I can’t say enough things about this pet shop!They truly went above and beyond when it came to caring for my cats. It’s rare to see them come home relaxed after a bath session. The staff took great care of them, and I could tell they were treated with so much love and attention.A special thank you to Rhaissa, the bather, who did an incredible job! She handled my cats with such kindness and professionalism, making sure they were comfortable. The front desk team was also fantastic — so welcoming and helpful, they made the whole experience seamless.If you’re looking for a place where your pets are treated like family, this is definitely the spot! This was my second time taking my cat Fluff to Brooklyn Pet Spa, and I was very satisfied with how it came out! They did his haircut even shorter this time, with a larger sanitary shave area which was perfect since his hair grows so quickly and usually requires a lot of brushing and grooming. If you have a cat, I definitely recommend getting a full sanitary shave. Even if it looks strange, your cat will love it and it grows back!Each time, I can tell he is so happy afterwards and loves his haircut too. He didn’t even seem stressed out after, even though he typically hates the carrier and being taken anywhere.I’m also a cat-sitter, and I’ve started recommending Brooklyn Cat Spa to other long-haired cat owners too. It’s not easy finding pet-grooming services for cats but this place does such a great job! 😊

RoseBella is my 6 month old Yorkie Poo who is anxious and goes through stress. I love the way she was treated and how she looked just as we pictured her. She came home stress and anxiety free. Was all play. I love the attention to detail the staff takes. Will continue to take her to her new grooming family. A+++++++

Luna is a very shy and sweet girl, so I’m grateful she came back happy and feeling good. They went through all of my specifications, making sure she was getting the treatment and cut I wanted. Honestly, becareful coming here! Speak to the boss directly and not the idiot on the phoneI called to make an appointment because I specifically wanted my dog’s hair colored, which is why I chose this place. When I called, I explained what I wanted, and the woman gave me a price after asking which parts of the dog I wanted colored. I drove 40 minutes on the day of the appointment, only to have someone skip ahead of me, even though I told the receptionist I was there first.When it was finally my turn, I showed her pictures of the color I wanted, and she informed me that the person who does the coloring wasn’t there that day. This was incredibly frustrating, as coloring was the entire reason for my visit. She then admitted that she was the one I spoke to the day before on the phone and apologized for the miscommunication. She called her boss to try and fix the situation, but the price he quoted me was higher than what I was told during the initial call.I ended up wasting my entire morning because the receptionist didn’t provide accurate information or communicate properly. This experience was extremely disappointing and unprofessional.

We brought our puppy here for 2 puppy grooms. Both to help socialize him and get him a much needed haircut. They were very gentle with our 3.5 month old puppy, did a great job with both his cuts and at a very reasonable price.

Love this place. They gave my doodle a bath, got our her matts, and did it so quickly and affordably.Thalis and Gui were super helpful and communicate. Highly recommend

We took our very long-haired Ragdoll to the groomers for a lion cut because she had matted fur. She is much happier after it and can groom herself. She looks really cute, too.

My cat got shaved for the summer here! The staff were very respectful and were thorough about what haircut we were looking for. He came back very confident and with no nicks or cuts! He will definitely be back next year!

I must say Brooklyn Pet Spa is great!. After going to various large pet companies who groom and was completely over charged and they had my baby looking like an oversized rat, I decided to try Brooklyn Pet Spa and it was one of the best decisions Ive made. Leaving my fur son Erad with anyone just for a second, gives me a great sense of anxiety; however, after my phone consult and 1st groom session, I felt confident with the entire staff, from both front desk staff and everyone who came from the back & made sure I was pleased with the level of service we were given after my fur babys cut. The entire staff were friendly, caring & professional. They even took the time & checked on Erad later in the day to make sure we were good. I would highly recommend Brooklyn Pet Spa to ANY & EVERYONE who is looking for a forever grooming family because Im happy to say, I think I have found new and forever grooming Aunties and Uncles 😁 for Erad. Very sweet staff and the most empathetic owner.they said Max did great, and he didn’t seem nervous or anxious at all at the salon. ❤️❤️❤️note: if your dog is sensitive, or may have an allergic reaction, I recommend bringing your own shampoo to the groomers.

I came in with a request for a bath, nails, and a trim for my dog Miley. They did a very good job for her, and she seemed to be in really good spirits when I came back. So far everyone has noticed that she looks even cuter than before. These people will do a great job for your fluffy companion!

UPDATE: I finally spoke with the owner who was very concerned and immediately remedied the situation by refunding me and offering to cover any vet bills. While, I’m upset that this happened to my dog, I really appreciate the owner’s response and attention to the situation. It’s clear that he cares about both his customers and their animals.ORIGINAL: My dog came home from the groomer with a huge gash behind his ear. I am aware that accidents do happen, but it’s the fact that I wasn’t notified of what happened so that I could take the proper steps to ensure that my dog was safe with no possibility for infections. I reached out to the owner by email as well as calling the place, but I haven’t heard back at all. This makes it clear that my pet’s injury isn’t seen as a priority. Extremely disappointing. I’m attaching a photo, it’s looking better after some at-home care, but my dog continues to scratch that area increasing the chance of infection.

UPDATE: The owner Sancho is so kind and offered for another groomer (Gilberto) to fix our pups groom for free. My pups groom looks so much better and I’m so grateful for the awesome customer service! They were also so kind about it and made me feel like my complaints were valid. Really happy with the resolution.I did not like how they groomed by doodle. They didn’t follow the photos we gave them and they shaved him way lower than we asked.His body was shaved too much and his face wasn’t groomed enough making him look like he has a huge head and tiny body.I don’t recommend bringing your dog here if you have a doodle, maybe they’re better with breed specific cuts but we won’t be taking him back here. I will say my pup smells good and is soft but that’s about it. Attached are photos

The staff are always friendly and helpful, and gentle with my pups, paying particular attention to the needs of my senior shih tzu. They have earned my trust and give me peace of mind, which is so important when it comes to my pets. I can’t recommend Brooklyn Pet Spa highly enough!

