Why does no one ever answer the phone?! There is a receptionist. I have been trying to call all day to get an appointment for my cat. Even leaving a message as to what the issue is. Nothing. Every time I call, this ALWAYS happens. I don’t know how a business is run this way. I have sent friends here for business and all say the same thing.I have included pics to what I have tried to get an appointment for this time around. No big deal right?

Do not recommend. It took transferring to another vet to find out my friends dog had a collapsing trachea and spondylosis. The new vet said both conditions were immediately identified off of X-rays from Pet Degree, but Pet Degree never informed my friend of these X-ray results and failed to return several calls and messages asking for these results. I dont know how an organization can fail to share that information or respond to people when their sole purpose for collecting a salary is to care for animals.

Came in today for the first time and I was amazed at how nice and caring the staff here are! The service was great and I can’t wait to bring my fur baby in for training

Can’t really say anything but this i can say they don’t pick up the phone. So I am still looking for a vet for our dogs guess I’ll go elsewhere 😞

I can’t put into words how much I recommend Pet Degree!!Our German Shepherd was hit by a truck and when we called there was never a second of doubt to whether they would take him or not. They took him right in and gave the absolute best care we ever could have asked for. I don’t know what I would have done without them!! I cannot praise them enough.

Avoid at all costs. I dunno where all these 5 star reviews are coming from.

I have been going to Pet Degree since day 1 of becoming a dog mom (2016) and would not dream of going elsewhere. Dr. Josh, the technicians, the groomers, the daycare attendants, the pool assistants, and everyone in between, because yes, they offer ALL of those services in one convenient place, always make us (now dog mom of 2) feel so welcomed and cared for. I dont really ever plan on going anywhere else. Weve had surgeries, sick appointments, grooming, daycare, swimming days in the winter when we cant get to the Lake, so you can take my word for it, do not hesitate to take your furry family member to Pet Degree! How can you complain about a price on the well-being of someone youre supposed to love and care for?? The picture are of the boys BEGGING to go inside if that doesnt say enough.

INCREDIBLE STAFF...GREAT GROOMERS! But.... Insanely High Markup on Pet Food, and Hard to Manage App Only Rewards Program. Why cant I have a card or Use phone #? Medication Selection Average. Clear out the Costumes and use more floor space for Necessities!

Giving this place one star is giving them credit. They misdiagnosed my dog due to this back and forth time that was wasted my furbaby had to be put down. I had to take her to another vet it took them 5 min that I would have 1 or 2 weeks with her. If she was diagnosed properly I could of took her to PA to remove the tumor. I would think twice about taking your beloved pet to this place if theyre ill. I wouldnt trust them with a house plant let alone one of my pets.

Pros...*Vets are pretty good and very decent prices for normal physicals and vaccinations.*Convenient location.*Very attentive staff..from front desk to the MDs.Cons (all of the cons have to do with the grooming services)...*Require unnecessary vaccines for grooming. Normally groomers will require rabies vaccine. Totally understandable. This is not the case at Pet Degree and its a clear indication of forcing veterinary services ($$$).*I groomed my girl in August 2023 At a family run business in South Buffalo. It was $80 including tip. In November 2023, due to transportation issues, I chose Pet Degree for her grooming appointment because I live in Kaisertown. After Several attempts to Even get an estimate from the front desk at pet Degree for what the cost will be I dropped her off for her apt (lesson learned🚩). It came to $114!! I was shocked.All in all Im just saying Shop around. There are plenty of family run pet groomers in the area that deserve the business!

If I could give a zero, I would. Awful ownership, awful ethics...heartbreaking for pet owners.

Vet was super nice, prices are pretty high IMO but great staff, super friendly and great with dogs, as you can see, my dog is completely comfortable here, lol

Wouldnt trust this place to provide adequate care to your fur babies. They had numerous chances to help my dog get better but it took me to advocate for certain testing for it to get done, and they seem to do the bare minimum, considering their were more tests they could do. Now that were going to a trusted family vet my fur baby is getting all the necessary tests and we are going through the process of elimination to determine what is the cause to the issue. This vet clinic advised if this last round of meds do not work that their isnt much else they can do. This is completely wrong and I am so glad my furbaby is no longer going there.

