I went there looking for a cat, I asked a women to help me and I explained that I do have a dog (very calm and well behaved, who loves cats) the employee had an attitude but still showed us a few cats. I asked to meet the one we were interested in, keep in mind it was one of the ones that she showed us, AFTER her knowledge of my dog, she then decided to change her mind and tell us that no cat would be a right fit, just because I have a dog and to wait for kittens to come in. Which I understand, I also understand waiting due to the cat being under the weather. BUT THERE WAS NO NEED FOR THE ATTITUDE. Also, before this as soon as I walked into the store they were all being rude to people, a different employee found out I was looking for a cat and said “Is this an emotional support animal type thing or something?” Which it was not I was just looking for a pet, but even if it was, there was no need for the attitude and judgement. I would not recommend going to this place unless you have zero animals and are not in the market for a ESA apparently…
Me and my boyfriend recently adopted a cat here. the volunteers here are truly amazing and i love how tabby town isn’t like most shelters and let their kitties roam around the shelter as they please. we adopted a cat who is FIV+ and they were beyond amazing about giving us information about FIV! the owner is also very friendly and very sweet and was so excited about us adopting our cat! definitely will recommend this shelter to anyone who is interested in adopting a cat.
Called asking if their agency knew of any local resources for rehoming or fostering and the woman was extremely rude and unhelpful. I ended up hanging up on her after having to speak over her to defend myself. Treated me like I was a problem for even calling.
Ive been here a few times looking for a fur baby for my son. The owner Cheryl is very nice and super helpful, trying to match kitties with perspective owners. She is very dedicated to these animals. This is by far the best shelter I have been to. The cats have their own little areas, theyre happy and cozy. They let them out to play and their store is designed for their comfort. The kitties Ive seen are well cared for and happy, and sweet. The shyer cats even have their own area in the back of the store. Love visiting here. They sell little knick knacks for pets in their shop as well which help the shelter pay for their pets.
What a wonderful place! Carol matched me with the perfect feline companion. We have bonded over the last couple days and she says my training is coming along nicely!😼😄
Wonderful and kind people doing a great service for our furry little friends. Very helpful and knowledgeable about cats. Lots of adorable cats about ready and waiting for their forever homes. Lots of way to donate to help out the cause, from car washes at Delta Sonic to prize basket raffles including a chance to win a 4k TV (a decent Samsung model at that.) Pay them a visit and maybe adopt a new friend.
We adopted one of our babies here and she is settling in really well with our other cat.
I love felines and have tremendous success here. The kittens ( and adults) have the marketing plan down like they have been studying for a long time. The humans are not too sure about the plan and get mixed up. That do their best to prevent adoptions. Stick with kittens for a good outcome
Kind and friendly staff. You can tell they care deeply about the cats they care for.
We adopted two kittens from Tabby Town a few weeks ago and had a wonderful experience. The staff was kind and helpful and you could tell the animals are loved there. We adore our boys and are so grateful to the rescue. If you are looking for a cat or kitten you should definitely stop by and see them!
When I visit Tabby Town, the staff are relatively friendly. But they arent the stars of the show. The cats and kittens steal the spotlight. Since I work in the mall Ill stop in during their business hours on my breaks, to pet some sweet cats. And usually, it makes my day better. What I love about the way they run business, is how if you dont have the ability to take in a cat, you can donate to help them help more cats. If you are strictly a cat person, this place will definitely have you in kitty heaven. I love petting the cats and offering as much affection as possible. Its nice to see a business outside of the SPCA thats no kill, and really cares about the well-being of furry friends. If you are thinking about stopping in, just do it. I promise you will love it.
Great place to get a cat or to volunteer to help take care of them or just spend time with them and give them love and attention 😊
My 2-year-old daughter wanted to visit the kitties, and Nancy (one of the volunteers) was an absolute sweetheart and treated our family so kindly. She found a cat who loved children and opened the cage for my daughter to spend some time with him. The adoption center was the cleanest I’ve ever seen and the kitties were so well taken care of. You can tell the volunteers really enjoyed helping animals and being there in general. We already have two cats, but definitely recommend Tabby Town for anyone looking to adopt a kitty. Thank you for a great experience!
Tabby Town is the best! Facility is stellar with large roomy cages, cleanliness, meet and greet room for potential adoptions, communication, and friendly staff! We adopted a kitten and are so pleased with every step weve taken thru TT rescue!