First time customer and i will say im definitely making this my go to spot for my dog. My dog’s full time groomer Pup Slope recently closed down for good and I wasn’t really sure what I was going to do. as I was walking I came across this place and the prices are reasonable. They did such a great job on my Dog and let’s just say i will be coming back.

I had a bad feeling when I dropped off our pup. I should have listened to my gut. He hasn’t been the same since visiting the groomer at Brooklyn Pet Spa. They also snipped off a piece of his ear. I do not recommend this place at all.

I took my puppy Capri for her first haircut and we had a wonderful experience. The customer service was just as amazing as her haircut. My mom try to trim her face area herself and messed it up. Brooklyn pet spa took their time making her coat even and fluffy. Plus she smelled amazing from the time I picked her up. Everyone stopped to play with her after I picked her up. It was my first time leaving her with anyone and she seemed happier then when I dropped her off. I will definitely return for any future grooming.

I took my puppy for his very first grooming appointment yesterday and I am blown away by how amazing the experience was. I was a bit nervous about leaving my pup in the care of someone else, but the groomer put my mind at ease the moment I saw my furry friend bounce away with her. Just look at the pictures! My pup looks so happy and I can’t wait to take him back! 10/10

I’ve been going to this place for almost a year now the staff is super friendly & they prices are fair. I have a morkie who is always hyper active so I’m very satisfied with the results after he’s done grooming very neatly trimmed and smells really good. Although I do feel like my dog nails aren’t shaved as good as I would like still seems a little sharp sometimes.

To the groomer that did my dogs haircut and bath THANK YOU SOOOO MUCH !! My fur baby looks so soft and clean and smelled so good couldn’t stop kissing him. Definitely will come back again and again and again 10/10 😍😍😍

So happy with Pet Spa. We needed a quick appointment. Our fluffy pup was a mop was getting knotted and had a burr from camping we could not get out. The staff was so kind and helped us get in right away. This is the best haircut she has ever had. Pet spa just made a forever client family!

My go-to place in NYC for dog grooming. We moved out of Brooklyn 2 years ago and would still only take our dog to Brooklyn Pet Spa due to its efficiency, experienced and super friendly staff, and professional service.

My cat came out smelling like vanilla and they gave him a cute little bow tie. Prices are reasonable I paid 160$ for his bath with a shedding treatment and nail covers.Only issue was I was told he was ready for pickup and ended up having to wait another 20mins due to some internal miscommunication.Totally fine but still a mild annoyance.But I will be going back indefinitely.

I’m confused. After a $95 dollar bath and an extra cost for a “de-shedding treatment” one brush and this much fur came off of my cat.We’re petting her and her hair is flying everywhere. The only reason we paid to groom her was to get her de-shed.Edit: I’m using two accounts because my cat has two owners. I brought her this time and my sister, who you spoke to, brought her last time. No one is trying to sink your business. We paid nearly $100 for a de-shedding treatment and she’s shedding more hair than ever — as well as covered in dandruff. Two bad visits in a row just means it’s not a good groomers. We won’t be coming back and we don’t need a text conversation asking us to. Good luck.

Amazing customer service! I was able to get my dog Georgie in extremely quickly, they did an incredible job on her hand stripping grooming, as she is a wire hair terrier and needs special services. Brooklyn Pet Spa were so accommodating and even called us to let us know they would leave her hair a little longer than we originally asked because its still puppy hair, its this attention to detail and great customer service that will have us returning! Prices are appropriate for the services, you get what you pay for (quality) !

I love this place. When you need an appointment, they have one. Every other groomer always seems to be booked. Their availability does not mean that they aren’t good, in fact, it’s the exact opposite!The first time I went with my new puppy, I showed them a photo (she’s a Bernedoodle) and guess what they cut it to perfection! When I returned for her next appointment, they had the original photo and one of her. Today I went to get her nails trimmed, I called this morning to schedule, went at 4:00pm, was done at 4:10pm and it was only $15. Everywhere else wanted $25!So, I suggest this place whole heartedly!

I used to come to this place regularly, but my last visit was very disappointing. My cat wasn’t dried properly, his paws weren’t shaved correctly, and the customer service staff were not friendly at all. They seemed to be in a bad mood, which made the entire experience uncomfortable.I always expect the best for my cat, but this time, the service didn’t meet those expectations.will not come back to this place.

We went in for a quick nail trim - the staff is so awesome since it was a short turnaround, they insisted to not charge us. Love coming across people who love their jobs.

I took my 6-month old puppy here for the first time and am so happy with the result! She is a Lagotto Romagnolo (which is not very common breed) and has to be cut in a certain way (not like a poodle or doodle). It turns out that Ashley is a total boss and knows the ins and outs of cutting this breed’s hair. Luna is a bit frightful but she came back so happy and I can’t wait to take her again. Thank you!

I took my Maltese to Brooklyn Pet Spa for the 1st time & im pretty much satisfied. “Chewbacca” was trimmed down as requested and his private parts were not damaged. He smells super good and his coat is soft. He has had (2) bad experiences with other companies and groomers in the past. Thanxs Talis. See you ima few weeks

They were able to accommodate us as a walk-in & the 2-4 hour window for pick-up was typical of most other places. They were done in 2 hours & I was shocked! The groomer called me beforehand to get some clarity on the cut I wanted & to give her professional opinion about the whiskers. I appreciated that since this was my first time visiting the business. The young lady at the front desk was kind & went back to confirm when I asked if that was my dog who was barking insanely. You always know your fur babys cry. 😒 She was freaking out being in a brand new place, but she was fine when I picked her up and she looked too cute! I love the work they did and that my instructions for her tail were followed.