The only people who genuinely care about our pets. Cheapest vet weve been able to find and they get us in as soon as possible during emergencies. Every single staff member is absolutely amazing, were beyond greatful for Pet Degree.

My dog loves this place and I love how the place treats him! been going here for over a year, were told by a previous vet he needed to be muzzle trained before they would see him again... not at Pet Degree! these people go at his speed and work with him to ensure a pleasant appointment.Dr. Josh did wonders when pup tore his CCL, Dr. Reynders is simply amazing.Highly recommend you look no further if youre thinking of switching here!

Always great care for our pets

Dr Josh is great with pets and at explaining everything, however, it is very difficult to get ahold of the office and they lack communication skills. I had to call three days in a row for a refill. When I was finally able to reach someone they neglected to tell me that the dose I get for my dog was out of stock. They charged me 20-25 more for the prescription because I needed two separate pills. They acted like they were doing me a favor by taking 17 dollars off ( it was still 20-25 more than the usual prescription). This is not the first time I’ve had a difficult time reaching someone in the office. We had a positive and professional first visit but I am unimpressed and frustrated with the lack of responsiveness and communication.

If you love your pet, I suggest you find a better place to take them. Our poor 6 year old girl was diagnosed with diabetes, she spent 2 nights there in critical condition and then released to us...still in bad shape. We had to force feed her (baby food) after 2 weeks at home of this tournament, she got very sick again throwing up not drinking water. I called 3 times, finally went there and they said someone would call but of course they didnt. Today I went there crying and screaming, they said oh bring her in she needs ivs...I said no way and send her information to a new place. Unfortunately after going back and forth with treatment (3 weeks and over $2000) our baby was so bad we had to say goodbye and put her down. Please, please do not take your fur babies there! We are completely destroyed.

Took my puppy here for the first time, and I have to say when we picked her up she looked so beautiful. This is Molly first time getting groomed, we will be coming back next month for her birthday.

I can’t say enough about Dr.Josh. My dog had urinary tract infections for over 2 years. I decided to get a second opinion with Dr. Josh. He was able to fix my dog within 2 visits. She has not had an infection since and now we just monitor her. Before coming to see Dr. Josh my dog was getting urinary tract infections every 2 months! Thank you so much for fixing my baby!

We went for just a rabies shot, I had called to ask what it would cost. I was told 20.00 for shot an 50.00 office fee. We had arrived it was clean. Took a while being the first one when they opened. When the doctor had come in he was quiet pushy about getting our puppy fixed, he also said he wanted to give him another shot. Did not mention once that we would charged for it. All we had came for was the one shot. If he needed the other one they should of said we would be paying for that as well. I will not be going back as the wait was very long for first appointment of the day, the doctor didn’t be very informative. Was very hopeful of this place but was very disappointed

All the staff here are wonderful, and the doctor is absolutely amazing and truly knows about every breed of dogs there is. And he always gives amazing tips and tricks. You can tell everyone that works there, has a true love for animals.

They treat my dogs well at the actual visit. But taking your dogs to vet is always a battle. I was hoping I could trust them a little bit more than a normal vet office but theyre all the same. They wont give a heart worm test to my puppy and told me at the appt that I could order heart worm meds until hes old enough. Well I did, now they wont approve it. So basically my only option is to go there once a month and purchase a single pack pill from them until he can get the test. Awesome, so I was able to buy the same exact stuff at a much cheaper price from 1-800 pet meds but nope. Gotta buy from them or my puppy with go without heart worm meds for 4 months. Fantastic.

In my opinion, I feel this establishment is kind of shady. I took my pets in for routine visits, and ended up with extra costs in unnecessary testing and unnecessary medications. 😑 I bounced this establishment and went back to my honest Veterinarian Establishment of McClellan Small Animal Hospital. They have much more integrity.

Great staff, amazing prices, Ive never been inside because i started going there for my dog during the Corona shutdown but I know they have other things like a pool and stuff. The staff and price alone though, A+++. The taller guy( im terrible with remembering names) is so great, hes super nice and my dog is TERRIFIED of vets especially with not being able to go in with him, it was the same guy for each check up and he always makes sure that he brings my boy in as nicely as possible. Copper has actually started to be less scared to go since going to pet degree, the tech makes sure going in is a good experience for copper each time even if it means doggy uber carrying him in like a kid haha

Took our cocker spaniel there for years for grooming. Always did a great job.

