The staff were all very friendly and knew the cats personalties, health, and backgrounds pretty well. I was impressed with how nice the place looked and the space they gave all of them. There are so many sweet and loving cats there! The dogs they were walking outside were very nice as well. They would walk up and get pets from everyone. They helped me pick out Forklift and he did not take long to make this his new home and I am very happy with how today went! He has explored, purred, played, and is now sleeping happily on my bed.For those wanting to adopt, this is a great place to find them!

This review is specific to the Wildlife departmentI drove by a dead skunk on the road and there was a baby literally sitting on top of the mother right next to the road. I called the SPCA and they told me that if I could safely do it, to capture and bring in the baby skunks! My girlfriend and I were carefully able to do so and were able to catch them, turns out there were 2. We brought them into the SPCA and were told they would try to find a rehabilitation center and then euthanize them if they couldn’t. I was a little unsettled by this and handed them over, I immediately started researching and calling places that could take them. I called the SPCA again and left a voicemail asking them NOT to euthanize as I was working on finding a place as well.I called again to inform them that I had found 2 licensed rehab centers and would drive them there to be taken care of, at this point they told me they had euthanized the baby skunks. It hadn’t even been more than 3 hours and the skunks were already dead.I told the women I spoke on the phone with that I wouldn’t have brought them there in the first place if they weren’t even going to try and I would’ve just taken them to the rehab center, to which she said something along the lines of “then why didn’t you?”. I didn’t know euthanasia was the first step in this process!Overall very disappointing, I wanted to help these little skunks out so they could live their lives elsewhere, I did not realize that by bringing them in they would be dead on arrival.

Have been looking for a lionsmane bunny for years. I stumbled upon Nugget last Monday. What an amazing experience the staff were friendly and knowledgeable. I felt comfortable and the new facilities were amazing! Everyone had a smile. Nugget is flourishing, and I recommend adoption. Our first dog, Reggie, was a lab/sheppard mix he was the most amazing, kind, special gift we have ever had. All my pets from the SPCA have been the best. Thank you. And if Nuggets family sees this, know he is loved, and you did an amazing job! Please remember these are family members, not gifts.... this bun is free roam and on a farm. Give them the best life ever as you are their world! ❤️ Also, I got a free vet visit within the 1st 10 days... exotics like Nugget are 50 to 60 depending on the vet👍❤️

Went to the Erie county SPCA just to look around. Had several conversations with different staff members and ended up adopting a sweet dog. The staff behaviorist talked to us about him and shared all the information they had on him. And to top it off they were running a promotion so it cost less than it normally would. If you are in the market for a pet I strongly recommend starting at the SPCA, you might just save a life!!!

Adopted a cat in 2022 from there, his brother died in the spca a week I guess after me and my boyfriend adopted this cat. Fell in love with him instantly and grew a bond so quick , ended up starting to sneeze blood and spca lipsey clinic continued to tell me it was nothing that it was either a upper respiratory infection or because of the dryness and insisted that we continued to give him antibiotics and nasal drops it helped but it’s like they didn’t do any more testing they didn’t try to rule out any other possible causes for that when they’re was many, not to long after my cat went stiff and wasn’t able to walk etc and had to rush him into emergency vet where they took blood and RULED OUT OTHET POSSIBLE REASONS TO COME TO find out MY CAT HAD CANCER! Not an upper respiratory infection not because of the dryness or this or that. They don’t care about the animals & it shows. I’m not the only one who’s had an issue so save your hearts from breaking and adopt from another shelter.

The lady in charge of the cat viewing area was horribly rude and clearly didn’t want to let go of any of the kittens. Wouldn’t allow my 8 yr old daughter pet or even touch the kittens . Everyone from the front desk to the crazy cat lady , made us feel unwelcome, and acted like they didn’t want to adopt to us .My daughter literally cried on the way home . I will not support that location ever again. We will still get a kitten , just not through the spca . Good job making a child cry .

Went to view cats that me and my husband were interested in adopting . We had one cat in mind but basically told we don’t know how she would do with other animals since she is a tripod. We never even got to see the cat mind you. Saw other female cats but was told two are bonded. Not very welcoming at all. Never got to meet any cat just look behind glass. The lady in charge seemed to not want to adopt to us? And come to find out this was the same lady that when my husband went there a few months ago about a cat that was found in the street injured and inquired about adopting it after it was healed was turned away. For a place that encourages adoption that was opposite of what we were met with.

