My little kitten had an emergency, and I didnt have enough money to cover the full cost of the required surgery. However, the staff at the clinic were amazing and very kind. They opened a door for me, and I am truly grateful for their understanding and support. Although things didnt work out as I had planned, I am very happy to know that the kitten has found a forever home where she will be well taken care of. Thank you so much for everything! I will definitely bring my other cats here in the future.
Staff were so knowledgeable and friendly! From my first phone call to get scheduled, to the second i walked in the door, got in the exam room and walked out it was such a friendly and comfortable experience. I’m a first time pet owner and get nervous about my fur babies but this vet put me at ease and explained everything done for me. Cannot recomend this office enough!!
The entire staff was friendly and helpful. Dr Hider seemed competent and warm and was terrific with my 2 dogs, one a large rambunctious puppy .I had no issues since we were just establishing ourselves with the practice so can’t judge how they would handle them but there was an emergency while I was there and everyone seemed calm and ready to help. The appointment was on time. The office was clean,so much so that the vet sat on the floor to take care of my dogs.
We took our sick cat to Buff Small Animal hospital for the first time. We called first thing on a Monday morning and they were able to get us in that same day . My dog has been a patient at Buff Small Animal Hospital for 8 years and we have always been pleased with care we received . This visit was a bit different because our little cat (Fatty) was ill. Dr Hider was amazing. So patient and listened to all our concerns. Went over and beyond to help our sick kitty. I am pleased to say the treatment seems to be working and our little Fatty is showing improvement. Everyone in the office is kind and caring and truly goes out of their way to help and answer all questions. It is a bit of a drive for us but I would never go anywhere else . They also offer great pet insurance programs that I always recommend to everyone because it always ends up paying for itself and saves you $$ . I have had pets for 40 plus years and have been to many different veterinarians but none has ever come close to the level of compassionate care we receive at Buffalo Small Animal Hospital!
Willow had a ruptured skin tag removed and they got us in same day. Staff was fantastic.
I took my Smokey(Cat) not knowing that I needed an appointment because he had been scratched by another animal. They were wonderful! I honestly thought they were going to turn us away but instead they took him and gave him the best care ever. Even in his condition he felt comfortable and at ease. Thank you so much from the bottom of my heart.
I had to bring in one of my cats for a flea treatment and shots. This is my first time here in about 15 years and then I had a dog. Very pleased with the staff and the new digs. I will be bringing in my other cat next week so Ill have more to express then.
Amazing care. Everyone was so professional and easy to talk to about my dogs situation. The Dr was very caring and described all options. I highly recommend them. My dog Ms Olive got the best care! Thank you!
I didnt even get an appointment or enter the building of this animal hospital, but I wanted to express my gratitude and appreciation with them. When I was nervous about my dogs limping I gave them a call to inquire about pricing, but the sweet woman on the phone eased my worries and gave me suggestions on what I could do at home and to seek an appointment if I was still worried about it. Her tone and ability to reason with me and give me advice at no expense other than just pure kindness shows me that I could trust this hospital. The prices she stated seemed fair too! This place will be hearing from me for any future appointments!! (My dog is okay too! She was right to wait for a bit giving his symptoms, he just sprained it)
I absolutely love Buffalo Small Animal Hospital they are friendly, professional and very caring. My little baby loves them
Been coming here for years. My young lil tuxedo cat, Boots, comes in for routine shots & exams. They were super with her especially on her 1st visit when I’d adopted her as a stray. She needed a more thorough exam : blood work & more to make sure she was in good health. They were all so supportive about my “new addition” to the Family. She checked out great & continues to thrive.Over the years, they were excellent with my older cat, Sunnie ( the big fluffy mainecoon), too. He became diabetic in his senior years, & was on insulin, under their care. All the vets were excellent & took the time needed to explain his blood work to me, our next course of action & all the rest. The office staff has always been kind & friendly. So important, especially when a pet parent is concerned about their fur baby’s health. Rebecca, the office manager, is a gem ! So caring & helpful. She was especially compassionate when the time came for me to bring Sunnie in to be put down when he was almost 15. I’ll never forget it. They were all wonderful & made a huge difference for the better. New location is convenient and very nice. Thank you, Buffalo Small Animal Hospital ! Grateful for you! Liz
I brought my 5m old kitten simba here for a emergency visit for a broken leg and the staff was so caring and friendly and withe prices are so great we wound up getting him fixed and everything all in the same visit. I highly recommend this place there amazing!!
I’ve been coming here for over 17 yrs I love them they give the best care and are very friendly..
With many great reviews I feel bad that my experiences didnt leave me wanting to return. Vet visits can be stressful not only for the pet but also the pet owner. I have visited this location twice and both times I have left feeling disappointed. Initially the visit starts well but as continues I feel that Im spoken down to like I have no idea whats going on with my pet. Its a lot of fault finding and correction and condescending remarks that arent necessary. I have 2 dogs and when I moved I thought I would find a vet closer to my new place and retain the other vet for my first dog. After this recent visit its probably better that I just take both dogs to the original vet I had even though its further away. There Im appreciated as a dog owner and they have more follow through with my pet. There they dont just mention things and not follow up on them. Example twice the removal of a baby tooth has been mentioned / suggested saying that information about the procedure and estimate would be sent I have yet to receive either. If this procedure is that necessary follow up please.
Caring, excellent customer service... goesout of their way to assist the disabled & seniors. Also special TLC for our fur babies & beloved pets. Thank God for Buf Small Animal.
The clinic staff is kind and responsive, patient and thorough. We feel like our dog had a very complete and thoughtful exam. Great experience
If I could give 10 ✨ stars I would. Staff was amazing From the moment we pulled up in the parking lot. My pity, Hope was very nervous and scared. One of the Staff came out and helped bring her in the office. Beautiful,so sweet and kind to me and Hope. The doctor was great too! Amazing ! she gave Hope treats and made her feel comfortable. She also give me a lot of information on how to better care for Hope. I thank you very much and appreciate all the staff . You guys really rock !!!
First time client and first time pet owner. My experience has been nothing short of AMAZING. The staff was great. Especially, Kristie and Angeline. I am so impressed. I wish us humans received the same treatment they give at our doctor appointments. As long as I have a pet and live in Buffalo, this will forever be my vet!!
The service here was unreal. The Cat Lady was so helpful and so knowledgable and everyone was so nice. They were very understanding and really listened to what I had to say. This was little Milos first trip there and I feel like he is now part of the family there. I took him for just a Health and Wellness Check up and I think it was so incredibly helpful. This will definitely always be my vet for the life of my kitty kitty
Great Vets and support staff too. They all took great care of our cat! Very compassionate.