Dont even know where to begin. They missed a hotspot on my dog that I had told them about. They shaved my dog around the hotspots terribly. Other than giving me medication they didnt tell me any kind of care for the spots to be shaved to. Im so disgusted I dont even wanna give any more on the review. But also when I went to pick up my dog I called to tell them I was there and they said my dog was all set and someone will be right out. I waited almost 40 minutes before my dog came out. And they are so into the covitt virus with not letting anybody in and yet the girl that brings the dog out doesnt wear a mask. Go figure. I would never take my dog there again. And believe me there was much more that I am not going to speak of now.

They have everything in one place. Vet, dog training and play group. Also, Dr. Reynders is amazing. Trust me she is the best. She treats every animal as if they were her own; cares not in it for the $.

I do like this vet. The staff is wonderful and has helped so much, excellent groomer, Dr Josh has been great, I like they practice more holistic then western but overall they have been good for whats been needed for our pet and appreciate all of them! Thank you guys!

Dr. Josh is very personal and makes you understand. The staff is kind, talkive and remember your pets by name. Highly recommend

Took my cat because she was sick in July of 2020. Dr Josh and his team went out of the way to be most professional and helpful. How ever by February of 2021 I watched my cat go down hill and by April she was dying. I went in April for her appointment had the Vet tech document what was happening and requested that it was time to let her go. Instead she was given a steroid shot which lasted 3 days after which she slowly stopped eating and she was so weak she fell down several times. At this point I took her elsewhere and had her euthanized which was the best I could do for her. After this was over I sat down and went over everything and found I had missed a couple of red flags with her care. I never expected her to be 100% and possibly not make to the end of the year. I just never expected for this to happen the way it did when it could have been done differently.

Although unable to accompany my furbaby into the vet due to the pandemic, the staff is very friendly and the veterinarian was wonderful. They handled my Italian Mastiff pup Geno very well. Glad I chose them.

I cannot express my gratitude towards Dr. Josh and the family at PET DEGREE. They continue to amaze me and out-do my high expectations each and every visit. The staff is incredibly personable and make you and your fur baby feel completely comfortable. I cannot thank you enough for the love and care you have provided for me and my fur babies. Dr Josh is the most amazing vet in this area!!! I would not consider taking my pets to anyone else. I have followed him to his new hospital because he is truly a compassionate person with a love of animals and their parents. I am forever grateful to him for the care and treatment we have always received by him. He was a treasure caring for my 3 babies and myself. He saw me through the loss of each. His office also works with Heart Rescue and provides the same personal touch. He is a Rockstar!! CJ

Took my dog Stryker there on 11-3-20. They are helpful and awesome staff. The dr Josh is very friendly and I enjoyed my experience with them. They made Stryker the baby feel safe. Thank you guys

The staff is always very kind and helpful. My mom takes her dog here whenever anything is wrong and they are wonderful with him.

I called to make an appointment. Instead I got put on hold. When the lady came back on the line she told me she had patients to check out , so she took my name and number. She told me she would call me back in a few minutes. That was 3 hours ago. She hasnt called back yet, and when I called again I got a message that their mailbox was full, so apparently they arent taking or returning anyones calls.

Do not take your pet there. A 6 month old puppy past away. The puppy became sick after being spayed there. They guessed and treated for worms and an infection. Took to emergency hospital and she had pneumonia. It was to late. The hospital wanted the x-rays and blood work immediately but Pet Degree said they would send them tomorrow.

This is my first time at this place. My dog has to have surgery on her leg so I will see how they are . but very nice staff Now I take Jazzabelly to daycare there and she loves Kaitlin.