Very disappointed with the SPCA. Our cat went missing and tried repeatedly to speak with someone about posting a lost cat notice on their Facebook page. Left voicemails and only received one call back. Missed the call but the woman didn’t provide her name or a direct number. Their policy is they will return your call in 3 business days. Three days?!! We lost our cat!!This is especially galling considering my wife has given thousands of dollars over the years and plans on donating a large sum when she passes. Please do better!

The people are very helpful. The cages are clean and the animals are well cared for. The program such as dog entourage day is a really good thing as it lets you take a dog out for the day. It not only helps with getting the dog out of the facility but also socializes them and lets you see if the dog is a good fit for you. It lets people who cant own a dog get a chance to spend time with one. The gift shop has a lot of nice items to purchase. The cat section is nice too. The events and educational programs are very important that provide learning and fun activities for the family . Glad that there is a safe haven for all the animals to go to.

This is a very late review but cant go unsaid, this place is a life saver. Last year, we had a stray we bonded very well with. Our neighbor called her Skully (because the marking on her back looked like a skull) and it just stuck. We would give her flea medicine, dewormer, food and water everyday. We always hung out with her on our porch and she became the reason so many more street kittys became friendly with us too! When she came along she was super skinny but we got her back to health with lots of love quickly. One day, she didnt show up, which was no like her at all. She always visited, everyday. We were very worried. Three days later we assumed someone hit her and left her for dead. We would call her name from our porch many times hoping shed come but she never did. Later that day, my boyfriend was going through the little garden in front of our house and he found her! But it wasnt looking good... She couldnt move and it appeared she couldnt walk. We got her food and water and put it next to her as we let her eat and rest. Then we decided to see what was wrong... She was clearly in a lot of pain. We quickly realized something was extremely wrong with her back legs. It seemed like she couldnt feel them or moved them at all. We decided to get her into an extra large tote and bring her in for the night (we already had a very grumpy cat) and put her in the bathroom. We got up the next morning and started making calls. We didnt have money to get her into a vet. We called three places before someone directed us to this place. We explained she was hit by a car (she had tire marks on her back end) and we needed help and no other rescues were willing to help. They immediately told us to bring her in and she would be processed and given care. They told us we could re adopt her for $40 once she was ready to go home. We did. She had a broken pelvis in multiple places. We adopted her as soon as they called us. We were so happy they helped us, no questions asked no hesitation. She became the best mama to the kitten I adopted too. She is the sweetest and probably wouldnt be around without this place and all the wonderful people who work there. We are forever thankful and highly recommend this spot if youre ever stuck in an unfortunate situation with a furry friend! She made a full recovery. She walks funny still, with her back legs pointed in but it funny and shes happy as ever. Love our little Skully.

Wouldn’t go here unless you are completely ready to buy a cat FROM THEM. Went there to take a look and see the cats they have and they pressure you into getting one right off the bat. We asked to see a cat and the lady was pretty much getting out the paperwork to finish the deal and we hadn’t even spent 5 minutes with the cat or even got the chance to see another one. The lady almost shamed us for even wanting to see another cat. These are the same people who shame owners for giving the animal up but they will sit there and stare at you and make you feel bad if you don’t adopt them. Then when we said we were going to think about it, she got angry and rude saying how they won’t hold the cat. Went to the Ten Lives Club after, can’t recommend them enough. their hospitality and willingness to not rush you into adopting if you are not ready, they actually care about the animals instead of trying to move them out like merchandise.

They are lovely and happy birds and I’m so happy I got the chance to rescue them. Just a thank you to the amazing people at the SPCA for helping me find my birds. 5 stars because much respect for all they do. The complex is very nice, clean and modern and of course they care about the animals and the prospective homes they will go to. My aunt has been waiting to adopt a kitten for months after her previous cat passed and we wanted to wait and make sure everything was ready. Created a cat room for the new addition to enjoy! The kittens on the premises were in need of a multi cat household so they directed us to go to Pet Smart where they were doing adoptions of suitable kittens. We arent impulsive when it comes to adopting and after the already long wait, we found a gorgeous grey tiger kitten and she knew immediately that she was the right one. Gentle, calm but with the expected curiosity of a kitten. My aunt is very happy and this kitten now has a great home and a great life ahead of her. Thanks for saving the lives of countless creatures and finding them homes! Please spay and neuter to reduce unwanted pets! We only adopt and if you are thinking about it, go for it.

