Well Jamie, here’s the honest, one star review you asked me not to post. I think it’s the only way that I can get an apology from you at this point. It is very apparent that what you did to my dog yesterday has happened to other owner’s animals as well. How you treated me and my dog yesterday was horrifying and unfair. The fact that you charged me $108 after doing this to my dog is grotesque. As a business owner, you did not do what is right in any way. To first not let me know over the phone what you did to Lilly when you called to let me know you were done grooming my dogs is wrong. Then, I arrived and I knew something was wrong by the way you wouldn’t come out for about 5 or so minutes. You came storming out and the first words out of your mouth were my dog moves too much and you cut her with scissors. Every time I expressed any concern about the issue, you shut me down. You told me she would be fine and don’t put her on the ground for 5 minutes. I said I think I needed to take her to the vet because she was clearly injured severely and bleeding and you told me “if I’m rich” I should take her to the vet. What is that? Why do you talk to your customers as if they’re losers when we are the ones funding your business? Every slight panicked word I said resulted in you becoming argumentative with me. Then you charge me $108? After you butchered her? But oh, I should also add that you told me BEFORE I LEAVE A NEGATIVE REVIEW OF YOUR BUSINESS, let’s talk about the issue here and now. Okay, how does someone talk to you and have a conversation when you are beyond argumentative? You made me so uncomfortable. I’d like to let you know also if I did not trust my instincts and go to the pharmacy and buy necessary first aid materials to care for my dog, she would’ve continued bleeding out and would’ve gotten all kinds of debris in the open wound you left her with. You lied to me. What was done to my dog was clearly not done with scissors, you dug her skin out. And also why would you have scissors anywhere near the pad of Lilly’s foot?! I trusted you with my dogs and you hurt her. It is unfair. The only reason I am posting this is because I want my story shared of what was done to my dog. My dogs have been groomed for years and have never had issues like this, not ever. She is traumatized and is barely getting around and can’t even go outside to the bathroom without help. I hope that if you continue in this business that you never do this again to someone’s beloved pet.

I have a large elderly long haired dog. They take great care of her by letting her rest as needed during grooming. She looks great. Follow-up: the same dog needed an emergency bath because of a sore area under her collar. They very kindly squeezed her in. Very grateful.

This is how the cat grooming service done. Really bad, refused to admit that the nail was broken by them, only said that because the nail was too thick or something the nail would just miraculously be chipped by itself.Disappointed, very. My friend was fooled by all the nice things the owner said, even tried to let it go. But no, when she told us about this, we decided that we are all going to come and let everyone know. It’s not something that they should get away with it. A cat doesn’t speak, so we speak for him.

I brought my 2 MaineCoons to Pet Style and couldn’t be more pleased! The customer service was excellent and my babies were treated with care. They both got their first lion cuts and were the most a funny looking yet adorable and sweet babies ever! Most of all, my babies were given to me relaxed, calm and smelling like roses! I highly recommend Pet Style!! 👍🏾❤️

Friendly people and great customer service. Fair pricing. Also, they were very kind and gentle to my dog who is iffy about nail trims and blow dryers. After his appointment, he was the softest Ive ever felt him be. Highly recommend!

We love pet style! You can tell the owners are animal lovers and genuinely care about the well being of your furbabies. Our dogs always come home smelling amazing and they are the only place able to get their nails done. We highly recommend them to all of a dog parent friends for grooming services. Absolute Miracle Worker ❤️. I have a 25 LB Mini Golden Doodle and my poor girl had many mats deep in her fur. I was told by another grooming place the only option was to get her completely shaved. Desperate for a second opinion we brought her here and they worked their magic. I’ve never seen my puppy so happy after a grooming and she has never looked so good. Fully recommend to anyone! Thank for the help 🙂

Jamie and her husband are amazing! Gave us options on how to groom our cat ( it was her first time getting groomed) and our dog was a little nervous at first. Her husband sat on the floor with her until she was comfortable to go in with him. When my boyfriend picked them up, she was giving him so many kisses. They did a great job, our babies look wonderful! Will be coming back again next time!

I started bringing my dog here because it was affordable, and Ive continued bringing him here because of the amazing service Jamie Lee & her staff provide to EVERY dog that walks through their doors. They treat them just how theyd treat their own dogs.A quick anecdote: My dog is nervous about having his nails trimmed after some bad experiences at other groomers. I brought him to Pet Style for a trim (only $5!), and I waited up front while they did them. I could hear him crying from where I was standing, but I could also hear the gentleman clipping his nails calming him as best he could: telling him what a good boy he was, counting down the number of toes left, and telling him it was okay. It was really nice knowing that the staff are just as friendly and caring for your pet behind closed doors as when you drop them off.