I would not suggest Pet Degree to anybody, We ended up wasting $350 and had a sick cat for a week because we couldnt get more medication due to the office not being responsive, heres the story.We brought our cat in for a sick visit because she had been throwing up, proceeded to have Dr. Josh tell us his main concern was pancreatitis, so he proceeded to order us to do blood work that cost us $350. He called us and stated she did not have pancreatitis and we had to keep giving her the medicine and she should get better. We then were prescribed medicine and we ran out of it quickly and attempted to call and the doc was unavailable for 5 days and we couldnt get more so our cat was throwing up constantly. The staff we spoke with stated they couldnt advise us on anything and that for the next 5 days we just had to wait and watch her suffer. On the day he was supposed to call us we heard nothing, and i had to call the next day for them to tell me the doc wouldnt be in for 2 more days. So we called a new doc and got an appointment and they informed us that the blood work that was done did not show results of a pancreatitis check and that we had to do another but this one was specifically to check for that disease and was only $60. So Dr Josh told us our cat didnt have pancreatitis when the results didnt show anything, it was a huge waste of money. He never considered hairball or anything like the new vet discussed with us and was unreachable for a week while our cat had no medication. So Dr Josh had us do expensive blood work that didnt check for the main concern he had. I would not suggest anybody to them as they charge a ton of money for things that may not even test for the actual concern, and the staff doesnt leave messages when you ask them too and become unreachable for a week.

REAL Professionals that work around compassion and for the love of animals as compared to most other veterinarian clinics that do it just for the money! Appreciate these wonderful people and establishment

Best vet in town. Dr Josh is incredibly pragmatic. Unlike most clinics that are now owned by large private equity companies, Pet Degree doesnt try and upsell you at every corner. Great doggie daycare. You can rent the pool and go swimming with your dog! Conveniently located off Odgen exit of 190.

I took my cat there and the staff was great but the never called me back about his test and then they were suppose to call us a week after they put him on meds and I still havent heard from them!

This pet store is horrible they are a ripoff they are scammers they use anything to make a profit they inflate the cost of pet vaccines they are NOT reliable or responsible or professional they don’t care about animals only The money they can make off ur animals THEY DO NOT CLEAN in between pets the facility is NOT CLEAN OR Sanitary at all if you want your pet to stay safe and heathy and germ free DONT GO TO PET DEGREE.

If you want quality care for your pets and friendly/knowledge staff, do NOT bring your pet here.Our 8 year old Great Dane has a freak accident on Monday (5/6) that caused her ear to have a very deep laceration. We called Pet Degree to see if they could get her in that day to have a peak at it. No one answered the phone during their business hours, so we left a message.The next day, her ear was significantly worse and the laceration grew bigger. We still didnt hear from Pet Degree, so we called them again. The receptionist on the phone told us that They were too busy dealing with flea/tick season and they can get her in the following Tuesday (5/14). Thank goodness we went with our gut and took her to the emergency vet!!The veterinarian on staff told us if we waited a week like Pet Degree advised, she wouldve had a major infection, lost her entire ear and would have likely gone septic. Since we caught it in time, her ear was cleaned/drained/sutured and was given the proper medications to give her after we brought her home. The emergency vet told us to contact Pet Degree to get her sutures removed in 10-14 days.We called Pet Degree today and they could care less about our old lady and how she was doing. They were more annoyed that we called than compassionate. Its a shame that the supportive staff are so nasty. The two times we visited, Dr. Josh was great.We have since cancelled the appointment and are transferring her to a different practice.

I was there for the first time today with my rescue pup Yogi...I was completely blown away with the staff, the setting, the wide range of services and the treatment my dog received...I would recommend this wonderful place to anyone looking for pet services...my dog loved it too!!!

Dr. Josh and his team are awesome. Super friendly and beyond knowledgeable. I took my cat in because of a respiratory infection and she is now on the mend and feeling like herself again. I was worried about expensive extra procedures and nothing was pushed on me. I highly recommend this vet office!

Dr. Josh is very good with his clients and patients. I have witnessed he is a very knowledgeable person and takes his time to explain to his clients what he is thinking. He has compassion for his patients. He tells a story that relates to whats going on with the patient to get a laugh out of the clients.I highly recommend coming to Pet Degree for training, for daycare and for a vet.

I ve been to several local vets and this is by far the best with customer service, friendliness and knowledge. I moved quite a distance away but I still take my pets here!

I am deeply offended by the treatment that I received at this establishment on 4/18/18 from Courtney Miller. I showed up for my first session of the playgroup and was denied to come after I had already paid due to the dog they brought out acting up and growling at my dog. The other dog also pawed my dogs face. Courtney then blamed it on my dog who never growls and is harmless and made this judgement based off of a less than 10 second encounter. We socialize our dog very well, we take him to Knox farm every Sunday even in the winter and we wanted to try out this place. I am very disappointed by the treatment of me and my dog at this store and will not be returning.