I have been taking my kitties to Buffalo Small Animal Hospital for years now. I trust that they will provide excellent care while giving me affordable options.
I love the emphasis on fostering a positive relationship between my dog and the vet.
By the grace of the gods over head someone ended up cancelling their appointment the day we had to rush our little girl in (we have never been customers) and every one we called couldnt help these guys did!! They addressed the issue and got her in for emergency surgery THE NEXT DAY!!! they saved my dogs life by having that cancellation and taking us in right away! They really treated her like she was theirs we always felt that we had great care for her throughout the whole time!!! So graceful for these guys!!!
Every member of the staff here treats us like family. They were very compassionate and patient with us when we had to make difficult end of life care decisions. They dont upsell everything and they take the time to get to actually know the animals.First class all the way!
They were able to get us in same day for an appointment. Great staff, great Dr’s!
Dr. Hider is the gentlest, kindest, and most caring doctor.Secretaries, assistants, and techs are knowledgeable, professional, and most compassionate.Bodie loves them!
Staffs great. Never followed up after they said they would, but hey were all busy.
I love the techs and the vets at this place. they take excellent care of my 4 year old dog and when I had to put my puppy down, they were so caring, compassionate and understanding. Dr. Mike was so awesome during that whole awful experience. Im so glad he was there with me. Absolutely the best place for my animals!Still love it here! My dog has such bad anxiety going to the vet and they are so patient with him. A few months ago, they suggested a supplement to help with his anxiety and he did so much better at his recent visit. I cant tell you how much I appreciate them.
Foxy is vey happy and we Love the service very happy omg we love them
Great staff had an animal years ago and they were good back then and are still great
My big baby and my kitties do very well coming here. The staff is incredibly kind and skilled. The front office is amazing, the techs are amazing, and the vets are amazing. The PawPlans are also a huge financial support with having 4 animals. All of the visits and routine procedures would start to add up with it. Very lucky to have found this place.
I honestly think that they wanted my puppy saying that he was sick and all and my other dogs came out fine. They where like he’s a rare pup and all of a sudden they wanted me to surrender my puppy with these ridiculous cost they where throwing out there! Then they call me talking about he died before he got operated when he was just fine when I left him! Then they have me pay a bill of over $300 and they keep my puppy!!! If I find out he’s alive I will sue!!
I called because my dog was ill and I had the appointment the same day. Upon our arrival the receptionist was excellent and polite which was wonderful. We also were greeted in the lounge lobby by the tech assistant with a smile and she was very concerned about our fur baby and she really cared. After speaking to the tech the doctor greeted us with a smile and was very pleasant to all of us as well. The doctor addressed our concerns very well. We thank the entire staff for showing love towards our fur baby Miss Hunnie. I would give 10Stars if I could. The lobby and room were so clean and it smelled so good. I would definitely recommend this clinic because they care about our fur babies. Also our fur baby is doing well today and we thank you from our heart. It should be noted that they didn’t break us financially and that was a PLUS.
Low key, calm collected service, knolowedgable staff - amazing w my sick and nervous dog.
I had a great first visit at the new location and was pleasantly surprised by the upgrade! Very large exam rooms and a comfortable waiting area. All the staff were wonderful from the second I arrived. Rebecca was great, as always, at helping me get my new kitten started with his PAW plan!
Super friendly and gentle! Toby loved them all! Super clean in all areas!
They are the most affordable in Buffalo and have treated my kitty Eleanor since she was a kitten; she is 7 now. They always give her lots of love and the staff is so gentle and kind to her as if it was their own pet, and we had a great experience yesterday. Everyone is friendly and they answer all your questions and concerns as needed, and they dont shame you. My only upset is that my appointment was at 4:20 and I didnt get pulled back until 4:55, but it was busy. Maybe short staffed, but Eleanor was given great treatment and we werent rushed around at all, so that made up for the wait. I really love this vet office!!
Came in for a quick blood draw, script pick-up & a nail trim(not Rosie’s favorite thing) and was quickly escorted to a room- she’s reactive to other pets. Friendly technician did a quick intake and within 30 minutes we were done and happy! The kindest, knowledgeable & patient staff around!
Fast and well informed vets. I was happy to be out the door less than an hour.
Kitties in boxes dont like to wait, but the room made them happier because they could walk around.
Excellent customer service and place was so clean! Staff were professional
Excellent service. My cat was sick they got me in right away. My regular vet was not in. Very thorough, wonderful staff. Highly recommend.
I didnt know they moved but our visit was very good. Everyone was so nice and took the time to answer questions I had. Ive been taking my pets to them for decades and have always been happy with how they care for my pets.
Been going here for a year since I adopted my 2 kitties. They always appeared rushed and annoyed at my questions. Nothing bizarre but no good vibes here.Leaving a 1 star review because during my last check up they diagnosed my cat with a tooth absorption condition, affirmatively saying that I’d need to get him a dental + at least 2 teeth extracted at the cost of $1000+. They said I should get this done ASAP. I asked if he seems to be eating and behaving fine is it still urgent. They said wait a couple months if I want but urged me to be considerate of his pain. I price checked a couple of animal hospitals and finally found VCA, went there for a wellness checkup, and was told that at the VERY MOST my cat has mild inflammation on his teeth but really nothing to worry about.I can’t say if the vets at Buffalo small animal hospital were just incompetent or intentionally scamming. Either way, I am extremely disappointed as I was told to perform a pricey procedure on my cat with a false diagnosis, worrying about his pain and almost gave him pain killers for no reason. in combination with their poor service in the past, I can’t justify a rating above one star.
Absolutely love this place! Especially caramel! The staff is always welcoming and pleasant for a first time dog owner
As usual everything was great!! 👍🏼
Attentive Staff, wait time was pretty quick, very clean facility
My husband and I had an appt. Scheduled for my German Shepherd he had a bad ear infection. When we got in the car to take him to the vet and our car wasnt working. My husband called to let them know and they told him he would have to put a down payment. We have been with them for years and we ended up paying over $5,000 because my dog needed a lot. I dont think we will be going there again.
Amazing vet! Caring, compassionate, friendly and really takes the time to understand and get to the root of concerns. I take my 6 year old dog and my 6 month old dog who has made multiple visits a for a pork allergy and mischievous behavior. Pricing has been reasonable. I highly recommend them!
They were the only vet I could get my pup in quick. They were quick and kind. They explained everything in a way I could understand. The price was reasonable. They even complimented my guy on his handsome looks and good behavior. Also complimented me on how well hes being kept. That meant a lot to me considering Im fairly new to being a pet owner.
If there is an emergency with another animal they should let people know who are waiting. I sat in the exam room with my dog for 50 minutes. I finally opened the door and asked what was going on. My time is also valuable to me.
