Highly recommend NYC Pet Services! I boarded my two dogs - my little senior Shih Tzu and my energetic Doodle rescue puppy - for four nights for the first time. I received frequent photo updates each day and the team was incredibly communicative. The team even gave them both a bath before pickup. My dogs been snoozing since getting home - a tired dog is a happy dog! I’ll definitely be using their boarding and daycare services in the future!

NYC Pet Services is the best daycare and boarding a pet parent could ask for. We had to leave our six month old puppy for the first time, and he had such a blast at boarding - receiving updates and photos multiple times each day made me feel so much less anxious, and I was so happy to see he was having such a good time.He made so many friends, and is so happy - he loves daycare so much!Everyone who works here is so wonderful, and truly cares about your pet - highly, highly recommend for anyone looking to leave their baby at the best daycare or boarding place.

I have followed Jenny from another grooming place because that’s just how good she is. My dog is not the most easy to work with and Jenny puts him at ease and I think he’s finally starting to come around to the whole grooming thing. It feels so good to know that when I leave my dog is in the best hands. Super affordable and she’s so quick! Definitely recommend. I’ve included a before and after below :)

The staff here are always so friendly and you can tell that they truly care about all of the dogs! Ive been bringing my dog Napa here for almost a year and she absolutely loves it! Jenn is hands down the best groomer Napas ever had!! The best doggie daycare in Astoria!!!

Jenn, the groomer at NYC Pet Services, is so great with my pup. Every time Dobby sees her, she tinkles a little from excitement! She is easy to communicate with and always listens to what/how I want Dobby to look after her groom/bath. Plus, she always smells AMAZING when she leaves from there. I cant recommend Jenn, enough. We are so happy with her services and would choose her again and again!

I can only sing praises about this spot! NYC Pet Services is our go-to for all of our pup’s needs! The entire staff is warm, friendly, and so attentive with our Leo- and he thrives in their space when we drop him off for daycare. I especially love the extra mile they go to wipe down his paws and give him a little spritz after playing- he smells amazing when we pick him up!The manager, Beth, is not just professional, but so caring, and you can really see it in her interactions with her staff, the dogs AND their owners. They’re flexible, communicative, and their pricing is more than reasonable! NYC Pet services and their staff have really gone above and beyond as a business- their clients aren’t just customers, but a part of a family like community they’ve fostered!

I can’t say enough great things about NYC Pet Services and their staff! My cat Fiona was boarded in their care and not once did I feel worried about her well-being. Fiona needs medication and the staff made sure to administer her medication with ease and make Fiona feel safe. The staff constantly updated me with pictures and videos of Fiona, which made me feel even more comfortable about her boarding. I highly recommend their boarding services, especially if your pet requires medication.

We recently moved to Astoria and were looking for a daycare for our 1 year old Golden. Boy are we glad we chose NYC Pet Services! We can’t say enough great things, especially about Beth, Jose, and the whole crew supervising the dogs. Not to mention all the awesome pictures we get of Reggie throughout the day. It’s like having a daycare and professional photographer all in one!!

This is the best doggy day care! Our dog loves this place . The staff is friendly and very helpful. They have so many monthly activities for the dogs. It’s nice to have a place to bring your dog where they can play and interact with other dogs in a fun and safe environment. You can book grooming services as well as book to have them watch your pet while you are out of town!

A daycare that deserves more than just 5 stars. They have accepted my dog as part of their family and as given all the love and fun. A dog daycare that goes above and beyond to keep all dogs entertain by incorporating movie days, obstacle, trips to the park, every month just different activities. To ease my anxiety down they are always sending pictures and videos, they keep me up to date with everything that they do. For anyone looking for a place to leave there pet, I highly recommend NYC pet service as there staff is one of the best staff you will come across and your pet is in good hands.

Best Doggie Daycare Ever!! Sweetest Staff and so well trained to deal with all those different doggie personalities!! Henri loves it there and always passes out on the way home! LolTrust me bringing your dog here will only make them love you more! Happiness is contagious!!