Editing my review 9/17/22My family is super grateful to the staff at the SPCA for making our adoption process educational and smooth this past week. We came in with our son and he loved one of the kittens who was already adopted. They educated us about the best age and personality for our child and walked us through the process. We were given extensive health information and everyone was so happy for our kitten going to his new home. Would definitely recommend to others looking to adopt.I am a personal aide to individuals with disabilities and I regularly bring them here to walk around and see the animals. The volunteers are always very kind and friendly. The facility is super clean and there is a wide variety of animals. If and when I am ready to adopt another pet, I’d definitely look here!

I started looking at puppies and dogs on their website. When we decided we wanted to add another dog or puppy to our household. I reached out to the SPCA because several of the rescues that I reached out to I got zero response from. And I’m not trying to sound arrogant but I have an excellent application so there’s no reason why I would be intentionally overlooked. However, at the SPCA everyone was extremely nice and very helpful. They helped us figure out which of the dogs they had would fit best in our household because we already have some pets. We met and fell in love with the little stinker. She’s sweet and adorable and is settling in beautifully!

What an amazing resource our local SPCA is! These folks are incredibly dedicated to animal welfare, to wildlife health, to responsible pet ownership, and to being a lifeline for animal emergencies when virtually no other local municipalities will take responsibility. I am grateful for the help they have provided our community and hope they receive all the support they need to meet their mission.

Because of the false statement I was unable to look at the dog or apot . Because I dont get to see the dog or got to adopt the dog I got very upset outside and I suffer from PSTD. The staff was always welcoming and empathetic to my needs and more importantly, my timeline. I finally found my perfect match in an old gal about 8 years old. If I ever find myself again in the stressful position where I need to reach out with an animal welfare question, I will be sure to contact any organization I can think of but the SPCA. We adopted 2 kittens a few months ago, Nemo (now Randy) and Edith. We were informed Nemo had issues but was past the worst but hed aways be full of snot. 2 weeks into having him he was having issues struggling to breathe.Multiple vet visits, antibiotics, an antiviral, blood work, a culture from his sinuses, and a sinus flush, and an ani inflammatory costing around $2,000 or more hes thankfully better. Hes always going to be full of snot and sound it.What kinda sucked was being scared for his little life for more then a month. And calling your clinic just had an automated message basically saying if you arent already a client dont bother leaving a message we wont get back to you. Thats why I gave 3 stars. That said, the staff were all very nice and we love are cats. Nemo made it through the worst of it probably will occasionally need a flush and or more antibiotics if he gets bad again. But now hes a busy guy that runs, jumps, plays hard. Are vet think hes adorable and fawn over him when hes in.Edith was a great match for him and they play and cuddle.Shes a total gremlin and loves to snuggle inside our sweater or coat. She loves any and all food, climbing, being chatty, and sleeping on us in the mornings. Theyre both cute and I post a few pictures.

This place is amazing. My husband and I experience was pleasurable. I know, going to an animal rescue should have been depressing. This is not the case. You can feel the passion the people who work there have towards the animals. My puppy as they called her, Howl, now she is my Bella-Ashley and her siblings where playing to their hearts content. We left with Bella-Ashley with food and some great advise from the behaviorist. Also, we were told if we need any puppy assistance regarding any puppy issues that might arise they have classes that will help us in getting our little Bella-Ashley some behavior training. BUT, good to know, we dont need any assistance. BUT, its great to know they are still there for us after the adoption. Bella-Ashley is a smart little girl and knows the meaning of no. Then absorbs our behind the ear rubs as a award for her good behavior. Bella-Ashley thank the people at the SPCA for saving her life. And my husband and I thank the SPCA for the opportunity to adopt such a beautiful girl. With much appreciation we thank you all. Sincerely, the Perry Family.