Thank you all for everything! This truly is a place that cares about animals & families. The compassion this place has shown to my fur pup has been amazing. Thank you all for everything! - Stinky & Brian
They were very nice. Answered all of my questions and tried to help me with anything that I had issues with. They were quick getting me in and out and just a very friendly loving staff! And took very good care of my kittens!
I called on Friday (7/7) to pay an outstanding balance and provided my new card info for the paw plan, I was told I was all set. Then I got an email today (7/13) saying there is still a balance, so I called the office for an explanation and Jessica told me she doesnt know who I spoke with at the time of payment, but the balance was from June. Unfortunately, I requested to cancel the paw plan since no one knows what is going on and why I received another past due bill when the outstanding balance was paid in full a few days ago per the info I was given by phone on 7/7. It makes no sense!
Amazing staff! You can tell how much everyone on the staff loves and cares for what they do.
Friendly knowledgeable staff. Clean facility. I’ve gone before with my dog and since I had such great experiences I brought my new lykoi kitten. They were very accommodating, I initially had an appointment for both my kittens for next week but they were able to see my female early as she needed her stitches removed from when the breeder had her spayed for me. Everyone stopped to stop see her and say how beautiful she was. My kitten wasn’t too happy about the shot she needed but they handled her like pro’s.
My dog bear had a surgery to get neutered. I purchased a doggie health insurance plan for only 60 dollars a month. It covered the whole procedure. Only had to pay for anesthesia. The staff were absolutely phenomenal. So upbeat and caring. Made me and my girlfriend extremely comfortable leaving him in there hands. He is making his recovery as we speak and is his normal crazy self. Thank you Buffalo Small Animal Hospital I wouldn’t take my dog anywhere else.
We had a great visit. The full staff is amazing. They remember us and great us as friends. The vet and vet tech are very knowledgeable and give good advice and tips. They offer constructive helpful suggestions. We are very happy with Buffalo Small Animal Hospital
I love this place! My Chow can be difficult, but everyone in the office loves him. Their groomer is amazing too! She is so patient and works amazingly with my dog. Its great to able to get wonderful care and grooming at the same location.
Very nice staff, doctors and overall great pet care
I just love Buffalo Small Animal Hospital’s, new offices! They are incredibly spacious and bright. The staff is super friendly and accommodating. I love the paw plan where my dog gets a dental cleaning every year. No issues this year at all! I like staying on top of her dental health as An important part of her overall health. Thank you!
They were able to get us in as a new client for are 10 week old Yorkie for her shots and check up very friendly and no wait
It makes me sad to write this because I have been taking my dogs to Buffalo Small Animal for 35 years but under the current ownership, I have become uncomfortable trusting them with the care of my pets. This is for two primary reasons. First, they are understaffed and cannot keep veterinarians on staff. The doctors change literally every time I have made an appointment over the past four years. Some of these doctors I have found very caring and competent but when I go back they are gone. This alone tells me that something is very wrong with the practice if they cannot recruit and retain quality doctors. Second, while Rebecca, the long time person at the front desk is very nice, I have found (especially over the last 18 months) that the other front desk and office staff have been very rude to me over the phone and in person and, in the case of one woman, incredibly nasty. I have never missed an appointment, never not paid in full at the time of a visit and have brought a dozen different dogs there over the past 35 years because the doctors and staff were wonderful caring people. The majority of those people are gone (some left for the vet where I now take my dogs) and, unfortunately, I truly feel that the management does not care about their clients. They are managing the practice so poorly that all they care about is getting as much money as they can from a visit.
The staff was amazing to help diagnose and treat a problem with my cat. They explained everything in detail and listened to any questions I had . They made us feel very welcomed and are very patient and knowledgeable.
Excellent experience. From the individuals who answered the calls to schedule the appointment, to the vet techs to the Doctors. High-quality and trustworthy care with fair pricing.
I absolutely couldnt recommend this vet clinic enough. Dr. Dave is an incredibly caring vet & all the women at the front desk are so kind and helpful. My sweet Kitty had to have an oral surgery with them and the care they provided her was top notch. Unfortunately we had to put down our girl last week, she had cancer that we never knew about until it was too late. After getting the report from the emergency vet clinic I took my cat to, Dr. Dave gave me a personal phone call to offer his condolences. It was a gesture I will not soon forget. Thank you for all that you do to care for the small animals of our community!
The staff is very friendly, and Dr. Kanaby took the time clearly explain what was going with our dog and what the treatment options were.
Wonderful 👍😊 I have adopted a abandoned kitten. The staff and Veterinarian were extremely helpful and informative in regards to my new fur babys wellness needs.
Awesome vet! I am so comfortable leaving my dog there for any procedure. The staff really loves animals and it shows!
My first time walking in the front staff greeted me very attentively. Upon getting into the exam room, the staff was really friendly. I had a long wait between seeing the assistant and vet, but it was okay as vet explained that he was with a family who was struggling with the decision that they may need to put their dog to sleep. The vet spent plenty if time talking with me, answering questions, and explaining needs for kittens. My second visit was much faster, and continued to be a great experience. Everyone is friendly and really knowledgeable. Plus you cant beat the convenience of their paw plan that lets me plan monthly payments for my pets needs
Dr. Koelmel is incredible. She is responsive, thorough, kind and compassionate. The entire staff that I have interacted with over the past year couldn’t have been nicer and more accommodating. This vet clinic has undergone a remarkable transition for the better. I wouldn’t have recommended them five years ago but I do now without reservation.
The Entire staff is great, from the front desk to the doctors. They listen to my concerns and really care about my dog, whether she is in for a routine exam or sick visit. We typically see Dr. Koemel and trust her to help keep our dog healthy! She is amazing!!
My fur baby had to have teeth removed. He has anxiety and seizures but they handle him perfectly. Couldn’t be happier with the care and treatment!
Took two brand new pups for their first routine visit. staff is friendly and the doctor was also very nice. Pricing was very fair for the services we received.
I’ve taken pets to Buffalo Small Animal Hospital for 40 years. During the last several years, especially because of Covid, my experience with the vets wasn’t as satisfying. But I was thrilled to meet Dr. Kanaby. She gave the most thorough exam to my new pet and spent a great deal of time talking to me. I was happy to experience expert treatment from caring professionals!
My first visit was months ago when i had to make the hard decision to send my mastiff over the rainbow. They were super great about and sent his ashes home with a Beautiful paw print. I just brought my new English Bulldog there & they were just as good! She received her 12wk shots and a micro chip. They gave me free samples for heartworm & fleas & tics! They will now be my go to veterinarian for all my pet needs! I absolutely recommend them!
