Vivi Pet Care

Toulouse was here for a grooming session today. He received a sanitary trim & a bath. It’s always hard to find spots that accept cats and even harder if they have long hair. My boy looks amazing and he came back happy. He also received a bandana perfectly themed for Thanksgiving. We will be back, thank you ❤️

We have boarded our dog with Vivi 3 times this year. Every visit has been wonderful. The staff is friendly and professional and so sweet with our pup. They have indoor and outdoor space for the dogs and provide daily videos for boarding so we can see what our dog is up to. We chose Vivis over other dog boarding spots in Astoria, even though we live closer to others. We are happy to take a car to Vivis for the consistent and great experience for our dog. We will continue to take our girl to Vivis because we trust that she is being taken good care of!

We recently moved to the area and are thrilled to have discovered Vivi Pet Care. They did an exceptional job with my girl, and when I picked her up, she was so happy and comfortable. The team is incredibly friendly, and the facility is so clean. Were excited to have found our new go-to grooming spot! ✨

My rescue pup has been very nervous with the dryer at another groomer so Vivi assured me they had different machines and techniques to help him. I dropped off a nervous pup and returned to a very happy boy who seemed to love the staff! Vivi said she took her time and he did great with the dryer. He got a cute holiday themed bandana (nice touch). Her prices are competitive so I’ll definitely return!

Just took our dog for his usual grooming appointment at ViVi’s yesterday and as always they did a great job.ViVi’s Pet Care has been his groomer since we first adopted him last year and since the very beginning the entire group has provided great care for our little guy. He loves going and is always so happy after a fresh cut.

I recently took my puppy for his first grooming experience at Vivis, and I have mixed feelings about our visit. There were certainly some positives, but the overall experience left much to be desired.Pros:-The facility is impressively clean and well-organized.-They take care with personal items, storing leashes and collars in new ziplock bags during service.-The bathing service, though unplanned, was thorough.-The head groomer, Vivi, seemed genuinely concerned about not wanting my puppy to have a bad experience.Cons:-Poor communication about service requirements when booking the appointment.-The groomer insisted on a full service package, despite my request for a simpler introduction for my puppys first visit.-Uneven grooming quality, including an accidental injury.-The groomer made assumptions about my puppys health that were later contradicted by our vet.I was impressed by the cleanliness and organization of the facility. However, I was surprised when told that a full service package was required, including bathing and blow-drying, despite my initial request for a simple introductory service for my puppys first visit. This lack of clear communication during booking was frustrating, as it wasnt what I had planned or budgeted for.The bathing service itself was excellent, though unnecessary given that my puppy had been bathed recently. The grooming process was more challenging. While the paw trimming went smoothly, the facial trim was uneven, and there was an unfortunate incident where my puppys lip was accidentally cut, causing some bleeding.I appreciated that Vivi, the head groomer, took time to introduce my puppy to the grooming tools and was concerned about making it a positive experience. However, her insistence on anxiety medication for future visits felt a bit premature and insensitive to the situation, especially given that this was meant to be a simple, introductory visit.One concerning aspect was Vivis confident assertion about my puppys health based on observed red spots. While I appreciate her attention to detail, its important to note that groomers should be cautious about making medical diagnoses. In this case, our vet later provided a different, more accurate explanation for the condition, which was easily fixed with wet wipes.Vivis grooming service probably works for pets that receive regular grooming, with its clean facility and some aspects of good service. However, they need to improve their communication, especially for first-time clients, and be more flexible with service options. While the staff seems well-intentioned, theres room for improvement in grooming technique and in understanding the boundaries of their expertise.For those considering this groomer, Id recommend having a very clear discussion about your expectations and your pets needs before booking. It might be a good fit for some, but first-time puppy owners might want to look for a more accommodating option.While I appreciate the effort to provide a thorough service, the overall experience did not meet the standards I would expect from a professional pet groomer.

We love Vivi and the team. We’ve been taking Pepper to Vivi since she was 5 months old. Pepper always leaves happy. Vivi does a wonderful schnauzer cut and we always get compliments from strangers. I highly recommend her. You will not be disappointed.

