Cattitude is great! Taryn (the owner) was very responsive via email with any questions I had. Lori took such great care of my cat Betty while I was away visiting my family for Christmas. Every visit you get an email with updates/comment & great photos! I highly recommend Cattitude for anyone with pet sitting needs. :-)

Doreen and Ashley have taken such great care of Cecil and Beanie over the years, including giving meds. Im provided with photos and updates during each and every visit as well as little extras that tend to come up when traveling... plants, mail pickup, deliveries, etc. Mostly, they have a genuine love for these critters and make going away a more relaxed experience. Taryn and Doreen have been the absolute best for taking care of my senior Persian cat Oatmeal! Doreen and Oatmeal are literally BFFs, I get the best group selfie photos every visit! 🤣 She takes such excellent, attentive care of Oatmeal - Oatmeal suddenly needed to start daily medicine in November, and Doreen had no problems giving her the medicine on time around the holidays. Not only that, but she figured out a way to get my picky Persian to start eating her wet food again more regularly! I cant recommend Cattitude enough! 😊

I’ve used this service twice, and both times my cat suffered due to negligence.First, I returned home to find my cat’s water bowl completely empty—bone dry and spotless. My cat has never drained his bowl in a day, and I was given ridiculous excuses like the weather and even an eclipse. When I suggested the sitter might have forgotten, the owner, Taryn, was adamant it was the cats doing.The second time, the sitter failed to refill my automatic feeder, despite clear instructions. My cat missed two meals, and when I called Taryn, she blamed me and even raised her voice. When I tried to end the conversation, she hung up on me, only to continue arguing via text.The paperwork required for this service is excessive, and despite filling it out thoroughly, I still had to repeatedly provide the same information. Taryn acknowledged the feeder but somehow missed the instruction to refill it despite it being very clear in the intake form. This lack of organization, not malintent, is concerning. Taryn is responsible for ensuring consistent care, not me.The sitters are kind and caring, but they are not perfect. If you use this service, be prepared to be VERY EXPLICIT and OVER COMMUNICATE to ensure your pets needs are met.

Whenever we leave town Brooklyn Cattitude has taken wonderful care of my two older cats (17 & 14) for several years now. Murray takes medication and Velcro needs attention to be at ease. When we return from our time away, they are very calm, comfortable, and happy to see us, and not overly needy. I feel like they both enjoy having some different company once in a while too. I highly recommend their service.

Ive had pets in NYC for over 16 years and this is by far the best pet sitting service Ive ever used and the only one Ill ever trust with my pets going forward. Ive had both Max and Jennifer from their team watch my cats. It was obvious how much they really loved animals and enjoyed being with my pets. They came at the same time everyday and sent over a full report and pictures every time they came. When you use Cattitude & Street Strutters for the first time they have an intro meeting and come to your home to meet you and your pet/pets. Taryn, the owner, truly cares about animals and her customers. She is personable, responsive and goes out of her way to make sure everyones pets are taken care of as if they were her own. I highly recommend them!

I would recommend this service to anyone looking for a thoughtful, reliable pet sitter. We had a very bad experience using Rover and were relieved at the exceptional care and communication Brooklyn Cattitudes Taryn (the owner) and Sam (our sitter) provided. Sam took excellent care of our cat for almost a week, stopping by twice a day to feed him, change his water, and play with him the full time. We got an update from every visit with pictures. Definitely will be booking again.

In 20 years of having cats, I had never used a professional cat sitting service, so it took me a long time to research and find a business that I felt comfortable with when planning a recent 10-day vacation abroad. Thanks to glowing reviews found in a local facebook group, I decided to try Cattitude. From the moment I spoke to the owner, Taryn, I knew we would be in good hands. She and her team are professional, knowledgable (taught me some tricks to administer meds, suggested treats I had never heard of before), caring, friendly, and RELIABLE. The business has a client portal for scheduling, tracking, and invoicing, and you can select from many different levels of service depending on your pets needs. They have a policy that includes a meet & greet before committing to caring for an animal to make sure that its a good fit for everyone. And their cat sitters are wonderful people. For the 10 days we were away, Dave took amazing care of our cat. He texted us photos and videos, spent time playing with and talking to my cat, and said wonderful things about my cat-- I could tell that he takes his work very seriously and really enjoys what he does for both the pets and their humans. He made it so that we didnt worry at all about our cat so we could focus on our vacation. What a gift. I will absolutely book again with Cattitude and am so grateful for this extra peace of mind. It will be one fewer trip planning stressor to contend with.

I have used Taryn’s service since getting our two cats back in 2014. Her sitters are always extremely responsive and caring. We never have any hesitations about going on a long trip and asking Brooklyn Cattitude to take care of our cats, even after adding a third one this winter. This is simply the best service of its kind in Brooklyn.

Taryn and Doreen have been wonderful. My cat Button and I have been through some tough things the past couple of months, losing my older cat and then having to move suddenly after some terrible experiences with my previous landlord, and I was worried about leaving him alone while I went out of town for several days. But the process was easy and professional, and Doreen was terrific with him. I got photos and an update after every visit, and I felt so much better about everything. I cant recommend Brooklyn Cattitude highly enough.

We have two very unique cats who can be a handfull, but Doreen was very patient with them and kept me updated on their behavior and progress every day. She is also a true animal lover, which made me feel extra confident leaving them in her care while I was away for the week.

