So Grateful for Tazito’s and everyone there! Our boy Draco absolutely LOVES it here, idk what their secret is but as soon as he realizes where we are he runs out the car and bolts up their stairs! Their schedule is so convenient, they are always reliable, and we’ve used them for boarding too! It’s like having a family member that you trust to watch your pup! We get pictures of our boy playing outside with his friends and it just makes us so happy to see how much fun he’s having. I recommend Tazito’s to everyone I meet with a dog! We love them!

Tazito’s is a godsend! I know this starts off like my last review almost 2 years ago, but hear me out: So? It’s the truth. Ruthie and Luke are incredible, loving people who treat my dog Monkey like family. I’m never worried when I leave Monkey with them, and they even send updates and photos of my princess having a wonderful time. These updates soothe my anxious soul, as any extended time away from my pup tears my heart in two. Thank you Tazito’s Dog Daycare and Boarding. Oh, and with the introduction of their app (available in the App Store and Google Play Store) making a reservation and updating your pup’s records is quick and easy. Check them out and download the app!

My 5 dogs spent two days and nights at Tazitos and couldn’t be more pleased. They were happy and excited to be picked up, which tells me they had a great time. Owner runs the business out of their house and provided daily photos of my pups adventures. I felt good knowing they were happy and being well cared for. Located in a residential area of town. Good communication, good rates.

We’ve been bringing our dog Lula for about a month now for daycare and she absolutely loves it! I work from home and Lula is a little ball of energy and I wanted her to have a place to hang out and run around as a dog should. My husband and I also work late and we couldn’t find anywhere that was open past 6 pm. Tazito’s checked all of our boxes and more!! Ruth and Luke are amazing with Lula and they are so kind and flexible. They also send us pic updates that we love getting while at work. Lula is tired and happy every time she comes home from daycare and we couldn’t be happier. If you’re looking for a place to send your fur baby then this is it!

My pup Bernstein is a ball of energy that needs lots of socializing. Weve been taking him to Ruth, Luke and family for the past 9 months for daycare and boarding. They are extremely flexible and send pics and videos. Would highly recommend!

I want to say how wonderful it has been to have a doggy daycare that loves my rose as much as I do. I have always felt safe while my dog has been under their care. Rose would try to get into my car on my days off saying Ok I went potty, so now take me to daycare to play with my friends. Rose also found her a boyfriend. I travel for work and have left buffalo and now I’m in Boston. I really miss the trust I had in Tazito’s. I can only hope I find someone equally as great as Tazito’s was to my rose. Oh gage I’m sorry I moved rose away from you. Know that you will always have a special place in roses heart. So if you need a great trustworthy place for your dog to play, meet other dogs, possibly fall in love and love you dearly for giving them an amazing day every time you drop them off Tazito’s is your place. Wonderful experience in general, very responsive to text questions. The website/app is a great feature but needs a bit more work. Lastly, a live cam would be an awesome feature to check on your pet, but not a deal break because pics were sent quickly to me when I asked about my dog via text. Would definitely use their services again

During our time in Buffalo, our Shepherd/Pyrenees mix Ellie went to daycare and was boarded at Tazito’s more times than we can count. From the meet-and-greet with Ruth and Goliath, to the numerous drop-offs with Luke - the care Tazito’s provided for Ellie was phenomenal. They were always understanding when we needed last minute daycare/boarding/or schedule changed. Such flexibility and ease of communication are only a small part of why we loved utilizing their services. The business is in a house - so I loved knowing Ellie was around her peers in a cozy and safe space. Pictures and updates were always sent throughout any of her stays. If we ever find ourselves in Buffalo and need their services again we will surely do so! You won’t be disappointed. Thank you so much, Tazito’s!

Tazito’s treated my Ellie like family. She was always eager to stay there. Ruth and Luke took great care of her and provided great updates and photos of her multiple stays. The new app also makes it convenient to schedule boarding.

Our dog loves staying with them, we leave him for day care and also left him for long vacation as well. I was super worried because our dog is a fussy eater and is an old dog but after I saw the posts and videos of his overnight stay I was so relieved. He genuinely looked happy.He got the company of other dogs. Highly recommend them for dogs day care. Very loving family for your fur friend.

Definitely so thankful for these guys on a last minute trip and needing to board my baby for 2 weeks. Very reasonable pricing, very attentive, easy to contact! Ruth sent me almost daily pictures and texts with my baby to keep me updated and she came back to me happier than ever. So thankful for these guys! Definitely choose them for your next pupper stay!

