Bought my boy Creed off Mike almost a year ago. Temperament,drive,intelligence,all there. Great with my kids(11 and 7). He is exactly what Mike said he would be. Muscle genetics are there and he is a very confident dog.Very good with ppl. Mike is very good at answering any questions. Even now after a year he gets back to me with answers to anything I ask him. After contacting 3 other Kennels before reaching out to Mike found that everything on this website is correct and true (watch out for scammers, you get what you pay for). Spent hours with Mike, his Wife, Kids, including all of the Pups, Dames, and Studs that are out in the open for any potential buyers to interact with. Mike and his Wife answered my plethora of questions and concerns. Its been three weeks since I purchased Chavoc and still ask questions in wich Mike always replies. Honest, truthful, well below market value for the Gallows quality and excellent litters. 2/28/23 Today this DEVIL is 12 months old. We purchased our first bully from devils den. Normally I don’t write reviews but the experience with devils den was so amazing and easy. He informed us everything we needed to know about the breed. We have small children and the dogs are just great with them. We will definitely purchase another puppy from devils den.

If you are looking for an American Pit Bull Terrier or American Bully, look no further than Devil’s Den. They are simply the very best in the business. Mike took the time to explain the differences in his dogs and to listen to what we were looking for in a family pet. As a previous owner of 3 pit bulls I had very high expectations, and Devil’s Den has exceeded them all. Our puppy’s temperament is amazing, and we know he will grow up to be a loving, loyal, protective, family companion.

We have 2 dogs from devils den that are amazing animals! They have awesome temperament and beautiful structure! I can say enough good words about this kennel and also working with mike he’s a great guy! Would never get my dogs anywhere else!!!!

We purchased a supposed pedigree  puppy from this breeder that was claimed to be reputable, and was supposed to come with registration papers and pedigree.After 4 months of patiently waiting while the breeder stalled repeated attempts by us to obtain the papers from him, we called him out on it, at which point the communication turned sour.It is very disappointing as he seemed trustworthy and was responsive to messages and questions prior to purchase. I thought I had done my due diligence with research and asking the right questions, so I want others to be aware. You can purchase a puppy without papers, or adopt from rescue, for less than a 1/4 of what youd pay at this kennel, and without those papers, the dog isnt worth what they are charging.It should also be noted that the seller does not health test the parents prior to breeding and stated that only the original dogs in the breeding program were health tested 15 years ago.**EDITED TO ADD REPLY**We were told the mother was registered as an APBT with one of the kennel clubs and that the puppy would have pedigree papers.I realized afterwards that she is a Classic American Bully. He NEVER stated the pup was a mixed breed. He stated it was an APBT. I didnt have full knowledge of what was required to be a pedigree dog at the time of purchase, and I trusted Devils Dens word. I asked dozens of questions, and to state that I didnt ask anything is egregiously untrue.$3000 USD for a mixed breed, non-registered puppy is unheard of. (It cost us over $4000 CAD, plus about $1000 for travel and shelter as we travelled internationally.)**The point was we were promised pedigree papers, and as such, the puppy was represented as a pedigree puppy.**Further to this, I checked the kennel clubs for breeder registrations and was never able to find Devils Den as a registered breeder. This would indicate that none of their dogs are registered.**If Devils Den is a registered breeder, they could successfully refute this speculation by posting their breeder registration number publicly, as all reputable breeders do.**As far as health testing, every reputable breeder and veterinarian will tell you that every dog intended for breeding will need to undergo health testing, despite the previous dogs in the lineage having clear health tests. It appears that Devils Den doesnt understand genetics. They line breed and inbreed their dogs, sometimes done in pedigree breeding and in itself isnt an exclusion of reputable breeding, but is a huge risk for health issues. All dogs, regardless of type of breeding, need health testing prior to being used for breeding.Temperament is also important in breeding, and dogs considered for breeding should be socially conditioned with a sound temperament. I learned afterward that both parents had reactive temperaments, and Devils Den mentioned that he thinks the mother would bite delivery drivers if she could and that the parents were dog aggressive.In failing to health and temperament test, Devils Den is not a reputable nor ethical breeder.Update: I wanted to add that while we were there, we noticed the family was treating the puppies poorly and a family member tossed a puppy who fell on his face. They were kept in an outdoor kennel outside. He separates puppies from mother at 6 weeks which prevents mom from teaching bite inhibition and acceptable behavior and contributes to serious behavioral issues. He antagonizes newborn pups by banging on the bins he keeps them in and whatever welping box he uses. It would appear he is intentionally creating dogs with behavioral issues.While I love my pup, she is very reactive and has become dog aggressive. Weve spent thousands on behavioral modification, counter conditioning and desensitization. If you have dogs already or plan to own more than one dog, this would be another reason to avoid Devils Den. Theyre nothing more than backyard breeders with a fancy setup. I wont be so bold as to say they are breeding fighting dogs but all the ingredients for the recipe are there.