I have been wanting to write a review of the SPCA and our experience for a while but I have not had the chance to until now. My husband and I adopted our 2nd dog back in October from the SPCA and our experience was not that good. We adopted our dog on a Thursday night and we were not able to get the dog to our local vet until the following week. In that time period, we noticed that her reverse cough (which we notice when we were at the SPCA and the staff was aware of it too) was getting worst and she started to not have as much energy as she did before. So we called our vet that Monday to get her in as soon as possible and come to find out she had Kennel Cough and she had it for awhile. So we had to get the medicine for her which cost her $50. Our vet also told us to keep a eye on our other dog because the chances of him getting it or having it already was really high. And guess what, he got it too and had to get another more medicine for him and his cost $60 because he is bigger and needs more. Either way, I contacted the SPCA after I found out that our new dog has kennel cough and had it for a bit and they basically turned it on me told me it was my fault that I didnt bring her back right away. Are ya kidding me?!? I also wanted to let them know and needed to check all the dogs and notify anyone who just adopted but they didnt care. I was so shocked of their customer service and how they didnt care because the dog was no longer in their care. I am very happy and love our new addition to our family and I am so happy we got her out of there! Not only did she have kennel cough, she was also underweight and needed to gain about 20 lbs.So my advise to anyone who adopts from here.....take them to your vet as soon as possible or have the SPCA give you medicine for kennel cough. If there are any medical issues with the animal you adopt, you only have 48 hours to bring them back and weekends are included in that 48 hours.

You have to come in and meet the cats. So I drove 40 minutes to meet the cats. Then I wait 15 minutes at the reception desk while they have me fill out the forms and then put my information into the system. Finally I enter into the room where the house the cats. Lo and behold the volunteer tells me actually we dont have any cuddly cats!! Wow. Such a horribly disappointing experience, deception, unprofessionalism, lack of staff and lack of respect for the patrons time. The cats at this facility are not properly socialized. I walked in with my 4 yr old daughter and my mother looking to adopt a cat. First we went to the gift shop and purchased a $40 dog sweater and the entire time we were in there, we were followed by an older woman that was being instructed by a younger woman at the counter to go around and check/fix everything my mother was looking at. I thought that was pretty rude to begin with so we quit shopping and went to look at the cats.Shortly after we started looking, we were swarmed by volunteers in this tiny room. One of the older women was particularly rude to my mother, asking her to get away from one of the cats. They treated her as if she were some criminal, even though we have spoiled pets all of our lives.I agree with all of the other one-star ratings... How on Earth do you know if you want to adopt unless you can bond with your potential pet?! The staff made me and my mother feel extremely unwelcome. I had to tell my 4 year old that was expecting to adopt a cat, that we couldnt because mommy was too upset with the volunteers. I wont be going there any time soon. While I love what they do for animals that are in need, it was sad to see how the staff treated people. I wanted to volunteer for community service hours here and went on the website to find some opportunities. I e-mailed one woman about the photography volunteer opportunity and she never got back to me. Therefore, I emailed one of the coordinators to speak with her which she then informed me you had to be 18 for the opportunities listed on site. That, I understand, but it says nowhere on the site you have to be 18. Then, I tried to set up hours I could come in to volunteer and she would only answer one question out of the three I emailed her with, so I would have to keep asking them. I then told her the days I was available in May, which are the days she said it would be good to come in. Later on, she claimed I had never told her what days I were available and asked me to tell her. Thinking something had changed, I asked her to repeat the days they were open to volunteers and I never heard from her again. It seemed very uncoordinated and honestly, a bit ungrateful. If youre reaching out for volunteers on your website I think it should be a bit more informative and easier to get in touch with the people who are in charge of the volunteers. I really just wanted to help out around the place, but it was a shame that they really didnt pay much mind to someone willing to help out.

I took my daughter there cause we were in the area. I tried to call first but nobody was answering the phone. As I walked in there was six people standing around and was told you needed a appointment just to look. Place was a ghost town and asked if my daughter could just see. They said no way, They said that I need an appointment while six of you are standing around doing nothing and can’t even answer the damn phone. I hope they weren’t getting paid for it. Personally I kinda understand about appointments but with no one there come on! Poorly run place you should be ashamed. With that said I recommend the Buffalo animal shelter for all your adopting needs. Oh most important thing thing myself and my family will no longer be donating to the spca because of their poor judgment lack of people skills and poor interaction with the public

Wonderful new facility. Staff and volunteers are always very friendly and helpful. The animals have much nicer accommodations than the old location which was showing its age. Dont go to a breeder, adopt a pet in need of a good home. You can also shop at their store for pet related items to help support them.