If I could give 10 stars, I would! The staff is amazing, they take care of my dog as if he were one of their own. They send pics and videos throughout the day to keep me posted on how he’s doing as well. The prices are decent when buying a larger package as opposed to paying daily, and they offer both half day and full day rates, on top of various other training and walking services. On Tues and Thurs they do have limited hours, closing at 6pm as opposed to 8pm, which can be tricky to manage with some work schedules, but otherwise it’s a spot on service!

We tried out a few daycares in the area & ended up really loving NYC Pet Services! Our dogter, Frankie, always enters the space excitedly and leaves with a smile. The staff is all super friendly and eager to give feedback. They also wipe down the dogs before they leave, leaving them smelling fresh and clean.NYC Pet Services also has an awesome monthly schedule of events on Instagram for your fur babies and they also send pics throughout the day! I also love that they offer half day services, which we use when Frankie has extra energy to burn. Could not recommend them enough

This doggie daycare is amazing and has been taking great care of our deaf pit mix fur baby, Rugby, since we moved to Astoria in June. They took the time to have me train the team to learn doggie sign language and proper handling of a deaf dog (a lot of hands on work since you cant call him to get his attention). They send photo updates via text, updates on social media, and do a variety of engaging activities with the pups daily. They go above and beyond and, most importantly, Ruby loves it there! Thank you to the wonderful crew at NYC Pet Services!!!

I have a very timid rescue dog and ever since I found Jenn for grooming 2 years ago I will not take her to anyone else! She is incredibly gentle and caring and really treats your dog like her own. My dog hates water (even jumps over puddles when we go for a walk) but Jenn works her magic to give her the best bath and grooming. Scheduling an appointment is easy and she is very communicative. My doggie and I have had nothing but WONDERFUL experiences with NYC Pet Services! Jenn is SO amazing with Kyra, and the way that she loves her and takes care of her is wonderful. They are very professional and have been great with reschedules and accommodating our crazy schedule. We love it there and we love Jenn!!!

We have boarded our two cats (one male, one female, each 7 yrs old currently) for quite a few years now and have always had a positive experience with the team here. They are always so happy to see our fur babies and greet them with lots of love. Weve boarded them for long weekend trips and trips as long as 2+ weeks and always known they were in good hands! Theyre always happy and healthy coming back to us and we always know where were going to board them the next time (spoiler alert! Its here!!). Just a great team that loves and knows their animals.

I got my dog, Lilly, from a rescue about a year ago and she developed severe separation anxiety because I was spending a lot of time at home during Covid. She is also a very timid dog and was terrified of interacting with other dogs. I found NYC Pet services and Ive been using them for little over a year. Not only did it take away the stress of having to leave her home alone while I am at work and coming back to her in a distressed state after 8+ hours, but it also opened her up to being more social with other dogs. The staff is absolutely amazing and knows how to handle her; they are really gentle and sweet with her and she loves them. She warmed up to them very easily. There is plenty of space for her to run around and she is exhausted by the end of the day. They also send updates, videos and photos throughout the day, which is great to see her having fun. Glad I found them!

I couldnt be any happier with their services. Samantha (the owner) was so responsive and made me feel so comfortable leaving my fur baby at their place.Throughout the weekend, I would get pictures of my golden doodle showing me his enjoyable time during his stay. Once I picked him up, he was so exhausted from all the playing around but yet looked so happy.I would highly recommend this place and I will undoubtedly continue taking my fur babies here. I am so happy I found a reliable, trustworthy place I know I can leave my dogs.

I boarded my two dausch hounds here for two weeks while away in Greece. The dogs look great and happy.. The staff is wonderful and they stay in top of the animals to make sure they behave. This is the first time I have boarded my animals for not knowing what to expect. But with this experience I will definitely do it again with NYC Pet Services.

By far the best service ever!! Beth is the sweetest assistant ever. She was so helpful and took her time to explain a few things to me regarding my doggy’s hair cut. It was a perfect experience from beginning to end!

My mini dachshund absolutely loves it here. She has such a strong bond with everyone there, and I know she’s being cared for by people who love her. I love the pictures throughout the day and appreciate how diligent they are about keeping vaccination records up to date for the pups.