Only place I will take my dog. They do an amazing job on my Yorkie poo. My little guy comes back happy and looking so handsome. Jamie and Jim are the best. Most of my family takes their animals here and have had the best experience. If you want the best groomer in the Syracuse are, this is the place to go.

Amazing atmosphere & incredibly friendly owners/staff! Today my cat who I got about 2 weeks ago got blue pen ink all over his paws and chest, I was worried he was going to get sick licking it off since I couldnt get much out myself, so I called 6 places (vets and PetSmarts) who all told me they couldnt help!? My last try was calling Pet Style who let me come in right away even though he hasnt got any of his shots yet (scheduled for next week). I was in and out in less than an hour, with a clean, dry cat with clipped nails, and cleaned ears for an extremely reasonable price!! They also told me the products they used, and said they take notes about what the animals do/dont like so they know for next time! I am so happy I took my fur baby there, definitely going back and I highly recommend you take your pets here!

We recently found ourselves watch my mother in laws dog due to her falling ill. The dog needed a long overdue hair cut and nail trim. I wasnt sure where to go, so I Googled- pet grooming - of course the big boxes can up, but I was looking for someone local. I found Pet Style. I emailed them and received a response quickly. I called the next day for an appointment. When we arrived, we were greeted with a very friendly owner, Jaime, she made you feel as if you were talking with a friend and immediately connected with MOZART! Thank you for making this a pleasant experience. If there were 10🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟, you would have them!!!!!Thank you! HAPPY NEW YEAR!

I dropped my pup off to be groomed and when I got there to pick her up the head groomer cut the tip of her tongue off! There was blood everywhere. I understand people make mistakes but its how you handle them after you make them. They never even called to see if she was okay after. I had to go to the emergency vet. I would find another groomer and save yourself the trouble. I would have understood if they acted liked they cared and not just another number for them to make money.Dont act like you reached out once, no calls or voice messages. And oh yes blame it on the 5 pound dog! And you call yourself a groomer. If you felt you couldnt work with her you should have said that when I called to schedule the groom. And as to timeline Ive been meaning to write this review just been backed up working to pay off the vet bills!

Not the best place to groom a cat I can tell you. Took our cat in for a grooming service because he refused to be washed at home.Then we came home to find two bleeding nails. (The owner told me he was behaving well, I don’t know how, might have been numbed from the pain that he experienced.)Took him back into the shop, only to get the owner to tell us that “the cat does hurt, he should be fine. Don’t worry about it.” I was obviously tricked by her niceness and went home trusting her. It’s not what it is, a cat should not have a bleeding nail with that amount of money paid. People don’t pay for grooming services to have bleeding nails for their cats, now do they?

I bring my Shepherd there who I call a baby gator. She likes to roll and misbehave when You’re trying to clip her nails, put on a collar or do something new with her. Pet Style groomed her and she LOVES them!!! I love them too as I’m vacuuming much less and my baby smells so good!!!

Love that they have $5 nail trims for dogs since everywhere else is 15+ just for a simple clipping. I also have had my jack russell groomed here once. The cut was good for the price.

First time with my puppy, great experience and my girl looked amazing! They actually found a lump that turned out to be cancerous,they may have saved her life! I definitely recommend.

Jim asks what you would like your best friend to look like when you pick him up and he delivers! Super friendly, well priced! Highly recommend giving him a shot with your best friend.

We have been brining our dog Marshmallow to Pet Style for a while now. The owner is professional, attentive and responsive. This is the best grooming experience we have had. I highly recommend this business to a anyone in need of pet grooming.

There won’t have a cat broken the nail on its own like that, and the store denies doing anything wrong and repeatedly shirks responsibility. Even the most basic manicure in a professional pet grooming shop cant do it well. Is there any customers can trust you and give their pet to you? Please note that all pets are their family, not the guinea pigs you provide to interns.The attitude of the store made us feel disappointed and angry.

I felt very comfortable with Jamie Lee. She explained everything ahead of time and gave me several options. She wanted to make sure we were making an informed decision... And our Mia came out looking ready for the Westminster Dog Show!

Our cat, Rosie was boarded at Pet Style for a week. They took such great care of her!! I highly recommend!!

