Bloomingtails Grooming is by far the best spot in Staten Island to get your pets groomed. They took such great care of my girls. Dana handled my dogs just as if they were her own. If you are looking for a skilled groomer and excellent service! I highly recommend Dana and all of the other groomers at Bloomingtails Grooming!!!

This place is a must go for Grooming services if you have a fur baby! I brought my Ella there for the first time and I’m so very happy to say we finally found our groomer and will be returning!. Josephine gave her the most beautiful haircut any groomer has ever given her and the staff exceeds expectations of both professionalism and being personable, it was a pleasure!

I adopted a schnauzer-doodle breed from ACC.The puppy had never been to a groomer before. The dog was very nervous , Josephine and her wonderful staff kept the dog all day to make sure her experience was positive.They truly love and care for your pets safely and best experience

My two-year-old cavapoo Leo has been to five different groomers in three different locations. Let’s just say I am a very picky. Mom and I like my cava poo to look a certain teddy bear look. Most of the times the groomers are busy and when I speak to them and tell them what I want. It doesn’t really matter because they end up just shaving them down. But that’s until I met REN out of all the groomers on the island she actually listened and gave me what I want. Grooming isn’t cheap or easy for poodle breeds but ren truly listens and give you the cut you want for you pup. She’s amazing! So happy with my experience here

I brought my kitty Mase this morning for a deshedding bath and Josephine is the best cat groomer Ive ever met he was at ease and looked absolutely stunning after his coat is so healthy looking. I will definitely be returning! (And I live in nj lol worth the bridge in my opinion)

I have been there twice as a walk-in, with my 15 yr old large breed dog. Twice, they dropped everything just to cut his nails for me. They are so sweet, accommodating and caring. One time I was short and only had a couple of dollars to tip the groomer and she told me it didnt matter and she was happy to help my Leo. What marvelous and lovely people!

Angel is absolutely amazing and my dog looked great after seeing him. Unfortunately, front desk is very confused when it comes to reading vaccination records, I received many calls after my pet was already seen and provides poor customer service

I know the owner Josephine for 20 years. She groomed my last dog for 14 yrs, and now has been grooming my dog for almost 4 yrs. Shes friendly, compassionate, professional and the price is good. Her place is immaculate as well!! I recommend Bloomingtails to friends and strangers as well!!

I’ve had the absolute pleasure of bringing my two Aussies, Rabil and Duck, to Bloomingtails in Staten Island, and I am consistently impressed by the exceptional level of care and professionalism.Sue’s expertise is evident in every grooming session. Her unmatched attention to detail ensures my pups look exactly as I envision each time - they always leave perfectly groomed.For anyone seeking a grooming service that settles for nothing less than perfection, I highly recommend Bloomingtails.

I brought my Golden Doodle there this Sunday. He had a few knots and that’s the main reason I went . Prior to going, I asked for the price and was told that for an about 20 lbs dog the price ranges up to 70 $$ . When I picked up my dog, the groomer kept on saying that my dog was matted and I should be going to her every 8 weeks instead of every four months . She kept on berating me in front of another customer about how matted the dog’s hair was just so she could justify charging me double. I was charged 135$ She also didn’t cut his nails .

Ive taken my furbaby there twice so far and both times she came out looking beautiful. They also took her in right away and were done fairly quick. Prices are reasonable as well. Definitely our new go to spot for all of Lulus grooming needs. Cant recommend them highly enough

This place is amazing! My wife and I had been searching for a groomer for our first puppy’s (Goldendoodle) first haircut and were not happy with most places we had called. Although it took a few attempts and a little phone tag to get in touch with BT, it was well worth the wait. Angel was amazing and caring, he listened to our needs, and delivered the goods. Highly recommend this place if you are looking for a quality team and good care for your pup.

Have been going to Loren for a couple of years now. She’s given my Yorkie Peppino the best cuts compared to the groomers he’s had over the years (he’s 10 now). 10/10 would recommend.Even when she had an emergency once, another groomer stepped up and gave him a great cut too.Bloomingtails is the best spot for pet grooming on the Island. Josephine is wonderful with the animals! Both of my dogs have full coats and require a great deal of work. They always leave looking fabulous! The best groomer I’ve ever had. Wouldn’t go to anyone else!!

100% recommend Bloomingtails! Lauren was amazing ! she listened to all my concerns & nerves about leaving my baby at the groomer and made me feel comfortable that she was safe with her! Taking my dog to Bloomingtails for a good 6 months. So far all is good and i am very satisfied with the service. When my dog (Charlie) sees Dana his tail wags and he walks to her. This behavior is telling and brings me a sense of comfort... Dana also does a beautiful job. I have another dog (Aussie) which I take to Bloomingtails. Aussie does not have a regular, but they always have done a beautiful job. SO FAR SO GOOD!! Also, Josephine ( Owner) seems to be very involved.