There aren’t enough positive words in the English language.Let me tell you about this gem of a place. They are kind, caring, and loving. They will treat your pup like their own. They send pictures, they send updates. They will make sure you and your puppy feel secure. Honestly, they bend over backwards to keep your dog happy and healthy. They go above and beyond, and that kind of care is so rare. When my puppy got sick, they checked in on him daily to see how he was doing. If something isn’t working, they will brainstorm with you to find a way. I truly cannot praise them enough.

Jennifer has been our dog Ozzies groomer ever since we got him and she has always done a fantastic job. wife and I truly appreciate her.staff at nyc has also been great to us.

Last week we called to see if they would have availability to board our rescue pit so we could go away for a few days. We requested a Monday -Thursday boarding in one of their more expensive private rooms they offer because he doesn’t like other dogs in his personal space. We spoke to the owner Sam and she said that they did have availability but would just have to meet our dog to see how reactive he is when walking by other dogs. We said sure and the earliest availability she had was for the following Thursday, which was a long wait considering we called on a Wednesday, but we agreed anyway. When it came time for our appointment, Samantha wasn’t even there and her assistant had to call her to tell her that her appointment was there. While waiting, our dog was showing no signs of aggression because there were no dogs in the area. In fact he was crying because he hates car rides. When the phone was passed to us, all Sam could tell us was that she couldn’t take our dog because he was too aggressive. Mind you, she is not in the building and she has NOT MET THE DOG. All she said was according to what her assistant said, he’s too aggressive. This place is highly unprofessional if you, as the owner, forget or neglect the fact that you made an appointment to meet a possible client and then turn them away without actually meeting them, ultimately wasting their time. (Especially because we had to take hours off from work). Their website says they DO NOT breed discriminate which is ultimately a lie because I’m sure the ONLY reason they turned us away is because my dog is a pit. Even though once you actually MEET him, he is the happiest and sweetest people loving dog ever. I’m actually happy we don’t get to experience this business because if the owner and staff neglect to do their job properly when meeting a dog, I can only assume how they treat the dogs that they do get. STAY AWAY from this false advertising business if you can because they lost my trust in 3 minutes.

When we needed to find somewhere for our cats to stay overnight during a fumigation at our apartment, I was nervous to put it lightly. I know that cats don’t usually like unfamiliar environments, and was worried they’d feel abandoned. I took a chance on NYC Pet Services upon recommendation from my favorite local pet store owner. The facilities were clean, the staff was friendly and kind, and I felt confident that my cats were in good hands. They sent photos during their stay, so I knew my cats were secure and doing well. My cats came home happy as could be. I would recommend them for anyone who needs a safe place to board their cat.

I don’t know where to begin. The groomer was specifically instructed to do a long trim and was shown a picture. What did the groomer do? Shave my long hair labradoodle down to the skin. Not only did he do that and not acknowledge his mistake he “botched” his neck where it appears he “accidentally” used a super short clipper where you can visibly see his skin. He also decided to shave his tale halfway down and leave the rest poofy without us even requesting that. The absolute worst part is the owner at the front stated the shorter spots were “hot spots” which was completely false. His skin is immaculate and was recently to the vet in which he had no health issues including his skin. Own up to your mistakes and don’t offer us free “daycare” when I can’t even trust someone at this facility to adequately groom our dog.*update* 3/31 - owner reached out after they saw this review; they were very apologetic and issued a full refund. We were informed that the groomers were contracted and not employees of the facility. Suggestion to simply cut ties with that groomer/company as they clearly do not have enough training. It reflects badly on your business sadly.

Valentino loves NYCPS! Beth is always helpful, and also extremely patient with Valentino. He’s a senior dog (9) and she is able to make him feel relaxed and comfortable when he gets nervous.