EVERY VOLUNTEER there is VERY rude and judgemental. I went to the SPCA instead. Edit: so Im definitely not the only one, others have said the employees are very judgmental based on appearances, so a bunch of old white ladies will take one look at you and if they dont like how you look, theyll give you a runaround. I was asked 4xs why I came. Everytime I replied, to adopt a cat, Im looking for a mellow maybe an older cat to which I was accused of animal abuse. The lady literally told me, well you sound like one of those people who gets upset with their cat and puts it outside. Like what? And then some person on here replied that they reserve the right to pick and choose who adopts the cats. Just go to the spca, theyll run your info through a data base to make sure youre ok to have a cat and theyre so friendly. These people at tabby town are very proud of their rights to be ignorant and judgemental. Those poor cats. If you go and actually read the reviews, there are MANY others that feel this way. I cant be wrong if theres 7+ people saying the exact same thing...
They’re racist and they don’t allow poc ( people of color ) in the store to get a designated cat for themselves. the reason why i say this because RIGHT NOW me & my dad were looking for a second cat , mind you we’ve been to this cat adoption center and many others multiple times because we couldn’t find a perfect cat that we like right , so the people recognized us and told us we aren’t allowed to come there anymore bc we just keep looking and not getting a cat. I’m certainly not going to get a cat that i don’t want ( obviously ) so i’m going to keep looking for cats that i would PERSONALLY want. You’re a cat adoption center why are you telling us we can’t come here anymore just because we’ve been here multiple times and not getting a cat that we want? You guys are a cat adoption center many people come and go to find the cats that are perfect to THEM. And when i told them why are you doing this they couldn’t give me a straight answer it was just all silent. I recommend people who are continuously looking for a cat please do not come here especially if you’re a person who is colored do not come here they are RACIST
Had a wonderful experience here. Me and my boyfriend walked in just planning on seeing what cats they had available when one of the women working came up to us and very warmly greeted us asking if we were finding any cats we liked.we explained that we have a 10 month old black cat and were just trying to find a buddy for her. Without skipping a beat this woman took us right to a cage with a small black cat named Florence who was also 10 months old. We asked to play with her and they gave us about 30 mins in the playroom to get to meet her. She was perfect. We left with her and are so thrilled. I’ll be recommending this place to all my friends who are looking to adopt!
They must update thier web site ...No stories to go with cats , no cost info ...
I came to tabby town on the recommendation of a lady I met while working who had just adopted a kitten. I meant to just stop by and have a look but instead I fell in love with just the kitty I had been looking for. Hes now home with us and Im so appreciative to the women who made it possible. Ill be recommending them to everyone. Thanks tabby town!!!
We love going here! I love that all the signs on the kitties cages have fun stuff, and what they like and dont like. Very specific! And my son LOVES going here! All the staff there are excellent as well! They are all so kind and informative! There are always a couple cats out walking around, and it is set up so wonderfully there! They also have a hand sanitizing station next to the entrance, which I am a big fan of! It is right next to an ice cream shop in the mall, so if you take your kids this summer, you can bring them for ice cream after :)
Weve always had a great experience with Tabby Town! The volunteers are friendly and take great care of the cats. They are committed to ensuring every cat gets adopted into a home that fits their personality and needs. If youre looking to adopt, I would highly recomend Tabby Town! 🐈
We searched and searched for a cat that would be a compliment to our dog. Rockford couldnt have been a better pick. This place and their staff are outstanding.
I just adopted Rossy and Rosa. I got in contact with Missy about getting a cat thats good with both cats and dogs, and she did wonderfully helping me. Ive always loved just going into tabby town to see the cats. They really have a lot, and you can tell all the volunteers care about the cats. Would definitely suggest going to them if youre looking for a cat!
There are cats everywhere!!! Some free roaming, some in cages. Great way to meet cats and get a feel for them and their personality. But be careful if you have little ones. Because not all the cats do well with children. The workers will give you a heads up if they do well with children or not. Overall a great place. Even to stop by and love on them and to make a donation
This place is a terrific place from which to adopt a kitten or cat. They truly care for the animals at the facility and in foster homes. All the volunteers are very helpful, friendly and quite knowledgeable about the animals in their care and cats in general. They truly want to help you finding a fur-ever friend that is a good fit for you and your home.
