This store needs to be shut down immediately. I know so many people have reported them for animal neglect, so I don’t understand how they have been allowed to remain open. I passed by today and saw one dog in the window display, he was small and clearly underfed. Even with fur, too much bone was visible to be considered at healthy weight. He was on a pile of shredded newspaper and eating some of the paper— a further indication of inadequate feedings. My heart broke so much. No animal should ever have to be subjected to such cruelty and this one puppy is not an anomaly. Horrible place that needs to be shut down for good.

Grooming Services: BEWAREI am so disappointed with their services. On their intake form I specifically asked for a trim and to not use any razors just scissors. I explained the same thing to the groomer… clean the face, paws and hygiene area. They did the opposite of what I asked and completely shaved all his hair. They didn’t shave off his face but it’s uneven…. My dog had less than full inch of hair. He had no nots, as I had brushed him a day before.If they couldn’t do what I asked they should have called me. They gave him to the skin cut that I can see areas where he is red.See pictures of what he looked like before and now ….

Went in to see the price of the dogs, just to find them in a display with no water, little to no food and sleeping on pieces of paper on the floor.. its sad and cruel and these people show no care or love for these animals. They need to be shut down immediately, and permanently.

They are friendly and knowledgeable. As you can see, were at the pet store ALOT! LOLThe ferret was not harmed. She loves playing with her furry brothers.

Dirty and smelled terrible. Very little dog supplies and they are selling a puppy from a puppy mill in the front with no toys or bed in the cage. Very sad shop

I recommend this place my catfish are doing very nicely and the shop well put together I shall return

I had a bad experience with the store, they sold me a stolen chocolate labrador, upon calling the dpt of health to enquire about relicensing the dog in my name, days later I received a call from the owner, who had filed a police report, HE looked for the tag number to pop up somewhere, in a shelter or pet store, so he could claim the dog.Fortunately I understood the dilemma the owner was going through, secondly I would not be able to get a new license since the dog was stolen from its owners car.I do not recommend anyone doing business with Wonder Pet Corp, they are conducting illegal activities, accepting stolen animals, put them aside to sell to unknowing buyers, putting peoples lives at risk, of getting arrested with stolen property.To turn around and resale the animals for profit while the owners lost causes pain and suffering, also causing the new parent, much sufferings unnecessarily.I intend to sue them in a court of law, their actions are malicious and unfair to the prospective buyers 🤔 😒 . I am suffering 😫 because I miss my puppy.

I made an appt to get my dog to get groomed for 10/3. I verbally called in 10/2, gave specific details on what services my dog would need based on the information given to me for my consolation walk-in.I was told over the phone that my appt had been booked for the last time slot and that I was to come in with my dog. I visited the store today(taking a half day worth of PTO to ensure I made the appointment slot). I was told by the groomer that my appointment had not been properly booked and that she was leaving for the day and that I could try for tomorrow. After I expressed I took time off for the appointment and couldn’t request another personal day last minute I was told sorry and there was nothing else that could be done.Based on what I saw, all appointments were being documented by hand in a composite notebook and did not look very organized. The lack of organization, communication, sympathy and flexibility is why I will not ever return to this facility.

I took my dog there for grooming yesterday. The mistake I made was not asking the price before leaving her. Anyway, we showed them a picture of what we needed and the young man that works there, took a copy of the picture to show/tell the groomer, which he did. We specifically said we did not want the hair on her ears to be cut and also to leave her whiskers. When I went to pick up our beloved dog, she got a full trim...All the hair on her ears were gone and no whiskers!!!! To top it off they charged me a whopping $119!!!! I almost fainted! I have NEVER paid that to a groomer for the 2 years we have had her. NEVER!!! The young man who works there took $110 which was still too much. He was also explaining that it’s a new groomer and he will speak to management. Because the groomer messed up on the haircut and trim they promised us that the next time, we will be given a discount. THAT WILL BE MY LAST TIME TAKING MY PET THERE!!!

The staff is friendly and knowledgeable! I go to them and have them look at my frenchie and tell me what the get before ever going to the vet and theyve given nothing but solid advice so far! Theyve helped with runny poops, throwing up, and general upkeep like how to clean his ears and tear stains

I had a great experience going there! Everyone in that store is very welcoming, always ready to help with whatever you need. Especially the guy with the guages in his ears, he is super friendly and gives every customer his time, will answer all the questions that you have with a smile and will not show any sign of irritation even if you ask him a thousands of questions. My only concern is their products limitation probably will not find everything that you are looking for but I guarantee you that your experience there will be great! Definitely will be my #1 store for my puppy.

Amazing team. I boarded my baby pit and they took very very good care of him. I was having a hard time training him to potty outside and after his stay he started doing it!!! Thank you to the entire staff for loving my baby while I was away and also teaching him. The staff is great you will not be disappointed!

Terrible groomers. Moved in up the block a few months ago and thought I would try it out.Went in over the summer with my miniature golden doodle for a cut. Specificly, and multiple times, asked for NOT A POODLE CUT but a trim on a teddy cut. Also brushed my dog for an hour before taking her in for the cut, to make sure their were no knots in her hair. They sent her back to me with exactly what I asked not for and told me that they had to because of all the knots in her hair. They gave this poor dog a lion cut, it was embarrassing.In 3.5 years of getting hair cuts for this dog, this was hands down the worst haircut she ever had. 100% going back to our old spot.