Ruth and Luke are not only exceptionally kind people but they also really care about the dogs they look after. We’ve been bringing our two pups here since we arrived from California in July. We really appreciate how thorough Ruth and Luke were in their assessment, patient and thoughtful in introducing our dogs to the rest of the group and making sure that they are having a fun time.Our oldest is a hyper 5-year old cannonball of a dog and he loves his trips to Tazito’s. Both of them sprint to the door when they dropped off in the morning which is the best possible sign.Highly recommend

Our dog LOVES going here to see his buddies. Ruth and her husband take great care of the animals that go here. They have a big backyard for them run around in, they take and send pics of the dogs playing and they even send fun holiday themed picture too! Their app is super easy to use/book a day or overnight boarding. Highly, highly recommend this dog daycare!

Tazitos is the best! We have a beagle/Chihuahua mix who is very particular about things sometimes, so we were nervous looking for a daycare. From the moment he met Ruth, we knew theyd be a perfect fit. Ruth and her husband are so good with him and his needs. They are incredibly flexible, making it super convenient for us to leave him late or over the weekends if we needed. It was a great relief to know he was safe and happy with them!

Tazitos is the best doggy daycare that I have had the pleasure of sending my dog Junior to when we leave town. He is very well taken care of and hes not in an enclosure all day like some of the other doggy daycare centers that we have used. Even Junior gets super excited when we even pull up into the street because he knows where he is going. There is plenty of space for him to run and the owners are the best! We love Tazitos Dog Daycare and Boarding, Junior loves and and you will too!

Ruth has been AMAZING! My two dogs are my kids and its really hard to trust someone to watch them. But from the first time we met Ruth, I knew theyd be safe and loved. And they have been! I can travel now without having to worry. And the photo updates she sends are even better ❤️ Her flexibility in hours and caring for exactly what they need is incredible. This is definitely NOT a one-size-fits-all business. So happy I found Tazitos!

Ruth and Luke have been caring for my dog Penny since October 2022. Penny is a rescue and anxious in new situations. Ruth and Luke take excellent care of her and she has gained so much confidence. Penny always comes home happy and tired. Communication is excellent and I love that they send photo updates. Hours are flexible and cost is reasonable. Thank you so much!

This place is awesome. I was looking for a daycare to bring my new puppy to this summer and Ruth was very flexible. This place has great hours and you know that your dog is in good hands. Ruth sends pictures throughout the day to update you. I would highly recommend Tazitos. Maverick looks forward to daycare every week because he gets to play with his friends.

Our whole experience with Ruth was amazing!! This was our first time leaving our 4 month old pup at any kind of daycare, or any other place other than with family and she was so welcoming, professional, transparent about how the daycare works, what to expect throughout the day, she even sent us videos, pictures and kept us updated on how our pup was doing throughout his stay. I would highly recommend this daycare to anyone! The price is very reasonable and our pup came home as if he had the funnest time of his life!! 🐶 We definitely will be bringing our pup back again and again and again!!!! 🐾

I was looking for a doggy daycare for the day, I was visiting and had plans to go to Niagara Falls for the day. I didn’t want to leave my 7 month old Frenchie alone at the airbnb. They welcomed her like she was one of their own, great price, reasonable hours, they also updated me with how she was doing and sent me a picture of her. They are great and amazing! I highly recommend them.

As someone who is a bit hesitant to leave my 8 month golden retriever Louie with anyone Ruth made me feel comfortable from the moment I met her...same with her husband. Louie absolutely loves going to the doggy daycare and always comes home exhausted and happy! I am lucky to have them just a block away from me but would recommend them to anyone who is looking for a dog sitter/doggy daycare! I havent had Louie spend the night yet but would be completely comfortable doing so and plan to in the future! Theres a comfortability and cozy nature having it at their home that you just dont get with other doggy daycare businesses!

Ruth was absolutely amazing! It was my first time leaving my dog with someone other than a family member to watch him and she put all my worries to rest. I was gone for the weekend and she sent me videos/ pictures everyday multiple times throughout to update me and let me know how he was doing. Great pricing too, Kobe loved his stay and we will definitely be bringing him back soon. Highly recommend! You won’t regret it

HORRIBLE!!!!!!!!!! There is Ruth and a Man that takes care of the dogs and they are abusive! I watched the Man hit and yell at one of the dogs in the front yard as we were coming back to pick up my dog.