I took my two cats Ryan and Vita here for almost 20 years (1999 - 2016). I was always very impressed and happy with the care and attention we received. When my cat Ryan got sick and passed last year, the staff was incredibly kind and supportive and it meant the world to me. I highly recommend them. If I hadnt moved to another city, I would still be a customer. Keep up the great work!
My mother has been bringing her animals to this location since before I was even a though, and I have always brought them since I’ve been on my own with my own animals. They are always attentive, the vets take the time to answer any questions and have Greta personalities! Dr.Dave so absolutely amazing and doesn’t try to “upsell” you on any unnecessary to. I would recommend anyone to this vet!!! Just brought them and with Covid being a risk they did a fantastic job to help address the concerns that many have during this hard time.
The response by Kim the office manager is completely false- no one was kind or responsive as you can see in other reviews. Ashley and Kim should both be fired for their poor handling of customers and rudeness. They brought out the records of our dogs when my husband came to pick up medication today and said we were no longer patients and refused to work with us to ensure that we could get the medications our senior dogs need while we transition to another vet. The actual veterinarians that we have seen have been fine but the current administrative staff is terrible!!! Read other reviews to see this. I wonder what rude response from the management I will receive now for telling the truth. If there is a manager higher than Kim I would love to speak with them because Kim refused to give me her bosses name and hung up on me.I to schedule an appointment for my sick pet on Monday fully expecting to wait at least 2 weeks as it was not an emergency. The next date available was over a month away. When I questioned why the next available date was over a month away I was told in a very rude unprofessional way that if it was an emergency I should take my dog to the emergency vet When I asked to speak with the manager she was even ruder and claimed I was being rude when I questioned her. I asked her who her manager was and she refused to tell me. She claimed she didnt have her information. I said thats ok but you must know their name. And she refused to tell me. Who does that? Buffalo small animal hospital has completely gone down hill within the last year. They have eliminated boarding, its a revolving door with the vets on staff and now they no longer have Saturday hours. The staff is rude, unresponsive and unprofessional. My husband went to pick up our senior dogs medication and they came out with his meds and our two dogs files and said your wife was rude on the phone and that we were no longer patients. They will not fill our dogs prescriptions at all. My dogs are on several prescriptions to stay healthy and they were unwilling to work with us to help transition to a new vet. My dogs are 13 and 14 years old and I have never had a problem - ever -with any vet . Please do yourself a favor and go somewhere else.
Nice clean facility. Super nice employees. Dr. Sara was outstanding. She took the time to answer all my questions and even called me at home personally to follow up on my pet. Prices are super reasonable too. No complaints here.
The staff was very friendly, and understanding of any issues I had. My fur baby actually seemed more relaxed.
I went there yrs ago. This time most recently my friend took his dog here for updated shots etc....seemed good as well didnt go in tho. But the vet came out to chat info to us and thats great, not only the assistant. So overall no complaints.
A+ experience. I have an indoor cat that was stressed out going to the vet but they treated me and my little buddy Diego extremely well and we were in and out of their office in about a half hour. I’ll definitely be coming back next year for his yearly checkup.
During my pets follow-up visit on August 17, 2020, related to his dental cleaning on August 7, 2020, care of my pet and service given was pleasant, inviting and respectable. The wait was not long pertinent information taken as well as given. Instructions given to continue medications as prescribed, call if any further problems... appointment made for annual visit. All in all a good visit with communication which was much appreciated.
Great vet who spends time to understand your pet and takes time to answer all your questions. They are very knowledgeable and caring, and dont try and upsell things to you. 10/10.
The staff is always friendly, very attentive, extremely knowledgeable & patient. They take the time to listen to your concerns and will gladly answer all your questions. What I love most is how loving & caring the staff is to my 3 rescue cats & my rescued pitbull. They also have paw plans for those with financial concerns. They are taking the necessary precautions.. in light of Covid.. to keep both owners and pets safe.We Highly recommend The Buffalo Small Animal Hospital!P.S. And did I mention how great they are with our fur-babies. 😉❤️🐾
Wonderful caring staff, very attentive to animals and owners. Informative communication, the dr i seen was a fill in but spoke to me in civilian tLk n not vet talk. Answered all my questions n i didnt feel rushed or pressured.
If I could give this place 0 stars I would. EVERY SINGLE TIME my dog has need to be seen due to being sick or any concern I may have, they have NOTHING available for months. They provide all of these phone numbers to other clinics that are 24 hours but when called, they are not. I do not recommend taking your pet here. By time you get an appointment your pet will probably be dead. A friend of mine has had the same experience.
Staff were friendly knowledgeable and took the time to address any concerns. They were very thorough and made sure I understood everything. There were no hidden costs they explain everything in regards to cost and also work with you.
A good visit. First time with a new vet. Everything was satisfactory. Made the appointment for the referral to the cardiac specialist.
I am always pleased with Buffalo Small Animal Hospitals care for the animals and the pet owners. The veterinarian took such time with me to explain what was going on, to walk through options for care, to take my cats sassiness in great humor and stride, and to offer personal, friendly care in our conversation. I havent taken my pets anywhere else in 15 years, and have no plans to make a change. I am delighted with this Vet service. (msg from August 2020)
They helped us make the best possible informed decision regarding our cat. Ultimately the best choice was euthanasia. They were very understanding, they gave us affordable options for giving us time to gain comfort and closure with the decision. We were allowed to stay with him during and after the procedure, on the appointed day. I was even late due to being fuzz brained and dealing with work related issues, but they took us anyway. It was heart wrenching as expected, but solemn, and professional. It was the very best a bad situation could be.
The whole staff really care about your pets health.
As a first time pet owner, I had some concernes about adopting a senior cat with medical issues. The staff at Buffalo Small Animal Hospital have eased all of my fears. They listened to my concerns and spent the time to educate me so id know what to do if she got sick. The curbside service was fantastic - at one point during our appointment, my phone lost service while speaking with the vet. She then came out to the car - maintaining a safe distance and wearing a mask- to continue our convo about my cats health. The whole staff was so kind. I not only feel much more confident as a pet owner, but also confident that if my kitty does get sick, she will be in the right hands!!!
These guys used to be good, but things have changed. Maybe some training on customer service and empathy would be a start.Thank you for the response, but I dont think there is any way to ensure our next visit is a good one, since I was told we need to take our business elsewhere and was given a stack of records to give to our new vet - whoever that will be. Nice.
Location is not really visible or ideal. Entrance was way back in the parking lot. It creeped me out back there. The inside was very nice. Staff is very knowledgeable and friendly.
My dog Barkley has been going here since I got him 2 years ago. The staff are always so polite and accommodating. I’ve only had great experiences and Barkley loves going there!