Fantastic experience with NYC Pet Services. My girl is a anxious little rescue and Id never left her with anyone outside my family. We had a trip coming up so we started doing daycare to help her acclimate and then boarded her for 5 nights. They sent photos and updates every day and answered all my helicopter mom questions. My partner underestimated the amount of kibble to pack but they were able to provide some for the last day. Beth and Juan were knowledgable and very patient with all my questions, and all the staff seemed to really care. As someone who has worked in pet care for the past decade Im very picky, but I pick NYC Pet Services!

This place is incredible. Our dog, Rebel has a lot of special needs, and the staff here, particularly Beth and Juan, have been so incredible in taking care of her, knowing her individual issues, and getting her involved with the play group. Rebel is so happy every time she goes here, and she normally doesnt like other dogs! Thank you NYC pet services for your professionalism and the love and care you give our girl!

The whole team at NYCPS takes the best care possible of your pup. Always sends me pics of my baby throughout his stay and give him so much love and attention. Most importantly they make sure all the dogs there are behaved well so there’s little to no chance of a fight to break out. 24/7 care for boarding is so hard to find! 10/10 always! Thank you NYCPS!!

This is hands down the best experience Ive ever had at the groomer. My cat gets very anxious going anywhere so I was worried, but Beth sent me pictures and videos throughout the whole process which made me feel soooo comfortable and secure. They respected all of my requests related to grooming, and my cat looks amazing, and he is so happy. The price was absolutely amazing too! Cant beat it. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!! Ill definitely be going back.

I truly cant speak highly enough of the NYC Pet Services staff! Theyve been an absolute pleasure to work with from day one. I know when when I bring my dog that hes not only going to be looked after but, loved and treated well. I cant put in to words the peace of mind that brings.Ive also had nothing but great experiences with Jenn. She not only always does a great job but, she goes above and beyond to make my guy feel comfortable. We wont be going to anyone else and I cant recommend her enough!

We’ve been bringing our pup here since he was 6 months old (he’s almost 2 now). He always has fun and is well cared for. I love getting pics throughout the day so I know he’s ok. Beth is the absolute best! She looks out for our pup as if he were her own. Jen (the groomer) is also phenomenal and reasonably priced. Love the little bandanas after a groom. I brought my puppy in for his first time ever at day care. This place was very clean, the dogs that were already there were being watched closely and, the employees were amazing in reassuring my anxieties and were very personable. My doggie had the best day in the world, I wouldnt trust anyone else.

I am so glad to have found this daycare, my dog loves to go so much that when taking her on walks she becomes stubborn and stops in front of the daycare wanting to enter. Beth has made it much more comforting with her welcoming energy and how easily she walks you through with understanding the daycare hours. She keeps you updated with photos and messages on your dog and is very professional when discussing.

The most amazing team and staff! Daycare & Boarding Review -We were looking for a doggy daycare to board our one year old pup and unlike most places, they didnt require a day of daycare which I appreciated. We went in for a trial where our girl got to meet the staff and other doggies.We did do a few days of daycare prior to boarding just to get her ready. The offer both half and full day service.We boarded our girl for the week, and the team was so helpful in getting everything prepped prior and sharing all the activities shed be taking part in. They do have a camera available for an extra fee each month, but you honestly dont even need it. Beth, Laura and Juan were sending updates on the regular - morning, afternoon, and before bed. I felt extremely comfortable leaving her for the week and the team is so communicative helping with all my questions upfront and even while we were gone. I also loved that they texted, just makes life easier.NYC Pet Services space is also much bigger than a few other daycares we tried and I didnt feel like it was packed with dogs each day, it just felt & seemed like the right amount. The space is clean and the staff is truly amazing! Thank you for taking such good care of our girl!

Jenn is by far the best groomer I have had in Astoria. She is sweet, professional and most importantly loves dogs. I don’t trust many people when it comes to taking care of my dog, especially when it comes to something as delicate as grooming. I have a golden doodle who is not the easiest to groom but Jenn always does the most amazing job. I would always recommend her amongst anyone else in the Astoria area!

NYC Pet Services has been a life saver for me. My dog is currently a little over a year old and has been going there for a few months. The place is extremely friendly and my dog loves everyone that works there. There are times he wants to stay and not leave when i come to pick him up. The place is always very clean, all the other dogs are well behaved. I have never had any issues with the service they provide. So I have no complaints at all and I am appreciative of how they take care of my dog like it is their own. If I can give more then 5 stars I would.

