Zen Animal and Gabriella,Below are pictures of my dog who is not even 2 yrs old before the haircut on Christmas Day and after VANESSA the technician butchered her and claimed she is balding!!!I am writing to express my extreme dissatisfaction and concern regarding the carelessness and lack of professionalism Gabriella and her Groomers have! the grooming services provided to my dog during her recent visit. The damage that was done is deeply troubling, and I feel that I need to address this situation immediately. So this doesnt happen to other pups and dog parents.1.    Bald Spot: My dog now has a noticeable bald spot near her eyebrows and forehead. This is unacceptable and shows a lack of proper care during her grooming. Completely uneven haircuts that was supposed to be a puppy cut.2.    Nails: Her nails were poorly done—some were cut unevenly, others were left unfiled, and some were even left too long. This is both a safety issue and a clear sign of substandard grooming.3.    Hygiene Cut: I paid for a hygiene cut, but it was clearly not performed. This is a basic expectation, and it was not met.Additionally, when I asked the front desk agent to call the owner Gabriella immediately and he did right infant of me. She told him to informed me that she was in the mountain with bad reception, and that she was unavailable for a conversation. However, this was in direct contrast to the fact that I could clearly hear her tell him this over the phone with no issues of the reception where she was.  This was an excuse to avoid addressing my concerns and the mess her groomer made!!!It has now been over three days since she said she would call me, and I have not received any follow-up or apology from Gabriella. This lack of response is adding to my frustration and concern for the well fair of the other peoples dog/family members well-being.I expect immediate action on this matter.  I am extremely disappointed by the carelessness and lack of professionalism shown.

This is my go to grooming place and I love it. Even after I moved from the area I still come back for my dog’s grooming. The place is clean and they do an amazing job with the haircut. Above all I know they take care of my yorkie Emmy with gentleness and care which is what matters most to me!

Zen Animals is the first place to truly care for my anxious pup. He enters and exits with a wagging tail and I would highly recommend this place for grooming!! Thank you Zen Animals!! Peanut loves you!!

I took my mini poodle here on 4/19. This was Nala’s first time ever getting groomed. I was very nervous at first, especially after reading the reviews on here. But someone I knew had referred me, so I definitely took a chance. Nala looked so cute with her haircut + bath! She came out looking like a whole new dog. The staff is friendly & the place was clean. Will definitely be returning.

I had my cat washed and groomed. She is an older cat and hates water. I was pleasantly surprised to hear that she was cooperative. I was very happy with the ease of making an appt, their availability and the service. She looks and smells great after a season of rolling around in the backyard.

I have a 16 year old Bichon Frise named Foo Foo, an 8 year old Shitzu named Prince and a 4 month old Poochon named Bruno. My boys love Zen Groomers. Foo Foo and Prince have been going to Zen for more than a year. And my 4 month old, Bruno just had his first grooming session yesterday. Zen Groomers are totally worth it. Ive taken them to several Groomers in the past and each time, theyve been either scared to walk in, crying alot, and just trying to find ways to leave. This is the first Groomer my dogs havent tried to fight to leave. They seem happy when I pick them up and even show love to some of the staff. The receptionist are really kind and take the time to ask specifically what we want and they never disappoint. My boys come out looking and smelling clean, and well groomed. Receptionist also offer to apply free fragrance oil to your dog if you like. I would highly recommend Zen Groomers. I was skeptical at first to try a new Groomer since I value the quality of care my boys receive and want them to receive the BEST. However, after trying them out, my boys first experience was great. Im happy to bring them back to their new Zen Grooming home and I know my 16 year old can be a hand full lol. So Im grateful for the work they provide. You cant tell me, my boys arent cute and well groomed!! 😍P.S. the owner Gabriella is awesome. Shes very attentive and responsive to phone calls. If shes unable to answer, I always get a text requesting if I need anything and to check in with my visit.

Sometimes, they take cards; sometimes, they dont. Think its just a way to commit tax fraud by underreporting income.When I had my dog groomed there, he would always come back with cuts.

DO NOT BRING YOUR PET HERE. I had my dog groomed here and it was a horrible experience. The appointment booking process was awful, a mess! The only way they accepted payment was through zelle…which is sketchy for a brick-and-mortar. And the treatment of animals here is horrendous. Its ironic that its called Zen Animals because there is nothing zen about this place. As soon as you walk in the dogs are going crazy, they don’t want to be there. When I picked up my dog, she had bloodshot eyes from being strangled while grooming. When I sent a picture to the owner and asked what happened, they said it was just a “cherry”. “ dogs get them all the time and they should go away soon” I know what a cherry is. This was not a cherry. The amount of long term damages choking can cause on dogs is very scary and can shorten their life span. These unprofessional people, who service animals, are not even trained to manage the animals they are servicing. Its disgusting to treat animals like this and even worse trying to lie about it and pretend it’s not a big deal. I was soo heartbroken to see my dog when i picked her up. DO NOT TRUST THESE PEOPLE.- just to follow up on this, my dog has had issues with her trachea and issues breathing ever since her visit here. If you value your dogs life do not bring them here!

Had a last minute emergency and Zen Animals took care of Future so well!!! I am from out of town and walked in and they were so kind to me and to Future. They got Future cleaned right up and brushed her and she looks amazing

I specifically requested a trim for Max, and they gave him a full hair cut. They don’t know how to follow directions on what the pet owner wants, I showed a photo of the style I wanted. Not even close! Not to mention, how unprofessional and suspicious I find that they from the start say “we don’t accept credit card” but when they saw me having trouble with the payment then they were willing to accept it. Nevertheless, the extra $25 charge for few nots, shouldn’t that be included in the price? And you can not argue this with me. I shower Max every week, and I make sure his nots are fully gone. So I doubt he had that many to charge extra. As a grooming business owner you should know the challenges you face with pets, and charging extra for each little thing you find down the road seems very unpleasant to me. Long story short… I paid $175 for a hair cut that could’ve cost me $80 with a local groomer. Max didn’t even smell like anything, no perfume, nor like shampoo.

Today I took my pups to you for grooming and tooth brushing! I am sad to say that I have lost confidence in your careful treatment of my pets! Previously my puppy’s claw was cut till it bled! I let it go and I thought we would utilize your service again.However, today, my puppy’s right ear was bruised awfully and His right eye was sorely irritated almost shut! I’m also sad to say that I trusted your technicians and did not check him over before I left the shop!I truly believe that you are liable for the way you handled the our pet today!

We just walked by at 8 pm and saw a big shepherd/ husky mix dog lying completely alone in a shopwindow like, enclosed space - alone and visibly uncomfortable. The daycare was closed and nobody was there we looked, waited and called. I would never leave my pet here - no responsible daycare would leave a dog completely alone in a locked facility without water. I hope the dog is ok and whoever owns him/her picks them up very soon.