Beware, the dollar is more important to them than your animals health or comfort and the satisfaction of the customer. I, like many other reviewers, felt that the Vet and Techs are coercive. My Cat was dying, the Vet said he had a heart condition and after paying over 200 dollars in lab work that said he was in perfect health (he died a week and a half later) the vet suggested that we get his teeth pulled, a procedure that would cost between 1,200-1,800 dollars.Heres the first salesman tactic that I noticed: (If we did it now we would spend less money) when we were hesitant the vet said that if we didnt do this within a couple days our cat would have to get the lab work done again. After we decided against the procedure we were told they were legally required to give a rabies shot. We refused saying hes an indoor only cat. They said again that they had too. Ive read the law, they are not! I, as the owner, need to request it.At the time of service they failed to charge me for the rabies shot. They called me few days later and asked me to pay over the phone, I was busy so I had them bill me. A week later my cat died and I forgot the bill. A month later I received an invoice with an 8 dollar increase.I went directly to the Vet office and aired this whole list of complaints to give them a chance, they were unmoved and unwilling to appease me, they threatened to send my bill to collections. So, for 32 dollars the Buffalo Small Animal Hospital has bought one less patient.
What an amazing group of people! We are adopting a small Pomeranian from here and have had a great experience. The tech Kelly( also the foster mamma) has been very helpful with any questions we have had. We are thrilled to have found this sweet little puppy and cant wait to make her a permanent part of our home!Thank you to the office manager Chelsea for introducing us to this little gem :)
I brought my puppy pit there the first time was great, everything was fine...2nd time there..they took him in without me for shots. 3rd time I went in concerned about his stomach and it not looking right and he also (this the first time seeing him do this) was shaking Iike a leaf. They felt him and just told me he was fine. My dog HAS CANCER. found in a simple xray. Noticeably something was wrong. Do not EVER take your pet there if your concerned and want ur pet to LIVE. HORRIBLE.
I give them 100 stars over and over and over!! Theyre the best Veterinarian hospital in WNY hands down! I cant stress that enough!! Dr. Koelmel is an exceptional Vet. She went above and beyond and saved my little 16 yr old Boomers life. I absolutely love her! The staff is so pleasant, professional and very caring. They offer Paw Plan (Health Insurance). Their prices are very affordable. They have plenty of free parking and convenient hours. Its a win win for everyone!! I recommend Buffalo Small Animal Hospital to anyone who wants great care for their fur family pets.
Take my rescued and previously abused APBT here for shots and shes on the overprotective/fear aggressive side(not her fault)...great staff and when you have an appointment scheduled youre actually seen at the appointment time! No waiting around for 30mins which is GREAT because shes quite the handful. Shes been coming there since she was a puppy, she was given to me at 8mos and is now 8yrs and loved.UPDATE: 3-4-21 just scheduled an appt for a very sick cat Ive taken in from my TNR colony. The receptionist was very patient and answered any questions I had about Paw Plans coverage for him since Im keeping him, now. She also provided phone numbers and addresses for emergency clinics just in case. Also, not sure why owner responded calling me Shane in their response lolUPDATE:3-15-21 Had to make the decision today to end Hemis suffering. The staff was able to schedule a next morning appt but allowed me to bring him in last minute and let me take my time. They were incredibly understanding and compassionate. RIP HEMI😢❤🐾🌈
Bella and I barely had to wait in the car - perhaps 5 - 10 minutes. The staff were very friendly and efficient. The veterinarian was kind and thorough in reporting his assessment of Bellas condition.
I don’t recommend this vet. We had issues with one of our dogs having anxiety. They put him on medication and after 2 weeks it wasn’t working so they added another medication. I requested this doctor call me back but I ALWAYS got a poor excuse why she couldn’t. After almost 3 weeks the doctor called back leaving a message that my dog shouldn’t be on 3 medications. No one EVER told us this prior. This office is completely unprofessional and rude. Received numerous nasty comments by the office manager and secretaries. Their staff changes over very often and now I know why. Do not take any pets to this vet!
Rebecca is the nicest person in the front end at this office she is companionate and caring.....Not sure who Ashely is but she was rude called for a emergency situation that was going on with my companion dog and she just kept telling me “take her to a hospital because we are booking until December”. I asked Ashely if I can speak to a vet she said they are not in I said can I speak with Rebecca she said she’s not in so I called back explain to Rebecca what was going on she was able to get my sweet little girl in right away. Thank you Rebecca for being so caring and compassionate and all the doctors at Buffalo small Animal Hospital on Elmwood.. Oh and I can’t forget about Ashley the groomer she is also amazing❤️🐶
I am really happy with Elmwood Small Animal Hospital. Ashleigh is my Kiki’s groomer. I’m always happy with the care she take of my anxious little girl pup and how professional she is. I’m happy with Kiki’s hair, she comes home looking so clean and adorable, sporting cute little hair Barretts and neck bandana. Kiki and I are very satisfied costumers .
The vets and techs here are very professional and friendly. They take their time to explain any procedures and answer any questions.Ashley always cuts my long-haired dachshunds hair just like we like it.
We are totally fed up with this vets business practices. Weve been with this vet for about 10 years. And so out of respect, let me start with the few positives we could say. The staff in general is friendly. They are time efficient with appointments. They may not have the right answers to your questions, but they do at least listen. And thats about all. Now the real issues. First, the vets rotate through there frequently. Every year we see someone new for our dog. Someone unfamiliar with her and they always seem to have different levels of experience. So some are better than others, but there is no consistency in treatment. The place is very unclean and the air is unfiltered, which at first I thought was normal. When we go there we leave with lots of fur from other animals on our clothes. The dander in the air causes me to sneeze and cough from the moment I walk it, until hours after I leave. Meanwhile our other dog has been going to another vet office for a year and a half and that place is immaculate. I never sneeze, rub my eyes, cough or leave with animal hair. Which made me realize how unclean this vets office really just is. The biggest issue that we have is pricing. Our two dogs are the same height and weight. So when they need meds, they are given the same amount and dosage. This vets office charges double and sometimes triple the price for the same meds than the other vet charges. For instance, right now they are on Panacur for whip worms. The good vet charged us $51.40. This vet charges $106 for the exact same med and dose!!!! And its like this every single time! They dont have much in the way of technology, so when your dog needs real treatment you have to be referred out and often end up paying two vets for the same issue! We really do not recommend this vet. It took me 12 years to write this review because I hate to be negative just that much. But I just couldnt take it anymore. After this last event with the worm medicine pricing. Enough is enough.
