Dog Park at Heritage Park

My pup loves it here. 98% of the time its got good dogs and good company. Only downfall is the small amount of shattered glass Ive found (from inappropriate use after hours), and poo piles from people who dont utilize the FREE waste bags to pick up after their pups. There is a tunnel and other things for dogs to play in, and overall its the best one around. We make friends and have fun here. Most owners leave when their dogs dont behave.Its hard to rate a dog park, there are so many factors and things to consider... but this one has my vote.

The fenced area is fairly good. There are some agility toys. No fountain, and gravel footing though.The larger area of the park is partially fenced and serves as a disc golf course. It was not busy, and I found some neighbors letting dogs chase squirrels in the woods.

We enjoy walking the dogs down here a lot! I just wish it wasn’t so buggy every time we’re here haha

Nice and quiet only complaint is the bugs at times. Nice park friendly dogs 😀😀

Great dog park. My pupper loves it. We discovered it a few.momths ago and come about once a week to let her run and play with other doggos.There are 2 febced in aread. A big dog side and. Sma dog side. Small dog side has less area but more grass. Big dog side has a tube, ramp and hurdle for the dogs.So far all other dogs on the big dog side have been friendly.

Not sure why this place has four stars. Unkept and a bit dirty. Especially when you consider it’s right next to a well kept field. Even if they aren’t kept up by the same people it’s just an eye sore in comparison. If you’re gonna have a fancy field for sports but then an ugly dog park, don’t make it so obvious that the dog park is not a priority. The little grass it had was overgrown but also had lot of bald spots. The big dog side is a bit better than the small dog area but not by much.

Was here for first time on a Sunday. Our puppy had a great time. There was one dog to play with and they had a great time. Got to remember to bring some water for the dogs though. They just ate some snow😜

One side is all gravel. Dogs dont want to play in rocks.

I live near this park. Its small but convenient. Sadly, most people dont obey leash law outside the park which contributes to fence aggression for all those who live bordering the park.

Nice and quiet park. Would only complain about the gravel footing on the larger side.
