First time here with my hyper golden puppy. They were super friendly and my pup was so clean and adorable with her bows and bandana. I was very happy.

First time using Amy’s Pet Palace and I can’t tell you how happy I was. My fur baby(dog)Daisy looked and smelled absolutely adorable. I don’t know who took care of her because my husband brought her but you did a great job. You’ll be seeing us again😊

Excellent experience bringing my new puppy for her first grooming session at Amy’s Pet Palace. The staff was wonderful & friendly and they treated my new pup with exceptional care. Highly recommend.

BEWARE!!! Will your dogs grooming come out great?.. yes!.. Will they also be abusing your dog while they do it....YES!!!.. I brought my dog to be groomed today and this is now the SECOND time I saw a groomer mishandling a pet. The first time I was so mad at myself for not saying anything, but this time I was furious...With my own eyes I saw this little white dog have both of his ears grabbed and his head pulled back so hard just so she can brush his face (blonde girl with short hair wish I knew her name).. I was livid beyond belief and said something to the two people at the front desk AND the groomer when I walked in.. all of which were basically ignoring me and then I come to find out that one of the people overhearing me was THE OWNER!!.. if that was my shop I would be apologizing and also ADDRESSING the issue right there and then with the worker that was mishandling.. I dont even care if the dog was being bad (which is what I was told could have been the case, but that dog definitely was not) I even called and text afterwards to speak to the owner in which the receptionist spoke to me very nicely, but the owner should have been on that phone and never called me back.. I guess I would be embarrassed too knowing that my workers are inadequate and I was to scared to do anything about it.. Its unfortunate because this place is very convenient and my dogs do come out clean and groomed when I take them.. but if they are being handled inappropriately in the process then NO THANK YOU.... I just hope other owners think twice... last time ill be going there....

Staff is amazing and super caring for our yorkie senior who is still full of energy. He smells and looks his best afterwards and I cannot thank you enough for how patient and delicate you are with our anxious boy. Brownie loves ya!

Teddys first time there. Jill took care of teddy and did a wonderful job on his haircut. We very highly recommend bringing your pet there . They were very professional n caring for Teddy.

I was in need of a good groomer and was referred to Amys Pet Palace by my friend who has been going there for years and loves it. I am so happy for the referral, Amy gave my fur baby a beautiful haircut. She came out happy with her tail wagging. I would definitely refer anyone who is looking for an excellent groomer to give Amys Pet Palace a try.

We took our nervous Australian Shepard mix here to get his first grooming and since he’s our first pet we didn’t know what to expect. They were very friendly and helpful and we received great results and Milo loved the experience!

I would give no stars if that were an option. Where do I start? First and foremost Amy is NOT the right person for this kind of job. I have had my dog get service here as well as friends and family members, and we’ve all noticed the SAME things. Amy is not very kind yet alone borderline ABUSIVE to certain dogs. She picks and chooses when to display kindness and when to let her true colors show. She also doesn’t work well with others as I’ve seen with my OWN EYES her display a bad attitude towards her team. Amy is very rude and frankly very unfriendly to people around her. Patrons BEWARE of this place I would never take my beloved dog here ever again!

I decided to go to Amys because it came highly recommended from a few other pet parents I know, and let me tell you, they did not disappoint.I brought my girl Sofie in for a pre-birthday pampering and they were amazing. From the minute someone came out to pick her up, to when I got her back. Great price for my 8lb cutie and the bows...not my personal taste but adorable. Im going to put them back on for her special day actually. I brought my teacup Yorkie here recently and I couldnt be happier with the results. He is barely recognizable. I have taken him all over the island for a cute haircut but no one ever got it quite right. Amys Pet Palace did a phenomenal job. My little guy is as cute as ever with his new haircut. They were quick for an appointment, very professional and the price was very reasonable.

Took my dog for a groom and bath this past week and i’m very satisfied. Staff went above and beyond with my baby boy. Very happy!

I took our poodle puppy to Amy’s by recommendation. I asked for a VERY specific cut on my pup who can be a little temperamental when she’s scared.Amy nailed it! She looked exactly like the photo I sent her. Everyone was so kind and gentle with our Penelope.I can’t recommend them enough! Thank you for exceptional service!

I’m the proud owner of two ckcs and they are like my own children; the comfort and well-being of my babies is top priority and Amy’s pet palace exceeded my expectations of what a grooming can and should be for all of our babies. The salon smelled amazing and my babies left the salon beautifully groomed smelling amazing and happy, Thankyou Amy’s pet palace for a wonderful experience as my pups had high anxiety going to groomers from their previous experience. I will be returning in a few months to have their trim for maintenance purposes. I found our forever groomer.

