We’ve been bringing our dog Toby, who recently passed, to get groomed here for almost 4 years. They always do an amazing job and it was a no brainer to bring our new dog Ollie here. Michael and team are easy to communicate with and are great at what they do — making our dogs look adorable and feel fresh and clean! Thank you from me and Ollie!

My toy poodle is happy to come here. She used to go to another groomer leaving stressed and would sleep all day afterwards…but not when she visits Doggie Styles! The communication is great and everyone working here is friendly and knowledgeable.

We brought in our puppy for her first grooming and it was a really frustrating and sad experience overall. I told them it is her very first time but he person taking our puppy was very dismissive of my questions and concerns.When discussing her cut I asked for them not to cut her too much and really just even out her fur coat and cut around the eyes so she can see better. I tried to show the person how long I wanted the fur by saying not to cut her legs at all and just even out everything else out to the same length.Hours later when we came to pick her up, she was super afraid of us and was visibly shaken. I asked if she’s ok and what happened but they again just dismissed us saying she was an angel. Clearly something happened to her there as she hasn’t recovered her personality yet and is very shy and afraid around us as well. On top of all that she basically got a buzz cut everywhere. We couldn’t believe it and almost cried at losing our little fur ball. By the time her fur grows back she will no longer be a puppy.Of course we still love her and are trying to ease her back into her routine after this experience. But it’s just so sad to know that something clearly happened to her there and that she looks skinny and naked in these freezing temperatures. I sincerely wish we had never taken her in.

Great service, fair prices and easy access to appointments BUT, just at times very rude vibe.If you can ignore that then it will be fine !!!Recommended 👍

Ive tried almost every grooming place in the area, but I have to say Doggie Styles is by far the best one in the neighborhood. They are professional, caring, talented, and amazing. I love this place and my puppy looks absolutely beautiful every time. Thank you, guys!!!

We took our dog Pancho here to help get him a nice cleanup and remove his undercoat before summer. He is a shepherd mix and has quite a lot of hair. They did such a great job! He looks so handsome and well groomed :) & he’s not shedding at all! We are very happy and so is Pancho!

The only groomer I saw in Brooklyn the 7 years I lived here! Michael and his staff are great at what they do and are consistent! I know my dog is in great hands when I take her to get groomed at Doggie Styles.

Ive been taking my Soft Coated Wheaten Terrier for grooming sessions with Mike and his team for nearly 10 years now. Mikes the best and my dog is always happy and looks great after every session.

Brought my Miniature Australian Shepherd here for his first groom in BK and was thrilled with the entire process. Booking was easy via text and upon arrival they asked what type of cut/groom we were looking for and also gave their recommendations. The appointment was timely and they sent a text for pick up. I was so happy to see that the team actually listened to the type of cut we requested and Fig came out looking perfect! Great price, friendly staff, and excited to have a good place in the neighborhood to rely on. 10/10 would recommend!

I moved to Williamsburg a few months ago and I tried Doggie Styles for the first time! I won’t be coming back.They’re very rude, the bald man talked over me, and didn’t listen to my request to keep my doodles hair long. They buzzed him down without explanation!!.I can’t believe how disrespectful they are and how expensive!!! Go somewhere else!!!!

We just moved to Williamsburg and needed to find a groomer for our cavapoo. The folks At Doggies were super attentive and accommodating to our schedules! They gave our pup a cute and clean cut - perfect for summer! Will definitely be back again :)

I’ve taken my dog here 3x. The bald guy is always super rude and dismissive whenever I’ve tried to talk to him about how I’d like my dog’s hair cut. I thought maybe he’d had some tough days and decided to give him the benefit of the doubt and take my dog there again - bad move. Today when I picked up my dog, he was visibly shaken and has been acting scared ever since. He’s usually super bubbly and now he cowers when I try to pet him, which he’s never ever done. When I text with them they don’t seem worried for his well being and their responses feel dismissive. Something’s up. Will absolutely not be back.

Best groomer in Williamsburg. My puppy is not the best with new people and new places and was taken care of beautifully here at Doggie Styles. We went here consistently for two years. Now that we have moved to Carroll Gardens, I may just have to make the commute because they do such a great job.

This is an AWESOME place to take your Dog. My dog ALWAYS comes out looking beautiful and happy. I never even tell Mike what i want done i just trust Mike to make her look good. Prices are very reasonable ESPECIALLY for the quality you get. My biggest pet peeve at grooming places is that they don’t clean the mouth properly but my Lexi always comes out smelling amazing from this shop. Customer service is awesome for both pets and owners 😊😂 !