We took our dachshund here to get groomed for the first time and were very pleased with the results! She came back looking beautiful, smelling great, and was not stressed as she tends to be when she gets groomed. We’ll definitely be back!

We went for the first time on 11/2 and had such a great experience. The owner, Gabby, is very friendly and really values her salon/customers. She made scheduling an appointment really easy and answered all my questions. The gentleman who groomed Luna did a great job, despite how difficult she can be. I will continue to bring my fur baby back, thanks again!

Archie had an amazing grooming experience yesterday for his very first haircut! They took their time and gave him a lot of breaks to play with the other dogs so it was a fun time for him! He is 5 months old and behaved very well they said! Would highly recommend Zen Animals for anyone looking for top quality service. 🌿🐾

I bring both of my dogs here for grooming and they always do an excellent job. I really appreciate that they take around 4-6 hours for each pup; giving them little breaks between to avoid stress. Highly recommended!*My only comment is I wish they replied to calls.Here is a before and after of my dog bobby who was absolutely filthy from rolling in the dirt with his overgrown hair.

Went to pick up my dog from daycare, I called prior to my arrival to let them know I would arrive at 6:45 and was told that was fine. When I arrived the location was closed, no one was there, and there was a sign stating that the location hours now closed at 6:30, not 7:00 as it had always been. Other dog owners arrived outside and started to panic because we could not get our dogs. I called the 3 numbers listed for the location repeatedly with no answer.An employee came back after walking a boarding dog and told us the hours had been changed and management was supposed to notify us via text and email. We all shared none of us had received any message and that any representative we had spoken with earlier that day had made no mention that the hours had been suddenly changed.I wrote to management and was told “I’m sorry to hear that! We have, however, updated our hours and make sure to put a big poster on the front door stating the new hours.”I asked how does a poster notify the customers (that are under the impression the previous hours are still in effect) when arriving for pickup, if a text message or email was not sent out previously to inform them the hours have changed? A representative saw my missed calls and followed up the next day asking if Management had reached out but Management never responded (via email, text or phone), and took no responsibility for the lack of communication.The poor employee was visibly stressed trying to manage everyone as we were quite upset at not being notified. Honestly it was so lucky that this employee was still there otherwise we would not have been able to pickup our dogs. I will not be returning, this was too close for comfort.

I was looking for a grooming place for my nine year old Yorkie. I came across Zen Animals and decided to give them a try. I loved that the name was Zen and that it is Woman-owned ☺️. Appointment making was easy and they called to confirm. The place is indeed very zen and clean and smelled amazing! They have a no-cage doggy daycare and the pups seemed very happy. When I came to pick up my fur boy he looked so handsome and the young lady at the front desk asked if I wanted to put some smell goods on him and he still smells fabulous hours later. He seemed very relaxed and content on the walk home and hes so calm now that were home. I even got a little discount for being a first time customer. Ill definitely be going back. Cant wait to try out doggy day care!

Brought my dog here to get his hair cut/bath. Get a message from them roughly 30-40 min later that he is done and ready to be picked up. That was quite surprising, as it wouldve been the fastest bath/haircut Id heard of. I asked if they were sure and they said yes, so I headed back over.When I arrive to pick up my dog, the dog they walked out to give me was absolutely NOT my dog. Looked nothing like him.After some talking with their team they realized their mistake, and naturally it took my dog quite a bit longer to actually get his bath/haircut. I just sat outside waiting because I didnt want him to be given to someone else.Do not take your dog here. There are better places to go to in the area. I cannot recommend this place in good faith either due to their negligence.

If I could give you 0 starts I would. BEAWARE : may potentially be mistreating animals. I booked a service for my cat to be groomed, he came back to me with a weird substance on his nose they could not explain, PATCHY AND limping on his back right leg. You can literally tell they just held him down shaved a little and then gave up. He’s a long hair breed and looks very patchy now. The owner gives child vibes, and the people she has working in the shop are also disorganized,young, or simply oblivious. The cashier over charged me for the service she claims by accident only for my cat to be returned to me VISBALLY WITHDRAWN AND UNCOMFORTABLE aside from his coat looking a HOT MESS. He’s been groomed here before and I did not have this experience with him. I know my cat. Well enough to know that he was bothered/hurt while there. The owner threatened to not give me a refund if I posted a honest review of what happened. What type of business is this? At first glance I was very happy to start grooming with zen animals, after this experience I WILL NEVER RETURN AND WARN OTHER PETOWNERS. WATCH WATCH WATCH THEM when they service your pet do not leave their side, ENSURE they are not being mistreated with people you thought you could trust. Not to mention, the services anit cheap!

This place was on point the first 2 tines. But now today my Dog been there since 12:15PM I just pick her up 8PM. THEY not do 100% on my dog like what the package included. They Said that she been ready since but no call. They also Siad they only had 1 groomer so why the hell you over booked your appointment. SMH!!! I guess they had a bad day. Im not it get more groomer or take less booking. 🤬🤬🤬🤬

We have been bringing our greyhound here for years even before it was Zen Animals for boarding and grooming and we LOVE IT! The service is always incredibly friendly and our dog loves staying there when were out of town. Gabriella is very responsive and helpful with any questions weve had. Though our dog doesnt have much to groom due to her short slick hair, every time we bring our dog home she smells FANTASTIC! As a bonus shes usually exhausted from playing with other friendly dogs and sleeps for a solid day. We love Zen Animals and recommend it to anyone in the Bed Stuy neighborhood!

I walked by Zen Animals at midnight and saw a severely distressed dog sitting on a ledge alone by a window. The dog was barking and howling incessantly with its ears back. There were multiple piles of feces and pee on the floor of its enclosure (photos below). I saw one empty water bowl. I was really horrified to see a dog being neglected and put under such stress, and I am writing this review because if this were my dog I would want to know what went on while I was away.The website advertises that “caring pet handlers are on site 24 hours,” but no one was attending to this dog or cleaning up its waste. I would feel extremely uncomfortable sending my dog here for overnight boarding.

Ive been a loyal customer of Zen Animals for some time and have generally been pleased with the grooming services for my dog. The last grooming session was particularly great; they listened to my requirements and even added a little tie for my pup!However, I recently discovered a troubling new clause in their grooming agreement. It states that if an accident occurs on their premises and my dog needs to be rushed to the vet, I will be responsible for the costs. This feels unreasonable and seems to shift liability away from the business. As a pet owner, I expect that a groomer should be accountable for the care of my dog while in their hands. I believe they should have insurance to cover such situations, rather than placing the financial burden on the pet owner.I also attempted to reach out to the owner via text message to discuss this concern but did not receive a response. Pet parents, please be mindful of this policy when considering Zen Animals. It’s important to be aware of the terms and conditions, as it impacts trust in their services.