This is my second time bringing my 8 year old Yorkshire terrier princess to vivi pet care.and the staff is so loving and amazing the prices are decent.the groomer does an amazing job exactly how I wanted she will do it.princess trust them and that whats important this will be her forever place to get groomed. thank you vivi pet care for keeping a healthy and safe place.I’m now on my third time brining my newest fur baby Charity who will be 1 on Oct 27th 2023 her hair cut comes out beautiful thank you vivi pet care for you tender love and care❤️🐾🐾

My baby loves Vivi Pet Care. She goes there for daycare. She gets super excited and happy playing with her fluffy friends. She also has been groomed and boarded. I’m very satisfied how they take care of her so well. Highly recommend![Picture] She looks beautiful after the grooming.

First grooming experience for my mini golden doodle. Called in based on previous reviews - I wanted to see first hand what the place was like before just booking anywhere. The smell as you enter is so fresh and clean ..smells like a spa I would go to! I was greeted by Kaitlyn at the door and shown around the facilities. After providing vaccine records and completing forms my Bridget was scheduled in an hour later. Vivi greeted Bridget, listened to what cut I wanted and took her back, simply and easy and very welcoming! I collected Bridget 2hrs later and was ABSOLUTELY DELIGHTED. I will be back and recommend anyone who fears their little one may be a little nervous to take them here. They will work their magic!

We’ve been taking our pup to Vivi’s since he was just a few months old for grooming. We also utilize their boarding services 1-2x a year and we are so appreciative of the incredible care that the team at Vivi’s provides. We come from another neighborhood in Queens and will continue to use Vivi even if we move further! Come here if you want the best for your fur baby.

I was searching for a groomer in the Astoria/ LIC area and came across Vivi Pet Care. At first, I was hesitant but then I read the reviews. They did not lie!! Then I called, my first impression, not the best CS on the phone but she had availability the next day & I need my pup hairs cut. So I take my 8-month-old Maltese & the moment they see each other, its love at first sight! Not only was she gentle & patient, she went above & beyond to make us & our fur baby feel comfortable. She asked us the right questions & most importantly gave us the answers I wanted to hear and listened to what we wanted done. My baby came out looking super handsome! She did an excellent job!! His best haircut to date. The shop smells divine, is immaculate & they have a nice selection of merchandise to purchase! The cutest outfits! She is affordable& a pet whisperer!!! I HIGHLY recommend Vivi Pet Care. She is caring and very professional. Shout Out to All the employees!! The staff, they all rock!!

I take Bear to Viví pet care when I have v long days and don’t want to leave him alone for too long at home, he loves going and when I pick him up he is in such a happy mood I can tell he had fun playing with other pups. Scheduled a haircut and they cut just enough! Love this place

My favorite groomer!! My dog had the best haircut he’s ever had. We were going on a road trip this summer so I asked them to shave my dog completely. I was afraid of how his haircut might look given the instruction, but he looks great and loves his haircut.I also love their competitive pricing, and friendly staff. They offer a lot of services in the basic package that other places offer as an add on. Sadly we moved away so we won’t frequent here anymore. It’s been so hard to find a new groomer that I was reminded to give Vivi 5 stars.

I would highly recommend Vivi and her team. They not only expertly groomed my recently adopted dog, they treated her with care and love. She hadnt been groomed in a long time so her fur and behavior werent easy but the team knew just how to make her feel comfortable and give her a great haircut. Vivi and her team were also very nice and helpful to me, answering all of my questions and making sure she looked just how I had requested.

My puppy loves Vivi’s. She has been boarded, groomed and goes to daycare. She pulls me there. The owner is so sweet and everyone there is so nice. They truly love caring for the dogs and cats. Highly recommend this place. I feel safe leaving my baby Astra there.