Ruth was incredible!!! Best dog care ever! super sweet, loving and caring my pup had a blast we are from out of state and are so grateful for Ruth and her family. She kept us updated throughout the day with pictures and videos. Very convenient and professional made our pup feel at home her doggies were very playful and got along very well with our Charlie. We will definitely be taking him here every time we are in town. ❤️Thank you!!!!!

My yorkie Phoebe had daycare at Tazito’s for the first time today and I am blown away with everything! My first observation was how both Ruth and Luke carried my child like a human baby and I was sold 🤣. They sent pics of Phoebe outside playing in the rain and mud and I noticed they returned her back to me so nice and clean. Tazito’s is open until 9pm and has an app that you can schedule your daycare/boarding visits which is super convenient for busy people like me. Customer service was exceptional from the initial point of contact and they always made themselves available for questions. I am absolutely so happy I found them! Thank you so much Ruth and Luke!! 💕

If I could give more stars I would.. Tazitos is such a great doggy day care that it is the place Ill miss the most when leaving Buffalo. They couldnt be more flexible, efficient, and friendlier than they are now. You cant possibly beat their rate and their hours. Their location is right in the middle of my neighborhood making the drop off walkable. Im sad to know that Ill never find a place as good as this. ALSO.. My dog has always suffered high anxiety since Ive gotten him. He would destroy things when I left even if my roommate was home. Ever since the very first day at Tazitos, its like a switch was flipped. He went in panting and nervous and came out calm and cool. Tazitos has been so great yo us. Please choose them when deciding on doggy day care. All you need to do is text them to get started.

Im so happy I found Tazitos! Ruth is so warm and welcoming. Tulip loves going there - she has made many new friends and comes home happy and tired. I love that the dogs play and nap together. Ruth sends pictures or videos throughout the day to keep me updated on how Tulip is doing. The hours are very accommodating. Tazitos is also close to my work on the west side of Buffalo which is an added bonus! Highly recommended!!!

My 16 year old senior pup was very well cared for during his weekend stay with Ruth and Luke. As a senior dog, he has some special needs and I was very anxious about leaving my pup but Ruth and Luke were amazing caregivers and I was at ease even after my pup had an uncharacteristic pee accident during his stay. Ruth explained the situation and even recommended what the issue may have stemmed from. They were very accommodating and in constant contact and were understanding when my pick-up time got pushed back due to a travel delay. I will absolutely have them watch my beloved pup in the future.

Ruth took great care of our pup while we were out exploring Niagara Falls. She sent us updates and cute pictures throughout the day which allowed us to have a great time since we didn’t have to worry about our dog. 10/10 would recommend.

Ruth, Luke & the ever kind, polite & happy Jonah, and the entire family treating my dog like their own. He gets excited & starts jumping in the window as we pull up to the house! Couldn’t feel more assured & at peace leaving my fur baby with them. They are reliable, caring, and responsible. We have come to love them like our own family. They have always been so accommodating with my crazy schedule waking up for us at 5:30 in the morning!

I only had to bring my puppy there for a short amount of time. They had him potty trained by the age of 3-4months! We brought our fur baby there a couple days before Christmas and they went out of their way to get him a little goodie bag and picture; despite being a brand new guest!When I got a new job and didn’t really need doggy daycare anymore, they texted to check on my dog.Very personable, super sweet, my baby loved going there! Highly recommend!

I was so nervous to board our dog Riley because she can be a handful, but my anxiety left as soon as we Ruth and her husband! They really care for the dogs and treat them like their own. Im so grateful we found Tazitos and would trust Riley in their care whenever. The bonus is that Riley loves going there!!

Ruth was amazing to communicate with, she sent the perfect amount of updates and pictures so that I got to see how my (extremely high energy) pup was doing! She even took him the same day requested over night for the weekend without hesitation! Whenever I drop my dog off, he sprints through her door and doesnt turn around to say bye... needless to say both my dog and I give Tazitos 5+ stars!

I usually ask family to go keep an eye on my dogs when I have to go out of town, but this time I left them in Ruths care. She updated me on how they we doing, and sent me pictures and videos, which help me stop worrying. When I picked them up, they were happy to see me, but they were relaxed and not as anxious as when they stayed home with occasional check ins, feedings, and walks. Tazitos will always be their home away from home from now on.