I dropped my dog off here for grooming and when I picked her up she could not open her left eye. The receptionist agreed not to charge me for the service as they injured our dog. Still unable to open her eye a day later, I took her to the vet who diagnosed here with a “severe” corneal ulcer requiring 4 medications, a week in a cone, three vet visits, and 3 and 1/2 weeks for her to heal. The vet confirmed with us that her eye had been scratched with a sharp object, possibly scissors.The shop owner agreed to pay the vet fee but only if we paid the $90 grooming fee accusing me of leaving the his business and “refusing to pay” despite being informed of his staff waiving the fee. It took weeks of conversations to get him to pay for the damage done to our dog. When he did agree to waive the grooming fee, it was on the condition that we would not be welcome back to his business.

Groomer Jonathan came to our home and took very good care of our Rottie, Cairo. Groomer Jonathan explained Everything that would take place during Cairos grooming session, in order to that we would be pleased with the outcome. After Cairos grooming session, he looked and smelled AMAZING!! I would definitely obtain Jonathans services in the future. I highly recommend him. Such a special place, a blessed place. The owner Gabrielle is the purest of virtue, and kindness, a beautiful soul/person. You can know and trust your little fur children will be treated with love and kindness. My boy raffy loves his harness, and I love both the harness and the leash both purchased at dog wash n go- as a note he’s hard to shop for being a large 100 lb rednose pit. FINALLY we found the perfect harness bought at the best go to dog care pet supply shop in the Brooklyn!

Reckless and Borderline Animal AbuseI brought my cat, Salem (long haired fluffy domestic black cat), to Zen animals yesterday to have him groomed and sort out some mats in his fur. I mentioned on the phone while making the appointment that he had some serious matting behind his ear and on his lower back towards the tail but didn’t need his nails touched. When I got to the location I showed Thiago, the groomer, where the matting was and explained how I just need the matts sorted even if he needs to shave them. I also said to both the groomer and receptionist, Monica, that he didn’t need the nails touched. When I came to pick up Salem, he was COMPLETELY shaved down, which is not what I asked. I was so in shock at what Salem looked like. Monica explained that the shaving was necessary or else the matting wouldn’t be able to come out. However, the owner of the location, Gabriella, texted me that a shedding remedy added on to the package could’ve been able to remove them. I was not informed of this obviously until after the fact and it was TOO LATE. Had they been more clear about their packages and how they deal with matting this could have been avoided.When I got home, Salem stumbled out of the carrier and started bumping into things. I picked him up and noticed he was bleeding from his nipples and so was his paw. He ran under the bed and refused to come out until the next day. He’s normally a really friendly energetic cat and loves to be around people so that was incredibly odd. This morning I noticed he kept bumping into things and even knocked a vase over. Salem has never had any issues like this and never knocks anything over he’s far more aware of his surroundings. Turns out they TRIMMED HIS WHISKERS!! WHY WOULD YOU DO THAT TO A CAT??? Whiskers are necessary to a cat’s understanding of their surrounding and Salem’s had been CHOPPED OFF! I got a chance to look at his nails and saw they were cut down so much, nearly to the skin! My poor cat was literally traumatized at this groomer. They also didn’t put his collars back on so I was stuck trying to coordinate with the owner of the location on how to retrieve them. Gabriella messaged me that someone was going to drop them off to me at home. The individual that was supposed to drop off the collars had come unannounced so I wasn’t even home to collect them. There was a huge miscommunication in regards to the services I needed for my cat and in regards to receiving Salem’s collars. I asked for a refund and the collars. Apparently the groomer, Thiago, is an independent contractor and Gabriella said 50% of the price went to him and 50% to her, which she offered me. She would have to ask him if he would be willing to refund me. He also lied to her and said he never touched Salem’s face but (as you can see in the photos) clearly that was a lie because HIS WHISKERS WERE TRIMMED!!!!! I was also offered 50% off my next service but based on this experience I would really never come back here. MY CAT IS TRAUMATIZED!!!I’ve only given 2 stars because Gabriella was very communicative and made an attempt to really make things right with me as a customer, offering to drop the collars and refund me her portion of the commission. I would 100% recommend that she stop using reckless independent contractors and have a permanent groomer on site.

Took my baby Kenzo yesterday and felt so comfortable as soon as I walked in the staff was wonderful and the job they did was amazing the cut the trim and the smell thank you guys so much,see u soon

I’m finally happy with Tilly‘s haircut! Also, her hair is so silky and she smells incredible! Last but not the least, I can tell that she had a great time there!

Zen Animal Pet Spa has got to be the best animal grooming services in Brooklyn. I’ve taken my dog Brody there for the past year and each and every single time he comes home HAPPY, Healthy, looking and smelling his complete BEST. The owner Gabriella is there sweetest. She is always willing work with me in any way from advise about what’s best for Brody down to throwing in surprise discounts just to show her appreciation for her customers. This is truly a 5 star establishment.

We have boarded our dog 3 times and each time she’s worse for it. The last two times, Zen didn’t give our dog her meds and lost our water dish. This last time, I show up at the scheduled time and nobody is there to open the door and they don’t pick up the phone. The manager calls for a follow up, but it’s for their records and doesn’t offer a refund. It’s a needed neighborhood biz, but the quality is unacceptable.

My 2 babies 18 months old Yorkies💕. I Was so surprised that there cuts looked so wonderful 💖 And they were so relaxed and happy when I arrived for their pick up. I have my found my babies there forever Groomer with Ms Gabrielle 💕

If I could give this place 0 starts I would. I have a Lagotto Romangolo NOT a doodle and despite me showing the person exactly how much to cut off they chopped all of his curls off. ALL of them and cut the hair on his face WHICH YOU SHOULD NEVER DO for a lagotto. The grooming is also unbelievably uneven and I can not believe that I spent $120 to make my dog look like this

This was our first time bringing Sunny, and we were so happy. She actually seemed happy to have been groomed-which is never the case! We will be back again.

Gabby and her team are awesome and very communicative. I’ve been bringing my disabled corgi mix here for a few years and they’ve always treated her with tender care and given her stellar haircuts. I highly recommend these guys if you have a dog with special needs—they went out of their way to accommodate my pup. They also have great communication whether it’s haircuts/grooming or boarding.

I can’t describe how happy and satisfied I am with everything. I have a Shepardoodle, he is super friendly, but I know it can be a lot since he is super big. Took him there for a bath and he looks so great, his hair is super fluffy and he smells really good! I am definitely taking him there again whenever he needs it and I highly recommend!The staff communication is also really great and the space super cute and clean.