We had a fabulous experience with Brooklyn Cattitude. Our cat sitter - Ben - was communicative, professional, and clearly devoted to animals. He not only took on caring for our cat, but also our betta fish and extensive plant collection. I really appreciated both the initial visit, during which he was very detail oriented about routines and our pets specific needs, and the daily updates with photos and videos. Working from home for the past year has made us especially attached to our cat, but having those photos and videos made it much easier to enjoy our time away from home. Cant wait to work with Ben and Cattitude again!

Brooklyn Cattitude is absolutely fabulous, and my positive experience can be attributed almost entirely to the wonderful Edvard. Edvard takes phenomenal care of our cat while were away. She can be quite skittish with strangers, but has taken such a liking to him.I love that Cattitude stands behind all of their employees, and I do want to note here that theyre all professionals, trained in pet health, pet CPR+, and will know what to do in an emergency. This is above and beyond the average sitter, and the peace of mind that gives me is worth every penny.It is easy to request appointments online, and your sitter will check in and out for each visit and send you pics. Again, we have been so lucky with Edvard who is very communicative, flexible, and always sends pics of our chirppingly happy fur baby. If you live within their service area, I cant recommend them enough.

I dont recall how I found Taryn - perhaps through a building referral - but Im grateful I did. Once I establish rapport with someone, I become very partial to that person, but overtime, due to scheduling, Taryn introduced me to more of her team at Brooklyn Cattitude and I continued to have a very positive experience. Taryn and her team are dependable. They seem sincere in their love of animals, and my cat, specifically. And most of all, my cat seemed well cared for and I was able to be worry free.

I cannot say enough good things about Brooklyn Cattitude. We have two resident cats and often have a rotating foster to round out our crew. Us humans recently took a trip outside of Brooklyn just to escape city life for a few days. I was anxious to leave our kitty kiddos after having not really left the apartment amidst the COVID pandemic for months. When I reached out, Taryn was responsive and quick to schedule us for a meet and greet before we would leave town.Enter Dave. Oh how I didnt know how much I needed Dave! Never before have I met such a doting cat sitter. I honestly feel like Dave loves our kitties as much as we do after just a few days. (And, for what its worth, Dave got our foster to come out of her shell more in two days than we did in two weeks!) Dave was so communicative - sent us tons of pictures and videos of updates. He did overnights for us which meant he stayed with our crew, offering feedings at night and in the morning. And, I dont know how its possible, but I *think* my apartment is more clean than when I left!? Already, Ive sent Daves name to several of my kitty-kiddo having friends. At this point, Im wondering - can I even book a vacation without first checking to make sure Dave is available?! Hes just THAT good.

Brooklyn Cattitude does a great job taking care of NYCs fur children but is fantastic with plants too. Any time Im out of town, Taryn and the teams top-notch service ensures the household plants look leafy and green when I return. Scheduling appointments is quick and easy. The staff are super efficient.

Were SO glad we found Cattitude and they were able to take care of us this holiday season. Being new to the city, we didnt have anyone to care for our boys while we traveled to visit family. I have been using Brooklyn Cattitude for a year and a half, and I am so grateful to Taryn and her team of cat-crazy people like myself. Previously I struggled with a gamut of cat care providers, and it always stressed me out to come home to either a catsitter who straight up took my money and lied about coming (documented by security camera) or an empty water fountain. My senior cats are my babies, and we have family that lives far away, so we are required to take at least two week-plus vacations a year and I need peace of mind. Enter BK Cattitude.Last year a family emergency came up and Ill forever be grateful to the quick response I received to a late-night email to Taryn. She got my cats favorite sitter on board and I was able to focus on the other stressful events rather than Are my cats being fed/tearing up the apartment/tracking litter on the bed? When I came home, the sitter had even vacuumed my entryway! I almost wept.Every time I have a sit, I book online and am quickly confirmed. Every new sitter comes to meet my cats before a sit, and there is a backup key kept on file in case you forget to leave one. There is a high level of organization and the texts and images I receive while Im away always make me feel relief. When I come home, my place is clean and my animals cared for. In addition, the petsitter checks in and out of appointments using their online system, so you dont have to wonder, Did someone actually come by? like many sitters Ive had in the past.

For the most part, Khrystyna was the one who consistently took care of my cats when we went away. She was always attentive and sent messages with pictures so I got to see our furbabies even when we were away.

Amazing dog walking and pet sitting service! Fair prices, great with the dog and dependable. My dog (Diesel) loves them. We get consistent walkers, who also stay at our apartment to watch the dog (or can take him to their place as well if needed). Highly recommended.

Weeks of furious Googling to find the best sitter around led me to Taryn and I’m so glad it did. As an anxious cat parent I was starting to label my upcoming trip as My First Time Leaving My Cat rather than my first actual vacation in two years. Well folks, I survived thanks to Taryn & my sitter Quiana. Each visit notes emanate with the care they have for my pet and for me as well, as I had some very last minute changes and requests. Their communication with me was always welcoming and never terse, adding to the experience as a whole. I would give them ten out of five stars!!!

We were so grateful that Taryn and Cattitude were able to accommodate us over the holidays as a new client! We had an awesome experience with Cassandra and Khrystyna. They both gave a lot of care and attention to our five feline fur babies. They were very proactive in keeping us informed each day, and we felt very reassured while we were away. They also took the time to clean litters, wash bowls (aka fun stuff). The photos they texted us during feeding time were awesome, and we also really appreciate the advance visit from them to get to know about situation here, too. We know our cat situation can be a bit overwhelming and complicated (various personality and medical issues)--and we were nervous to go away and leave them. Cattitude did a great job--we would use their services again!

Taryn was very involved and responsive when I set up my first cat sitter. It was the first time I’ve left my cat at home for a long period of time and she made sure one of her (many) reliable sitters took good care of my kitten Benji.