I have taken my dog here for few times. I really like! How they take care my pet. They are polite and very efficient with their jobs.

Took our long haired cat here for a bath and haircut on a Saturday. All in all services were $140 and took four hours.The staff was great and our little boy looks amazing! Thank you Brooklyn Pet Spa. We’ll be back!

Crush has been here twice and no complaints. The lady who is usually there in the mornings is super friendly! Easy to book a last minute appointment which I love! My suggestion is skipping the fragrance and treating your dog to their deep conditioning service. Way less itching!

This was both my puppy & I first time so i had absolutely no idea of what to expect but My experience was AMAZING!!! Sandro & Nico were both very very sweet to Nala & I and very genuine. From the beginning Sandro was very informative and caring as i am a 1st time puppy mom, he gave me a lot of tips and advice that I know was definitely accurate and on point because some of the things he said was also mentioned by Nala’s vet. I had a very hectic schedule but they were very accommodating and understanding. I was late to my 9:15 & even later to pick my baby girl up & they were angels about it. Nico is a sweetheart. I can tell she really listened to what i asked for & was very gentle with Nala. Her haircut was exactly what I asked for if not even Better. I highly Recommend. I took my miniature poodle Carter for his first haircut and the did a wonderful job. The customer service was great they handled my dog with care and they gave him a perfect haircut. We will definitely be back.

My dog has been going to BPS for over 2 or 3 years and its always been an amazing experience. He was super anxious and a growler the first few times. We had to drag him in. Now he walks right in and is comfortable with all the groomers. He loves snuggling with them. Not sure what they did to make him this comfortable, but thank you all. My baby loves every experience!

Beautiful lion cut , and fast! Less than one hr. Clipped his nails, shampoo, cut, ears cleaned. smelled amazing and of course with a precious bow tie. Quality service. $150 and worth every penny. :)

I had an amazing experience as this was my first time here. The woman in the front was very kind and professional, so I felt very safe leaving my cats here. When they came back to me they had wee wee pads in their carriers and bows according to their genders I’m guessing which is really cute and thoughtful. Also I loved their hair cute and the scent. Next time I would just want to use a de-shedder but other wise wowwww I loved everything. Thank you, I will forever come here with my fur babies. Brought my companion, Lily, here for the first time and the staff was very organized (even with the pandemic going on). Lily came out smelling great and feeling like a million bucks. Have had great experiences having my dog groomed here. They make sure to confirm what style you want, take a picture for added security, and call/text to confirm when your pet is ready for pickup. They were flexible when I’ve had to shift my appointment, just make sure to call as soon as you know so as to be considerate if their bookings. Very friendly staff :)

The groomers do an amazing job on our Morkie! Time and time again, they exceed our expectations and we are always delighted. Booking online is fast and easy. The owners and staff are friendly and very accommodating. The prices are very reasonable for this kind of quality grooming. We also feel very safe dropping our baby off here, knowing they care for their clients pets as if they were their own--which they really ARE after all!!!

Finding a good groomer is not easy around here, so Brooklyn Pet Spa has been a lifesaver. Its really simple to get an appointment online, and my dogs always come back looking and smelling amazing. Their nail trims are perfect, and seriously - that de-shedding treatment? No more dog hair tumbleweeds in my house! Prices are totally fair too.

I have a doodle and let me tellyou, these groomers do a FANTASTIC job.my doodle gets mats in her paws and they got them all out.from time to time, I’ll try a different groomer nearer to my apartment and they never do as good a job.I’ve been coming here for 3 years now and don’t plan to stop!(the storefront could be spruced up a bit, but don’t be deterred!)

Such excellent grooming!! The team does an amazing job, is great at understanding exactly what kind of a groom you’re looking for and have been amazingly flexible at scheduling appointments. Also doing a great job on COVID precautions and distancing, thank-you! Plus the little fur stickers they send the pups back wearing are absolutely hilarious and adorable.

Brooklyn pet spa did an amazing job! We had just adopted our boy Ziggy who hadnt been groomed in years. They were so understanding of him being skidish. They gave Ziggy a rocking cut complete with a mohawk.

We recently moved to Brooklyn and we were nervous about a new groomer for max. We decided to give Brooklyn pet spa a try since it was pretty close to home, and the reviews were promising. Surprisingly, max loved it! He has never had a cut like this before, he actually left the place really happy!!!! And We are so happy we found Brooklyn pet spa! Highly recommended.

My Standard poodle Winter had an amazing day at Brooklyn Pet Spa. The staff was friendly & understanding to our pet needs. Reason is We were informed during the grooming process of Winter’s anxiety with the Blowdryer, and other things that was making him uncomfortable. I felt assured my Pet was well comforted when I was told they will do everything to make his experience fun.I applaud the staff for their time & patience. He looked & smell wonderful also happy & gave everyone kisses.When leaving Winter wanted to go back in because of how good they treated him! This is by far the greatest grooming service I have ever been to , and I highly recommend Brooklyn Pet Spa to everyone with a pet they love.

UPDATE!!!Literally two seconds after I made this review, the owner Sandro left a response with his phone number. We had a great conversation and I was set up with an appointment for the next morning. We arrived, was met warmly with smiles and Blaze (my cat) was taken to the back. Communication was amazing, with constant updates and in about two hours, he was ready! The pickup process was smooth and Blaze smelled soooo good 😊. We will definitely be back and I am so happy this was able to be turned around and became such a great experience!I called to make an appointment for a cat bath for my two year cat. I informed them that we had never did this service before and he was a little feisty. I was then told that i should seek service elsewhere for the safety of the cat. I asked if they knew of where I would be able to take him for this type of service, but was told they didnt have that information. Needless to say, I was very disappointed.