As of January 2022 the overall staff from reception to veterinarian are kind, attentive, compassionate, and above all really listen to you. I feel heard when I express concerns about my fur daughters. Paw 🐾 plan is literally a life saver for your kitten or elder babies. imo5*/5*
I honestly was so excited that a vet, groomer, and animal hospital was right down the road from me but after reading these awful reviews I am horrified by what this establishments practices have been. I’m so glad I read these before taking my new puppy there! I would have been mortified if somthing like what happened to these poor pet owners happened to the puppy I love so much and if you are thinking of going I STRONGLY suggest you read all the reviews beforehand. There might be a couple more good posts then bad but the story’s of the bad def our weighs the good in my opinion.
They are amazing. From helping me with the kitten I found at Coca-Cola Field to the loving care theyve given my 15 year old cat they are consistently outstanding. Lovely staff and reasonable pricing. I cant thank them enough.
It was the worst place Ive ever been to, I wouldnt recommend this place to anyone, the people there are the most unprofessional money grabbing people I have ever met. They took my friends cat inside, and said no one is allowed in there they came out in probably less then 5 minutes told the person I was with take her home and get a urine sample and walked in so I asked her what they charge and she said theyll probably bill me. Just then they ran out and said you have to pay! Shes been there many times before, and they must of needed lunch money? They actually said lucky we cought you trying to sneak away, I wouldnt have paid them at all the bill for the cat was $200. About $50. a minute and they didnt do a thing... I wouldnt even gave them one star they are the worst people I ever met
We adopted a puppy from the Buffalo Animal Shelter and she was spayed at the Buffalo Small Animal Hospital. We chose to have them be our regular vet for our dog. We saw both Dr. Wagner and Dr. Sardina. They were both extremely nice and knowledgeable. The vet techs were also great and showed us how to do some simple things such as trimming her nails. My husband and I were first time dog owners and first time puppy trainers and we appreciated all of their help and tips along the way. We would absolutely recommend Buffalo Small Animal Hospital to anyone looking for a great vet.
Great appointment for my baby first vet visit Im super happy it went so smooth and they gave me so much information Im happy to be apart of their family
I have used Buffalo Small Animal Hospital for two years, since I moved to Buffalo, and I have always experienced extreme care and professionalism from the team, including Dr. Koelmel. She has gone above-and-beyond for my pets especially when my cat had terminal cancer. She texted me every day to check on the status of Frank, and when he passed away, she genuinely was there to care for him and me. Ive taken my two dogs and three cats there for annual appointments and several emergencies, and each time it was exceptional.
Changes in procedures were made due to covid 19, but the new process went smoothly. They were prompt in assessing the situation of my cat and it didnt take long to here from the doctor. Payment was easy and someone was right out with my cat, her meds and my receipt.
We adopted a beautiful new 4 legged baby into our family. And we decided on the The Buffalo Animal Hospital when it came time for her 1st vet check. The doctor was very patient with her, as she sure is rambunctious. And helped me with a lot of the new-mom questions, and answers. We have insurance and all the information on our puppy which helps a lot of with future vet bills
A professional, kind, and attentive staff from the receptionists to the doctors. Clean and inviting facility. The care they provided to my ten year old cat, Crystal, was excellent and has yielded positive results.
Fantastic vet! Such wonderful people that work there. They were so wonderful to my dog!
Caring patient understanding sympathic to ur needs.. will share all options necessary to help make the right decisions for care.
Great insurance plan that saved me a lot of money. I would skip the grooming services. Everything else is pretty good. Friendly staff that remembers your pets name.
Great service from beginning to end. Simba was so scared and they made him comfortable 🧡
We decided to board our dog, Johnnie, there for the weekend. We were greeting by a recenptionist with a complete lack of customer service skills, very unfriendly. When we were done checking him in we were apparently ready to go, but she didnt tell us that for another 10 minutes (we were waiting in sight). The individual we saw walking dogs was smoking, Id prefer my Johnnie to not have smoke in his lungs. They also underfed our pup! How dare they?! He was returned with half of the food packed for him still in the container! I had only given 2 meals extra in the container! He also attained a UTI and a scratch of the top of his head while we were there. They also charged and did a check up (without notifying us first) However, the one good thing they did, they found an ear infection and began treatment.Long story short please dont bring your dog there!
The staff has an easy and caring manner in treating the animals and their human companions. It is a great place to take your fur baby for care.
I took my 2 kittens to them everyone was very nice helpful and the staff and doctors were as well. My orange kitten well both were sick. Got them off of Craigslist 😞he had an infection and ulcers on both eyes.. happy to say they are better and he can see💪🏽💪🏽💕💕because they are small and didn’t deserve that. Take your pets to them asap if sick
This place has always been my go to for all my pets…the staff are very friendly and address your needs and concerns. The doctors are awesome…Dr. Andrzejewski is the best!! If your looking for a Vet for your pets I advise you to choose Buffalo Small Animal Hospital you won’t be disappointed.
On my last visit, the Vet & Technician were very kind and made sure my pet got to know them before they began the visit. They sat on the floor waiting until my dog allowed them to pet her.
Wonderful! Got me in the same day on a cancellation (as a new patient!!) for my very sick cat after a health crisis and were very sweet to my extremely anxious girl. Thank you!
I have been coming here for years primarily for grooming but occasionally for an emergency visit when my primary vet is too busy or out of town and it is a matter that requires urgency. Judy at the front desk is always extremely accommodating and will slip me into the schedule! The Grooming is TOP NOTCH! Dawn is always excited to see my dog and my dog loves to see everyone there. I dont know what they do to him while he is there but he is always extremely excited when we get there! Dawn is very knowledgeable and always capable of answering my questions about my dogs coat. I have never had a dog that sheds so proper coat maintenance is something rather new to me. I asked about shaving him in the summer to help him stay cool, she then informed me about how shedding works and how his coat actually helps him cool off! She also likes to dress him up for holidays by adding a bow or a festive cover to his collar.Whenever I have dealt with veterinary staff they have always been friendly and informative. They care about the animals and have taken time to make sure that my dog is comfortable enough to perform what ever exam is necessary. My dog likes to hurt himself a lot. somehow he is always cutting himself on a stick or running into something! so when I have gone there scared to death that he wont be ok they have reassured me that everything is ok! and dogs will be dogs.
Got Yelled at by a receptionist for being 13 min late..i did call and let them know i was running behind at work..a 10 dollar late fee .she 👉yelled👈 at me you are 20 minutes late you missed your entire appointment and told me they would NOT take me ..2 appointments after me were already there and being seen.. when they did end up seeing me after someone asked the vet .i waited 3 weeks for that appointment and had to leave work early to get there.. Unfortunately had to send someone 911 to hospital ..waiting for the transfer put me 13 minutes late completely disgracefulness the way i was spoke to even after i explain why i was late she continues to say no they will not see me ..i have been a customer 4 years and now i am looking into changing vets.