We had a great experience with Tazito’s. We were in Buffalo just for the day and didn’t have a plan for what to with our puppy while we went up to Niagara Falls for a few hours. We were able to drop her off quickly and get on our way. The owner sent us a few pictures of her while we were out. When we returned a few hours later, our puppy seemed like she had a great time. We got great service for a very reasonable price. I will go back to Tazito’s if I’m ever in Buffalo again.

Ruth is Amazing! I am new to Buffalo and needed a place to board my babies for the weekend of July 4th. Not only was she super responsive, but she took incredible care of my pups. I have a Rottweiler and people can be judgmental with him, but she was super caring and loving to my fur babies. I will be going back regularly! Thank you Ruth!

Rose is fantastic with my dog. I always feel comfortable leaving my pup here while I am at work and Rose is willing to accommodate my very long hospital hours and flexible with pick up/drop off times. She takes the dogs outside frequently (under supervision) and sends frequent updates and pictures. Her prices are reasonable and her schedule is flexible. I would highly recommend for anyone looking for care for their dog!

We have been using Tazito’s to board our pup for the past year and couldn’t be happier! Tazito’s offers flexible pickup and drop off. There’s been a few times we had to change plans last minute and Tazito’s makes every effort to be accommodating. You know how sometimes you feel a little remorseful or nervous when dropping your pet off? We’ve never had that feeling here. Our pup starts getting excited as soon as we turn down 14th street and runs right up the stairs to be dropped off! She genuinely gets excited to be boarded which makes dropping her off easy. Tazito’s provides updates and pictures of our pup almost every day, which we greatly appreciate. Their prices are affordable and we enjoy supporting a local business. I love taking my dog, Dolly here! When I drop Dolly off, I feel confident that she is well taken care of, and she seems to enjoy her time at daycare. Ruth always sends pictures of Dolly playing with the other dogs during the day. She does a great job keeping me updated, which is great for peace of mind. Highly recommend!

Ever since getting my rescue pup, Weslynn she has gone to Tazitos. I was a bit nervous at first because she was so young and I never had left her at a daycare. Upon pickup she was happy and I could tell she was comfortable at Tazitos! Weslynn has never gone anywhere else and she probably never will! Now 6 months later Weslynn jumps up and down in excitement upon her arrival at daycare and pounds at the door to be let it. She doesnt even notice Im gone! I couldnt recommend Tazitos enough, theres no better place for your pup!

Ruth took great care of my dog! She was very responsive and communicated throughout the day, sending me pictures of how Willow was doing. Willow seemed very happy and came home exhausted after playing with other dogs. Ruth was very caring and I would have her watch Willow again anytime!

Ruthie and Luke are my go to doggie boarding….I’ve been using them for years, at least weekly, and often for several days if Im traveling. My puggle Zeus sprints up the stairs when I get there, always looking forward to being there. They even let him sleep with them, which is how we do it at home. He get lots of snuggles, playful social time with humans and doggies, is well cared for, and they even administer his meds when needed with no problem!I am always quickly updated when I text or call, and also get regular photos sent to me throughout his stay tomake me smile! Even their son Jona welcomes and plays with Zeus!They are reliable, communicate very well, and most importantly LOVE DOGS!I cannot recommend Tazito’s Daycare any more highly, you will be so happy to have found them…I am!

A very professionally run daycare and boarding facility. Our dog loved his time there and we could be stress free throughout our travel. During day boarding as well our pup returns happy and healthy from their facility. Highly, highly recommend this place For loving care for your pups when you are not around

Our dog spent a few days at Tazitos and he came home normal! Not hoarse from barking or nervous and jittery, just himself with no issues. I think this place is much better than the big institutionalized kennels if your boarding your dog. It’s more of a home environment. Great place!

Absolutely loved them! they took such great care of my dog who isn’t super fond of other dogs and made her feel so special having one on one time! I got daily pictures and updates and it made leaving her much easier. Would highly recommend and look forward to using them again!!

We can always count on Tazitos to take great care of our sweet beagle Mocha. The friendly members of the Tazitos family are responsive via text, willing to send pictures and provide prompt and thorough updates while were away, and go above and beyond to make sure that the pets under their care are properly supported. During a recent stay, Mocha was experiencing some homesickness and tore up part of the bed we had left with her. Tazitos was right there to comfort Mocha and provide her with a new bed. On another day, we were experiencing car issues and were unable to pick up Mocha as we had originally planned. Without prompting, Tazitos offered to come help jump-start our car and drop Mocha off at home with us. My wife and I would recommend Tazitos highly to anyone - as would Mocha!