Recently moved to Astoria and NYCPS has been a life saver. Very friendly staff. Great hours of operation. Plenty of updates w photos of our dog while at daycare. Definitely recommend! We’ve also have our dog cut twice by their groomer and both haircuts were great 👌🏼👌🏼

The staff at NYC pet services are fantastic. They are extremely attentive and caring for all the dogs that stay with them, and are friendlier than any other doggy daycare I’ve gone to. The groomer David above all is an artist with his work. He grooms my dog exactly as I describe to him every time, and now is the only groomer I trust to bring my dog to. Sam the owner is also extremely dedicated to her business and always ensures everything is running smoothly.

Outstanding place to board your dog when you’re out of town! The customer service is excellent, the application process is quick—ideal if you’re in a rush—and they provide frequent text updates with photos while you’re away. Overall, a five-star service!

NYC Pet Services is the absolute BOMB. Super convenient location in Astoria, and the prices really can’t be beat. Homer has had a lifelong issue with separation anxiety, so I often need a place to drop him if I’m going out for more than a couple hours.He’s also about 95 pounds, so it’s really important for me to leave him with people who know what they’re doing, especially in a relatively small indoor space. His play energy can simply be overwhelming for some dogs (and the big dog usually gets blamed no matter what happens!)I’m really happy to have found a place where I’m super comfortable that he will be safe and well taken care of, and as a bonus, he sleeps like he’s dead when he comes home. The staff is awesome and they send tons of pictures throughout the day. That’s icing for me because I trust them, but I know it’s important to a lot of people to have updates on how their dog is doing. And it is always fun to see him having a great time.Just about the only thing that could be better would be if they were open late one or two nights a week; I have to make different arrangements if I’m going to the theater, for example. But when the only negative interview is that the reviewer wishes they could use the business more often, it’s a safe assumption that they’re a pretty satisfied customer!

Just started taking my dog to day care for the past month or so. He used to have separation anxiety but now he absolutely loves being there. The staff take care of him and make sure to send updates and pictures. They do a lot of fun activities with the dogs. I looked into other doggy day cares but this seemed to be the best one. It is very spacious and everyone is so nice and respectful. Definitely recommend bringing your furry friend over to NYC Pet Services!!

Took my 4 month old puppy here for the daycare services and I can not even articulate how amazing they were with her. The girls were all so sweet to her. She’s a baby so she was afraid but the employees made us feel so comfortable leaving her there. When we went to pick her up, a different set of employees we never met were there. They brought our pup right out without us even telling them which dog was ours. This means they’re all attentive and communicate with each other. They were so loving towards her, and made us feel comfortable. Best day care in Long Island city, hands down.

I love this place and my dog does too! I started taking my pup here a month or so ago and I have had zero complaints. Ive used their boarding, grooming and daycare services and find their rates affordable and reasonable and the playroom is bigger than a lot of other daycares in the area and it gives my dog room to run around and play.The staff are friendly and welcoming and seem to just genuinely love the dogs they care for. They send free updates throughout the day via text which I appreciate (especially when I dropped my dog off for the first time and was feeling nervous about it) and a bonus is they have a really fun instagram that makes me chuckle on the regular. There are much closer daycare facilities to me but NYC Pet Services is well worth the extra walk.

I was very nervous when brining my dog to doggy daycare as I’ve had bad experiences with some daycares in Astoria.I brought my baby Bella to BB / disco and vivi and they were to small for my dog so I tried out NYCPS as everyone told me how huge there play area was!Beth greeted me and my baby as soon as we got in and welcomed both of us with open arms. I’ve met Beth before at the dog park so I felt comfortable with my baby in Beth’s hands. She is very professional and very attentive to not only my dog but to me. I won’t leave Bella anywhere else!!Thank you Beth and Sam for going above and beyond for my baby.