Great haircut for my labradoodle. Fair price, and they were able to get us in within 2-3 days which is surprisingly difficult in Park Slope! They dealt with his mild matting very well, and the haircut looks great (sometimes he looks real stupid coming back from the groomer). Highly recommend!

I absolutely love this place. I am a new dog Mom and was very nervous about grooming. There are so many horrible stories out there. However not at Brooklyn Pet Spa. The staff is so friendly and the services are top notch. My Joi appears calm and happy when I pick her up after her spa day. :-)I wouldn’t dream of going anywhere else and have recommended them to so many of my friends and neighbors.

Brooklyn Pet Spa has been Tysons groomer since he was a puppy. Even though I have taken him to a few different places, he loves coming back to this place for pet grooming near me. They are definitely the best.

Its the only place I trust to get my pup groomed. They dont take 5-6 hours like some chain places do (cough..petco). My dog was groomed and ready to go within 2 hours. Im obsessed with his haircut, and its safe to say he loves it, too! 💜 🐶

I was lucky enough to be recommended Brooklyn Pet Spa by a colleague at work; when I first got my poodle puppy. Since day 1 my experience has been nothing short or perfect. The staff there has developed a wonderful relationship with my dog, and they always do exactly what we agree on before I give them my dog. My poodle comes out looking IMPECCABLE, and completely calm…as one would after a full day spa treatment. Overall 10/10 experience!

Excellent service! Everyone I spoke to was very kind and accommodating. Our 4 month old puppy was getting a little raggedy and we were nervous to get her first haircut because we didnt want her to get shaved down. They were so sweet and patient with us, and they listened to exactly what we wanted. 2 hours later our baby was beautiful and she had little purple bows in her hair! I melted. Definitely coming back. *Go to Grand Canyon Diner across the street while you wait- great breakfast!

I cannot recommend Brooklyn Pet Spa enough!My dog, Sol, and I are new in town, and in an emergent moment, Sandro of Brooklyn Pet Spa stepped in to save the day.I was heading to an event and in desperate need to take Sol to a groomer as she came back from her sitters quite dirty.I had a limited amount of time and, being new to the area, I do not have a ton of resources or friends yet. I thought I was going to have to miss the event but then…Brooklyn Pet Spa offered to board Sol, complimentary to help!On top of it all, they did an amazing job with Sols grooming! Sol is an 8 lb, apricot maltipoo and she looks soooo darn cute from her bath and cut.Businesses like this are a dime a dozen and truly difficult to come across in rocky economies. I just cannot say enough kind words about them. You’re a in good hands here, trust me!Appreciate you all tremendously!

This was the best experience ever! I have a 4 month old Maltese and they were so patient and kind and super professional. They advised me on what the best haircut would be and made sure he was super comfortable. They let me know it would be 2-4 hours and it took about 4 hours no complaints because this was his first haircut, I will definitely be back for another visit.

This place is Amazing. I walked in to ask how much was it to groom my Maltese. The price was right so I ask for next available appointment and they took him right on the Spot. The staff is amazing and quick. My puppy’s cut came out so Good. I will definitely be back. Definitely recommend this Spa.

I brought my pup here religiously for a little over a year and always had a decent cut. A couple months ago, I picked him up and the groomer had completely ignored what I asked for. I was dissatisfied, naturally and asked how the person in the front spent 10 minutes taking notes of everything I want and still do the complete opposite. She told me ‘I don’t know, remember I took all the notes’ and I understood bc she’s not the groomer. She called the owner and the owner said ‘you know what, don’t worry about the cut’. The next time I made an appointment, the owner called and said ‘you were unhappy last time and didn’t want to pay’ - completely untrue - ‘so we cannot approve the appointment’. I explained that was untrue and they accepted the appointment. I’ve since decided to look elsewhere. My daughter accidentally scheduled an appointment with Brooklyn Pet Spa today when I told her to call the groomer’s for next week. (She had ab old number saved.) The owner actually called me to say ‘I cannot accept the appointment because you refused to pay last time.’ - A total lie… again and also, they saw my pup since then. To be frank, they seem racist… but it couldn’t just be unfriendliness and unprofessionalism. Either way, they never have to worry about business from me or anyone I know again. Excellent place! I took my two long haired cats and I am very pleased. The customer service was excellent, they gave all the attention to my babies. Theyre really friendly. The groomers are wonderful and attentive. I recommend everyone.

This place has got to be the best grooming place Ive taken my golden doodle to! They are extremely professional, they take care of your dog, they doing an amazing job all around, and my dog comes out feeling and looking like a million bucks! I highly recommend Brooklyn Pet Spa to everyone. Everything that was asked for they did it better than any other grooming spa Ive taken my doodle to, and hes a big dog (70lbs). They will always have my business! They are honestly the best in the biz!!!

I have a 13-year old Akita with some attitude and bad hind paw/hip/knee arthritis. Going to Brooklyn Pet Spa I had little hope that they would be able to handle my dog, but to my surprise they took him. Even though I had to come back and assist with the washing and drying of my dog due to his arthritis he is over a 100 pounds and can get a little snappy, the staff was more than kind waiting for me to return, which took me over an hour while they took care do my dog, then spending the time to wash him thoroughly. Even though he barked here and there and his hind legs gave out and I had to lift him the staff was very accommodating and kind and took care of my dog. They were all very friendly and kind and attentive. I had a great experience. Will come back again. Moreover, their prices are very reasonable. I was paying about same at another location that was much worse. I would recommend Brooklyn Pet Spa for anyone. Great place.