As a nervous, doting cat-mom, I dont trust many people with the care of my sweet Luna cat. However, @amyspetpalace has shown me once again why I remain a loyal patron when my little girl needs to get groomed. Before this bath, Ive taken her a few times for a sanitary shave and a nail clipping. And every time I went there, not only were the staff friendly, but they were also informative of what was done to set my mind at rest.This time I took Luna for the bath, and shave. And I requested they take some pictures of Luna. So thank you Amys Pet Palace for going above and beyond for your clients and their doting parents. She came out smelling and feeling amazing! And its been atleast 2 months and Luna is still fresh as ever. 💜🐈‍⬛🌙10/10 would highly recommend Amys Pet Palace in Annadale for all your pet grooming needs.I posted this on my IG a few months ago when they did this, and forgot to post here until now! They were great for my cat! Due to some health issues my vet recommended we shave her. This was my cats first time being groomed/shaved and she is very skittish--came through it like a pro thanks to Amys. They handled her calmly and gently, making it as stress-free as possible for my neurotic fur baby. 😂 I shall be returning!P. S. Fyi, if you want a cat shaved it has be one length, very short, in order to safely trim the cat. This is because skin is very stretch and thin and can be pinched/cut easily otherwise. Thanks Amys!

Bruno had an incredible experience at Amys Pet Palace! My golden retriever had his very first grooming session there, and I couldnt be happier. I recommend Jillian she is by far the best one there. Treats the animals like their her own. Amazing hair stylist. Cuts and shaves and bathes their hair perfectly as u wish.

We brought our 135 lb Great Pyrenees/Saint Bernard in for a complete overhaul. His fur was matted and no amount of brushing untangled it so we decided that we should let the professionals handle it. Well we brought him to Amys Pet Palace and 2 1/2 hours later he was a new boy. He looked so incredible and beautiful. Jill did such an excellent job and she did exactly as we asked. He is 7 years old but with his new haircut and wash, he looks like a puppy. We are so grateful to Jill and the entire staff. They were all so nice and courteous and I highly recommend this establishment. We will definitely bring our big boy back here to keep him looking his best!!

My grandmother and I have been a loyal customer for 10 years. We have had nothing but a wonderful experience every time. The staff is amazing, always making you feel comfortable leaving your furry friend in their hands. Bernadette is one of the most caring, loving, and compassionate groomers. She has taken care of multiple pets of ours, always making sure they are well taken care of. The shop is clean and well taken care of. It’s a great place to bring your furry loved ones. Very happy with my experience from beginning to end. The staff is very nice and accommodating.. I called a few places and they didn’t answer the phone or called back, so I was very happy when Amy’s Pet Palace picked up the phone right away, asked me a few questions and put him on their schedule at my own convenience.My miniature Australian Shepherd was nervous and didn’t want to go in right away, he is 4 years old and it was his first time getting a hair cut and oh boy I’m so happy he did, my family and I love the results, he looks great!! We took out 4.5 month old shih tzu for her first haircut. Our dog Poppy went right to Jill which was a big relief as we were nervous pet parents. Jill listened to the type of haircut we wanted for Poppy and we were so happy with her first puppy trim. The whole staff was very welcoming and we will definitely be back.

Elaine has been grooming my yorkie for a few yrs. I absolutely love her!My dog was going somewhere else for awhile before we came here. The old place would take hours and he would come home so upset. Pet Palace is relatively quick, great haircut, smells good and my dog is not in discomfort! I recommend this place for anyone who is need of a groomer! I recommend Elaine!!

I called Amys to get my dog groomed and they answered right away and were able to get him an appointment the next day. I dropped him off outside, completed paperwork and they called for me to pick him up when he was ready. Picked him up outside and was great with the drop off-pick up area. Area was labeled and signs were posted outside with clear instructions. Very professional and friendly and love his haircut - will recommend to others! Love that it is a neighborhood shop and that I am supporting a local Annadale business.

I’m extremely happy with Amy’s Pet Palace.I was sending my 6lb Shihtzu, Tallulah there just to have her nails trimmed. Well, Tallulah just went for her first haircut there and I couldn’t be more thrilled! Finally someone who cut her breed specific! She looks gorgeous and will be returning. I took my 5 month old shihpoo for her first grooming. Amys Pet Palace did a GREAT job. Gemma was not easy, but she looks better than i could have hoped. Very, very happy with the drop off and pick up service. Im so thankful to have a happy, well groomed puppy in time for Christmas.

They took such good care of my 2 cats and they looked great after. One of my cats is a little skittish and they handled her so well. Will definitely be bringing them back in a few months for another grooming.

