Sasha Merlin Cats and The City

Sasha is amazing! Over the years my mom and I have gotten 4 cats from Sasha and also had friends receive some as well. Working with her is so easy and she is so incredibly supportive, informative, and helpful! I would get 5 more if I could! All the cats have amazing dispositions, were healthy and incredibly well taken care of when they arrived! We have one oriental short hair (Kida the orange one) and 3 Devon Rex (Mochi-brown, Perri - grey, and Elton - tan). They bring us so much joy and we are incredibly grateful for Sasha and will definitely continue to work with her in the future!

I have received 10 cats from Sasha throught the years for my myself as well as various family members. I have friends who have also recieved kittens from Sasha. We are all thrilled with every one of our cats from Sasha. She provides quality, healthy and highly socialized kittens. Great with children. Superb personalities. Sasha is very prompt at communicating and updates you constantly throughout the process. With so many scams nowadays its so reassuring to work with Sasha, knowing she is legitimate and will take care of everything for you! 10/10 recommend!

Sasha is absolutely amazing to work with! We got our baby girl Zelda from her in December 2023, and she was very communicative and honest. We had an issue with the first kitten we picked, and she was very honest with the situation and worked with us to find the best kitten for our family. I was very happy with my experience with her, and I will definitely be using her again once we decide to get another Devon Rex!

Thanks to Sasha I found my best friend. She takes excellent care of her kitties and communication is so simple with her. I fell in love with my Orientalist Shorthair boy so much I had to get him a little sister as well and they love each other so much! I even got my friend a cat from Sasha as a birthday gift because with Sasha I know the kitty comes from a good home and is healthy. Sasha and I still talk and she is always so interested in how the kitties are doing and helps me whenever I have cat related questions.. You can tell she really loves her job. She’s like family! I have gotten 5 cats from sasha! All have had the best personalities and continue to make my life so much brighter. I got my first cat in 2020 and I have kept in contact with her ever since. I share updates and she has always been extremely helpful and so compassionate. She loves connecting people to their new baby and even has a group on facebook where she is extremely active and looks for updates on all the cats. We cannot express how grateful we are to her. Every interaction has been extremely positive and we love her!

I have two amazing Devon Rex kitties, one from Russia and the other from the Ukraine. Sasha made the process of finding and flying both my babies to me in LA, seamlessly easy.My kitties are healthy, well trained and so sweet, I can’t imagine my life without my little babies! We adopted a female Devon Rex kitten last September. Sasha was very professional and knowledgeable about the variety of cat breeds she had. The kitten was very healthy and well adjusted. We still stay in touch with Sasha on a regular basis. The entire experience has been excellent.

A friend of my got a Devon Rex kitten from Sasha and Fezzik is the friendliest and most sociable cat. I started following Sasha on Facebook and every person who posted about their cats said they were friendly, cuddly and well socialized. When I needed a new kitten I contacted Sasha to find a Siberian kitten. She made sure that the kitten and his parents were free of the gene that causes problems for some kittens. We got our boy Xander from Sasha and he has been a joy every day (even when he gets into mischief, which he does every single day.) He is even helping to bring our 6 year old very fearful, originally feral black cat, Orion, out of his shell. The play together and wrestle without being overly aggressive. We got our Oriental Shorthair from Sasha and he is the most amazing cat I have ever owned! Hes social, affectionate, healthy, and gorgeous! I was trying to find a devon rex breeder in the NY area as I didnt want to travel to adopt. I was skeptical because its hard to find a legitimate breeder but Sasha was great! When I first started to inquire she had a facetime with me and answered all my questions and did not pressure me at all until I was ready to adopt. I adopted two rexes from her several months apart and I could not be happier. They are healthy, happy, and super loving. I think they are socialized really well, and they come with cute little sweaters. They have come from a loving home, you can tell. Her husband is also very lovely and he was the one that facilitated the first adoption, everything went super smoothly. I could not recommend them more! Thanks so much :)

I got my baby girl Kira, an oriental short hair, a couple years back from Sasha. I brought home one happy, healthy, and sassy girl! I just got my second OSH from her. Sasha was insanely helpful with finding a cat nanny to transport my baby from NYC to Dallas, where I picked her up. I could not recommend her more!

Sasha was fantastic throughout the process of getting our two Devon Rex kittens. She made it comfortable and easy. I was able to pick them up in Brooklyn and take them home when they were the right age. I like that the kittens stay with their mom for quite some time before we can pick them up. The cats got along right away after I introduced them. Immediately the cats felt comfortable in my home. My Devon Rex cats are so loving, friendly, and funny; they make the perfect pet!

Sasha is honest! What she says is what IS! My baby boy Mr. Bigglesworth was healthy from the day we got him! He is even more cuddly and loving than we expected. We will get another Devin and we will ONLY get her from Sasha!