Tabby Town is my granddaughters favorite place to visit when were together. They Love all kitties and hope that I will find the right one. It doesnt smell!
Many cats. Some roam free. Volunteers are nice, have rooms and will let you have alone time with a specific kitty if you want. The workers care. The cats are well looked after. I suggest if you go in with very young children that you watch them carefully, as little kids dont realize some kitties may not want pets.
If I could this place -0 I would. My family an I went to the McKinley mall an were walking around when my 6 year old noticed this place. He is huge animal lover so we had to go take a look. Well he got very excited an was loud and jumping around. One of the workers asked for him to quiet down. We nicely explained to her that he is autistic an can’t control himself. He response was “well then he shouldn’t be in here an he needs to leave.” I’m truly sicken at the ignorance of this place. My son should not be shamed an told to leave somewhere when he did absolutely nothing wrong he was excited to see the cats. Another conworker made a comment as well saying we can’t tell he is, our response was it doesn’t matter she shouldn’t of responded the way she did. We will be contacting the mall itself an filing a complaint. As well as reaching out to the manager. I highly suggest no one go here, where children who have special needs are discriminated against an told to leave over being overly excited to see the kitties
Over the years iv adopted 4 cats from Tabby Town and donated over $400 and sponsored cats. In September 2019 I was going back to Tabby Town to look for a nice senior cat and as of lately they have become very ignorant to me and my Wife. I dont think they like having people in there just to look and meet some beautiful cats aka window shopping. We ending up finding a nice senior cat at Tabby Town but because of there ignorant customer service I adopted a very sweat senior cat from SPCA of West Seneca. I understand you have a lot of cats there and there is a lot of responsibility but I have given Tabby Town my service over and over again and I dont appreciate being disrespected. They have officially lost me as a customer and and supporter. FYI learn. To deal with stress. BTW the last time we were in there we were told to leave because they were looking for a lost kitten.
I adopted a cat from here a few years back. Hes a great cat very happy I adopted him. However I walked into Tabby Town last Monday Jan 15 in the morning and my son and I were completely ignored!! We walked around and looked at the cats and the 2 employees didnt even acknowledge us. Thats really too bad for them because I was going to buy some tickets for their Chinese Auction. A simle and Hello can go a long way. I guess Tabby Town doesnt need my money because they sure act like they dont. Update - I went in there today March 30 and again no one said anything to me!! Im glad to see that they are working hard to adopt out their cats!!
Amazing place and the owner is super friendly and knowledgeable. Love how the cats get to roam around and play so they are not always sitting in a cage. These people have such a heart to help these animals. Keep up the great work
They had a nice selection of kittens and cats for adoption. All nice housing for them, visiting rooms to see if theyre the right pet for you and a large variety of gift items for purchase!
I moved from home in PA. When I was settled I decided to get a cat, Ive only adopted 2 animals in my life, but I knew I wanted a hard case, one that probably doesnt have much hope of adoption. I got a 2 year old, at first she was called step kitty because she wouldnt get off the stairs, then she went to bathroom kitty, closet kitty, behind the sugar glider cage kitty, and finally after 4 months she started coming around. Of course she is still skittish but she loves the family, and she loves her home. She now lets you hold her, she would only let you pet her for the longest time. I love animals that take work to love and trust you, because when you spend enough time (and have enough patience) its so much more rewarded knowing that you saved the cat in more ways then just adopting a kitten that had a million people looking for it, but a cat that was stranded for some reason and doesnt have a home to show it how to love and trust again. Ive had the cat for 10 months and she was worth so much more then what I paid. Even though it took months of trying and even though shes great around all the family members you can tell who she adores the most 😙 but god does she leave tumble weeds of her hair everywhere she lays!
I am surrendering a local stray from my neighborhood. So excited to know that hell be well taken care of. Thanks to the help of a neighbor from the Neighborhood app he should have a wonderful new year in a safe new home.
Really cute cat adoption center and pretty clean for the most part. I honestly cannot get over the smell in there, I’ve been in a lot of shelters and this one happens to smell like a litter box most the time. I had also inquired about a cat once last year, it happened to be special needs and one of the volunteers shut me down before even giving me a chance to ask more about it...
