I’ve had Great Danes for the past 30 years and they are a very sensitive breed, despite their size. After a bad experience with my senior Dane at a place I previously trusted, I really did my homework when looking for daycare and training for my new Dane puppy. The reviews for Animal Outfitters were amazing and my experience with Omar and the crew totally lives up to that benchmark! Iris loves the whole crew but especially Omar, and she even has other Danes to play with! Even after years of working with dogs, I can still come to Omar for advice and collaboration with Iris’s training. Highly recommended.

My dog, Walter Eugene, had an incredible experience (and so did I) on his debut day at daycare. I felt so comfortable with him being in Omars care whose evident affection and commitment towards the pets reassured me. I immediately loved Shannon - she was so warm and kind.Walters joy was palpable as he found a companion in Joey, another beagle, to romp around with. He emerged from his day at daycare a transformed pup - happily tired and, dare I say, even better behaved!

Went in for a DIY grooming session. It was wonderful, the equipment was clean and well kept. Having a big blower made it super worth it. The owner was fantastic, gave me lots of tips and tricks (I had no idea what I was doing). He was fantastic with my dog, friendly and warm.

My dog oliver has been going here since he was a pup. A pure bred boxer full of energy and zoomies. Omar, mark, and the whole crew are THEE BEST. Oliver runs excited on the days he goes to daycare and it makes me feel so much more comfortable sending him there. Oliver is very loved there and cuddles with all the other dogs and the whole crew. Constantly picking him up when he is sleeping on a crew members lap. He is exhausted when we get home from work/daycare and it makes my day so much easier. I would recommend animal outfitters to anyone!

I always have great experiences when I bring my dog in for a nail trim. The owner and employees are always very kind and patient with my pup who isnt thrilled to get his nails trimmed. They also have a great toy and treat selection. I love going there and highly recommend their services!

We’ve been taking our dogs to Omar & Co. for over two years now and couldn’t be happier. For someone who is very protective of their dogs, it was a big leap for me to trust another person to watch them. Omar and his staff put me at ease as they are so loving and caring with the dogs and I can be restfully assured that they are getting all the care they need. It’s a great environment for dogs to make “friends” and play and socialize. They have my highest recommendation and we will continue to be customers of theirs for years to come.

Hands down the best doggy care in the city! Omar and Mark are truly amazing people that deeply care for the dogs they look after. It’s an amazing feeling to drop off our dog knowing that he is going to have THE BEST time with Omar, Mark, and his doggy pals. They treat him (and us!) like royalty!

Animal Outfitters is our go-to daycare for our dog. The downtown location for the daycare is beautiful and well-lit. I really love how interactive and loving the staff are. Omar makes both the pet owner and pet feel at ease once you arrive. The price is worth the happiness that your dog gets from playing with all the other canine friends. Check their Instagram feed! We have been going to Animal Outfitters for over 15 years. The owner, Omar is so professional and caring with each and every customer and their pets. He treats them like they are their own. We started going to his doggie daycare over 4 years ago when we rescued our current boy -Henry. The staff do not just watch your dog during the day -they engage and train them. It is a stress free environment and you do not have to worry about your furry friends. There are other daycares out there but you will not find another daycare that compares. Make sure you call them first -they are convenient to those that work downtown and worth the drive even if you aren’t downtown. If I could give them 100 stars I would!

Omar and Animal Outfitters are amazing. Weve been taking our dog here who absolutely hates nail trims, and Omar is great at making her feel comfortable. We go out of our way to go here and will continue to do so. Highly recommend!

Excellent doggie day care facility. I spent 6 weeks in Buffalo for work with my pooch, and needed a facility for her. Felt comfortable with Omar, the owner, from the first time I met him. I also stalked the place before signing up to make sure the dogs were treated well, and from what I could see, it was great. As I got to know the rest of the staff, they too treated my dog like their own...to the point where my dog went from being reluctant to going to day care to walking right in on her own without saying goodbye to me. They treated my dog like their own.

Omar and his team treat my dogs like they are their own pets. I love dropping my dogs off for the day knowing they are going to have a great time playing and getting spoiled all day. Super friendly, and attentive staff. Glad they opened a downtown location. - The mud bath is totally worth it too!