This daycare is very spacious and it’s wonderful for energetic dogs who love to play. my dog (nelly) is very energetic as she’s still a baby. i like how experienced the staff are. they understand that sometimes nelly can get overexcited as she is a baby. when i walked in, i was greeted warmly by the manger, beth. she gave me a warm smile and she bent down to greet nelly. nelly immediately wagged her tail and spun in a circle. beth throughly explained everything i needed to know before i left my dog. she explained that there would be a separate section for the dogs when they need some time to relax. the staff communicate often with us pet owners which i love because i always want to make sure that my girl is safe! they always take the cutest pictures!!! they are gentle with the dogs and they communicate with their words and guide the dogs. beth is a wonderful manager. she is responsible, respectful, and she has great social skills.

I bring my Corgi girl here for grooming- Jenn is the ONLY groomer I trust with my Mia. Mia hates water but Jenn is so gentle and sweet with her. Every time I pick her up she is super happy, clean, and her coat is so soft. Would never bring my girl anywhere else!

Our go-to for grooming in Astoria! Jenn is the best and so sweet with our 14 yr old dog Pax, who is not usually a fan of the groomers. Highly recommend for your pup if you are in the area!

Our beloved dog Ricky is picky when it comes to who she spends time with. Pickier with who watches her. We tried a few others in the neighborhood but she only has eyes for NYC Pet Services. Beth and her dog Theo are some of her favorite humans and K9s in the world and she looks forward to going. We trust them with our favorite creature on earth. Ricky always has a good time and comes home ready for a long nap after playing all day.

NYC Pet Services is the place to take your pups! I recieved daily pictures when I boarded my two young beagles in July and during pickup I received a reportcard for each of my fur babies. I know they had a lot of fun during their stay so I occasionally drop them off for daycare (just so they can play with the dogs, staff, and volunteers). Overall, NYC Pet Services is a wonderful place. Thank you Staff and Volunteers!

I appreciate the customer service that I have received here so greatly! To sum up what happened I made an appointment with the company for a groom and the person on the phone was super kind and got straight to what I needed. I was transferred to the groomer that gave me an appointment for April 18. I was informed the day before that the groomer had come down with a sickness, which I fully understand as we are all human, and my appointment would have to be rescheduled. I hadn’t heard from her for a few days, as expected from someone not feeling well. She messaged me a few days later with the soonest available spot, on May 4, explaining that she is usually booked up to two weeks to date. Which is completely understandable. She was very kind as to prioritize me as a customer. I will admit I was a bit upset at first but I understand that if I had an appointment and it was cancelled or rescheduled to fit in someone else I would be furious so I appreciate how she went about this situation. My cockapoo would not be found at any other groomer as her work is amazing and he always comes out super clean ad fluffy and happy!

I’ve been going to NYCPS over than 6 years, and I will continue to go ONLY to them!Over the years I’ve dealt with many workers at New York City pet services but Beth is the reason I will continue to have trust in NYCPS.Since Beth’s first day at New York City pet services she has been extremely helpful and kind towards not only my dog but me. She constantly checks in when she knows I’ve had a tough week. Beth has shown me that she cares and loves all the animals coming into daycare. Beth goes ABOVE and BEYOND for NYCPSI’ve come to share this review due to a recent review defaming her name and making her seem like the “bad guy”The lady states in her review she hasn’t ever even spoken to her or dealt with Beth so to dedicate a whole review about her seems judgmental and it’s sad that people are so quick to judge a person without even knowing them.She mentioned that Beth shouldn’t of gotten involved, but as the manager of NYCPS she has all the right to reach out to an owner as I’d want the same done if I was having an issue. Solid spot. Really competitive pricing for both daycare and boarding. lots of dogs for mine to interact with. My pups always have a great time here and come back with big smiles. Staff is friendly, professional, and accommodating.(Even going the extra step to bring my pups out to my car when the rain is heavy)They have some cool dog accessories too.