This store is a known puppy mill and has terrible conditions that do not accommodate the animal they house. This needs to be shut down immediately. Images have been sent to the NYS attorney General as well as the humane society.

Terrible! Its like people dont understand, yes its your store and you supply the product, but you still have to greet the customer!!!! Walk in and everyone just looking at you. They must full the register with their money from the way they acted like they didnt need my sale.

Workers are very nice but its too expensive i asked the price of a parakeet which is between 12.99 or 14.99 but they was selling there for 50.00. there prices for finches was also expensive usually price is 23.99 or 26.99 it was 79.99i have my own pets so i do know the prices of the pets i buy

Great service but they over charged me for every item! Tropical hay goes for at least no more than 15 dollars for 48oz than charged me 20$ for taxes .

Went in just to look around because I was visiting ny and walked by and just wanted to see the animals but I left abruptly after seeing the conditions of which the animals are kept very said definitely looks like a puppy mill associated business very disappointing to see absolutely no care or compassion towards the state of their animals it seems

This place is so gross. I would not recommend buying anything from here. As many people mentioned, there are roaches everywhere, the animals are dirty, and I did not find the staff knowledgeable on pet welfare. It’s part-time workers who sit around on their phones. They don’t care about animal well-being.

Abuse and neglect that is well documented online. Dirty, cramped cages. Animals stuck in cages with nowhere to use the bathroom, not cleaned properly even after. Shameful.

Went in and saw so many pets in dirty and small tank conditions. Guinea pigs need hay and they did not even have it or a hideout. The rats were in dirty tanks. Fish in dirty water, birds overcrowded and the worst was a dog sad with no water! Very upsetting animals should not be like this. I have most of these pets at home so i know this is not the condition they should be in...

Need you guys to stick to your posted store hours. It’s a huge inconvenience when a customer (me & I’m sure many others) are trying to purchase items and you’re closed at random times…. What’s the point of you guys, right?

This place is the worst place to groom your dog. I did not like there service my dog was smelling awful, paws was still dirty, and was traumatized after being groom by the place.

This place is gross and it is so obvious that they’re a puppy mill. All their animals are sickly and neglected and they NEED to be shut down.

I hope theyre taking good care of the puppies they have displayed in the window they didnt look too good. It broke my heart looking at them 💔 it was extremely hot to have them displayed like that.

Great experience. People that worked there were very pleasant. They also have super cute cats and dogs

Honestly Ive had a pretty good experience with this store.I bought 10 gold fish for 1 dollar and they havent died.

The most nastiest pet store I’ve ever been in . Roaches on the fish tank . Guinea pigs over crowded in there small cages and the stench almost made me throw up . Looks nice from the outside though.

Wonderful Wonder pets indeed. They have a decent range in variety when it comes to pets. I believe they get new animals every month or so, I could be wrong. But none the less the wait isnt a real problem if they currently dont have the pet youve been longing for.

Literally crawling with roaches, you will see them everywhere! Good selection of pets but some are crammed/sick/smell terrible. Puppy breeder so you’re likely to pay $3k for an ugly little health issue ridden dog that will cost you tens of thousands in vet bills in the future (and doesn’t have any of its shots or neuter/spay so that’s already $500+ in vet bills). I will say they carry a big variety of pet supplies, but watch out for overcharging. They want $20 for a cardboard cat scratcher that’s $8 on Amazon. Please! Shady people, disgusting shop, big selection of overpriced products. Hustling animals to the point of disgusting conditions/neglect is wrong. Try not to bring a roach home with you lol

Its really just a bootleg Petland Discount that recently closed down across the street. Dont get me wrong I respect the business effort, there isnt a petstore in the neighborhood that sells puppy. The only other stores that I know of is the Brooklyn Paw House, PetSmart on Atlantic and the Petco thats I believe towards kings plaze off of Flatbush(might be more but I cant recall).

By far the worst experience at this pet store. Some context- my family and I were looking for a closer place to have my 8 month dog groomed as the place we used to go to was a bit far.. so we found Wonder Pets which is a 15 min. walk from my house. The staff has zero knowledge of animals or of thier job. Not only did they accuse my mother and I of not having an appointment to later find out that they misplaced the note as they hand write appointments, they also had no idea how to read my dogs medical records that stated that all his vaccinations up to date, so they sent us away. I tried to explain that he is up to date with all his shots but instead of trying to understand, he insisted that he needed this one shot. The paper work clearly stated, in highlight, that his vaccinations are up to date. Even then he refused to accept my dog. So! We drove to our vet to get another copy stating which vaccines are needed for grooming including all other shots and when we showed him he stated that the groomer had left for the day. Not to even apologize for this mishap, the Latino guy with the guages in his ear just starred at us defending himself with a smirk on his face throwing the blame on us saying no one made you go to the vet. LOL! Ok. He was very condescending and passive aggressive and clearly did not care how he treated his customers. Then he actually asked if wed like to reschedule.. that was cute. Would not reccomend this place. It was dirty as hell too. Yuck.