Brooklyn Pet Spa was an amazing first time grooming experience for my 7 month old cocker spaniel puppy. They were very accommodating by seeing me earlier and he was done much faster than estimated. He came out of the spa smelling wonderful and so happy. He has bAd separation anxiety but seemed very comfortable with the staff there. The customer service is exceptional ! I received a call minutes after walking out asking about my experience. We will definitely be returning !!Rachael answered all of my questions while we were discussing the cut and style . My dog hadnt been professionally groomed in the last six months, so I learned about Brooklyn Pet Spa from my friend. Choosing them was totally worth it. Their staff was friendly and managed to make her look incredibly well-groomed. It was worth spending every penny.

Amazing place! Staff took good care of my fur baby after my long term groomers just up and disappeared on us. Nobody was honest about what happened to them and my guy went so long without grooming he got matted. They understood my situation and assured me they could help. They even paid attention to the note when I booked about my pup being anxious during nail grinding. He was done in 4 hours as promised and when my leash got left behind accidentally staff went above and beyond to find it. Sandro even text me a picture when it was found. The patience and attentiveness given during this stressful time has earned this place a returning customer. I don’t think I trust anywhere else to give the time and attention they provide here. It’s a long trip from home but it’s worth the travel.Edit* Just wanted to update abt my 2nd visit yesterday 2/17/22 and I am wow’d for the second time. Truly love this place. The receptionist was super kind with Bear. 🫶🏾 Bear came out looking dapper and I bought his friend Honey with us and I couldn’t believe it’s the same wild golden fur pup lol. I’m sure her doggy dad will bring her back!

Brooklyn Pet Spa was definitely such a great experience for me & my puppy. It was her second groom ever so I was a little nervous. But she turned out so beautiful & sparkling clean. It’s been a week since my visit & no odor what so ever. They’re products are so fresh & clean. If you’re reading from the Bronx/Harlem/Manhattan please make the trip. It’s worth it. Traffic may be heavy but it’s really worth it if you love and want the best care for your dog. Prices are excellent & affordable too.

We have a persian cat who developed bad mats everywhere this summer. The team at Brooklyn pet spa was very kind and accommodating when we had to reschedule our first appointment. When we arrived they were friendly and clear about what needed to be done to help our cat. They took great care of her! She looks so much happier and is playing again. Our cat wasn’t traumatized (which I was worried about). I think that speaks to how well they did their work! We will definitely be back next summer.

Weve gone here a couple of times and had great a great experience. They were among the first to re-open and safely provide grooming for dogs during the pandemic. I took my cats there and we were treated super well. The place is clean and cozy. Sandro did his best and fit us last minute in his busy schedule. Everybody is great! They handled my cats with love and competency. My cats left were calm and beautiful, smelling sooo good and fancy with their little neckties. So cute! My husband and I were really happy! I was delighted with the service I paid for and would revisit your pet spa. I was only in Brooklyn for three months for work, but in my short stay, Brooklyn came through for yah, boy. I literally have been coming here for a couple weeks now and they tell me it’s $25 for half doggy daycare and then let me pick him up at 7:30 PM and I drop them off at 10 AM and I try Bookening an appointment now they’re telling me that he tore up the door and that he can’t come there because he has separation anxiety in the house and barks and barks at other dogs and I guess he’s aggressive. My dog is a white albino Siberian husky he’s not aggressive he is a Super playful super active super hyper. He loves attention. He needs it. He has separation so when someone’s not, they’re giving him attention. He’s in the room for more than an hour by himself. He’s gonna start tearing things up!!! Yes, I have tried everything to help that but he has been abused he’s a rescue. They’re telling me I can’t bring home from the times that I’ve came to pick him up. He’s by himself in a room with nobody in the room with him no dogs in the room, and I can clearly see him by himself and it’s concerning that they’re not taking care of the dogs properly. THEY DO HAVE GREAT GROOMER SERVICE BUT NOT A GOOD DAY care AT ALL😡

I never write reviews, but I had to chime in on Brooklyn Pet Spa. What a fantastic place! I have a senior foster cat on whom I recently discovered lots of matting. Shes a sweet girl but shy and scared around new people and while she definitely needed a clean, I was worried about her reaction. The staff was so kind and helpful, they even brought out the groomer who my cat let pet her before I left! She came out looking so clean, her fur (the softest ever) continues to be super soft and best of all she was and has remained very calm. I know that this grooming will help her so much. My regular groomer bailed on me at the last minute and I really wanted to get my dog groomed before we took a flight together. I found out about Brooklyn pet spa over the internet, and contacted them. Even though it was a last minute request, they accommodated us. My dog was groomed and handled in a very professional way and the staff were lovely. I am not sure why I did not go here earlier. Highly recommend !!

Brought my mini goldendoodle here a few months ago for her grooming appointment, but she ended up leaving with a large cut on her leg. I had to carry her home that day, and she was shaking for about a day or two.They said the cut happened because they had to shave her due to matting. I didn’t think she was matted to the point she needed to be shaved, but understood that was their recommendation for my dog’s comfort.Anyway, she had to be taken to the vet and wore a cone for about three weeks until the wound healed. As soon as her wound healed, the vet noticed her ear was infected, which was due to water in her ears. Judging from the infection, the vet suspected that happened at the same time as the grooming appointment where she was cut. The vet also mentioned her ear hairs were not trimmed recently, which she said is typically done as part of a standard groom.Giving this a 2/5 because Sandro, the owner, is very communicative and was helpful through the process, and even offered to cover the cost of the appointment and vet bills. Props to him and appreciative of his offer - but I won’t be returning here given what happened.