While we unfortunately lost Teeny, we thankfully still have Chiki going strong! And Chiki got a flower bow from her bff Vivi, who trims her nails, for the first time in her 14.5 years. How sweet! Will always recommend Vivi and her whole team.—————-Kind, courteous, helpful, and clean are just some of the first words to come to mind when describing Vivi’s.I’m relatively new to Astoria and desperately needed to find a place to trim my two senior chihuahua’s nails. Price doesn’t matter if they do an excellent job and I’m happy to report they did while still at a fair price.As long as I have my dogs, I will be a loyal customer going forward. We are so happy with our fur baby getting groomed at Vivi Pet Care. We have a high anxiety 10 year old who has a heart issue and requires constant talking to and positive reinforcement. The staff here is wonderful. They take their time with her and through my babys growls and snarls she will give them all kisses. Vivi and her staff have put my family at ease knowing that they are offering a special service to a high anxiety fur baby and treat her with nothing but love. Our family is forever grateful to Vivi and her staff. 💓

My grandpup, Fendi went to Vivi Pet Care for grooming on her birthday in March. Unfortunately, during the grooming process, her tail was cut to the bone. When my daughter and son-in-law picked her up, the staff at Vivi Pet Care, along with a vet they knew, suggested they amputate her tail right then and there in the salon, in front of other dogs. We were not aware of the severity of the cut until we took her to our own vet for a second opinion. Our vet informed us that our Fendis tail would have to be amputated, which will cost us $7,000. Vivi Pet Care is now refusing to pay for the damage they caused. I would like to warn others to avoid leaving their pets at this place as they are causing harm to animals!!!

This place is AMAZING, one of the best groomers!! Vivi is the best!This should be a 10 star Groomers! My Morkie has a behavioral issue when it comes to being groomed. Vivi was able to talk him through it all in a loving and caring way! He had a great experience with all her love towards him and of course gave him an amazing hair cut! She has completely changed his grooming experience into a positive one! He was so HAPPY after his haircut. She is truly amazing and a trust worthy groomer!!

It’s my second time to have them for grooming my dog. At first time, they had a deep hair cut but this time they did perfectly for my dog. I really like how they cleaned up his ear, nail and tail. Thanks alot! I will definitely go looking for it again.

Love Vivi so much!! They take fantastic care of our chihuahua and our golden retriever, and everyone who works there is so nice. They even send us a video of our dogs every night and morning when we board them! So so glad they’re in the neighborhood.

I cant say enough about Vivis,they truly show your pets the same love they would if they were there own .vivis will always have a place in my heart .

The service is awesome and the shop is extremely clean however grooming overall was sub par and i was disappointed with how my puppy’s haircut was done.. people asked me if i did it myself..

Vivi took care of our 3 cats when we were away and we could not have been happier with her care! One of our cats is on medication and often refuses to take it when we are away. Vivi came up with little tricks to get him to take the medication and it worked! We were able to enjoy our vacation with peace mind knowing a caring responsible person is taking care of the kitties! She really went above and beyond. We highly recommend Vivi Pet Care and look forward to working with her again!

This place is absolutely amazing! The store is well-organized, the staff are incredibly helpful and friendly, and the grooming services are top-notch. Every part of the experience was exceptional. We took our Golden Retriever puppy here for her first grooming after reading many great reviews from dog owners in the area on FB. The entire team was so kind and patient with our pup, they specifically said they go as quickly or slowly as needed to keep the dog comfortable. She came out so happy and looking beautiful! I will highly recommend this grooming spot. I’ve been coming here for a couple of months now. The whole staff is very friendly and they make sure you are comfortable leaving your pet with them. I am very happy to have found viví!Stella is happy with the results :)

If you need a daycare or a groomer this is the place to go . Nahla absoutely loves Vivis , she is always so happy to run in and play with her friends. All the staff here are so friendly and you can tell they really love all the animals that come Vivi the owner is such an amazing person, you can see her love for each dog or cat that comes in ,she treats them like her own .I cant recommend them enough!!!Im so glad they came to the area.

My first time using Vivi today was the right choice. I am beyond happy and excited to have found the Vivi family. The treatment out of the gate was impeccable. The young lady at the front desk was so helpful, sweet and patient. From the front desk to the back crew, I felt so welcome. I have rescues and it can be challenging with new faces etc. But that was not the case here, my dog took to all of them at once. Not to mention the amazing work she did on my little girl. We are so happy and will be entrusting all of our dogs to the Vivi family!!!