I took my Wheaten terrier here for the first time today and I’m SO happy with how she turned out. We will be back for sure! Mike is super knowledgeable and professional, Yubaba looks like a show dog. The price was very reasonable considering it took plus three hours to groom her, I have no complaints whatsoever.

The men that work here have a bad attitude and never listen to you. They are condescending and will give your dog whatever haircut they please regardless of your preferences. They will then give you the run around and make really inadequate, often offensive excuses. Major gaslighting and one of the worst grooming spots I’ve ever taken my pet to. My dog has also been hurt and has scratched bloodied skin, presumably by the shaving device, behind the ear. Just spare yourself and go elsewhere. The bad reviews of this establishment are in earnest.

Really mediocre. About $35 more expensive than my old place, very little attention to detail, and they cut my dog. She looks just as scruffy as when I brought her in, and her butt fur isn’t well shaped, it’s like they barely did any work. Definitely will be looking elsewhere.

The team at Doggie Styles has been taking care of our dog for three years and always are wonderful and do an amazing job, even though she’s anxious and sometimes a jerk She always comes out looking fantastic and they treat her like she is actually a sweet dog. Our Golden Retriever is happy, clean, well groomed and likes Mike and his team. That’s good enough for us! Mike is a great communicator, there’s never delays to our appointment times and it’s also clean + they play Opera music. Pricing for services is good for BK! Thank you!!

This place was great! Got my pup a bath and a nail trim. He came out soft and clean and looking quite proud of himself. Definitely recommend. Bonus that the location has tons of stuff around to do while you wait.

Such a cute shop with friendly staff that seem like they really care about the animals. I saw them comforting a nervous pup and it was a great experience! I will be back

Moved to the area and took my schnauzer here based on the good reviews. I liked how it was a small place without a ton of dogs and the staff was friendly, however the schnauzer cut was not good at all and the groomer cut the eyelashes which had been growing for 2 years down to the eyelids. :(

I’ve been bringing my Yorkie to Michael for 10 years, he’s the best—always groomed exactly how I want, super careful, and fairly priced.

Convenient for nail clipping as they can set appointments through text. The visit was so efficient, especially considering that our dog hates having her paws touched and usually makes it difficult. Will be back.

Got my pup’s nails clipped here and they got it done in 30 seconds! Impressive especially since I have a Shiba Inu who always gives groomers a hard time. Would go back 10/10

Best groomer in New York! They are so artistic with my dog Eli! He gets so many compliments! They are also very reasonably priced.

Yesterday I was disturbed to look in and not only see a very small dog about 12 pounds screaming because it was so scared of the blowdryer but to then see the groomer hit the dog in the head multiple times and then grab it by it’s neck while it was still crying. The dog already had a muzzle on and the man handling him or her was quite large. He also held the dog by its ear as it cried. I told the owner Of the shop and he didn’t do much besides tell the guy to stop. This happened at 1130am on March 4th to a small white fluffy dog. If you are reading this and this may be your dog I would not continue to bring your dog here. There were many other options besides hitting and aggressively holding someone’s dog you are in charge of caring for.

My puppy always gets a great groom here! Won’t take her anywhere else, because Doggy Styles is the best :)

Staff is dismissive and did not take into account at all how I wanted my dog to be cut. She came out scared and we really don’t like what she looks like. We will definitely not be coming back

This place is amazing, brought our rescue pup there and the staff was understanding and made sure our little fury guy had the best experience possible.

The only place I trust to bring my Husky, they always style her just right and brush her out which decreases shedding by alot ~

Mike is such a Wonderful, Caring friendly groomer. Ive been taking my Susie to Doggy Style since 2008. He is great with the dogs and takes his job seriously. Now my Lulu is also been going to Mike almost a year now. His prices are reasonable . I super Recommend him 100 plus Percent.

Ive taken my Maltechon here three times. I ask for a pretty creative cut(Mohawk & chops). Each time its been perfect and improved. Needless to say, well be going back again soon.

Love Amber!!! There are very few (ie no other) folks who know how to trim a gal with a beard (Brussels griffon) in Portland. Amber is very thorough and very kind. Always recommend her to fellow griff owners!

They managed to KILL a dog. DONT COME HERE!

Mike really cares about his work and it shows in the dogs he grooms. A doggie haircut takes about two hours...at least. Most dogs (my dog for sure) get really squimish when they have to places they dont like...but my dog doesnt mind going at all..which I think is a testament to DS.