My recent experience with the employees at this location have been unprofessional, atrocious, and utterly obnoxious.This began with an unpleasant interaction with the groomer at this location. She is very good at her job, and clearly loves the animals she works with. But when she needed to cancel unexpectedly, she was rude and dismissive of our requests for a sooner appointment once she returned.On April 7, we made an appointment to see Jenn for April 18. On April 17, Jenn messaged us to say she was sick and would need to cancel. We were understanding, and expected to hear from her as soon as she was better. By April 21, we hadn’t heard from Jenn, but she started posting on IG, so we assumed she was feeling better and reached out. The soonest appointment she would offer was for May 4. We attempted to reason with Jenn, and requested a sooner date. All she did was emphasize that she couldn’t control being sick and did not offer us a better solution. She expressed that she understood if we needed to find a new groomer. We thanked Jenn for her work and informed her that unfortunately, we would need to have our pup groomed as soon as possible, and decided to seek service elsewhere.In response, Jenn sent unprofessional, inaccurate and unnecessary messages to us. She went on to block us when we expressed how disappointed we were with her responses —not the content, but her disrespectful tone, and disregard of facts and reality. I was nothing but respectful and grateful toward her; I remain absolutely shocked by her unwarranted reaction.Jenn’s colleague at NYC Pet Services, Beth, has shown similar behavior. She has now messaged me on my social media account unnecessarily, as she has nothing to do with this situation, nor have I ever interacted with her before this. I’m astounded that any employee working for a business would think it is appropriate to send a customer a direct message on social media, to provide commentary on anything that she is not directly involved in, and offer her unsolicited opinions on the situation.Beth used my account information, provided strictly to establish a relationship with this business, to do a public search and mentioned my place of work to me. Beth has taken it upon herself to insert herself into a situation that would have blown over and has nothing to do with her, and proceeded harass me, and threaten me.I’m more disturbed and upset by Beth’s unprofessional and unwarranted outreach to me, since we have never had any type of relationship, and it was not her place to do so. She spent a better part of this morning messaging me despite my expressing confusion about her point of outreach— she is not the owner and is not involved with this in any way shape or form.Had it not been for Beth inserting herself, this situation may have likely had an entirely different outcome. This entire experience has been so upsetting and unsettling to me.

NYC Pet Services is the best! Our dog Tucker has been going there for 3 years, and he still gets excited every time we drop him off. They always take great care of him and he comes home exhausted every single time. We also use them for boarding and its great to know theres a place we can take him while were away that keeps him safe and happy, but also wears him out!

If you are a particular and protective small dog parent then this daycare isn’t for you. I truly believe this daycare is more for bigger dogs that need the exercise they are not able to get in a small Astoria apartment. My dogs have been to dog daycare in the city so I have expectations to the kind of service I believe should be given. To summarize; the staff is extremely young, they are unorganized, and when I picked up my dogs they smelled like urine. This review is based on the day I went to get a “trail” done for my dogs into daycare since this daycare is the only one around. The front desk girl tried to charge me for the 20 mins of the trail and did not know prices to my questions. Why should my dogs smell like urine when they only spent 20 mins in the facility? How clean is the area? Why is there a kennel like area inside if all the dogs should get along? No thank you.

I cannot more strongly recommend NYC Pet Services for both their daycare and boarding services! My 11 month old puppy, Angus, has been going to daycare at their location for a third of his life now, and I have seen a HUGE improvement in his separation anxiety. He loves going and playing with the other dogs in their new 5,000 sq ft space, (even if he cant figure out how to use their agility training equipment lol.) The minute I get him home, he curls up in a cozy little snuggle ball and sleeps throughout the night. The biggest thing for me, though, is the consistently incredible staff--its so abundantly clear how much they love every animal that comes through their doors, and the animals love them in turn! Angus and I have run into a few of the staff members out in public on our daily walks, and he gets so excited every time he recognizes one of them, in a way that (until now) he had reserved exclusively for his dog dad and I.TL;DR, if youre looking for the most loving, caring and spacious daycare to take care of your fur babies, this is 10000% the place for you