Sasha is Awesome! If your are looking for a new 4 legged family member she is the one to talk to. She is so pleasant to talk to and Knowledgable. She sent a lot of pictures, addressed all my questions/ concerns and even helped me get my new baby home. And my new baby adjusted so smoothly and fit right in like he wasnt even a new baby. Sasha was wonderful to work with, and we are madly in love with our OSH. Hes very smart, friendly, and social. He loves to snuggle, and hes a purr machine. Perfect cat that was clearly very well loved before he joined our household.

I got my Oriental Short Hair from Sasha over the weekend and she is the sweetest most purrrfect baby Ive ever seen. Im so in love with her. Shes super cuddly, loves to play & make muffins, & shes extremely talkative. I seriously cant thank Sasha & her husband enough. Ive been searching for months and all I found on Facebook were scammers. I was so close to giving up until a few people in a group Im in recommended her. She responded quickly, sent me pics of available kittens, & found exactly what Ive been dreaming of. We spoke on the phone for quite a while after I got out of work & I felt so relieved that I finally found someone trustworthy. I picked up my kitty on Friday, took her to the vet for a wellness check up & the vet said shes in good health & shes very special. Sasha was ABSOLUTELY wonderful to work with. She kept me updated and answered all my questions. My Merlin is a gorgeous sweet boi and I am so happy he is my travel buddy now!!! He is super healthy and growing like a weed. I highly recommend using her!

I had the best adoption experience with Sasha! First she made me very comfortable that she is NOT a scam, and, offered for me to come to her home to see the cats that she was caring for prior to their adoption. She then asked me about my home and cat experience, and, I sent her photos, and, immediately she thought Devon Rex was the perfect breed. From there she sent me videos from the breeder and I kept seeing Ziggy & Stardust together--one boy--one girl--siblings. We just had to have these two beautiful creatures! From there, Sasha had me come to her home to sign paperwork and see the babies---and they were exactly as pictured in the videos and even cuter. They have turned into the most precious family members and have been a dream come true and I couldnt recommend a better person or business to adopt kittens from.

Sasha is an absolute Angel!! From the first phone call to the visit to the pick up she was patient and knowledgeable and so helpful. Our little girl ( Devon Rex) is perfect and so smart and loving! Sasha really knows her business and takes care of her clients. Her cats have the best temperaments! Can’t wait to get a little boy from her.

Just had the pleasure of working with Sasha and thanks to her my dreams of having an OSH have come true . From the very beginning she was very attentive with communication and put any doubts I had at ease .It almost felt too good to be true since it was so easy and before Id had such poor luck even finding a cattery that would speak to me . This process was super easy and I am glad I took a chance . Her husband was also very nice when I went to pick up my baby you can tell they really love what they do and care for the well being of the cats which is a main priority of mine .I took my kitty to the vet right after who found no issues and said she was perfectly healthy .Best part of it all is my OSH Noche is the sweetest cat I have ever met she warmed up to me immediately she’s always purring always wants cuddles and is just perfect and beautiful. Not even a full week of having her and my other cat has already accepted her which is record time to me !! The day am ready to add another OSH to the family there is no doubt it will be with Sasha !! I could tell from past clients that I could trust her to deliver my baby safely from Brooklyn to LA. The pet nanny who Sasha used was wonderful as well. My baby girl is super social and came to us well trained with the litter box. She had all her documents and passport included, was spayed, and up to date with her vaccinations. So we were so excited when we went to pick out a Devon Rex kitten from Sasha Merlin. The husband was super nice. Truly a great experience. We took little kitten home & we were so excited to introduce him to our other kitten who is 1 yr old Scottish fold. We were assured that he was healthy & fixed. Just days later he started having eye issues. We made a veterinary appt as soon as we could get one. He had a very bad conjunctivitis in one of his eyes. Which later we found was in his other eye. During the initial vet visit they asked us to bring a stool sample. Which we did and were notified right away that he had parasites. Giardia antigen, very contagious! Needed to be treated quickly and my other perfectly healthy kitten needed be checked. I reached out to Sasha and they didn’t want to hear it! Initially was very rude to us. Said it wasn’t her problem. But the husband Alex was understanding & asked to see the vet bills. Eventually he sent us $100. We have already spent $340 and will continue to keep paying till the kitten is healthy. when I said thank you for the $100 but $200 would have made the situation more bearable they went off on me ! We paid thousands of dollars for him! What’s another $100 to them? We love little guy, would never give him back and I will continue to pay the vet bills until he is healthy. The point of this post is plz be very careful and make sure kitten is healthy cause Sasha Merlin is Not a nice person, this is all business for her. Have a heart. Stuff happens