My dog was super matted and they did an amazing job and gave me tips on how to keep her groomed between visits...and their products are all NATURAL that was refreshing...and my dog smelled amazing when i picked her up definitely 5 stars..

My long haired cat was extremely matted, and also had ingrown claws which was quiet painful for my senior cat. And they took time and care and groomed her well. My cat is happy and no anxiety. I would definitely recommend them for grooming. I felt the price was reasonable.

My 4 month old puppy looked and smelled great after grooming at Zen Animals. Clean and very inviting environment. The staff was professional, easy-going and courteous. Will definitely be returning.

Small business great grooming for Dogs. They do an amazing job. They also offer clothes,sweaters and dog supplies. Great place. If you are worried about the price you can,ask before you drop your dog off.

Zen Animals usually takes care of my Max however, the service has been slacking especially today. I am very upset that I paid 101 dollars and my white dog still looks as if he was not bathed, his nails not clipped and damp.

Our English bulldog seemed to really love his appointment at Zen Animals and his coat is SO soft and clean. He even makes less noise on the wood floors thanks to his nail filing! Well definitely book another appointment for our pup. They took great care of our dog, whose got sensitive skin. Thank you!

The one star is honestly being far too courteous. This was my very first experience with this place and I was really disgusted with the service from my entry down to picking up my dog. The receptionist if, you wish to call her that, was not welcoming at all. I was greeted in the manner of, you have an appointment? No hello, how are you, or welcome to Zen animals... next the young lady who checked my dog in was so busy chit-chatting with another person, she wasnt giving me the time I needed as a new customer. Picking him up, he was handed back to me washed, without a hair or his nails cut. So I waited nearly another 45 minutes for him to be cut, again... his nails werent. It was already closing time and I was too frustrated to discuss my concerns, I called the very next day and to speak to the owner. Instead, I made my complaint the very next morning as my dog did not have ANYTHING DONE and I paid $106 in services and had to return for him to be re-treated and was a bit decent when I picked him up. The shop doesnt not smell holistic as advertised online smells more like the ZOO or dead animals. Its odd that you call a business and cant speak to anyone but miraculous they text you back. I will never return to this establishment nor refer anyone

They did a great job with my chihuahua/yorkie mix! She stayed the night for boarding and had grooming done while she was there as well. They did a great job with the grooming (best she’s ever had), she smelled so good! The shop also smells amazing (not the normal grooming/boarding wet dog smell) and is so clean. They don’t do kennels for boarding which is great because who wants to leave their pup in a kennel while they’re gone. They were also very accommodating with letting me drop my pup off before they opened so I could get to my shift at the hospital on time. Gabriella (the owner) is very responsive via text/call which is great! I will definitely be coming back and recommending them to other dog moms/dads in Brooklyn.

I had such a wonderful first experience at Zen Animals! The owner Gabriella is super nice and accommodating. She treated my baby Melo with such care before taking him in. What I loved the most is their huge play area so the dogs can socialize while waiting. They even had some dogs playing behind the counter. This really proved how much they care for the pets as opposed to some other places that keep them locked in cages. I was told it would be approximately 2hrs to complete and he was finished earlier. I was extremely impressed with his cut, I asked for an inch off and they did exactly that. Amazing job, loving his face and the work on his paws. Not to mention the complimentary essential oil before leaving, such a lovely touch ✨ 3 days later he still smells amazing! Thank you so much! We will definitely back. Much love 💛🐾🐾

I won’t ever be bringing my dog back here. poor guy had to be there for nearly 6 hours yesterday and he wasn’t even done when i pulled him out and his cut is totally raggedy. at “who’s your doggy” it takes them 1-2 hours to clean and cut him perfectly (but they were busy so took him to zen). it seems like they totally overbook to get more appointments in; they told me it would take 3 maybe 4 hours to do him when i dropped him off. after 4.5 hours i hadn’t heard from them so i called, but no one picked up so i walked over there to pick him up. he had only had a bath and not even started his cut. they said another hour. i showed up another hour later and he was STILL not done. he hates baths and haircuts and it makes him stressed and they just prolonged it for more money. i pulled him out because i was worried and now he has visibly uneven hair with cut marks in many places and his feet look like the gringe lol. also the dogs are constantly barking in there, it sounds like they’re not in a good place; there is never been barking at who’s your doggy when i’ve picked him up. it was an insanely bad experience and i feel bad leaving him there for so long :(

Edit: I have to completely change my rating -- the last time I took her there, the groomer clipped off some skin(!!) and nicked her several times. We didnt see it when we picked her up, and I cant find a way to contact them to tell them. It was bad enough that I had to take her to the emergency vet and they had to sedate her to take care of it. Never again.Previous:We have taken our dog for grooming to Zen Animals three times now, and have had a great experience each time. Booking online is super easy, drop-off is covid-compliant and easy. They take detailed notes on what we want in terms of grooming (length of hair, products etc.), and our dog always comes back looking wonderful. She hated our old groomer and wouldnt even go on that block without resistance, but she goes into Zen Animals very happily. Thank you for running a great place!

Zen animals is such an amazing place! We always try to take our dogs there because we feel they do a very professional job besides they do respect and love animals, and to be honest that’s all we really care about! Everything they use is very natural and also they do not use cages as many other places do (I believe as long as is not necessary). The owner Gabriella is very nice, she always make sure to ask how the service was and I believe for a business that’s very important to keep up!Thank you so much for the amazing job! My dogs look and smell beautiful ❤️

Just went there for the first time today with my dog and I really enjoyed the experience. Initially I was a bit hesitant as my dog is a rescue and has never been bathed at a dog wash before, but I was really happy with how professional and friendly the staff were with both me and my dog. They all love dogs here, and it shows. Upon walking in we were cheerfully greeted by the people at the front desk. They offered to take our coats for us ( such a nice thing to do considering how freezing it was outside) and then showed us where our station was. The staff member helping us was extremely gentle with my dog while he helped leash him in the basin. He is clearly very experienced with getting dogs to feel comfortable in an unfamiliar setting, my dog has a fearful temperament and yet he allowed a total stranger to touch him. We were then shown how to use the tools and even asked if we needed assistance from one of the groomers. Nice to know that there are staff on hand even when you’re grooming your dog yourself. Throughout the wash, my dog was calm as the water pressure and temperature were easy to control. The blow dryer wasn’t too noisy or hot and it was great to have an abundant stack of towels on hand. Aprons were also provided to us so it was great that we weren’t soaked afterward. We asked if we could get our dog’s nails clipped, and the staff member kindly obliged and got a groomer to come by when we were ready. After we were finished, the payment process was super easy. It was convenient to have a selection of pet supplies that we could buy on our way out. And not to mention the free dog treats! We will definitely be coming back here soon.