After it being my first visit, I am pleased to say that I’ll return. Josephine took her time to service my pet and went extra time cleaning her ears. She also took care in instructing me how to help clean around her eyes. I am more than happy with the help I received from her staff also! I would recommend Bloomingtails to anyone.

Ive been going there for years and everytime Ive been there everyone was always super friendly and sociable. Lauren and Dana have always given Ducky, Daisy, & The Little Brown Lucy awesome cuts. Im very choosy when it comes to where I leaving my kids, and Ive walked out of many Groomers & Vets offices, and I really appreciate the comfort Bloomingtails gives me. I couldnt imagine going anywhere else.

I couldn’t be happier! My little dog is very anxious and I’m sure he’s not easy to work with. He’s come home from other groomers with cuts and shaking for days after. I was so hesitant and scared to leave him any where at this point. I found this place based on customer reviews and I’m so happy I did. The staff is friendly and was understanding of my concerns. The groomer, Angel, was very patient with my little guy and I left with my dog happy and looking great. Even got a little handkerchief and picture of him all groomed in front of a tree, what a nice touch❤️

This place is great! My 100lb Rhodesian mix had a huge shedding problem. The owner said shed try some sort of magical process that would reduce his shedding and it worked! The staff is great and grooming is very reasonably priced! I highly recommend!!!

What an awful experience. They cut my dogs hair crooked and made my maltese look like a shih tzu. When I mentioned it to the owner she took no responsibility. Would not recommend.

Ive been following Lauren for 7 years since I first got my dog. She is the only groomer who knows how to deal with his shedding! Lauren is great with all dogs and the customer service that is received is top notch. I highly recommend Lauren to anyone who wants high quality grooming for their dog knowing that they are truly cared for.

BEST GROOMERS EVER!!!! From the moment you walk in the door, you are greeted with not only beautiful decor but smiling people! Groomer Lauren came to meet me and my dog, found out exactly what I was looking for and in one hour when I was texted that he was ready, she had gotten it EXACTLY RIGHT!!! VERY REASONABLY PRICED.AND A LOVING ATMOSPHERE. First time in a long time my dog didnt come home traumatized. ! Highly recommend it!!!!

Brought my Morkie .Suzy in today for the first time and she was great.! She can be a bit of challenge since its hard to keep her still but with the patience of the staff they sure managed to do a great job ! Thank you all .. you have a customer for a long time !

Brought our sheltie in today for a bath and grooming. Very happy with the results and would definitely recommend. He looks and smells great! The only thing I would change is that they should have chairs in the waiting area for us nervous moms that choose to wait. Sitting on a window ledge for an hour was not comfortable!

They are the best! I have tried others to compare and went back to them! Other places have left my girl dirty, ears wet which led to ear infection and barely cut her hair... NO GROOMER IS BETTER THAN BLOOMINGTAILS! My Rosie loves Angel!

I have went to this dog salon multiple times and never had a problem. The last time I took my dog, the groomer cut my dogs scalp. And when we went to pick him up the groomer didn’t tell me what happened a few days passed and I took off the hair tie and the hair was glued together. I went back to the salon to figure out happened and they didn’t tell me the truth and sent me to my dogs vet. The vet told be about how the groomer cut my dogs scalp and put glue on. Highly don’t recommend!

Bloomingtails is absolutely wanderfull. My 10 years old Bichon Frise Misia is a regular, happy customer and she looks fabulous every time she’s groomed there. Dana does great job. She knows the cut style we like and gets it every time. It takes about 1.5 for her to be done. It is very important to me, since her previous grooming place kept Misia for half the day and no matter how great grooming place is , it is always stressful for pets.Greatly recommended.

Everyone is very friendly and my dog always comes out looking great! Have yet to have an issue and they treat your pet like it is one of their own. Another plus it never seems like you are being rushed in and out of the door. They take their time and do what needs to be done with detail.

I am soo happy my co-worker told me to go to Josephine! The place I brought him to down the block from here several times could never, or would never, groom his head and ears. I figured when I picked him up it would be a same case scenario. It soo was not! It was the 1st time I ever saw him groomed from head to toe. Soo cute! Baxter is almost 3, a Wirefox Terrier and doesnt like the buzzer. He came home happy and still full of energy. I know he was well taken care of and I look forward to bringing him again. Been coming here ever since we moved to Staten Island. Still come here even though we moved to NJ. Been to a few places in NJ, and they don’t compare to this place. Angel is the best!

First time at Bloomingtail. Owner herself assured of a great job. NEVER AGAiN. Poor dog ended up at Vet next day from terrible close shave with dull or dirty tools. Owner nasty and araggant on phone next day. If you love your dog. Avoid this place.

Brought my 5 month old cockapoo here today all the way from jersey from a friend recommendation, Paul was so welcoming to our baby, let us describe how we wanted his hair cut, gave us advice and even took pictures of ideas we got online. We picked him up to find exactly what we wanted if not better ! Paul was so sweet and took his time. Owner was very attentive as well, Place is impecable, and has cute little trinkets everywhere.