Wow! What an amazing job by Jamie and her husband! Simba can be a handful to say the least but they really know what theyre doing, take you step by step in their grooming process and dont miss a beat. Very professional, courteous and thorough. I WAS going to book a appointment here due to all the good reviews. however, when i called, the person answering the phone had a horrible attitude, they were huffy and irritated that i had even called. i tried to book 2 dogs and the loud sigh i got in return followed by the normal questions of what type of dog they are etc made me change my mind. in the background there was a lot of yelling, what sounded like groomers yelling at other groomers to work with a dog.i then read a prior review where someones dogs tongue got cut off and the response on here from the owner is entirely unprofessional. telling someone its THEIR dogs fault that it got its tongue cut because it needs to be calmer is WHOLLY wrong and extremely irresponsible. that told me that they do not have the necessary equipment to handle dogs properly, as no dog should have its face anywhere near a pair of sheers or snippers much less their tongue! even a simple face trim shouldnt cause this!from the horror review and the attitude i got on the phone i will not be using this groomer, really wanted too! but im just getting bad vibes all around from this location.

I came to Pet Style when Pet Smart left my dogs nails half done. Pet Style was very friendly and happy to complete my dogs nail. I will be taking my Geo to them for now on. They are very friendly and cost half the price.

I highly recommend Pet Style to anyone. I bring my cat to them. They do everything they can to make your pet as comfortable. The owner is an extremely talented groomer. They truly love animals and are passionate about what they do.

Amazing service my dogs love coming here. They are very Accommodating allow walk in for nail grills and easy to schedule appt. we bring our dogs in for the pitbull package.

They take good care of my pittie and love him. He goes to get his nails done every 6 weeks and they give him a bath to keep the stinky dog smell to a minimum

Terrible service. My friend took her cat there and they completely ruined her cat’s nails. The cat went home with bleeding paws. Tried to call again and the people there was giving the worst response and showed no apology. Never take your pet here for any service.

Its definitely affordable and the employees are kind and gentle with my 10yr old chiuahua mix that I bring in for nail trims and eat cleanings.

They do a really great job at building trust with the cats as soon as they come in and let the cat lead the appointment. They take as much time as they need with each cat and never rush. What a master at her craft! I got a cut and grooming for my moms cairn terrier as a surprise and she came out absolutely beautiful! I have not seen her true style and I am very happy! Very gentle with the animals. Very professional. And great price. Thank you we will be back!!!

I used this company twice and each time they showed up almost 2 hours late. No phone calls and no text to let me know they were running late. I decided to try one last try to see if they have improved. I texted to get an appointment. After I was confirmed I waited and no call or text. I called the primary number and left a message. I texted. No response returned. I texted again the next morning and nothing.It is truly a shame that they have lousy customer service . The groomers are highly skilled but apparently they don’t need the money. Instead I found another groomer Fancy Groomers who are more than willing to come out and do an amazing job. Pet style lost Fancy Groomers gain.

We needed to find a place to take our cat during the first few months things were shut down due to COVID. It is already hard to find places to trim cats claws prior to COVID. We found Pet Style on Google and they were taking appointments. They have good hours for people who work, they always have gotten us in when we call ahead, they are affordable and very timely. The location also works well for us. Definitely give them try. We are regulars there now.

I have had used many many groomers in my time. My dogs have very distinct personalities and that makes it hard to find people to trust. Been lied to about how they were treated, had them muzzled when told they were for feet work only. The one groomer we used in the past, has gone on to learn and grow in the field of grooming.Recently took my dogs to someone only to find out when I got there, he was cut. It happens, I get it, just have a bit more compassion.Pet styles, has taken on my crew. Jamie and her husband were told when I met them, that I had problem furry children. They both are very kind and upfront with me about everything. The good and everything that comes with grooming dogs. I trust them. I have no problems telling them if I have a concern. The dogs have gone there a couple times now, and they come out happy, smelling great, and looking great as well. Thank you to the owners for all they have done. You have a comfortable atmosphere for pets and pet owners. Keep it up. Going to continue to bring them there. Very clean, professional and great full environment .

Brought my cat to take a shower, came back with multiple broken nails, bleeding.Sure, I would like to see the camera footage. We all know who’s lying here, I don’t have a reason to write this review if it was a good experience for my cat. You said he’s not going to hurt it’s no big deal, but he is bleeding and not able to walk.You have never said a sorry to us at all, all I heard is “oh it’s normal, it’s fine, don’t worry.” Seems like you have no responsibility for his injuries!

I have a Persian cat who doesn’t let me brush him often, and ends up looking like one giant dreadlock. Thanks to Jamie Lee and her husband, my cat no longer has a turtle shell on his back and looks about a million times better. They were extremely gentle and were unbelievably accomadating for my little dude. I will definitely be bringing him back for more grooming!