We had such a good experience with Zen Animals. My dog was given a private crate at no extra cost, Zen animals checked in on me before and after the appointment to make sure my dog was happy and cared for. Also, my dog looked hot af after her appointment! She was clean, happy, and pampered and we will definitely be coming back. Ive had dogs my whole life and Ive been to a lot of bad dog groomers, I am happy I have found some place close to where I live that I trust.

I loved this spot. I walked in with my cat just to see and they got me in day of, trimmed his nails and brushed his teeth super quick, which he does not let me do. I think they also put some essential oil on his little head because he smells great now. Yay

Receptionist is a very unwelcome didn’t even say hello and welcome to zen animals. My first experience there. The groomers were late and there was no heat. mind you it is 7° Outside. They’re not answering their phone so I can’t even check up on my cats. Super expensive for mediocre service. I just hope my cats are treated well and groomed without any issues.

Fabulous experience! Gabriella texted me quotes promptly and made whole process very easy. Groomers arrived and took great care of my puppy. They cleaned up very well and were very nice. It was kinda expensive, but well worth the money to have my puppy groomed at home by professionals. Also the groomers cleaned up so well and were very nice to my puppy and myself.

Im so happy I found this groomer! The only place where my dog is not shaking out his skin in fear as we are walking up to the building and they do such an excellent job! My Shitzu-Poodle is 14 years old and I wish we found this place 14 years ago!

I have a maltipoo and she has very VERY curly hair that mats easily. Typically we work on her before we take her in so it’s less invasive for the groomer but we didn’t have a chance to do it before this visit. The guilt thrown on me as soon as I walked through the door was unreal. We had been coming here for years and because of this experience today I simply took my pup and left and we will NOT return. Such a shame because of the relationship we had built with this team.

Our two dogs always look and smell amazing after we pick them up from a grooming. We typically board them here when we are away, and then schedule the Groomers Bath for the time of pick up. They have always been very professional and caring, and seem to appreciate the dogs. They also offer transport to and from your home for an additional charge, which we dont always do but sometimes when preparing for a trip it is really helpful. They go above and beyond. Love this place.

Our dog Peanut had a much-needed bath, nails, etc. She was done ahead of time. Everyone was helpful and pleasant. The groomer was very considerate. He saw that Peanut was stressed by the blow-out so stopped right away so she wouldnt get more stressed. Its the first time weve gone there. Ive never seen a groomer whose place was so clean! Well definitely go back.

I will never take my dog here again. My double coated Schnauzer was completely shaved down to his skin. The cut was uneven and absolutely horrible. He had been coming to Zen for months before this happened. The justification that I was given from the receptionist was that the I usually bring him on the weekends and today I had go on a weekday. She said that the groomer on the weekend was better with his breed. Regardless of what day I bring him in, I should be able to expect the same level of service. I specifically asked that his eyelashes not be cut and those were also cut off. The groomer said he accidentally cut them off when cutting his face.I will acknowledge that the I spoke to the owner who apologized and tried to resolve it by offering some free services in the future but I am honestly so horrified that I’m afraid to take him there again, even if it’s free.My dog had some matting in his under skirt and that was communicated to me so I agreed to having that cut down. I never agreed to all the his fur being completely removed and cut in uneven patches. When I spoke to the owner she said that the receptionist noted that I requested a blade 7. I don’t even know what the heck a blade 7 is to request that. Am I a barber to ask for blades by name. That makes no sense. The receptionist miscommunicated and this led to my dog looking unrecognizable. More importantly. I am concerned that his coat may never grow back in the same way.I’ve attached photos of grooming that was done on my dog at Zen before. And photos of that happened this time. Never again.

I’ve been bringing my dog here for about two years, and the service used to be amazing and the grooming top-notch. Recently, however, the grooming services I’ve received have been done in a really strange way (in the lobby while an employee was answering the phone with the other hand, for example) and have left me actually having to go to a different location to fix what Zen Animals has done poorly. Also, every single time I have come here since July there have been employees not wearing masks who have come into the small waiting area. I understand it may be uncomfortable to wear it while grooming in the back as the shop is warm, but when the employees approach customers in the front without masks that is unsafe. Also, they’ve stopped accepting credit/debit cards for the last several months when they used to do so and don’t appear to be returning to using those.

I am very disappointed with my recent experience at Zen Animals. I took my dog here for a haircut and bath package and ended up having to take him to the vet after the groomer injured my dogs tail which was left with an open wound/bleeding. I spoke with the owner who agreed to at least refund me her half of my bill ($118) but never responded to me. This is completely unprofessional and I am truly disappointed. After speaking with the vet the amount of force applied to brush my dogs fur was beyond normal, there was brush tracks marks/ an open wound. I am truly disappointed with Zen Animals.

Took my dog here and got her back with both her ears cut and red from blood. She once had long, curly eyelashes, but after her visit her eyelashes were cut very short and very uneven. She has patches of hair on her stomach, whereas the rest of her is shaved. She came back home extremely sad, did not want to play, and wasn’t excited to see everyone at home like she always is. $100+ for her to be traumatized, hurt, and not well taken care of. When we went to pick her up, they did not even mention that she had gotten hurt or suggest any ways for us to help heal her ears. Texted the owner pictures of the dog’s ear and she did not respond, as expected. They got our money so that’s all that matters to them. If you love your pet, take them somewhere else. If I could give this place 0 stars, I would. Terrible place. They should be ashamed at how they treat animals.

Took my water-hating fur baby for a bath here with great results! Staff was great, assisted us in the self bath, and gave us a complimentary grooming to reduce his shedding. My dog looks and smells great now! Well definitely be regulars here!!!

My dog sheds a lot so I always get the deshedding treatment. I’ve recently switch to zen because their organic treatment works well for my baby. It actually last longer. After every appointment she comes out happy, smelling fresh and the shedding is small to none. Thank you zen care. You guys got yourself a loyal customer🤞🏾💙

Created an appointment for my cat for 12/28/2021 on thumbtack as well as the day of confirmed with the facility for the appointment at 11:00 for my 5:00pm cat grooming appointment. At the time of the appointment there was no communication except for a virtual assistant that stated the groomer was on their way and they would reach out to them and provide me their number. Provided me a number of another company that was a nutrition company and no one reached out or stated that the groomer was apparently never looped in. I called/texted the virtual assistant and stated we can go ahead and cancel since it’s an hour after the initial appointment and no communication.Owner Gabrielle reached out and stated there was a glitch in their system and the groomer was never looped in and that she thought I was talking about a dog grooming appointment. The thumbtack initial conversation I stated it was for a cat and called to confirm the appointment, you would think as an owner they would be able to personally reach out and confirm with the groomer if they were called by the customer.Don’t waste your time with this facility, waste of time and no form of communication.

