family and friends. This park have some of the best Handball courts in the city ( 5 Boroughs) Brooklyn, Queens, Bronx, Manhattan & Staten island.
Not the place I grew up with- love how they’ve revitalized this park.
This is my childhood park it changed so so much i miss the pool, monkey bars and the see saw the good old days. They did not up grade the bathrooms and water fountain they should of.
Its a nice park to bring the kids during the day and watch them play for a bit. A good place to relax.
This park is convenient for the neighborhood sandwiched between the #3 (Sutter/Rutland) and the #4 (Utica) There is a Walgreens on the corner of Happy & Healthy (Not 24hrs)You will also find multiple tennis courts handball basketball ball courts and a few other common amenities you would typically expect at a public park.It is unfortunate after dark the same ungodly lascivious acts do transpire at this park as well.
More improvements are needed at this park. Particularly the exercise area. Playground is very nice. Also the restrooms are not well maintained.
Pass park after 10pm, it was actually well lit which I appreciate the warm feeling.
The renovations are coming along nicely. It looks like they invested a lot of money in it. Reminds me of Prospect Park a little.
Nice park to workout in , it has pull-up bars, dip bars ,situp benches and a track. As for sports , you can play basketball or tennis
Tennis courts need resurfacing.
This is a nice enough park for adults, but a great fun place for kids. If youre a sport enthusiasts theres tennis, racket ball, basketball etc.
Its been newly designed n it looks great. Still a fun place to go hang out with friends and family , play games watch cricket and netball as well as basketball n baseball
Beautiful park! I go there most days to walk and run. There is sometimes trash around, but its a great place for the community
Always liked this park, so much to do from tennis and handball to working out and track as well as a brand new playground for the kids and plenty free space , but with the uptick in gun violence ya have to be on your ps and qs, you never know when something might pop off, 2 people have been killed in the park in the last 32 days.
This park is okay. You would find a dog off the leash a crack head sleeping on the bench and people Smoking. Besides that it has a huge basketball and handball court. Students play in the marching band for practice and the playground has working sprinklers. The ice cream truck is always there.
My daughter and I really enjoyed the playground area. I only wish there was a little more protection from the sun.
I grew up coming here and seeing the remodel of the childrens park is amazing. I hope they continue to remodel the park and the people of the community Care for it properly.
Nice small Park. But to many idiots in there. My family and I was sitting washing the game and a idiot came and start the fired cracker on top of us .
Beautiful park to have a picnic or just to bring your dogs 🐕to. Its clean and lots of fun for kids.
Kids had a great time, BUT too much drug use and loud music in the park. Didnt see a single policeman in the whole park.
Lovely place to take the kids
Amazing park! I personally go for the skating aspect . Great field with lots of space , for handball, basket ball, even soccer on concrete.
Pleasant park to bring the kids , its very spacious and kids have an assorted amount of choices to play and burn out the energy
The Park had one light on the basket ball court not good at all because it was hard to see on the floor. Also they need more nets on the rims.
I love this park it’s right by my house. It’s not really a big park but it can be great to do workouts or jogging.
Nice quality courts. Its about 9 courts there.
First Park in Brooklyn my princessStart playing around. Now they fixed up so beautiful. That just bring you joy in your life expectancy.
Calisthenics with BEAST MODE legends! Shadow, Semi, Juice, Asha, Lox and more
They really did a great job reconstructing this park. My daughter loves it and the set up is amazing for all ages.
Great in the summer time, I play Netball there with my team mates. Watch out for the crazy skater guy who always hog the tracks.
Looked great kids enjoying themselves playing but it needs more trash cans or there will be litter throughout the park
Ive been going to this park since I was a kid. Im so glad they revamped it and made it so much nicer and accessible.
This park is a place where u can come and a wonderful time at the sprinklers with your children or have an event such as a birthday party or an anniversary party
Great local park which is clean, relaxing with the trees,or a playground for small children, basketball courts, tennis courts, handball courts, and much more. They have something for everybody, except golf...
Its a nice place to share with your kids great moments. Theyll enjoy and have fun.
Really nice park, you can get away from Brooklyn from inside Brooklyn. Great playground, but they desperately need to fix some of the benches.
Really nice park but you got a few bumbs laying on the benches. Other than that you have alot to enjoy
The park has a very nice playground for the kids & its a big park with baseball field basketball court workout equipment build into the ground of the park.
I have great memories here. Working out with new people is a really the reason I go here. Aside from that the swings and a picnic on a nice day
The park is beautiful. I like the upgrade. It just very dirty. Lots of trash all over
Its one of my favorite parks but jobless crazy persons makes the park unsanitary.
This is a great big Park with so many different things for children to do, my children are begging me to go back.
I wish they would unlock the restrooms, most people are there for hours. But as a park, it is incredible with an incredible assortment of people purposing themselves
The grounds are awesome now however, there are no bathroom facilities this summer and this makes it very difficult to stay an extended time in the park
It is absolutely beautiful and very tranquil place ,theres so much room and some much to do. I highly recommend this place
Good for runs and calisthenics workouts. A nice difference in smells of nature in the sometimes urine poluted Brooklyn.
Love the new look. Very kid friendly, safe and a good place to let your kids run free.
Its been a long time since Ive been to the park . It has changed and I like it. I think its more kid friendly.
The remodel of the park was very pleasant. My kids had a wonderful time there
The park was recently redone. It has a very well thought out play area, and the kids really have a great time there.
Little gem in the heart of Brooklyn. Surprising number of birds this morning. Saw 12 species.
Beautiful Park, great experience. My granddaughter enjoyed it. I will come again.