Update: The owner reached out and seemed genuinely sorry about the situation below and did offer to make it right. I also understand that sometimes things are missed, I just think with a pet, the first impression is important. That is why I don’t plan on returning, but I truly appreciate the effort to make things right.——————————————————————————Don’t recommend this place for cats. I took my 4 month old kitty here for a bath and sanitary shave. $130 with tip and she came back with poop clumps still in her back. Also, they never sent me a text or any notification that my Siberian kitty was ready to be picked up. I had to call for them to tell me that. They also told me that they sent a text and I told them to double check the number, but was told he was too busy to do that right now. The annoying thing is that I know this was a lie, bc I had gotten text notifications earlier to remind me about the appointment.Overall, never coming back here.

REALLY disappointed. I brought my sheepadoodle to get a haircut and read the great reviews on Google so thought the best. I pointed to a picture on the wall and showed them something like that but dont cut too much of his hair. When I picked my dog up he was balded. they cut him down all the way and his skin is showing through. He was not matted in any significant way and he shouldnt have had his hair cut this short. They went back to talk to the groomer and see if he could do the cut? This to me is pure laziness - a groomer (or owners) who dont want to do the work of brushing out a doodle. I wont be back, and if you go make sure you talk to the groomer yourself and dont let the communication be handled by the team at the desk.

I have been taking my did here for about two years. They are fantastic!! My dog has sensitive skin, and many times she develops sores after being at the groomer because they dont follow instructions on not letting her sit in water. My dog stays clean smelling for weeks after. We were so sad when we moved because we never thought wed find another groomer, but we did!! Highly recommend!!

I am very particular, so when when I found Ashley that was it. She has amazing skills and does what I ask. My dog Urbie is also smitten with her.

I brought my dog for the first and last time for a grooming appointment today. Not only was the staff rude and unresponsive during both interactions, they jeopardized the safety of my dog and others by letting her run from the back room out into the reception area where the front door was ajar without a leash, collar or harness. She was not restrained whatsoever, and there are no safety precautions for the front door.In addition to safety concerns, my dogs face was clearly not washed, and she was still wet when I picked her up. Every other grooming appointment we’ve ever had lasts for at least three hours, and I was called to pick her up after less than an hour and a half. Her nails have not been properly clipped, her paw pads have not been trimmed and it does not appear that her teeth have been brushed, which I paid extra for (though, to be fair, it’s difficult to ascertain if teeth have been brushed after some grooming appointments). We will not be returning.

I was recommended on the 4th of July by a neighbor after seeing her dog looking so well groomed. I called July 5th and was able to have an appointment for 9:30 that morning. My pup looked so good I couldn’t stop staring at him (it was his first cut ever!).I already booked my next month appointment because I was so pleased with there services and professional mannerism from the time I called until the time I picked up my baby.I’m happy we have a reliable and great pet spa to go to! Highly recommended!

DO NOT BRING YOUR AUSSIE HEREWe brought our toy Aussie here twice, the first time had a great experience - she was done and looked great in under two hours. The second time, they took a full FOUR hours to groom our SEVEN POUND toy dog. They cut all of her hair so she looks like a Pomeranian, despite the fact that I was VERY clear with the receptionist asking if they had groomed an Aussie before and telling them I did not want a haircut, just a bath and nails. I was told “okay, no worries” several times.Our dog was taking so long that I called after 3 hours to check on her to which I was told it would be another 30-40 minutes and they would “give me a call.” An HOUR later the receptionist calls me and says “Are you almost here? We’re waiting.” I was in the car outside - waiting for a call as you are not allowed to wait inside. How frustrating.After picking our dog up and instantly noticing the substantial haircut, I spoke to the owner on the phone. The owner was apologetic and courteous, but obviously cannot change what happened.The icing on the cake however was the very passive aggressive receptionist - who, on our way out, said “I hope you enjoyed our business, have a great night!” Not once did she act apologetic or at least understanding of the terrible miscommunication and grooming. Absolutely do not recommend and will not be back.

These guys are amazing! Out cat and dog were in desperate need of a professional spa day after the big lockdown and we figured we would give them a try.They did a beautiful job on both and I am pretty sure both of them really enjoyed themselves. Neither seemed stressed on the next trips.Excellent groomers!

Third time bringing my pups for grooming. They did a wonderful job. I had a little issue the first time with my Pomsky (wanting more hair remove) and they corrected and removed the excess without any problem. The owner is accommodating and is willing to try to make his customers happy and that is very important to me. I will return with my Pomsky and my Toy Yorkie. I normally dont give 5 stars because i like to give room for improvement. But i am please with my Pomsky appearance.

I was looking for a new place to groom my dog since the place I used to take my dog to before the pandemic did not reopen. My dog was a complete mess and needed to be groomed desperately! I found Brooklyn Pet Spa online and sent them an email. I immediately got a text to my phone from the owner Sandro, asking me when I would like to come in. He was so nice, professional, flexible and accommodating! The whole experience was so relaxing and smooth from start to finish for my dog and for myself LOL! I recently had the pleasure of discovering this cat grooming near me, and my cat is totally in love with this place. They are friendly, funny, and loving. Both of my cats love going to this place.

We’ve had our dog groomed at Brooklyn Pet Spa several times, and he always looks great. He’s got curly/wavy hair with cowlicks everywhere, and they still manage to make him look neat and tidy. Staff is helpful and friendly, and prices are comparable to elsewhere in the neighborhood.