I’ve been going here for over a year now, cuts are usually decent one time really bad. Today my dog got a good cut but I was informed that it is $3 to use their shampoo and bring your own to avoid the fee....I get it’s only three bucks but just the tackiness of that fee would defer me from going back when its literally up the block from me I can’t imagine going to get my hair washed and my hairdresser charging me $3 for mediocre shampoo or going to the nail salon and being charged to use their nail polish.

It was my pup’s first time here and I opted for the do-it-yourself doggy bath and had them groom Gigi (jack russell/chihuahua mix) and it was lovely. Price tag around $70.The soap selections had her smelling heavenly and the groomer was patient and kind. Will be back again!

I sent my dog to this place and they honestly did not do a good job. I paid for a bath package and my dog cane back with his under coat still fully wet. Unacceptable. Ina addition before he went to this place he was free of any knots but when we got him back he has knots under his neck. The lady over the phone and via text said they have many Samoyed clients but corrals from this it’s Easy to say they don’t know what they are doing. And the package I paid for they did not fulfill. Because in addition to everything they didnt take care of the basics and when I got him back he looked the same as how I got him a they did not brush him at all. Which is part of what I paid for. Because of this I would never recommend anyone to go to this place because frankly they just suck, and they do a horrible job and they should choose a different line of business since they might be better at it. Frankly there is no reason to lie to me and tell me you have dealt with this breed before and know exactly what your doing because clearly you don’t and you lie.

We used Zen Animals at home grooming service yesterday and it was nothing like we expected. There was nothing Zen about the experience. We have a Yellow Lab who was in dire need of deshedding and a bath. The groomer came in his own car with baby shampoo, used my towels, garbage bag, paper towels and rugs. The bathroom still smells like wet dog 20 hours later. He also pretended not to understand English - when I asked if you are using my tub, where is all the hair going? (down my drain) but when he called his office for a price, the girl on speakerphone spoke English and he understood without hesitation. It was just a huge hair explosion in my bathroom - reminded me of bathing my dog when I was a kid, it was just ridiculous and there was nothing professional about it. The dog was extremely stressed out and we had to help him clip his nails. Hair was coming off of him continuously after the groomer left - so no deshedding took place and he is still damp and smells like wet dog today. Most of all, the name Zen Animals just makes me laugh--absolutely nothing Zen about the entire experience!

I was taking my Poppa to this other groomers and it was a hit or miss with them. Poppa would come back with a terrible haircut would look sad and wouldn’t look like his playful self. It wasn’t up until the last time I took him they completely shaved his hair off, it was just awful and said it was Poppa who gave them a hard time. To make a long story short, I began taking Poppa to Zen Animals for daycare and every time I would pick him up he was would be soooooooo happy to the point it was almost hard to get him to go home lol seriously! Yesterday I have decided to give them a shot with the grooming. When I picked up Poppa, not only was his haircut perfect and but he was so happy and I can tellHe enjoyed his day at Zen. It’s almost like your picking your pup up from a day a the spa and they are so refreshed and happy. Wonderful experience here, and I’ll be back! Thank you guys!

I am writing my review while this experience is still fresh on my mind. I went to this place to drop off my dog while I went on vacation for a week. I initially thought this would be a good idea since the owner was texting me. I could not be anymore wrong.The first warning sign was that when we dropped off our dog, they charged us upfront for all his services (getting a wash + the stay). Everywhere else Ive used, they charge at the end-like normal hotels. And no, this was not for a deposit, they just want all the money upfront.The owner text me and told me that they take pick ups in the evening, between 7-9pm. My fiance went there at 7:30 and stood in front of the store for ovefr 30 min, ringing the doorbell and calling with no one answering.I called there as well, and couldnt even leave a voice message because their VM box was full. I finally heard back from the owner and she told me shed call the man who sleeps downstairs to open the door. So we go back and when we see my dog, hes afraid to leave his little crate. Also-I brought our own crate, toys and dog bed since this was my dogs first time there-All of his belongings were misssing and his leash was ripped.The man there, Ivan called the owner, who could not account for the missing items or what happened. I also realized that even though I paid for him to get a wash, he was still dirty.I WILL NEVER GO HERE AGAIN AND I WARN EVERYONE ELSE NOT TO GIVE THIS PLACE BUSINESS.

Updating this review from 5 stars to 2.They have had a lot of turnover lately and it is apparent in the lack of care my pet (and yours) receives. The last 3 times I have visited something has gone wrong wether it be my pet left soaking wet, clipped to the wash bin for almost 30 minutes to accommodate a walk in nail appointment!!!! or me witnessing a small dog get slammed onto a grooming table in the middle of the daycare center (why is there a grooming table in there?).I really used to love this place but it is obvious the people now working here do not care about my pet or about their jobs. The only reason Im giving 2 stars is because their prices are reasonable but that cannot save your business when you are dealing with something people hold so dear (our pets.)Super disappointed and will be finding a new groomer.

Im a power user of this location! I love everything about it and Im so lucky theyre only blocks from home. My dog is in daycare with them, gets groomed here and also has been boarded overnight while i worked.. The staff is friendly + accommodating. My dog basically could careless when i leave and that alleviates all concerns. Thank You!!

I was in town and needed a place to bath and brush out my Afghan Hound myself. This place is perfect, the self wash area has everything I need for grooming my girl. The person at the front desk was very helpful and patient. Thank you! We will be back!

We took our cat princess to get groomed. That consisted of a organic shampoo and conditioning. She also got her nails clipped and glands checked. Not only were we satisfied but you can tell the cat really enjoyed her day Zen Animals Spa.

I love coming to the ZEN Animals experience and my “babies”(dogs) come out great looking.I like the oils and bathing shampoo’s they use. Then dental care treatment worked for my Pomeranian no problems.

I’ve been bringing my dogs here for a while & I’ve always wondered why the price fluctuates so much. The fact that they don’t provide receipts to see your charges doesn’t help. They claim they do not have a receipt printer. Well if thats the case they should be able to provide it electronically. During my last visit, i requested a receipt & was sent over a picture of the charges for the services & discovered they had included their own “tip” without my knowledge or consent. They have a tip box and i always provide tips. However, i do not appreciate them adding their own tips, and you wouldn’t know because they never provide you with a receipt!!

