Smooches for Pooches is a great place. My Abbie loves to go there and comes out with an A+ grooming. The staff is professional, friendly, and courteous. They are the best.

My 11 month old mini Bernedoodle Elara was completely messed up by a groomer at a chain store. She had matts on her ears and her butt and we trusted the groomer to take care of her and he left her off so much worse. She was uneven in so many places and looked so bad. My aunt and uncle had been coming to Smooches for Pooches for years with their dog and highly recommended them. I called and they were able to get her in, fixed the matts and she still left looking so cute!! (As a doodle owner, whenever you hear matts and needing to shave them you automatically think it means they’ll look ugly coming out, but she was able to make her coat healthy and take out the knots without sacrificing cuteness!) Her groomer educated us on our dogs coat and how often she should be coming in for maintenance, due to her coat/hair type. 10/10 highly recommend for communication, and skill, as she not only kept my dog looking adorable, but she fixed another groomer’s bad work! I took my other 8 month old mini bernedoodle puppy there and she left looking adorable as well! They both grew out beautifully also (Pic is 1 month post groom). Definitely come here for outstanding talent and service!

I’m so pleased!! My dog has had problems switching from his original groomer he had from birth. They worked with him so well even though he was a little difficult and gave him the cutest cut it was exactly what I wanted. This is the best my little Charlie has ever looked!!

Professional, friendly, flexible with scheduling, and they do a great job! Kelly took my dog without an appointment after learning that our previous groomer had not been plucking her ears. Most importantly, they discovered she had an ear infection so we could get her treated right away. Highly recommend!

We had an amazing experience at smooches for pooches! We always do! This is Gigi (aka Giadorable) I absolutely love going here. The groomers are incredibly kind and always give me some much needed social time. When I’m picked up, I’m always wagging my tail and I am so happy! We are already looking forward to our next grooming appointment. Thank you for taking such great care of Gigi!🐶🐾❤️

My golden has been going to Smooches since she was about 3 months old. She now is 6. She also does the daycare when she gets groomed. She always comes home looking great and feeling happy from her play time. The staff is great and the place is clean. I highly recommend!

Despite spending a lot of time explaining how we wanted our dog groomed, he ended up being trimmed way too short and choppy. When I expressed concern upon picking him up they said he had a lot of mats that required them to do this - he had mats behind his ears and rear end, a few in his tail - and previous grooming elsewhere in worse shape did not require this kind of a groom. I am most dissatisfied with the way they responded to my concerns. Paying $100 for a groom I would expect to be happy about it or be offered a free or severely discounted groom next time to make it right, offering to shape it up doesn’t help when he is already cut too short. I usually post negative reviews but I tried talking directly to the owner about our concerns and was not happy with her reaction. I have had my dog groomed in several different states and have never been dissatisfied with a groom!Major cons: cost, quality, customer servicePros: they call and get vaccine records from your vet so you don’t have to, facility seemed decently cleanSee choppy chest area and super short ears below.

My dog and I LOVE smooches!!! Everyone there is so friendly, knowledgeable and professional! They always run on time and I love getting the confirmation text messages. My dog Eli had bad anxiety (from a pervious grooming experience) when coming to smooches and Kelly and her team helped to make it a non stressful (and now an enjoyable) experience for him. Look no further smooches is the best and I wouldn’t trust anyone else with my pup!!!

My dog loves it here! Not only does Kelly do a great job keeping my dog clean and his nails the right length but she always gives him compliments and sometimes he’s allowed to play with her dogs when they join her for the workday (pug bonding.) The staff communicates well with their human clients and clearly takes good care of their doggy clients. I highly recommend Smooches for Pooches as a groomer or a daycare.

My Newfoundland had an appointment at this groomer. I was on time. My Newfies assigned groomer was nice and listened to all my concerns. I usually wash and groom my own Newfoundland but due to an injury at work I am unable to stand that long to properly groom her. Approximately 20 mins after dropping my fur baby off I got a call from the assigned groomer stating that my Newfie was being uncooperative. The assigned groomer told me she let my Newfie outside to calm down but when the groomer let my Newfie back inside, my Newfie sat near the back door and would not move. I went straight back to this groomer and I spoke to a heavy set blond women with glasses, she tossed my Newfoundlands leash at me. I stated that a groomer needs to try to make a report with the dog so the dog will do what the groomer wants them to do, like get on the grooming table or in the tub/table for a wash. This women had a snide remark saying maybe if you maintained your dog more then she would know how to act. This comment was uncalled for and terribly rude. I told this employee that I would be getting in touch with the owner, she huffed and rolled her eyes, then stated no she wont to a fellow employee. As I walked out with my Newfoundland she said something else under her breath and I did not catch it. My assigned groomer was nice, professional and seemed very sorry about the inconvenience of not being able to groom my Newfoundland. (Even if she truly didnt feel sorry) The other blond heavy set women with glasses was very rude, snide and condescending. I know that grooming my Newfoundland is a huge job and I was prepared to pay for it and tip properly for the service. I provided my phone number in the email so the owner could contact me. She opted for email. Its easier to shrug a customer off by email then pulling up your big girl underwear and admit you made a mistake and hired the wrong groomer. My Newfoundland and myself were snubbed at this grooming salon. My emails with the owner were not reassuring. Im assuming this terribly rude and condescending workers is some sort of relative to the owner. I know many business owners and they would never tolerate this behavior at their business, even from a relative. I can only say I would never recommend this grooming salon to anyone. There are many other grooming salons with much nicer people that are far less condescending and rude.