I brought my Pomeranian to them this past Monday, it was the first time there. Wow what a beautiful haircut. Terrible service. I had to send my dog back in because her nails were still very sharp. They did not file them. $20 of additional charge was added to bill - of course I confronted them and he had no proper reasoning for it. I refused to pay unless it was reduced.Every dog was given Easter special hamper - except mine. I guess they got upset over me asking them to redo my dog’s nails.They keep your dog there for hours. I was very clear that they should take her ONLY if they will immediately start working on her. We had other reservations and of course we missed them. Easter plans were ruined. What’d they even do for 4 hours with her?!Anyway, never returning here again. My dog doesn’t look like herself - just such bad, horrible work. Find yourself another grooming spot.

Today was my first time going to to Brooklyn Pet Spa. I want to thank the owner and staff for having the patience with me and dog. I havent found any place where listens to my concerns, understanding and professional. The groomer was amazing!!!! I will be returning and recommending to other dog owners.

This was our first time going here today, and it was FANTASTIC! Not only were they able to squeeze us in (in a day notice), they were also very kind and informative concerning the care and cut for my dog-child. Got him about a little over one hour later, and he came out looking so sharp and smelling good like blueberries. I would definitely go back there again.

This Dog Spa is closed to where I live. I decided to take my two dogs there. They did a wonderful job on them. My babies look so beautiful. The staff was very kind and professional.

They are so fast! They have done such a great job with our toy poodle. We used to trek into Manhattan when he needed a cut, but this is our go to spot. We bring our Doberman here for self wash too. With COVID you need to just call in advance to get your appointment.

Pros: Sandro (I believe hes the person I talked to on the phone) was amazing to talk to. Hes very honest and after listening to what I wanted for my pup, he recommended the bath & deshedding treatment for my pup which is what I got in the end. Their deshedding treatment is amazing. She has been shedding so much less than before. Sandro is definitely a sweetheart - he was even able to accommodate me bringing in my pup early due to a meeting I had to attend and picking her up after my work ended.Cons: Unfortunately, Sandro & their deshedding treatment is honestly the only reason why Id return, thats IF I do. I had went to drop off my pup and there was a receptionist who I was talking to right in front of her face, but she couldnt hear me because there was some lady right next to her speaking on her phone VERY loudly. If she was a customer I wouldnt mind because who can really control that, right? But no, she was a worker and when she was done with whatever she was doing up front, she continued her very loud conversation to the back. After she left, I tried to tell her my appointment time and that I came to drop her off early, the receptionist just picked up the phone...and stayed on the phone for another 10-15 mins while I just stood there in front of her. Then when I went to go pick her up, there were couple of people waiting for their pups. However, the receptionist (a different one from the afternoon) came back with the clients pups then sat down and answered her personal cell phone...while other clients were waiting to pay and I havent even told her who Im here to pick up. Kind of ridiculous to the point where the other client said excuse me, wed like to pay which she THEN hung up and then took the clients payment. I understand sometimes you need to take a personal call, but I dont think its in front of clients/customers or VERY loudly in front of them. If I actually had a better experience dropping off/picking up my pup then definitely 5/5. If you dont really care about how receptionists treat you, then go here.

My dogs face looks as though it wasn touched. His ears were definitely not trimmed. I have to do it. Will not be going back. O.k. I have to amend my review to positive. The owner took the time to phone me and admit that a good job had not been performed on Titus. That alone is worth 5 stars . However he went further and told me he would correct what was not done and for me to come in at my convenience, Titus has dry skin, so he was given a treatment at no cost to me. Would I recommend this place. Yes and very highly.Dont go anywhere else, Im not.Not many businesses own up to mistakes and personally make contact with you.

They were WONDERFUL! I took my 15 year old shih tzu for grooming. He was taken at his appointment time. It wasnt crowded with dogs, which is good because he gets very anxious in crowded spaces. They did an absoltutely beautiful job! The price was slightly higher than I used to pay with a groomer at my vets office, but definitely reasonable considering they did EVERYTHING. I couldnt be more pleased. Im really hoping that in the future, when everything settles down a little more, they will bring back the pick up and drop off service. That will keep me coming much more frequently.

Morning everyone!!!!!! I’m hurt to write this because Brooklyn pet spa do a good job grooming my yorkie. I thought it would be a good idea to use Brooklyn pet spa for overnight boarding because I was going on vacation for 5 days. My yorkie is a good playful dog. When I return from my vacation to pick him up some of his items was missing out his bag like bowls toys etc. I didn’t make a big deal about I just let them know what was missing and the employees said ok. I notice my dog behavior change that day. My dog displayed the signs of abuse. Every time I would extend my arm over him or reach for him he would ball up like he is protecting himself. I haven’t been back since. I couldn’t respond to the Brooklyn pet spa message so I’m adding my responds to my first message. My dog name is dollar and your owner just call me. All I ask is not to down play my bad experiences I had with the boarding. The owner was very Apologetic and I hope he follow up with the employees closely a lot more like he said.

The groomer, LEAL is simply FABULOUS. I am so super happy with the quality, professionalism and care my dog receives each time she goes there. My dog looks like she’s ready for a dog show. Continual success to BROOKLYN PET SPA.