We brought our 5 year old Yorkie -Poo to Amy a couple of days ago, and we are extremely satisfied. We had been going to one groomer since we got the dog, but we never knew what to expect since it was never the same cut twice. I’ve been admiring the way he looks since we picked him up. We took our pup to paws grooming for many years and recently we were unable to get an appointment with them and came here instead. It was my babys first time at Amys pet palace. They cut and groomed her fast. The cut was choppy and left my pup looking terrible. Her bow fell out in less than an hour and she is a top knot yorkie who wears a bow 24-7. I was not happy with the leave your pup at the door policy..a covid practice I supose. A yucky mildew smell came out as the door closed. Also they are a cash only business and fail to mention that until pick up. I pay taxes so should they!

So so impressed by Amys pet palace. I have spent a year+ looking for a groomer that can help my dog with separation anxiety issues and Amys pet palace satisfies those needs and does an absolute beautiful job with my pup. I come all the way from Brooklyn for this cut and it is 100% worth the commute and the toll!!!!

I brought my dog for a bath this morning, I explained that she is arthritic and it is hard for her to stand and move around for the grooming. I only wanted her to be kept as comfortable as possible, I do understand, she has to stand to get a bath and dried. When Lyndsey brought her out and told me that she did everything to make Sandy as comfortable as possible, I was so happy. Not only did Sandy look great, Lyndsey took the time and cared about her as well. Thank You for taking such good care of my precious Sandy. I highly recommend Amy’s, I have been going there for a few years and they are consistent and do a fine job.

I brought my two Yorkies to Amys pet palace and they came home looking beautiful. The salon is nice and clean and the staff is very friendly. I was also able to watch them groom the dogs. Plus I found out they have a pick up and delivery service that I will use next time. Im just so happy that I found Amys pet palace and I would recommend it for everybody.

Very disappointedBrought my 12 year old 4 pound blind yorkie in for hair cut that he needed. All she did was wash him. She could not handle him moving around. Shouldn’t be a groomer if you can’t handle the dog. Been going to Amy for 12 years with my two dogs. Annoyed had to pay 30 dollars for her to wash him when he was brought in for the hair cut he needed. For that I could have washed him at home.Had to bring him to bow wow for hair cut. They had no problems with him at all.

I am so happy that I have found Amy’s! Being new to Staten Island I was having a hard time finding a trustworthy groomer that I felt safe and comfortable with for my Charlie. I was recommended to come here by two of my closest friends who are also overprotective of their pops just as I am! LOL I have to tell you that I had such a wonderful experience and so did Charlie! From making the appointment to pick up everything was great! upon dropping her off I was greeted by the groomer ends she was wonderful with Charlie! I felt comfortable to give so many details and expectations. She did not think I was crazy so I appreciated that LOL Charlie was done in one hour! Upon picking Charlie up I can tell that Charlie also had a wonderful experience. She was not only happy and calm, but she looked and smelled great!! I was given a complete rundown of how Charlie was during her grooming ends I also felt comfortable enough to ask a bunch of questions. I will definitely be returning to Amy’s! Thank you!!

The reviews are misleading. Believe me, I can say she (the owner) is flat-out abusive to dogs. Don’t have to believe me but what would I have to gain in saying this? I have no agenda whatsoever. Just trying to warn ppl since I actually do care about animals. She’s a cat person and I have seen her with my own eyes terrorize and scare the life out of dogs she would groom and get frustrated with… even yelling things like, word for word, “I’ll break your leg!” to a poor dog who wouldn’t sit perfectly still for her during the grooming process and proceeded to drag the poor thing by its neck to the tub while it was totally mortified… AS WAS I ! (as only 1 of many examples of abusive behavior).Being a good groomer first and foremost is about patience and knowing how to handle an animal, no matter your skill set -which she didn’t have much of either. What kind of owner sets this kind of example and work environment?? The reviews on Yelp are a lot more accurate. If you care about your animal and truly want an accurate idea of what this groomer/salon is like…. take a look there ! This will eventually catch up to them. You get back what you put out in life, ie abusing animals and only caring about $ and reputation. They should worry about their character and respecting customers’ animals, not the false image they have tried to build for themselves just to get business.

I highly recommend Amys Pet Palace for your precious pets. I used them for the first time with my mini goldendoodles and had an overall great experience. I had been using a mobile groomer for many years, and I was thrilled that Amys Pet Palace actually provided transportation back and forth for my littles ones. They did an amazing job with my goldendoodles, and they were also so professional and courteous. Reasonably priced and beautiful work. Plus my little goldendoodles were super happy! Took my Cavapoo puppy, Stella there for the first time last week and the whole process was smooth and fast ! You don’t even need to go inside ! My puppy’s groom came out so adorable they even put bows in her hair for Valentine’s Day . Cheryl was so super friendly and talented I’ll definitely be asking for her again !