I have gotten my 4 year old Bichon-Yorki mix groomed here since she was a puppy and I’ve never had a bad experience!! All of the staff is so kind and helpful and the owner is even more amazing! She helps guide me with her style and treats my dog with such kindness and respect! I also have brought 2 of my older dogs and they were both groomed so well too! My one dog had a few health problems and she was treated so delicately, they really go the extra mile! I will never take my dogs anywhere else! ❤️

Best groomer by far!! We have been bringing our dogs to Kelly since she opened her 1st salon. I highly recommend Smooches for all your dogs grooming needs.

My 4 month old puppy goes to Smooches for Pooches twice a week for daycare. Every morning she is so excited to see the staff & always falls asleep on the car ride home! The girls are very open and honest about my pups behavior throughout the day.Smooches also offers multi day discounts for daycare & has a full service grooming salon!

Smooches For Pooches has been my go to place in Williamsville since I brought my dog there for the first time. They are great at accommodating schedules, services and needs, and have competitive pricing. The staff, specifically the owner, always goes out of there way to ensure your dogs or other animals are safe in the workshop, and treat them well while getting the job done efficiently.

Ive been going to Smooches for Pooches since I rescued my sheltie 5 years ago, and now bring my second rescue there. Kelly and her employees are nothing but professional and EDUCATED. Its tough to drop your babies off to a random place to be bathed and cut, especially when you have 2 rescues who had a hard previous life. They not only groom to perfection, but will be honest about what your dogs need done; maintenance, shampoo, conditioner for dry skin ectYou can drop your dog off knowing they will be safe and well treated. And thats what matters most to me.

This posting is for my mom. She brings her dog Gidget to see Valerie. She loves the environment, and friendliness of everyone there. Gidget enjoys going to see her friend Valerie. There’s never a concern about Gidget’s well being.

My little maltipoo is well taken care of. He loves to go to doggie daycare and play even when he doesnt have an apptmt.

They always do a great job with my puppy. She looks and smells great. They are kind and prices are very reasonable.

The staff are very competent regarding care and availability of various services for your pet.Parking is convenient and free. Location is on a Main Street and is accessible from neighboring towns in 10 minutes. Plan your drop off and pick up precisely or you may be required to pay a late pick up surcharge.Best to arrive at agreed upon time.🐶You could try discounting your fees should they cause you wait beyond the pickup time agreement.

My mom called the owner this morning to tell her we might be late to the appointment. They get there and they tell my mom that they won’t take our puppy because they were late even though the owner knew that they were gonna be late...we are never going here again this is the 3rd time this has happened with all three of our dogs! It’s ridiculous! My mom and sister were 1 minute late and they won’t take our puppy? That’s outrageous...I recommend not going here because of that kind of service!As I knew i was going to be late i called . was told by an employee that it was FINE. upon arrival i was told No . i had just called. they could of told me at that point to not bother . but wasted my time again.

We took our new puppy Buddy to get his first hair cut here. They did a great job. Highly recommend them.

Always love the cut my Aussie receives. They are open to requests and my Lucy is always happy when we pick her up. Its comforting to be able to trust a groomer!

We bring our maltipoo in for grooming every 6-8 weeks. We’ve never had an issue with the groom or customer and our pup enjoys going.

I give this one star because we brought our dog over and we called that we would be late and when we came they wouldn’t take her we will never come back again and we are very disappointed in the service here . The girl that was going to take our dog to groom her was very disrespectful and had a bad attitude. We will never come back again.

I take charmer for daycare twice a week and they are always happy to see him and he always comes home a happy tired puppy

I am very upset on how the owner talked to us when we took our puppy for his first grooming. First of all he is a puppy and they I am sure have had puppies that were scared and not co-operative at first. It is their job if they are experienced enough to handle situations where the puppies are scared. They should be experienced enough to handle them, not speaking down to us in a unprofessional nasty tone. I will never recommend their services to anyone and I found a much nicer professional groomer who had no problem handling my puppy. Maybe this owner should look for a different profession and learn to to speak to people in a nicer tone, not look down on them. Carla took my call to cancel his next appointment. My dog loved this place, until she got hurt and the business denied that anything happened at there facility. I truly just wanted answers and wasn’t even mad about the situation. I didn’t bring her back for a couple weeks so she could heal. Once i wanted to come back every time i called i was told day care was “full” months in advance and actually was hung up on by one of the employees. Also former employee had told me that “the company did not have insurance” (not sure if that is true) but still very concerning. Very unprofessional. I would not recommend going to this establishment.

Took my dog there for grooming.. two days later we have a $200 vet bill due to razor burns.. the dog has never been more miserable...I understand that business will blame it on the matted hair and for that I want to say that other groomers out there know how to deal with matted hair without hurting the dog...