I was greatly mislead by all of the positive reviews and I cannot emphasize enough to read the negative ones and pay attention to those -- because I didnt.I brought my gentle, 7 year old west highland terrier to in for a 3pm appointment today. She has health conditions that I had noted when I made the appointment and clearly stated the treatments she cannot have because of it in writing and was told that is not a problem. When I arrived, I said I was here for a 3pm appointment and was not checked in, but a woman come over with a piece of paper on a clip board asking me how I wanted the cut. I said that I wanted a typical breed cut with a round head and that she has spots where hair is re-growing, so to just trim and even out her body. I was repeatedly asked for clarification on what I wanted for the cut -- as in to describe a westie cut which made me nervous. The woman was scribbling notes on this paper with every other dogs scribble notes and there was no sheet with my dogs specific information or with the notes I had given when I made the appointment. So, I reiterated all of them which was news to her and she just said okay. While I was standing in the front room, there was a dog tied up who was excitedly pulling at his collar and choking himself. That also alarmed me. Then I was told it would take 1-3 hours and they would let me know within 20 mins to come pick her up, I was shocked by, but went against my better judgement and gave the leash to this woman. The woman took the leahe and my dog followed until I began to leave and then she, of course, tried to go with me. This woman was pulling on her and seemed to have no experience or understanding how to handle a dog and eventually very awkwardly picked her up at which point I felt like something was off and should have taken her back.I went home and had a really bad feeling about all of it, so I started searching for more info despite having read their reviews online prior -- which mainly appeared to be positive. Then, I found a recent thread in a community group page where people were sharing that their animals had been abused while in the care of this place and one woman claimed her healthy dog had died after a visit. So I called and asked for a hard pick-up time. The man who answered is apparently not in the building and had to call me back to ask the groomers. He called back and then said 2-4 hours after she had been there already for almost an hour. I asked if she had already been started. He said hed call me back. When he did he said they had to find out where she was and who her groomer was and that she hadnt been started yet. A.K.A. she had been sitting in a cage for an hour while waiting. Why even bother scheduling appointments. I said that I would like to pick her up as soon as I could and he said hed call me back. He called back a third time and asked when I wanted to come and I said I was walking there already. The man said that nothing had been started and that was no issue and that he told them to have her ready.When I got her home, I discovered that she had two bloody nails. I dont know if they had cut them or if she had been unsupervised and got her claw caught in a cage, but to say the absolute least, it is horrifying. the nail is a stub. She also had blood on the fur of her neck which I can only imagine is from the front nail profusely bleeding and clearly not being attended to -- I was not alerted that it had happened when I picked her up.I will also note that when I made the appointment, I was not asked for a vaccine history which was also a red flag to me, but I had naively assumed they were taking one dog at a time rather than keeping them stored in cages.Stay away.

Really good experience. Appointment was easy to book. I booked online a few hours before heading there. Receptionist was knowledgeable, my baby came out looking good and smelling even better! A little on the pricey side, but expected for the location & packages. Overall I would recommend!

After frantically searching for a place to take my puppy for a same day grooming, I called Brooklyn Pet Spa. The owner, Sandro, not only found a way for them to take my puppy that day, but followed up several times to see how Biggie was and make sure that I was satisfied with his haircut.Satisfied would be the last word to use to describe it. Biggie has never looked more adorable!!! I could not have asked for a better experience or kinder people. Sandro and his team go above and beyond to care for their customers and their fur babies. I will be taking Biggie for his second grooming this week.I am overjoyed to have found a place where my pup will always be taken care of and I hope anyone reading this will choose Brooklyn Pet Spa. I had a wonderful experience here with my cat Nemo! I would highly recommend Brooklyn Pet Spa and I will definitely return! It took 3 groomers to work on my boy and he put up a fight. I appreciate their patience and expertise. I could have never got him bathed and groomed myself. Also I called and got a same day appointment which was amazing! Dont get me wrong, they were really good about fitting us in at the last minute. However, after getting home we noticed our cat limping, we ran him to the ER where we were informed that he had a broken leg and surgery was needed. Im not saying its their fault exactly but there was nothing wrong w him prior so draw your own conclusions.

Amazing. My beautiful dog use to go next door but not no more. This place is amazing! My dog loved it. She was so happy when we picked her up. Will be coming here every 4 months or so.

My go to place if my dog needs a quick bath or her nail trims. The front desk is kind and she’s always done in a timely manner.

Im a dog person, in the sense that I do not like most humans. With that said, I LOVE that they have online booking, cause the only think I hate more then humans, is talking humans on the phone. My Frenchy came back clean and happy. And will be trying thier day care service. Person I did talk to (yeah it has to happens some times) was super into the dogs and thats all that really matters.

My wife took her cats here. The staff were great and took care of the cats very well.

I only take my dog to Brooklyn Pet Spa for nail clipping but every time I go in they’re so friendly. I can’t imagine going to another groomer in Brooklyn.

I brought my puppy Elton here because his usual groomer is closed because of covid and my pup came out of BROOKLYN PET SPA with the biggest wiggles ever in his new bandana and smelled like blueberries from his bluberry facial and you can tell they treated him with a lot love and attention. He left super happy and so did I :) Will def continue to bring Elton here more often!💛

I brought my dog Shirin to the place and they cut her so cutely! I would definitely recommend this to other people. Not only did my dog look cute, she smelled amazing and I loved the little bows they put on her ears 💗

I needed to get a new groomer a few years ago and came here randomly. Ive now been going here a few times a year, even though I live in Manhattan I make the travel because leaving your dog in good hands is a top priority. The staff and owner are helpful and my dog always looks good and well taken care of.

Best place to bring your babies. We won’t take our dog anywhere else. We drive from maple woods because their service is excellent.

Becareful with this location as the second has took my dog inn and my dog has come out with flees my dog do not go out or be with other dogs and this only happens when I started taken her there very suspicious this situation either they know about it and they do it to make more money for people to bring back they dog

Took over 5 hrs! My dog had cuts and red marks on his inner thigh, front desk is always rude and extremely slow.

Awesome grooming! Very Friendly and efficient! We dropped off our coquito for a trim and they did an amazing job. No cuts or scratches! He came out smelling really good ! My dog came home happy and clean. What more can you ask for? I will be back soon