I didnt use groomers they had a vet come in to give shots for the dogs. The groomers did not seem interested in getting to work with dogs even though i asked to have my dogs nails clipped. More of a baby sitting environment to me. Soon as you walk in there is a big pen with all the dogs and people standing around

My puppy is so clean and smells great ! The shedding remedy I added on changed my life! I’ll be coming here at least once every 4-6 weeks for upkeep. Do it if your fur baby sheds a buncj

Probably the place is better for dog than cat.I came in a little earlier and I saw the cat in her carrier by herself on a table in the middle of the working room among 8 dogs. When the table was needed the cat in the carrier has been literally launched on the floor.I asked if the cat has been in that mess since I left her at 11 till 6 pm and the answer was yes.They could at least left the animal in a less busy place.Then I asked for the haircut and they did not do it and then were complaining that was because of the cat very agitated, but I would be agitated to if I was a cat in the middle of dogs coming back and fort, closed in a carrier for 7 hours without food and with all kind of noises.On top of everything they didn’t even honor the prices of the previous time.

I took my Bulldog Big Mac here this weekend. My paw child is a big baby! He went in and was very anxious. When I came back to pick him up he was so calm and just sat there so nice with one of the groomers. I was in total shock. Hes been other places and this was a first!I wil definitely be bringing him back.

Yesterday, I took my 8-month old Pitbull to get her first grooming experience at Zen Animals. At first, my dog was nervous due to her separation anxiety, but the staff at Zen animals were very patient and understanding of Zuri’s needs. I was a little nervous leaving Zuri with the groomers, but the receptionist and Owner were very comforting and assuring.They allowed me to watch the first 2 minutes of my dogs, spa process. When we picked up Zuri, she was so happy!!! She looked beautiful and smelled amazing!! Her coat was so shiny and soft! After speaking with the receptionist, I found out all their products are natural and homemade. Zuri came out looking and feeling like a new pup! To top it off, they rubbed this lemongrass oil on her coat, and I can still smell it 24- hours later!! Their prices are reasonable, and we will be returning back next month!!

Lived in the area for over 20yrs and had no idea this place opened up. Decided to give them a try since its so much closer than my regular Vet/Groomer spot and they did an amazing job on my Chewbacca looking Cockapoo. One of the best cuts Ive ever seen him get and they were very courteous and polite. Highly recommended.

Brought my dog in for a nail trim / file. Only 1/4 staff members working at the time was wearing a mask. They allowed customers in without masks. Groomer took my dog back for about 5 min and returned saying she filed my dogs nails (hard to believe bc my dog is very difficult with nails). When I pointed out ones that were clearly untouched she said she forgot those. Super uncomfortable experience and shoddy service.

Brought my dog here for a couple self washes. Clean place, nice tubs. They have soaps and even stuff for dogs with skin issues, mine included. Much better than the tub at home. Theyll even do little side services like nails, real nice. Id recommend them!

Owners are wonderful married couple, family business. the staff was amazing. I took my two shistzu there and they looked so good. The quality of the the bath and cut was 100%. The location was easy to find. The place it self was very clean with a welcoming environment.

Appalling service. Went in with my friends for their dog to get a simple haircut and they dog came back with a popped blood vessel in their eye. Truly a harrowing experience for the pup who has become sad and lethargic as a result. When the safety of a beloved pet isnt guaranteed, things must change. Shame on you for your unprofessional job and lack of concern for the animals you care for.P.s. I cannot post the pictures on this review but, know they are heartbreaking nonetheless.

Charge me 95$ for a cheap job that took y’all 4 hours to do. Secondly my dog here grew back so quick and I paid for a package and to have her teeth brush didn’t get that at all. You need to bring the old employees back these other people don’t know nothing about grooming.

I brought my maltepoo here for a wash and blow out and they did an amazing job. They also took care of his ingrown nail. I received so many compliments on the way he looked during the walk home😍 the staff was friendly and the pricing was fair 👌🏾 We will definitely be back.

I took my dog there sunday (it was pouring) to get groomed and when i got home and examed, I was a 120% Satisfied. Max smelled amazing his coat was soft and white. I did tell them not to trim his nails but I noticed they did them again but he didnt seem to be in any pain. Our first experience at wash and Go wasnt the best but this last one was GREAT, we will be back. Chase thank you for being on top of any issues Max anx I may have come across. Im happy i didnt allow my first experience to could my judgement. Max and i will definitely be back sometime soon in the near future!!!!

6-9-20 I had an appointment for my dog coco to get groomed this was my absolute 1st time trying Zen, wish it turned out good but unfortunately it was the worst experience I’ve ever had in my whole life!!!!!!. I’ve dropped my dog off at 12:00 pm I haven’t received a call or nothing around 5:30 I call the shop which was the owner Phone to check on coco too see if he was finish or not , coco is a Pomeranian mix with a shih Tzu . Ive showed pictures of how I would like him to be groomed..Coco haircut wasn’t even started!!!!!!!! All that time was wasted!!!!! This place is such a waste of time I’ll NEVERRRR recommend any of my friends with dogs to go to this place . Zen animals is really unprofessional with communication, if they couldn’t groom my dog coco why not call the parent to give them an update!

I paid for the full bathing package which included nail trim. I came to pick up my puppy and had told them it doesn’t look like her nails were not trimmed they said there’s a limit to how much they cut. I got home and realized after taking a look they didn’t cut them at all. I’ll find a better place next time .

FeFe always looks and smells wonderful and the staff has always been lovely to us! I would recommend Zen Animals for that personable touch.

I liked the haircut they gave my dog (she’s a shih tzu mixed), but they lied and told me my dog had a rash but really they cut her. The area was swollen, it was a size of a ping pong ball and red. I asked what it was the lady at the front desk told me her skin was really irritated and it’s a rash, that’s why the area is so red. She also came back home with a nasty cough. I searched it up and it’s called “kennel cough”. She got it from one of the dogs there. It’s easily contagious and common at dog parks and groomers.This is my third time going to them not once has she had a rash. I think it may be my last time going back.

I asked for everything for my dog when I walked into this place the man at the front told me everything would come out to $45 but I would have to pay when I come and pick her up when they call me. I dropped my dog off at 9 and I called at 3pm and they told me that my dog was ready I get there and all they did was wash my dog and the price came out too $52.62 for that I could have washed my own dog for free now I ask the man I thought that they was going to cut my dog hair now they tell me that it’s a separate charge from the washing it would cost $75 but because my dog have a little more hair then it would cost more. Next time I will wash and cut my own dog hair going to them did not make a difference

My first time using Zen Animals, I said I will give it a try since my regular groomer was closed because of the COVID 19. WORST PLACE TO GO!!! I am extremely disappointed in the service my Morkie received. I went to retrieved my dog (King) his hair cut is choppy and his tear stains were still there! WHY!!!!!, I never experienced this before from his regular groomer. The manager sends a text on one of the employees phone saying they dont put whitener by the eyes. That is understandable but the groomer is not experienced at all. There are products just for the tear stains. HELLO. If you are reading this groomer (s) are not knowledgeable at ALL! Neither is the OWNER. Go some where else PLEASE BE ADVISED!!!! I warned you!! I love my Pet just like he is one of my children! URGGGGG!