I have a sweet little cat that has taken up residence in my garage. We cant keep him because of severe allergies. Called for help. No room. Just buy an outdoor cat house for him. We live in Buffalo. What happens to him in the winter!!!?No help at all. They didnt seem like compassionate people
Missy was extremely helpful in answering all of my cat related questions and helping me find the perfect cat to make my dream come true. So many sweet and wonderful cats there. Definitely recommend adopting from Tabby Town!
The older lady who works or owns the shop questioned me and my friend who was really into a cat he wanted to adopt she gave us the dirtiest look and asked us unbeleivebly ubsurd questions and than tried to put word is out mouth saying we lived somewhere we clearly did not. The encounter so so unpresffesional and down right disgusting we left the store without the cat cc we did not want to give that company his money. I would stay away from this adoption clinic as it is THE WORST adoption clinic I have EVER SEEN
I GIVE THIS PLACE A -20!!!!!Very unprofessional! Very rude!!Horrible customer service!!!!I feel bad for cats, hope they find good homes quick.
I went their looking and totally ready to adopt a cat. When I walked in I met this older lady and she seemed to run the place. Anyways I liked alot of cats and everytime I asked about a cat she seemed like she didnt want to let it get a home. She would go on about their medical problems with I thought was bs because about every cat in their had something wrong with it. One of the employees even made a weirdo sign behind her. Implying she was nuts. I thaught so to I think she is a cat collector and thats her life. I feel sorry for them cats because as long as she is around none of them cats will never be adopted and live their whole life in a cage and never know love. It really makes my heart filled with sadness.
Cheryl and Missy were amazing today. We went on a Sunday morning without an appt. After very recently losing our furbaby, my husband made me. I was also was referred by a very good friend. We adopted 19 month old Omni..she is sleeping on my bed after an hour and a half. Thank you ladies at Tabby Town for my new furbaby and a full heart ❤️
I got my Cat Okonner around five years ago... he was a wonderful cat! All of the staff is great here and they are so kind and generous! They take care of the cats very well! Couldn’t recommend enough!
Always plenty of cats to visit. Nice place. Kid friendly and the volunteers are very knowledgeable. So many cats in one place they do their best to keep the smell from overpowering the public.
Love tabby town best place to go for cats, going here will always be good. All the money that is spent in there goes to the cats, even when the other cats get adopted the money goes to the cats left still and there food and needs. I would love to adopt from here.
Tabby town is a warm welcoming place staffed by nice people who truly love cats. Highly recommend them if you need a new feline friend.
I am a little disappointed. I went in and looked at the cats and I wanted to pet this one kitten and I asked the lady who was there. She was kinda rude. Her response was not unless you are interested in adopting the kitten then you can pet the kitten. I was kinda shocked she would say that. Maybe that’s your policy but you should really place that somewhere.
Very nice, everyone is very kind and understanding. They all have kittys too. 👍I asked a few questions and received answers rite that minute. Excellent!!!!
Wonderful experience!! The volunteers were so amazing and friendly! I was able to adopt the sweetest cat! Highly recommended coming here
Its been a while since I was there, but it was clean, friendly and the animals very well taken care of. I would recommend this center if youre looking to adopt a cat/kitten.
Amazing staff & lovely cats . This place does such an amazing job taking care of all of the felines. I found my amazing Furever buddy . His name is Zeke(formally Rezzie) I will definitely be going back to visit my amazing cats and bring another home .
The volunteers at Tabby Town are wonderful! They’re helpful and knowledgeable. Be sure to ask about all the cats for adoption that are in the back! They’re lovely, too, just not as social.
Very knowledgeable and super friendly and helpful staff. the place is extremely clean and they work very hard to keep the cats and kittens healthy and happy.
Thankful for Tabby Town and staff. Adopted Norman, a senior cat who is a complete love bug. We could not be happier. Thank you, 😼
Always busy, which is great for the kitties, but overwhelming for us. Cats seem to be happy and healthy! Pretty clean as well.
Cats. Cats everywhere. I love it there! I could sit in thete for hours!! uwu
Casual, no pressure. You can go in just to see the cats anytime. Friendly volunteers are there to help you get to know a particular cat if you want.
The smell is overwhelming! I found it hard to stay and look at the cats. The hygienic is sorely lacking.which is a shame because it could be a nice place
Not only do they have cats and kttens up for adoption, they also have cat related gifts!