Our dog is a member of our family, we want him to be as comfortable as we are at all times. This includes vacations. When we send Max to stay at Tazitos we know he will be comfortable because he believes he is also a member of his dog daycare family. They treat him so well that I become jealous! He gets to play in a huge yard. He gets to look out a big window at cats, sleep on the furniture and spend nights catching some quality TV and petting time with the family!Our dog has been happy going there for daycare and boarding for 4 years and counting. Never an incident.When Max is at Tazitos we know he is happy and comfortable.. we miss him but we dont feel bad for him. We feel good about doing the right thing by our dog!

Had a last minute need to board my dog Alf while on a recent trip to Buffalo. Ruth graciously took Alf in for the weekend with pretty short notice. I received a couple of updates via text and he seemed relaxed which helped me relax! I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Tazitos for dog care! Thanks Ruth!

Isla has been going to Tazito’s since she was a few months old. Ruth is amazing with her. Isla loves all of her Tazito friends. It’s great socialization for her in a comfortable atmosphere you won’t find at typical boarding style daycares. Ruth is very accommodating for us and I appreciate her and all that she does immensely! Highly recommend, you won’t find another place like it.

My dogs regular veterinarian was unable to keep him and we’ve never trusted anyone else to keep Blue. Through a referral we chose Tazito’s. The daily pictures were comforting and when picked him up he was happy!!! We will use their services again!!!

I loved being able to leave my doggo at Tazitos--he had the time of his life, and I got frequent photo updates! When my flight was delayed and we needed an extra night, it was no problem.

I’m sorry, I have to even write this, all my dog years never felt that someone was not going to return my dog, it’s a shame that this business must have had prior customer not pay them to come to this, I was so happy to find someone that actually host animals in there house. It was my first experience with them and they did not offer any assistance with there website .I gave 20 minutes heads up I was on my way to pick up my dog, nobody said hey your credit card did not go through, I text them when I arrived to the house,a gentleman came out with my dog and her stuff then alls he said I need payment, turn around went back in the house,so I tried to call no answer, so I texted him and said if there a problem I’ll just pay cash,so he came back out with my dog, make sure the website credit card system workes before you drop the pet off, I have no ideal how the stay was, It was only one night,I didn’t get any feedback about the stay how she liked it or not ,what a non deserving learning experience,

We were super nervous pet parents, but she sent us photos and videos of our baby taking a nap and walk outside and it put our nerves at ease. It allowed us to enjoy our day trip to Niagra Falls. Ruth and Tazito’s Dog Daycare have been a fantastic resource for us having just moved to Buffalo. Ruth is extremely flexible, easy to work with, so caring to our pup, and very experienced. She sends daily pictures for us when we board so we don’t miss our dog too much! She has also been able to accommodate us boarding on short notice and on busy holidays which we appreciate immensely with our sometimes unpredictable schedules. I’m a nurse who works 7pm-8am and had to find an overnight dog care for my mixed terrier last minute because my family was going out of town for a funeral…and Ruth (and Luke) was my first call after reading all the great reviews!! i was able to quickly send confirmation of all his up to date vaccines and the next day when i dropped him off … he immediately took to ruth and ran straight upstairs to the fun… and my dog does have some separation anxiety issues but he must have felt safe and happy.. i am now a regular client and my ceazer gets sooo happy and excited anytime we get close to her house. thanks so much Ruth and Luke. it’s such a relief to know he’s in good hands..also btw pricing is affordable and scheduling has been very flexible.

We have boarded our dog, Ligeti, at Tazito’s a few times now and it’s always great. My favorite part is that Ruth sends us at least one photo or video every day while we’re gone! Ligeti loves playing with other dogs, so it’s a great time for her!

My pup has been attending Tazito’s 2-4 days a week for nearly a year now, starting at just a few months old. I can’t say enough positive things. To highlight a few: the hours are extremely accommodating to my schedule with drop off as early as 6 am (Ruth is also even more flexible if needed). The dogs are cared for in a family home with a huge fenced in yard. They are allowed on furniture and treated like family members. It’s like a second home with a ton of friends to play with all day. My dog runs up the steps every morning. Ruth always sends updates, is super easy to get in touch with via text and extremely reliable, even accommodating last minute and overnight weekend stays. If you are in the city particularly the Elmwood village, west side or medical campus area, I highly recommend Ruth and Tazito’s Daycare for your dog.