Ive been taking my dog Milo here for daycare for about a year now and I have nothing but amazing things to say about Animal Outfitters. Every time we walk past the door, my dog gets all excited knowing he is going to daycare. He comes home exhausted from his day of playing and socializing with his dog friends. My dog was a puppy when he first started going and Omar has done a great job at even giving me training tips when I pick him up to tell me how to work on things that he has noticed while at daycare and also worked with him while he is at daycare which I appreciate immensely as a first time dog owner! They go above and beyond for their daycare dogs with Santa coming to visit, celebrating each and every dogs birthday, and just making sure you and your dog make you feel apart of their family. There is also a little shop when you walk in for dog necessities and a DIY dog washing station there! After having a bad experience at a different dog daycare and having issues trusting someone to watch my dog and coming here where Omar really takes the time to know your dog individually and know their needs, I am so glad to be apart of AO family and I know my dog is too!

Omar and the Animal Outfitters Team are nothing but professional, kind and caring. We have been using their doggy daycare and grooming service for two years now and are blown away by them. Our rescue dog, Luna is a high anxiety creature and has just simply thrived under Omar and AO’s care. They helped her with basic training and really guided her out of her shell. She is always so excited to go to daycare and so happy when she comes home! This amazing team is part of our family now and we will continue being clients for as long as they are in business! Our dog loves going here. I like that they keep the dogs calm as some daycare places can feel a little out of control. Always nice to hear how she did when I pick her up, and they even work on training reinforcement with her.

This is the best place to take your dog. Omar and his staff treat every dog like their own. I bring my German shepherd here for grooming and the products Omar has are such great quality. The mud mask really does help with shedding. Ive been going to the elmwood location for years and love this new location. I couldnt recommend it more.

Happened across this pet store today while downtown with my pooch. The store is in a beautiful location with ample parking. Me and my dog were greeted right away by an extremely friendly gentleman (I presume the owner). He was awesome and you could tell a dog lover- even gave me some training pointers! We left with a new toy and new favorite shop! Will be back for sure!

A beautiful store that carries really nice stuff for your pet. The service, however, is what makes it really stand out from 99% of other retailers. The owner is extremely friendly and helpful. When I wasnt sure which dog I should bring into my family, he offered to call various customers so that they could bring in their dogs and give my children a chance to see the different breeds! The staff are always pleasant and eager to assist. I couldnt be happier to have this store in our neighborhood.

I have known the owner for over 15 years. I can’t speak stronger about the quality individual who runs this business. He is so good with dogs. Our dog, who came to us a street dog, who you can tell had an extremely rough life, has a second home at Animal Outfitters. Our dog is sensitive and can be protective out of fear. But he knows he is loved at AO and that it is a safe place. He is the dog he is, in strong part because of the good care and love he gets at AO. Between two dogs we have been to many daycares. There is none like AO. Not to mention the owner is just a superb individual.

My girls have been going to AO for 2 and 3 years respectively. Omar and Mark are amazing. They take great care of our girls and my girls can’t wait to get there on daycare days. We love being part of the AO family!

What I can say about AO is, that the man that owns it is one of the nicest, encouraging people Ive met in a long time and, I last saw him 4 to 5 years ago. He an the woman next door (at the time) had asked my cousin to Create an artful piece they could use as their patios, I helped a bit with putting them together an helping with the basket weave style we used but, mostly I helped putting everything up and, what a nice man, always making sure we had water/ if we needed something to eat for the Dog (the gelato lady hooked us up but, that dog LOVED his treats, he puts a lot of love an science to make sure your pet gets something they like and that will keep them running a long time.

Best place ever!!! My baby girl China just loves going, she gets all excited when she sees the building & her Uncle Omar & Uncle Mark ...shes been going there for at least 5 years since she was rescued...i am highly recommending this doggy daycare, where they make your baby feel like they are the only dog there

My dogs love Omar and he loves them. They get lots of play time, learn how to behave with other dogs and always come home tired

Sweet little store for holistic pet stuff, mainly for dogs but they have a bit of cat stuff as well. plenty of samples as well, in case youre not sure what your pet likes.

Quality products, and decent service. Elmwood pet supplies is nearby, and consistently has better service.