For the past 3 years vivi has been my go to! whether it be daycare or grooming services, they always take care of the animals with so much care and love that is truly a no brainer when someone asks me for a recommendation.

My Ollie boy and I absolutely love Vivi and all of the staff at the shop. He goes for daycare from time to time for full days when I have to go into the office, and has even made friends there that he plays with for HOURS, and then recognizes at the dog park! We also use Vivis grooming service and my pup comes out looking so handsome every time. Vivi and her team treat these dogs like they are their family, with love, care and personalized attention. As an anxious dog mom, I know I can trust them with my baby on busy days, and that means more than anything. The best part of my day is seeing him smiling on their Instagram stories while Im at work while he gets to play :)Cannot recommend their services enough!

Our pup Odie loves going to Vivis. We bring him for daycare and grooming. He runs there every time and we have to carry him when it’s time to leave. They are so good with him and really show how much they care. Highly recommend!

My puppy is 10 months old and this was her first grooming experience. I was super nervous of where to take her and I found Viví. She’s amazing and I’m coming back again. She knew I was nervous because my puppy is feisty at times. She took her time and made my dog feel comfortable first and gave her lots of love. My dog hardly sits still, but Did for Viví and she was able to give her an amazing haircut. Love love loved it. Coming back for the next haircut.

My Toby absolutely loves spending his daycare days at Vivi Petcare. The place is spacious, sparkly clean and prices are super affordable! And I adore the owners + staff! You can just tell they put their heart and soul into each and every pets care. Highly recommend!!!

I was looking for a new grooming service for months since in another salon told me my dog Loki was aggressive towards them I was surprise since he is a good boy I was sure they hurt him and he didn’t like it, ViVi Pet Care did an amazing job with my Loki, thanks for your help and love ❤️‍🩹 we really appreciate it !

VIVIs is a great trust worthy place. They do home visits for my cat when i go away for the weekend. She always sends me a picture and description of what she did before she leaves my apartment. I feel safe knowing that my cat is in good professional hands.

Fur parents, stay AWAY! Please be careful where you leave your fur babies, videos have been surfacing of animal abuse during their daycare in this facility. Extremely disheartening and disturbing for any pet or owner to go through this maltreatment. Avoid at all cost, I can only hope the owner is holding everyone including herself accountable and taking the necessary measures to hold this evil person accountable.

Vivi and her team are the absolute best. They are so kind and loving with our pup and we are so lucky they are in our neighborhood.

Love this place! The kindest care for little fur baby! We were greatest and treated with care and service was quick and we will absolutely be back! Thank you so much for being so kind even after i arrived a bit late after getting lost. You were wonderful.

They did a good job grooming but when I called to ask how much the girl said it was like $85 plus tax when I got there it was $158Apperently they added babysitting services... My regular place is about a mile away and I never have that problem I drop him off and pick him up with no extra charge....

Vivi has taken such good care of my dogs (shih tzus). As you know if you’re a shih tzu owner it’s extremely hard to groom their face. I have brought my dogs to other groomers in the past and they would never be able to throughly do my dog’s faces and for that reason their cut looked botched but Vivi is different from other groomers. She is extremely passionate about grooming and you can see it through her work. I would definitely recommend Vivi to others looking for a groomer that actually cares about your pet. 10/10 💕

I absolutely love this place for my puppies.. the staff is very kind and sweet with me and my doggies... Vivi is so kind and welcoming...I love the fact that they begin at your appointment time and call you when there almost done... they do not overbook and keep dogs in cages like other places .. the prices are great and the place is brand new and clean .. a great addition to Astoria :)

Vivi Pet Care IS ABSOLUTELY WONDERFUL. My little ones are rescues and are very squeamish around new people. Vivi made them feel comfortable and was so patient with their care needs. I recommend her and this business wholeheartedly! I especially love that they give 1:1 care to every customer and lock the door after you arrive. They focus on making you/your dogs comfortable. Juliette and Willow will be with Vivis FOREVER!
