Petco Grooming

My dog is very difficult. She is a rescue dog and it took two years until she accepted us. We cannot groom or trim her nails but the groomer at PET SMART has absolutly no problem. He converses with her and she is very calm. We could not be happier.

For years I took my dog to an independent dog groomer, never really happy w/ the outcome for something I was paying a small fortune for. Then we try PETCO, they were amazing. So kind and gentle w/ my high anxiety, senior citizen dog and very knowledgeable about the type of cut for the type of dog. I know my dog is safe at PETCO and you cannot put a price on that. Thank you Jay, you are the best! Everyone my dog and I have come in contact with at PETCO has been wonderful.

My dog came back fully dry and smelled great! i’m giving a poor review because her nails weren’t clipped. i didn’t realize until we got home and heard her usual clicking as she walked. i inspected and none of them were touched… if there was an issue with getting them clipped then i should’ve been notified about that at pickup :/

Sarah is great. She’s been grooming both of my dogs for years, since she’s been employed. Only person I let touch my babies. She’s always prompt, on time, and works very hard. Even when grooming is short staffed and she’s the only groomer, Sarah always have a great attitude and never lacks her professionalism and job. She definitely deserves a raise and recognition. Chase and Zara loves to see Ms. Sarah every 6-8 weeks!

I bring both my dogs once a month to Sara in grooming. They and I both love her!! My 6 year old Has been seeing Sara every month since she was 3 months old. She gets so excited when she sees her. She is patient and thorough and truly happy to work with the dogs. I hope she never leaves. She is the reason we come to Petco every month and belong to vital care. I can’t say enough about how valuable she is to have as your employee.

If you have a dog who has many maintenance needs for grooming like we do, you understand how important it is to find someone you trust. We have taken our 1 year old Golden doodle to Petco grooming a few times now after another doodle owner recommended themI cannot speak highly enough about our groomer- Sarah is absolutely wonderful. Not only does she take time to explain things (about how to prevent matting , brushing and bathing), she shows such love and care with our dog.On our most recent visit, we were nervous heading in because we had a horrific grooming experience with a different grooming business in the area when Petco was close due to COVID shut down. The other business had injured our dog’s ears and it required many visits to the vet . When I went in to make an appointment with Petco a few weeks ago I brought my dog with me. I spoke with Sarah and she sat and snuggled our dog for 10 minutes while I shared about our experience with another grooming service. You can tell Sarah genuinely loves and cares about the animals she works with. When we arrived for our appointment, she gave our dog such a warm , amazing treatment! He loves spending time with her and she makes grooming a great experience for him. She also made recommendations for when we need to bring him in next, and the best type of brush for his longer fur, to make sure he is well taken care of. She is truly amazing, and I have already recommended her to friends.Thank you Sarah!

We worked with Sarah who was phenomenal with our big guy! I was a bit nervous bc this was his first groom and he’s about 55lbs. She did a wonderful job and told me exactly how he did. Thank you so much Sarah!

Stopped in to get my dogs nails trimmed with no appointment. They took care of it right away.My dog is 115lbs and gets scared in these situations. They took their time and her treated her great.

Dog was calm upon pickup and she looks lovely and smells wonderful. Staff was very professional and caring.

All of their freshwater and saltwater fish are constantly sick with ick (white spots)and they do not take care of it which is annoying when there is no return on saltwater fish and will not give a discount for you to try to help the sick fish do not recommend for getting your fish

SARA IS THE BEST VERY GENTLE AND KIND PERSON WHO TAKES THE TIME TO TRULY UNDERSTAND YOUR PETS. I TRULY APPRECIATE HER ALSO NYLA AND MIGOS TOO :) SHE TRULY DESERVES A RAISE!!!

The staff always makes me feel so comfortable leaving my dog with them. They remember him, even when its been a little longer than it should be in between visits. He loves seeing them and doesnt freak out when I leave! They always do a great job!

Groomer was attentive to my needs and my dogs needs......pleasure to talk with her......and dog came home looking very cute and much happier than when he went in!