Great place. Cats are well cared for and so loveable. We adopted 2, perfect kitties
The staff is so nice and they are so nice to the cats and kittens they treat them like family! I recommend going there if you love cats!
All of the above..the most caring compassionate owner and volunteers I have ever met. Thank you Cheryl and sweet hard working volunteers. ♡ Sherry Grand Island.
I love the fact that they give some of the cats free roaming time. Its so great to see they allow some freedom from the cages and special attention.
I absolutely love Tabby Town. The place is so clean which is important to me. Its clean and the cats are treated very well. As soon as you enter you are greeted esp by cats. I adopted my beautiful brown tiger tabby Pepititto. He is a absolutely beautiful loved boy. Do not hesitate to stop here. They are absolutely wonderful, kind, and caring people who do great work with the cats. I love this place. Thank you. ❤️
I was truly disappointed , because my friend who just lost a cat, was unable to adopt a kitten...But I also understand that it is a privately run adoption company. And its adoption process is extremely up to them. ..🙃
Adopted Dino the kitten- love @ first sight! They have a bunch of other sweeties looking for a home! From kittens to adults
HIGHLY recommend to look here 1st for cat adoptions. They are an amazing caring staff.
It was a super relief to have their help and care in saving this cat. They truly care.
Well kept. Very clean and they let the cats out to Rome around. The people that work there are very friendly and helpful.
Best cat rescue around. Wonderful and caring volunteers!
Workers are so friendly! Didnt adopt a.cat, just browsed. But everything is so nice here.
The some of the workers are very rude. Multiple instances of bad customer service even though I donate, adopt, and purchase things to help keep this place going. I dont go there any more.
Couldnt even stay 2 look at cats. The urine smell was burning my eyes. Cages looked fairly clean.
Such a great place to go if you are looking for a cat very clean place I go back as much as I can to see all the cats and put them .
Love this kitty store I go in there all the time and if u buy something the money helps out store and kitties.
Adorable kitties, great volunteers, one of the best places to give a cat a furrever home
Great and caring staff.
Best cat rescue Ive been to they really care about the cats and theyre very helpful
Adopted a cat from here, who we love dearly. But the amount of money we have had to shell out at the vet clinic in under a month has been overwhelming. Upper respiratory infection and worms. When we went to the emergency vet 3 separate times, each time they advised us that we need to stay away from Tabby Town due to all the cats there either being sick, or when they get looked at from the vet that they see it’s not an actual look at. They just say they have a clean bill of health but don’t. We thought we were adopting from a great place but we will never be adopting from them again. We will go to the SPCA, at least we know that they will come dewormed and get proper treatment.
The ladies at Tabby Town are awesome! I adopted 2 beautiful kitties.
Always love a local rescue and it helps the cats become better socialized for their new families
Great place to look for a new furry friend! Staff is nice to chat with and it shows how much they care.
They gave me a sick cat then got all 4 of our other cats sick and the workers here were no help and we’re not very nice
Everyone was very kind and helpful. Well kept and very kitty friendly.
I have dealt with Tabby Town before. They are Awesome
I have an unhealthy obsession with this rescue. I make multiple gmail accounts to put up negative reviews. I’ve done it to multiple businesses
Had a long conversation with young lady in the morning. Took all our info and PROMISED we would get a call by noon or so. NE ER BOTHERED TO RETURN OUR CALL AND NEVER ANSWERED PHONE . NOT NICE PEOPLE. THEY LIE!!!!!!
Have the best cat toys. A real cat place.. they care about the animals here. Adopt
Looking to adopt, just lost my 2 12 yr old kitties🥺
Caring personnel, great adoption center to find cats to adopt, lots of gift ideas for cat lovers.
Its nice
Many cats in stock, all NY legal (didnt see a Bengal), kittens were quality
Awesome cat adoption! Well cared for cats and great staff.
Awesome staff , love this place
Clean adoption center with adorable cats ready to go home with you today.
I wasn’t sure what to expect when I first went to Tabby Town but I was able to find an amazing business that cares about cats and what is best for them. I found an amazing cat with a quick and smooth process thanks to the owner Cheryl. Very responsive in the adoption process, great space to meet cats and spend time with them. Besides the owner being super helpful and kind, all of the staff is beyond amazing. If you are looking to seriously adopt at a place where you don’t feel rushed by customers or staff around you I highly suggest Tabby Town.