First time I went I fell in love with an 8yr old male cat. They said they had to wait another day to see if the owner claimed him. Then he would be checked out by the Vet. I waited 3 days to see if he was ready because he was not on the website. They would give me no information about him. Check the website, I was told again. I went in today(2days later). He was adopted they said. Im disabled and feel I was discriminated against. Also, the handicapped doors did not work all 3 times that I went there. Im done with them! I went to Tabby Town at McKinley Mall. They are the best group of people. There were so many cats that needed homes. The place is so clean and the cats are so well kept. They brought me the cat I had hoped to find but did not tell them exactly what I wanted. What a perfect fit! I am the proud mama of a wonderful 4 yr. old tuxedo male cat! If you need a new kitty go to Tabby Town.

Has declined in recent years. Three times we have gone and the volunteers have been extremely rude. Signs are conflicting esp. in the dog area (can open/can’t open/touch/don’t touch) and staff treats prospective adopters as an inconvenience talking down to them for trying to interact with the animals. For wanting to promote adoptions (knowing the overflow of animals in need) trying to get a hold of someone on the phone is impossible yet when going in there are multiple staff members standing around and no one there to greet/help. Used to be a promoter but for one of the largest spcas around there is a lot to be desired in the costumer service experience. The wild life department who has been dealt with numerous times has been nothing but impressive and helpful.

It’s almost two weeks with my newly adopted pup and I want to share my great experience with the overall adoption process and pet shop. Jessica the manager of the shop has always been readily available to answer all my questions and gives great recommendations. As a new dog owner I felt a lot more confident taking Hoover home. Patty has also been a great resource! Hoover is still a puppy and has some minor accidents in the house and she recommended products as well as training advice which was extremely helpful. I like coming to the spca to purchase my dogs supplies because not only do the proceeds benefit the organization I also learn a lot about caring for my animal. It can be overwhelming going to PetSmart or any other franchise to purchase pet supplies because you get a plethora of choices. I like that the shop is concise and has toys that are very durable and treats that my puppy loves! Thanks so much for the great customer service!!!!

We attended a fundraiser event. Fun was had by all. I felt something was off when viewing the dogs in the building. There were only a few and one was exactly like the pup I am fostering. They told me she was from the same place. She was so despondent and afraid. My pup is also very timid and leery of people. I believe she needs better care and attention to her feeling of insecurity, perhaps placing her where she is not confronted by large groups of people looking at her through plexiglass. My heart still hurts for her. Now I wish I had adopted her and found her forever home with my foster pup. They need other pups to be with them for comfort.

Our fur baby Gizmo fell ill faster than we could have imagined. The SPCA worked very fast to get us in and give him peace instead of making us wait and watch him suffer. I cannot tell you enough how fast his health changed. It feels very surreal but I am beyond thankful for the SPCA kindness, support and fast care. Rest in Peace Gizmo.

This place is just phenomenal. Ill definitely be coming back here to visit some of the shelter animals but I highly recommend everyone stops by here if theyre considering adopting a little pet. Regarding dogs, they seem to have like 85% pit mixes of some kind, so I will put that here as a warning to some people that may be worried about banned breeds and insurance reasons.Staff here are amazing, super friendly and helpful.

My fiance and I went there to look at the dogs. When we went there the first time to look at the pups, they said we had to fill out the pass. We wanted to adopt. So we did and while that was going on the power went out. They said there was nothing to be done. Youre just going to have to wait. We left to take a drive and talk about it. Came back 5 minutes later and wanted to adopt him. He was already adopted. So we checked out another pup and the main volunteer that we met with was the sweetest woman ever. But another senior volunteer gave us attitude telling us that we couldnt walk her or do much with her. It was very poorly managed with dogs outside. We liked the dog and decided to get her. While up at the front desk, I went to use the restroom and came back to see my lovely fiance almost in tears. One of the payed professionals had sworn and called her nasty names in front of other guests and didnt apologize. I hope the animals are treated better than we were.

Everything was great except for 1 part, which felt kinda big. The staff was very nice and helpful and made adopting my kitty easy and comfortable. My mark is that the the cats in the cages in the back have a lesser seeming chance for adoption especially after getting crammed practically the same size as the cat and look like rodent traps. I wanted to have a meet and greet with a cat and after getting put in the cage he peed out of fear and was left to soak in the urine while the person went to get something to clean the floor. It was traumatizing feeling helpless as hes howling in the crate soaking in his pee and theres nothing we can do because the urine on the floor was seen as a bigger importance than getting him out of his urine filled hell. Theres got to be a better way to transport to the meet an greet. Theres also a woman that I believe is too old and out of it to be handling the cats after watching her try to shove a frightened cat sideways into the crate. Some of the volunteers are wonderful. The woman who did the adoption with me was very kind.