I brought my knotted Persian to get a lion cut for the summer and I couldn’t be happier. Not only did they do such a great job but they knew this was my cats first grooming appointment so they made it their first 9 AM appointment of the day I was so surprised that he was done in 30 minutes. Amys Pet Palace is a wonderful experience as a first time customer. I had a very matted kitty who needed a rescue hair cut and this place did that and more, the staff is amazing and i will definitely be returning with Luna !

Place was clean people were nice but very disappointed brought my 2 dogs for first time to them I switched from another vet. Also my groomer was no longer at Arcadia pet store so they recommended Amy’s grooming. I brought my dog there and was happy with his haircut but couple hrs later his eyes were all swollen. I brought him to vet n they checked for a scratch in his eyes n there wasn’t any. I told them it was from the groomer in my opinion which I had ask them to call which they didn’t after asking twice because I figured it could just simply be the shampoo from groomer. They simply gave me cream for his eyes n a bill for $125 which I paid n left. I still have no answer why this happened and I never will from vet or groomer because they recommend them and won’t say anything about them. I’m taking dog to another vet to see if eye is actually scratched because it’s been another 24 hrs almost and it’s worse if anything. Don’t use this vet they only care about money n that’s it. Hopefully whoever goes there their dog isn’t actually very sick cause I’m sure it’s money up front before they’ll help your animal. They never should even considered charging me. They just didn’t want to talk about the groomer at all because they would have to actually take some responsibility, which would effect them getting paid. Very bad business sense.

This was the first time we brought our Boston Terrier, Buster, to Amys Pet Palace. They were easy to reach, we were able to make an appointment right away, and the ladies who were there took good care of Buster. We will definitely be back!!

Professional and timely, our cat got the lion cut and they did a great job! During Covid they took all precautions and it felt very safe. Very personable and do the best to make your pet feel comfortable.

Staff was very professional and patient with all my questions. It was the first time I had to take my cat to get groomed. Went faster than I thought it would be. She came out smelling fresh and looking sharp!

Love Amys Pet Palace. Everyone there is so nice and my dog always comes out happy, smelling good and looking good. I have used all the groomers there and have been happy with all of them. And its clean and never smells when you go in.

They burned and cut my yorkiepoos penis and testicles so badly he could not even sit down. They did not even notify us of this issue. The only reason we found out because he was crying when he got home, and was very uncomfortable trying to sit down. We even had to take him to the vet for this because it looked like a third degree burn! When called to find out what happened they were very nasty! That was the last straw of my dog being cut by them. He is very well behaved, a sweetheart, and does not even move when you groom him. Unacceptable. Beware. I couldnt imagine how painful it was for him when that happened. Since changing groomers he has not been cut or burned once.

I went about two weeks ago to bring our puppy Chloe. They were tentative helpful and kind. I had a great experience and my Chloe looked beautiful. I will be returning in the near future.

Can’t say that they good, because I wasn’t happy how they groomed and haircut my doggy :( I was asking making him fluffy like a bear doggy, I got back almost sphinx cat, i paid for nothing, I even not recognized my dog :( They are not professional, not understanding what they do. Never come back!

Horrible!Im never taking my dog here ever again.My dog didnt want to enter this building when she goes to get grooming down she is fine.When our dog went inside they told us that it would take an hour and they took less than 20 minutes.Who takes 20 minutes to cut nails,give the dog a bath,trim the ears.They said it would cost $40 and tax for all of it.When we got our dog back they told us it costs $60. They said our dog tired biting them and that is why they costed more.She is the kindest dog in the world she has never tried biting anyone.They started saying excuses maybe because its a new place,maybe cause of the bad weather and more.When we took her to Bow Wow Wow it was a rainy day and they said that she was perfect and so kind and other places said the same.This is not a good place to bring dogs.I do not recommend this place.

Took my cat here for sanitary trim , ears and nails the staff is amazing and Jill was absolutely fantastic with him ... being nervous cat mom they were fast and best thank you ladies ❤

Amys Pet Palace is a wonderful place. Everyone is so nice, Sailor loves going and always looks and smells great when he comes out.

Beyond amazing ! Everyone was so nice and friendly from the moment they took daisy in to be groomed. I felt very comfortable and happy with the service. The grooming done at Amy’s pet palace was immaculate. My four month old puppy looked so fresh and clean after being groomed here and she looked happy. This was her first grooming session ever and daisy will definitely be returning back.