My boyfriend and I got our dog Kano from him and he is the best! We were looking for a puppy for a couple years and then found DevilsDen, any dog we own in the future will definitely be from him. Best encounter I have had with a breeder, he has always been up front and always there for us if we ever had any questions about anything or if we needed anything, hes always more than willing to help us. We have actually became very good friends since first talking to him a couple years ago.

This is the best place to go and get your puppies. Whether you want Pitbull or bully puppies this is where it’s at. My buddy takes amazing care of all the puppies and all the dogs. He’s well informed so any questions you have for him, he will answer. Thank you my brother will visit and buy again.

Our girl Reign was the best addition to our family. We called Mike multiple times and asked many questions about the pup, the best types of dog food and he is always there to answer questions. After months of searching and almost getting scammed, I discovered Devilsden a legit kennel 1 hour away from NYC. I contacted Mike Gallo who has decades of experience breeding American Bullies. He introduced me to his associate Tim Kaps who had recently had a litter, I was able to purchase my beautiful pup NoLo. I am very thankful and great full. Everything from questions and picture updates Tim was more than helpful to me, and most importantly professional through the entire process. He was very knowledgeable and patient with me.My Pup NoLo is now a year old. He is healthy and definitely has the proper temperament. I trust him with my grandkids nephew and nieces. His structure is correct and is definitely a quality pup. My pup is ABKC registered. I still speak and have contact with Tim Kaps, even now he answers my questions and shares his knowledge of the breed. I got a dog from them back in September 2019... it is February 2020 and I’m still waiting for the dog’s papers... I paid $2500, the guy offered a lot of things and nothing happened...Here in PA are not many places where you can get an American bully , but try to find an honest person who is not out there just to make money. Service and reputation is important.

I havent had the opportunity to get a dog from Devils Den. But they have been around for many moons. And it looks like they have a great set up now. A beautiful set up.The times I have spoken to them on message board days (MSN) they were knowledgeable and straight forward. And had some great dogs. My favorite I believe was Sampson. I learned about Razors edge blood from great breeders like them. I liked Greyline and went in that direction. However you cant go wrong with Devils Den.

Great dogs as a companion and or for work though when we speak about work I would like a bit more IPO, KNPV but their dogs are what you expect from a working dog ( stability and great companionship. Like a true pitbull should be as they where called nanny dogs as they used to stay home protecting and as a companion for the kids.Mike is a great guy to deal with. With a lot years of experience If you need to know just ask and he will be able to answer a lot of your questions, even if you would like to train your dog he also offer a lot of TRAINNING services, just ask Mike.

Dog sent husband twice to hospital and me once followed by surgery. Behavioralist told us to put him down. My older son wouldn’t hear of it and took him The dog will not leave his apartment has many issues. He is not a family dog.

I have zero complaints. Ive had my puppy now for 5 months and hes a healthy as can be, and a very good looking one at that.

This is no breeder, unethically inbreeds and sells dogs with genetic predispositions which the owner will find out years afterwards. If you paid for a dog from this place make sure you have extensive genetic testing and dna testing. Completely unethical and inhumane Adopt or rescue a pittie for FREE. They will probably be healthier

I am very disappointed and disheartened by my experience with Devil’s Den. We were so hopeful for a new addition to our family after we lost a senior dog a few months earlier. We went to visit Mike a few times to see his litter of puppies before ultimately bringing one home with us. He was kind and welcoming and was happy to show us his other dogs, except for the mother of the litter, which now looking back in hindsight was a problem. The puppy we got has a level of anxiety we have never seen in a dog before and we got her from Mike at 8 weeks. She’s never had any traumatic experiences with us. She is completely people aggressive and she cannot be left alone when others are in our home. We are now at the point where we have no other options but to put her in a very expensive board and train program with the hopes that she is rehabilitated. Mike is aware of the issue and has done nothing to help us, logistically or financially. This is my first experience with a breeder and I will not be doing this again, with him or anyone else. He breeds for demeanor but our dog is far from a friendly family dog. While she is great with us, anyone other than my husband and I is in danger when crossing the threshold of our home. We are both so upset with this whole process and now have 10+ years of dealing with a dog that cannot be trusted.

I met mike a few months ago. I initially went to take a look around the kennel , and ended up spending a few hours there talking to mike. He made me feel very welcome and broke everything from the beginning of the American Bully to where he is today . I didnt feel rushed at all, viewed the interaction his children have with all of the Bullies and i was amazed at what i saw in a very impressive way . Needless to say i ended up with a blue nose bully with blue eyes (Apollo and FLOTUS Baby). I have plans to buy a second from his next litter. I am totally in love with Athena, thank you Mike i appreciate everything that you have done for us, and your wealth of knowledge.

I paid him 2500 a year an a half ago hasn’t sent me my money back won’t respond to my calls or texts. He’s known for this that’s why no one uses his studs or why Breeder’s wont by dogs from him. Be careful sending him money he’s a next level scammer an he’ll take your money and won’t respond. I wouldn’t not recommend him at all the worst Breeder by far.