Great place to go. Great customer service and reasonable prices. All of my animals I owned has been taken care of by Buffalo Small Animal Hospital. Love this place❤️❤️❤️
The Doctor who accomadated our visit was new to us..He concentrated more on Cooper Ming s heart murmur than the reason we came n for..Not familiar with his bedside manner, so I was taken aback & devastated that he put a quessing period on my babys life..He ran blood work on him, & I hv not heard from him yet..My husband & both cried all day & night..Cooper is our heart , our World..We had a conference w/Dr.Patricia Tempkee today, she is sendg over the results from our office visit w/ her n June. She has been managing Coopers heart Condition for 4 yrs..We trust her immensely. Any decisions or therapies re: Cooper Heart she has to be involved in the decision making..I hv been coming to BSAH since I was 4yrs old..Trust me that is a loose of years..Rebecca & Ashley r like Coopets family..Unfortunately My experience was sad!
The services they charged me for were double, almost triple the price I get at other vets. The vet sent me home with medicine without explaining what it was, what its for or how to use it. I ended up paying around $400 for a cat exam and blood work. I would suggest going to a different more affordable vet clinic.
This is my new veterinarian office. So far so good. I love the pet insurance. Staff very nice! Clean facility. Fast service.
This place is the best, they are very friendly, caring for the animals and they get to know their customers. I have 2 dogs and wouldnt take them anywhere else!!!
Fantastic customer service! We were in and out quickly. They make sure they fully explain everything to you as well. Staff super friendly
The absolute best place to take your babies!! The staff is kind and patient and always tend to whatever the need is!! I always feel safe here
I have been going to this vet since I moved to Buffalo in the early 1980s. It was the only vet in Buffalo that hired women vets. My service has always been top notch. The care for each animal has always been caring and they listen to what you have to say. When my very old dog could no longer walk they helped me through the transition to put him to sleep. Right now they have brought my 17 year old outside cat back from the brink. He needed thyroid tables twice a day. He has his bounce back and he has gained weight and he is enjoying life again. Thank you Buffalo SAH.Linda Marie Franchell & Jesse Grossman
Very professional and kind. I love that they care about making your pet feel comfortable.
If I could give your Veterinary practice ZERO stars I would! My family has been bringing animals to your practice for years, and the quality of care has continued to decline! From my mother being told she was bad pet parent for having a sick animal euthanized (because she couldnt dish out thousands of dollars on a surgery that had less than a 50/50 chance) to the care you have provided to my 5 animals personally. When my 14 year old rabbit, yes he lived to 14, had to be euthanized you left me sitting in the waiting area ALONE crying my eyes out while my animal was taken from my hands, euthanized, and I was handed back a dead body in a box! I have NEVER heard of a practice not allowing you to be with your animal for this procedure, but you had no problem with it. Then I bring in a Great Dane puppy, and one of your vets tried convincing me Hills Science Diet puppy food was the BEST food for him and lectured me on how uneducated I was for feeding a raw diet, mind you this was AFTER telling me how healthy he was and how wonderfully he was growing/developing! This same vet tried to convince me to neuter my Dane puppy at just 4 months old! Anyone who knows anything about extra large breeds knows that is a huge no no; their body needs to develop properly BEFORE being neutered, and 18 months or older is the recommended age but Im not vet so my opinion and research didnt matter. Then offering to cut my newly rescued bully breed mixs nails and he was quicked so bad the powder didnt even work to stop the bleeding! The whole foot had to be wrapped up; Ive never quicked him, but again Im no vet so no one cared what I had done or how I did it... but you were so nice (*note sarcasm) to tell me you wouldnt charge me for that service, I mean you only clipped 2 nails and one had my dog bleeding EVERYWHERE, but youre the professionals. And lastly and most importantly the straw that broke the camels back! My Dane ended up sick and not eating, he was brought to your practice for an emergency visit as we knew something wasnt right, well it took about 5 minutes to even be acknowledged... sounds like an emergency, right? After tests and xrays etc he was diagnosed with gastroenteritis, no big deal. Then he was prescribed 3 medications to make him better, and given the MAXIMUM dosage of metronidazole for his weight/size; 3000mg per day, 3 pills (500mg each) every 12 hours 6x500 = 3000mg every 24 hours! We were given no drug information, but apparently this drug can cause all sorts of issues with the nervous system! Well, when my big 167lb boy was collapsing in my backyard and I called your practice to see if this was a side effect of the medication I was told, Someone will call you back. YES! Because a 19 month old puppy collapsing randomly isnt important; why did I need called back you may ask? Oh, because your practice decided there should be an ALL staff meeting DURING regular business hours which you should be open and available! Instead, I received an answering service who could NOT help me! Luckily, my neighbor referred another vet (who I will be writing a rave review for) and helped me get my dog in my car for transport. Not only was someone willing and able to take my call they wanted to see him IMMEDIATELY! I shared with this office the drugs he was prescribed and was informed right away he has metronidazole toxicity, and started showing pre-seizure symptoms. Had they not taken me right away he could have had a full blown seizure, and I would not have known what to do as I was NOT aware this drug could do this to my dog! Did you know 1/3 the amount your office prescribed would have actually cured his GI issue?! But, Im no vet so what do I know? This drug caused an issue with dogs nervous system and could have been much worse had I not made it to a vet when I did. And to make matters worse, when your office FINALLY returned my call (after he was already hooked up to IVs and being treated) your vet chose to talk over me and be argumentative! So much more to say, but it exceeds the character limit
Everyone was great. I felt heard and they took good care of my dog
Dr. Dave is the kindest humanistic person I have ever met, although my dog Lady wasnt the easiest to deal with he still treated her professionally....I will forever use him for my pet needs at the Buffalo Small Animal Hospital and the staff are equally awesome and I thank all of you.... Sincerely Karen Price......Actual Client!
I have always had a pleasant experience with the staff and services here, and am so grateful that they take such good care of my dog!
My puppy and I had a great experience at the Buffalo Small Animal Hospital. Everyone greeted us and showed a interest in my dogs health and care! I was very impressed and this will be Butters health facility permanently.
Dr Josh and his team where wonderful and very considerate during my time there with Murphy by Boxer. We had to put Murphy to sleep and all the staff there where very considerate and helpful. Murphy is a better place now chasing Squirrels. My next dog and I will be always going to BSAH!!
Ive been going for years. They have a friendly and talented staff. My only complaint is just generic to vets in general, they charge more for medicine that you can get cheaper over the counter.
Its been two years since our 16 year old beloved cat, Apollo, was put to sleep at the BSAH. It was a horrible experience. A needle was inserted into his little leg (he weighed only 6 lbs) and he struggled so much that 2 assistants had to hold him down. After several minutes, he was comatose but still breathing. The techs had to do the procedure a second time because, in their terms, he was still fighting to stay alive. At this point my husband and I left the room and returned after the second attempt was successful. A horrible way to remember our pets final moments.
