I am so grateful for Ramella, she has significantly improved our quality of life and my dog absolutely loves her. Ramella is not just a kind and non-aversive dog trainer, she’s a dog interpreter who is literally always available for helpful tips and advice. Dogs want to be heard and understood like the rest of us and Ramella truly helps us tend to their needs, while communicating our own back to them. She has great ideas on how to connect, have fun, get exercise, mitigate unwanted behaviors, and anything else you can think of. After meeting Ramella I realized every dog owner should check in and have a session at least periodically to give you and your dog the most fun, healthy, & loving relationship possible!

Ramella’s training has done wonders for us as a family. She presented us with practical solutions for everything we were having issues with. We’re excited to have the opportunity to give our pup the best life possible with the methods Ramella taught us.

After we adopted him, we saw some behavior that needed attention. After speaking to Ramella, we knew that she was the right trainer. She offers practical training advice and tools. I have known Ramella for 10 years and she has worked with all three of my dogs and most recently a fourth puppy that was added to the pack. She is hands down the best Trainor for all life stages but that is just beginning of what Ramella does. Some people get a pup home and really dont know how to properly manage their time, feeding, play and training but mostly some of us dont know the proper ways to cultivate and nurture an amazing relationship with our furbabies. It comes so naturally to Ramella and she will help you take the bond you have with your furbaby to the next level! She truly understands what animals need, what they are saying and what they are showing you with their body language. Of course she does all the basic obedience but her talents go so far beyond that. She has helped acclimate my pack to one another and most recently to the newest edition. If you are lucky enough to live in her pick up/drop off area I strongly suggest you try her daycare where she will take them on a hike in addition to being socialized. I found her in home training hands over paws above the others! Ramella takes the time and works with you observing necessary corrections until you get it right. I remember she used to park across the street and observe me as I would walk Benjamin (my lab) in order to see how well I was doing with him in between our sessions. Our dogs are companions...they are family and they want to please us! Ramella will meet you where you are at both mentally and physically and help you form the bond of a lifetime with your babies. I would give her 10 stars if I could. The service she provides is just not offered by most. Try her and you will understand what I mean and your family and furbabies will be forever grateful you did!

Ramella is incredible! Her exceptional knowledge about dogs, deep understanding that all dogs are different and require different types of training and genuine care about you and your dog is unparalleled. Whether it was crate training tips, sleeping advice, or biting and nipping solutions, Ramella was there every step of the way. My puppy and I couldn’t have been in better hands! I couldn’t recommend her enough.

Ramella came to my home and worked with me and my miniature pinscher Monty. I realized the biggest issue with my dog was me! She helped me figure out how I can do better so that he will behave better. She individualized what we needed and it wasn’t a one size fits all type of approach. She knew my breed of dog was anxious, nervous and had lots of energy. Now I know how to channel it and he seems so much calmer and happier. I also feel much more confident in what I’m doing with him. We had a wonderful meeting with Ramella today. She spent 2 1/2 hours with our family and our dog. She had so many solutions, suggestions, and actions for us to use with her. She taught us that our dog and her behavior can not be changed, but they can be managed. She gave us so much insight into our dog’s behavior and how we should interact with her. She took her time, really listened, and cared about our situation. We highly recommend her if you have difficulties with your dog.

My wife and I have recently adopted a new pitbull and Ramellas initial instructions and guidance have been a game changer! Its been remarkable to see how well our pup is adapting to a new home and Ramellas training tools have made my wife and I feel incredibly confident in bringing him into our home and providing him with a safe, happy and clear-boundaried home!Would absolutely recommend Ramella for anyone looking for a dog trainer or anyone looking to gain some confidence in becoming a dog owner!

Ramella is amazing! We had a 2h session with her that was incredibly educational. As first time dog owners, we wanted to make sure we had the right tools to raise our puppy right. Ramella helped us understand what’s best for our dog based on her temperament, as well as her breed. I’ve already referred her to a friend who have a very positive experience, and will continue to do so. She’s available and understanding. We look forward to our next session in a few months when our puppy is older!

Learning from Ramella has been an absolute game changer in training my puppy (a shiba inu)! If I could give her a 20 star review, I would. She is incredibly knowledgeable about many breeds and how training and communication differs based on the breed and the owners personalities. She works with you to talk through a variety of scenarios that come up in daily life as well as teaches you the overall psychology of the dog and the relationship with the owner, so you have a good foundational framework as well as practical exercises to incorporate into your routine and daily life. Ramella also suggests a variety of options for training and exercise and engaging with your dog, again, based on the breed, how she sees your dog behaving, and how you interact with your dog. And this was all in just the first session! She is incredibly thorough and meticulous about reviewing information. As a first time dog owner, she helped provide clarity into a chaotic process and structure and tools to move forward in a positive way. I honestly couldnt recommend her more and cannot wait until my next session with her!!