Very clean facility, friendly staff and volunteers. I went to donate a dog bed and ended up leaving with a new pet hamster. I loved seeing all the small critters the SPCA has for adoption, and I feel that alot of people dont realize they have more then just cats and dogs!! And most of the small critters are rescues too, either found abandoned or turned in by owner.

Went with my mother today. Called multiple times with no response. We have been trying to get a kitten for months for my brother as a late Christmas present. Unfortunately we let this be known, and received nothing but hostility. Apparently attempting to suprise someone is frowned upon. After a half hour of the staff whispering amongst themselves we were told we could not adopt a kitten because its taboo to try and give a family member a gift. Extremely rude staff and would never go again.

I made two appointments to go in and see if I could give a good boy or girl dog their forever home. The first time I was unsuccessful in finding a match, but the staff was very warm and encouraging to try again soon. Within 5 days I was back to try again, and this time found my good boy. Both times I went in, the staff was cheerful and friendly, and the place was immaculately clean and welcoming.Once I found my friend, all of the staff that saw us were congratulating us, and giving out treats and lovin to my boy. This was the first time I adopted a pet on my own and the SPCA made it really easy, even during these trying times. If youre still on the fence about going in, the place was very clean, and there was plenty of room to social distance. Book an appointment to see a dog, or go ahead and show up to see any of their other awesome pets ie. Ferrets, Rabbits, Chickens, Cats and bring home a friend today.(Covid rules may/will change after writing)

Our mission as cat parents has been to give older cats a home to live out their golden years. We were presented to Max, a 10 year old rescue from a hoarding situation. Hes a nerdy dude with a goofy body and lots of personality. When the staff vet reviewed his physical condition, she sprinted thru it at warp speed. To this date Im not sure I have the right feline. From the notes Max is obese, NOT, not sure if hes fully neutered, and reports of nasal problems, NOT.Since we were bonded, we took Max to our vet and all is well.

The new SPCA is sadly further away from my house. We finally drove out there to check it out. The building looks huge, but somehow it seemed like there was much less animal space. The barn was smaller, less stalls. There were only two rows of dog kennels open. Im not sure if they had more closed off, but what was visible definitely seemed smaller. I love the cat rooms, but again, it seems to hold less cats. I wish they had opened this in addition to their old location rather than as their only location.

The facility is amazing. This new location is beautifully built and is huge. In comparison to the location on Ensminger it has much less space being used for the animals, poor planning. This one doesnt allow you to have much interaction with the animals unless you go through the beginning process of adoption. Which is fine for people adopting, but I typically go just to spend some time with the kitties and doggos. I think spending time with them is therapeutic for both us and them so this is unfortunate. They keep most of the cats completely hidden and I was not told this by the volunteers even though they couldnt have known I wasnt interested in adopting. The dog kennels have never been filled even though working with rescue, I know there are plenty of dogs needing to be placed. Sadly here, they dont allow much interaction with the animals and even though there arent signs disallowing it the volunteers will be quick to rudely assert this after youve made the mistake of trying to pet them.

I have been visiting the Erie County SPCA for the past couple of months and I at first loved this location. As of recently, my past 3 visits have been very disappointing. The volunteers have been extremely rude to myself and others. The first experience involved a threat from a volunteer to break my leg if I stepped on the dogs tail, which I was not even near that dog. The next experience involves subtle scolding for opening a dogs door with no sign saying you could not open the door. Lastly, a dog brought a toy up to me, so I grabbed the toy and let the dog chew on the toy while I was holding it. A volunteer ran up to me and started yelling at me and saying that it was not acceptable to be doing that as the dog already had too much energy, and that I needed a pass to play with a dog. She abruptly closed the dogs door, and started talking to another volunteer about how unacceptable that was. I was thinking about volunteering here since I visit so often, but I want absolutely nothing to do with this organization after this happened. I also was thinking about adopting a dog from this shelter at some point, but I will not be doing that either.