I’ve been taking my yorkie Biscuit to Zen For awhile now. Gabriella is amazing and very accommodating. This last visit Biscuit got a haircut from the groomer Adelson. Adelson is amazing and this is biscuit vest haircut yet. Biscuit is also in a very good mood which is unusual for him after his grooming visits. That just means he was in really good hands!

We love this place. Our dog Mack loves going and spending the day with his friends. The staff are accommodating, kind and real animal lovers. The space is clean, air conditioned and the overall care is excellent.

We have just taken our 2 akitas here, they went in looking terrible, after recently travelling from Kazakhstan and malting all over our apartment they didnt look good. This was our 2nd visit and my Persian kitty was matted really bad. The groomer(s) did such an amazing job with him. I felt relieved for him. When we got home, he was so bouncy and playful as to let me know he felt better. Thanks again, Zen.

Yeah, sure theyll clean your dog and do what is expected but when it comes to everything else, the overall experience is not a pleasant one. Most of the handlers are very apathetic and dont show any passion for what they do. If this was a McDonalds, then I wouldnt care about their personalities but when your dealing with peoples pets (who are considered as human children by some owners), then personality does matter.

First time using service. I enjoy bonding with my little guy, but washing him in a tub at home is hurting on the knees. We both enjoyed using the space and the assistance melissa gave me. Price was reasonable too. Looking forward to returning.

I washed two of my dogs One a 32 lbs Shiba Inu that I was billed $18 and then I was billed double $26 for a 7lbs Shipoo. I washed both dogs myself and the Shipoo took 15 min, when I called and asked the price I was told the Shiba Inu would be the most expensive of the two dogs. This is purely a ripoff. Petco is $10 any dog with much better services provided. The place was a mess with dog hair everywhere and dirty tubs on site. I will never go back here again!!!

I love this place,staff are always very helpful. I brung my previous dog and i now bring my jackapoo. The staff are very good with making you feel welcome and comfortable. Price is reasonable.the only this is the daycar is no longer upstairs with the big beautiful view it’s downstairs.

I took my poodle Ginger today to get her monthly grooming for the first time at Do Wash N Go, in Bed-Stuy Brooklyn. She looks wonderful, the groomer everon did a excellent job gingers hair is exactly how I wanted it she looks picture perfect.

My dogs nails were cut super sharp. She was also returned to me with matted tangles in her fur. She is a 5 lb Pomeranian, sure she furry but she’s not a lot of dog to care for.

Robbie, my Old English Sheepdog, loves the professional brushing and grooming that keeps his coat looking smart and spiffy. The affection and attention he receives here keeps him mellow and content when being groomed or boarding.

Its a really nice business for dogs to be groomed and taken care of but I had my dog groomed there years ago and I had a big dog that got charged less for a bath and nail trimming you would think that you would get charged less the money for a small dog that just needed to be shaved down bathed and his nails trimmed and they charged an arm and a leg thats why I didnt bother to respond to their text when they sent me a text stating that they missed my call because I found a cheaper price somewhere else

Our dog is always super excited to go to Dog Wash N Go and comes home exhausted and or clean and smelling fresh. I get pictures when he’s at boarding and the prices are really reasonable and the place is clean.

Nice to have a place in the neighborhood with different options that truly takes care of our pets. Can be pretty expensive though, especially for a cat owner since they cater more to dogs.

Saw a dog left alone over night with no food or water, not even a bed to sleep on. Urine and poop everywhere. I felt so bad for her she barked and barked and nobody came for her. Called the store and nobody picked up. I felt so bad I wish I could’ve taken her home.

Had my car washed and nails done hat was good,but when I came to pickup the 🐈 about 3 Hours later he was behind the counter zipped up in the bag I brought him in , They should have a waiting area for animals to be in comfort while waiting to be picked up no access to water not to mention food or space Really!!!!

I didnt use the groomer. I use the self wash where they give the customers shampoo, face wash, conditioner, and a towel for $17. However the shampoo, conditioner, and face wash were all extremely diluted. It turns it into a waste.

Keeps sending me promotional text messages without opt out options. Doesnt respond to phone calls and the mail box is too full to receive additional voice messages.

Love zin Animals they treated my baby so well almost started to cry the first time I took him there because he looked so cute went for 2nd visit for a spa day and he came home acting like the man love zin and I well be using them for my grooming and day care needs told all my friends who have dogs to go to them they are the best.

We rescued a golden retriever who came to us pretty severely matted and soiled. Zen Animals took great care of her, cleaning her up beautifully and removing all of the matted fur. When we picked her up she was so happy and not at all stressed— you can tell they really listen to what the dog needs. We will definitely be back for grooming and bath services and plan to try them out for daycare in the future as well. (Also I know our pup is very skinny in this pic. She came to us 2 days ago and we’re working to get her to a healthy weight!)

Terrible establishment, after leaving my dog here the next time I brought her back she pulled away afraid to go inside all the way from across the street which she has never done before. I believe that they abused her, she was literally terrified I was heart broken.

Took my dog to get a bath the worker say my dog bite him charge me 100$ and my dog still smell like corn chips will never take my dog back there if your dog is under 20lbs there is no problem if u cant handle a big dog put it on your website this have been the worst experience of my life and if o did not walk into the business and ask what happen because this man was ok the branch looking like he was going to die talking about my dog he made me go downstairs to get my dog with my dog was in a cage to small for him in the basement alone

Im so sad but relieved to see all of the negative reviews about how badly pets have been treated under this places care. I was bringing my dog here for a while until about 8 months ago when I had the worst experience. My dog is older and deals with intense ear infections which Ive always mentioned in my services here. This one particular session the young ladies in the front NEVER COMMUNICATED that with the groomers in the back and they manhandled my 10 pound shihtzu. They also recorded it to show me when I picked him up which was of him crying and screaming in pain because they were not being sensitive to his left earlobe. They also charged me an additional fee saying he was being difficult. When I asked if anyone ever mentioned anything to the groomers in the back about his ear condition they said the young lady had left for the day and didn’t leave any notes. I payed the bill and left in tears. I actually came here today to rebook and give them another chance since it was the only groomer I had ever taken him to since I adopted him 2019, and they could have just had a bad day, but seeing all the very recent reviews about mistreatment has not only prompted me to go elsewhere but to also speak up about what I experienced. Compassion, patience and kind hands are definitely needed in that place.

My experience here was bad my dog came out awful. Teeth looked great but he only had 6 anyways. But his hair cut was awful! His nails were still not fully cut it was still long had to do it myself. His paws was still matted after paying that much money... definitely not worth it.