After just one orientation session, Ramella helped set up a structure and flow for our new puppy that have been tremendously helpful in getting him adjusted. We are grateful for her friendliness, knowledge, and experience. Would recommend her services to any dog owners!

Hands down, Ramella is THE BEST. I called her after rescuing a 4 year old dog from a not so nice home. She was very afraid of certain people, in particular, the men in my house. She went after my father and bit him. She would growl and bark whenever he came around. After about 2 weeks, we were thinking we might have to give her back because we werent the proper fit. After meeting with Ramella two times, I can say that my father and my dog are now friends! We had to put in the work with a crate and a muzzle, which was new for us. But we stuck with it and the rehabiliation process has been simple. The change in our dog has been drastic. She is no longer afraid. I cannot thank Ramella enough!

My 11 month old Cavapoo was showing severe signs of aggression and tried to attack me one morning. I tried calling everywhere for a behaviorist, but Ramella was the one who luckily answered my call and came to my house that same morning. She settled my dog and told me what I needed to implement in order to change his behavior. I hadn’t set any boundaries with my dog previously and he thought he was boss. Within 12 to 24 hours, my Cavapoo was acting like a true, subservient companion again. I am so lucky and grateful to have found Ramella when I did. I now have the confidence and ability to manage my dogs behavior.

There are not enough words to express my gratitude for Ramella. Our little guy, Derby, was having a hard time with confidence and socialization resulting in a lot of barking and unwanted behaviors. We had Ramella come assess Derby, and knew right away we had to send him away for training with Ramella. She is so knowledgable, while being relatable, and also direct when needed! Sometimes as dog owners....we can all be a little biased. Ramella took Derby for 6 weeks, and returned our little guy as a confident and trained young man. She genuinely cared about Derby, and loved him as one of her own. She sent us pictures, texts and videos, which helped our lonely hearts while he was away! Ramella always answered all of our texts and calls. She answered any questions we had, while never making us feel inferior. When returning Derby, she shed tears and hugged him... and thanked US for sharing our little guy with her. Ramella, THANK YOU, for changing Derbys life and in turn changing ours. We will always be so incredibly thankful and grateful to you. Ramella is the real deal. Instantly after talking to her on the phone I felt relief that I had found the right person who would be able to help me and my little Pomeranian - it almost sounded too good that it would only take one (possibly two) visits. She came for an intensive session of a couple hours, was extremely thorough/hands on and overall a true expert in understanding the psyche of both owner and dog and mapping out the fundamental issues and clear action steps. Her approach is super unique and doesnt involve a single treat. She warned me it would not be easy (and it hasnt been!) but worth it. Kenny even after the first day showed big signs of improvements that were recognized by his walker, and anyone else close to him. Ramellas Canine Academy is an exceptional establishment for dog training and development. I have 2 Cavaliers (Luna- 15 months old and Zivah 9 months) both with totally different temperaments. With Ramella’s extensive knowledge and expertise in canine behavior, she provides top-notch training programs for my dogs especially for Zivah, who suffers from anxiety.Ramella was able to advise on how to work with the different temperaments and created a customized training program specifically tailored to address my dogs anxiety issues.What sets Ramella apart is her compassionate, patient and follow through approach to training. She took the time to get to know my dogs and understands the root causes of Zivah’s anxiety. She provided me with the tools and techniques to manage Zivah’s anxiety while also taking into account Luna’s calm temperament. It’s been 2 weeks and I have seen a significant improvement in Zivah’s overall temperament, demeanor and behavior already! Ramella and I have weekly check-ins to ensure the girls are on track and if there are any adjustments to be made with their training program.I cannot recommend Ramellas Canine Academy enough for anyone dealing with dogs with different temperaments or any dog who’s suffers from anxiety. As so many others have done, I adopted a dog during quarantine. Heart worm positive upon adoption, he was placed on strict crate rest during his treatment. Having to keep a hyperactive dog calm for four months was no easy task and so I immediately sought help to reinforce positive habits and help my dog better acclimate to living in the city. Ramella came to my apartment and introduced me to several types of training techniques. She kept every option available as she talked with me about what I would be comfortable with and I never felt rushed in the process. She was a clear communicator and made me feel reassured throughout the process. My dog loved her right away upon first impression and had a very positive experience. He used to be very reactive on the leash and pulled me whenever we went out for walks to the point that I dreaded at times needing to take him outside. But working with Ramella has given me (and my dog!) confidence when we are out and about. To my friends, I have described Ramella as a dog whisperer. I have had a wonderful experience and I would recommend her to anyone!

I feel very lucky to have found Ramella to train my 6 month old puppy. In our initial conversation she was upfront and clear about her process. Our first session lasted a few hours and we got so much from it. it was like taking a dog/puppy 101 class. It was incredibly valuable and weve begun to see positive momentum with our dog. In the initial conversation with Ramella she said that she would be, a resource to us during and after training. Several days after our first meeting I tested that and she was an incredible support and even met in person to ensure we were on the right path.