I love Tabby Town! I cant say enough great things about this place. Any time I travel stateside I try to include this as a pit stop. Ignore any low star reviews regarding cleanliness - Ive visited this location frequently throughout the years and the place is always as clean as can be; from store floors to cages to product displays and shelving. Pretty impressive especially considering the fact that they let most (if not all) of the cats out of their cages at night. It warms my heart to see a place like Tabby Town succeed so well. The volunteers are so friendly. So dedicated and compassionate. So knowledgeable. They care about every single animal that comes through, and have fair policies enforced that prevent just anyone adopting an animal. We adopted one ourselves (Carmen, if anyone remembers her!)..anyways - I am always thankful for Tabby Towns hard work and dedication (especially through social media).Keep up the great work! :)
Very rude volunteer. We will adopt a cat elsewhere.
What a wonderful place. Great volunteers.
Doing great work for the cats of buffalo and surrounding areas
Got 4 kitties homes that didnt have any
Huge selection of wonderful cats looking for their forever home.
This is a great place to experience interaction with cats. Very well cared for and happy cats of all personalities. Great staff too. Thank you.
Awesome, they take such good care of the fur babies here.
Great place, beautiful cats and kittens waiting for their forever home.
Was a nice place to visit. The staff was very helpful
My husband and I had Tabby Town come and get our little black kitten now knowen as little Diggs and are very pleased with all they do to help all these cats and kittens find wonderful homes.
Absolutely wonderful place! Tabby Town gave us our sweet Jamison in 09/18, and we couldn’t imagine life without him now. Tabby town truly cares about their kitties. They won’t turn one away, and their staff are all devoted and loving.
Its sad to see cats in captivity but Tabby Town treats them well.
Stop in and meet the adorable cats up for adoption.
Beautiful cats ,hopefully they all get their homes.
The members of the staff are so wonderful. They found the most wonderful cat for me. They gave me a bag of food, and some toys too. I purchased a beautiful carrier to take my cat home for a reasonable price too. They also let me choose a small blanket to put in the carrier without cost. If I had a million dollars I would give it to them to support their mission. The place is very clean and you can tell the kitties feel loved!
Turned from an adoption center almost into a rescue. The owner is an amazing woman, and so is the entire staff. Great organization. Highly recommend to adopt your new cat friend from here!
Great facility for cats..nice place to visit
Always has adorable kittens in need of families. the facilities are relatively clean. It smells exactly like you would expect a small store front housing 10-15 cats at any given time to smell like. However having their facility set up the way they do allows space for the cats to wander and spend their time as they wish.
Please gove them your money these cats are so precious
This shelter is great!! you can tell they really care for their animals. all of the cats are well fed, healthy looking, and super friendly. i love how they let some of the cats out, so they’re not trapped in their cages 24/7.
The people that volunteer there are fantastic. So many wonderful cats and kittens at Tabby Town. I wish I could take them all home!
I love cats. The people working here will answer all your questions.
Friendly staff good place to get a new fur baby.
Wonderful staff, lovely cats, and a warm atmosphere.
Real nice place, they are doing a great service there.
Always a great experience at this location. Its a bit of a drive from home, but the customer service is worth it, unlike the location closer to me. Ill always be a customer!
This is a wonderful place w/ very helpful an caring employees. Its always clean and the kitties r really well cared for.
The cats here are so sweet! I adore all of them and their caretakers are wonderful as well. Its very clean and organized!
So many awesome kitties. Have 2 already though.
Kind and reasonable with adoption process.
I always go here with my little one to look and give the cats love. Everyone is very nice. Only bad thing is, I fall in love with the cats and want them all
This such a wonderful place. It is great how much they care for the cats.
Today, I read a heartbreaking story about a lady who thought she had lost her cat. Months later, she hears from a neighbor that her baby is ok, but was surrendered to Tabby Town. After working hard and even selling her old car, she found out that her furball was adopted out instead of held. How disappointing is this? Im just hoping they have some insight to this story, because I know there are quite a few people who are upset about this. The mothers name is Samantha Koch.Thank you.
Always a pleasure coming here to see the cats for Adoption. I wish take them all home!
Great place to adopt a kitty. Nice gifts too.
What a great organization. Cheryl is awesome