I love this place my puppers loves it( I think he loves it because he gets treats lol) everyone from the front desk to the vet are very professional and very friendly to us humans and extra friendly to our furbabies..I’d highly recommend this place to other furbaby parents!!!
We signed up for the puppy plan and paid around $800+ to have our austrailian shepard fixed and vaccinated. Buffalo Small Animal Hospital would not honor the last round of shots covered by the plan, that was paid in full, because our appointment was February 17th instead of the 10th. I though it was petty to jam us for $130 for a shot that would have been covered the previous week. I guess well be looking for a new vet.
Ive been taking my dog to this vet for so many years. Not only their respectable but they show so much love to my dog and others as well.
The staff at the reception desk were courteous and helpful. The Vetanarian was kind professional, even if my dog did like getting her shots.
Upon my visit I was greeted, respected and left with full appreciation by the patience given and time of making things clear for my understanding. Im grateful. Thank you 😊.
Best care for my dog ever I love it I will recommend to any of my friends thank you!!
I am extremely disappointed my Rottweiler was a patient for 8yrs. I referred four people to this vet and spent a lot of money over the past 8 yrs including special services like grooming, boarding bubbles even donated blood while boarding there and now that Bubbles is not doing well having problems walking small animal clinic was not helpful for preventive care and now acting like they just don’t care! now she’s at the end of the road! Wish I never took my bubbles there!
I just took my dog here. Eww. First, it smells super weird and looks extremely drab. The technicians were pouring lysol everywhere, probably to cover up the weird smell, but it was pretty hard to breathe. The vet examined my dog for less than 1 minute, asked me less than 5 questions, and then treated my dogs sebaceous cyst by shaving it with a shaver and supposedly aspirating it with a needle. Then he gave me $50 in meds that I dont need (the topical antibiotic ointment I might be sold on, but the inflammatory pills Im pretty sure were garbage. So my less than 15 minute visit came to $124. Well, youll got my money people, but I will not ever come back.
Ive been going here for a few years with my cats. With covid it has been difficult to get an appointment, but they seem to be easier to secure appointments that other places, and when there is a serious problem they will do everything they can to get your pet in and help
Great.they was kind in very patient with my fur baby.thank you guys for what you do.
I always take my cats here. They are friendly and helpful.
Wonderful staff!!! Wonderful service!!! My Bella loves her visits!!
Everything was clean. The Dr and nurses were kind to my pet and me. I was given a small discount for a return visit for the same problem.
Ive taken my animal here for years and Im never disappointed with staff..they truly care for your animal and always ask you if you have any questions or concerns for your pet
We were seen within a few minutes and the technician and the Dr were great.
Excellent,professional and friendly staff.
Very friendly and understanding staff. They show they value their clients and care deeply about your pets.
Dr Dave genuinely cares and is so respectful to his patients! Buffalo Small Animal Hospital is always friendly, accommodating, and compassionate.
Love this place! The lady vets are SOOOOOOO caring! All my babies are VERY well taken care of, I never have to worry about them. BEST vet EVER!!
You know your Vet office and staff are amazing when your dog can’t wait to get there!
Justice had a great visit time.Im wife was a scared to leave her alone for the first time but the staff kept us updated on how she was doing .
Amazing staff . So good with all my fur family .
I have only used them for boarding, but was very impressed with the staff and the cleanliness. I will probably start taking my dog there for all of her care.
Made everything relaxing and easy even though we can’t go inside with our pets during COVID. Offered lots of different care options without judgement.
Fast check in, staff excellent with my cat and luv the larger rooms
I was a little hesitant but after seeing how sweet and gentle u all are , I’m so glad I found u all!
Wonderful stuff awesome doctor Im so glad that I found this place
I took my sick cat their was toald he was ok. 3 weeks later I had to get my beloved cat of 13 yrs put down. Im still very heartbroken over this. I would not trust that dr. With anything.
The staff is very friendly and knowledge and the prices are affordable. I have always had good experiences at this location and highly recommend it to my friends and family.
Handle my dogs with respect and care, Ive had bad experiences with other vets that I thought stressed the dogs out too much. They are always very kind and considerate.
The staff here are some of the most amazing people in animal care. The vets are friendly and knowledgeable and the receptionists always leave you with a smile
Always friendly, caring, efficient, Affordable. Ive taking my dogs there for 7 years. Id recommend it.
They are honest and up front about expenses and helpful when it comes to finding solutions and willing to demonstrate what to do before administering a medicine at home.
Iv been going here for sometime now and there the only ones i trust with my 2 dogs and 6 cats health and there groomer is amazing wit my cat. I dont have any complais at all
It took a while to be seen because there were some emergencies. The vet apologized and have me a nail trim for free! Always pleasant and helpful.
Very good thanks go to all we encountered. 👍
Very professional and friendly. They provide good care and dont push unnecessary procedures. They give you all the options and work with you on what is right for your family.
They are always nice to us and our dogs we recently had to put our oldest pit bull down and they were so nice to us they gave us as much time as we needed with him before and after they sent us a card as well as called us I truly appreciate these people and everything they did to help us through such a horrible time in our lives
Pull up curb side service worked flawlessly. Buffalo Small Animal hospital employee Very friendly and considerate. A+ experience. Highly recommended.
The visit & check was prompt. The Vet was courteous & patient in speaking to us. Love the first visit, looking forward to the next.
I was able to get an emergency appointment for my cat when my regular vet was booked up. He had an infection from a bite and we.left quite healthy. Thanks a bunch!
My visit to Buffalo small animal hosp. Was positive. The workers show their love and patience for the animals Dr. mroziak explained everything in detail.
Very nice and helpful! Just visited for my first appointment w/my newly adopted cats and they were very welcoming!
I love this place, theyve taken excellent care of my dog for nearly 7 years now... We only switched because I moved out of Buffalo.
Always great people, staff and techs and doctors to give you great advice and to care for your pets.
Best vet in the city! They can do everything your animal might need and provide really good insurance. They also have a lot of resources.
Never a problem getting an appointment, prices are manageable, employees are nice, King likes going for the ride.
I love the front desk and everyone that comes in contact with me and Roscoe. Makes the visit more calming
They took care of my Yorkie, Ill give them a ten now I have a Lab and taking her to them I trust them.
They’re very nice, can get you an appointment quickly, and communicate very well
Coco and Dizzy love coming to their Vet. Everyone is so helpful and caring. Very good doctor for the little ones 🐶🐶
Brittany Nuzum is amazing! Shes gentle and loving and an amazing person. She truly cares about the animals and the people.