I’ve been going to NYCPS for about a year now and if I could give this place more than 5 stars I would !They make my dog feel loved and safe EACH and EVERYDAY! They welcomed my baby zoey as family ❤️The first thing that I noticed when I went to this daycare was that the staff was super friendly and always on top of everything, they have a HUGE space for my baby to run around and not feel overwhelmed, I always like to peek and see my baby on the camera and not only do I see her playing with her fur friends I see the staff constantly cleaning and interacting with the pups. I also love how many staff there is compared to the dogs!I am grateful for NYCPS/ SAM/ THE STAFFTHANK YOU ALL

My Yorkie was bit by another dog at this daycare. She has a bruised left eye, scratches on the left of her face, and three stitches on her head from the laceration. I understand accidents happen, and the dogs are unpredictable. But, the staff and owner of this business are unprofessional and incapable of handling situations like this.They did not follow any of my instructions or basic emergency protocols, so my dog waited outside in the sun and with no water until I arrived (only to find out that the vet was not available for hours- they did not care to call the daycare or check-in when they arrived.) The staff applied unknown glue/powder in the injured area, which caused an extra cut and stitch to remove the glue/powder.The staff and owner continuously blamed my dog for what happened: she was barking at a medium-sized dogs face...she kept going back to him and she, as we all know, likes to bark in all the pups faces. The owner continued to emphasize my dogs barking and made me feel like this is my dogs fault for what happened. I understand my dog barks, but no customer wants to hear that what happened is because she started it.Moreover, when I reached out to the owner after a few days (because she did not care to follow up with me), she made me feel wrong for being upset. The owner used her past experience of when a similar situation happened with her dog, she understood, or how she takes her child to a park and accidents happen.The owner showed no responsibility or professionalism when the accident happened to now. They might appear to be friendly and loving, but when accidents happen, the business is clearly incapable of handling such situations.

Left my boy there for boarding for a couple of nights. Really liked that he would be playing with other dogs all day. The staff was very friendly and explained everything well, and I felt comfortable that they were taking good care of my dog. They sent several pictures, and he seemed to be enjoying his time there. Would definitely use again!

My girl has been going here for about a year. She started as a pup. Im so happy with the attention she gets. Even after we moved, we make it a point to drive the extra 20-30 mins to drop her off here a few times a week. I can tell shes loved and she gets so excited when she sees the staff (especially Sam, Julie and Yaz) and her friends. Sam and her team are awesome! I cant say enough great things about them. With the distance being a little inconvenient, weve tried to find places closer to us that we can alternate her time at. It only showed me how great NYC Pet Services really is and how much work they put in to make it comfy for my little one. Ive watched them grow bigger and accommodate more pups each month. Their move to a bigger building was an easy transition. I have yet to find any other doggie daycare that compares. Oh, and I love the Instagram posts! :) thanks guys!!!

My pup LOVES it here, I say the word daycare at home and she starts whining and tip tapping her feet. They offer so many enrichment activities for the dogs, send you updates throughout the day, and there’s tons of space in there for running around. Definitely recommend!

We have used NYCPS for the past year for both daycare and boarding our little yorkie. Wybie has typical yorkie anxiety when away from us. But the staff has actually helped him immensely. The staff and owners couldnt be more caring and understanding of him and accommodating to his needs. Day care rooms are separate for little dogs and big dogs which helps put us at ease knowing hes safe. Play times are well supervised. All dogs are carefully screened for aggression issues. The facility is very clean. We have found that every staff member is caring and gives personal attention to all of their fuzzy clients. The whole experience has been positive for both Wybie and myself. I dont know where we would be without them. Definitely pay them a visit.

Most affordable daycare in Astoria and worth it! They even plan a schedule like a child daycare! Staff sends photos and gives important updates on those days/times that you cant be with your pup. Hoping eventually for that puppy streaming service to check in, but until then, this will have to do :)

NYC pet services, how I love you so!! This is the ONLY place I will trust with my dog. When I drop him off, he is already whining when we get near because he is so excited to jump out of the car and go inside. He always leaves sooo happy and tired, and I never doubt theyre ability to watch over him and keep him safe. I am very picky when it comes to who handles my dog, I wont let my own family walk him most of the time. But this place knows dogs, and they really love them! They go above and beyond, and you can see when they interact with all the dogs how much they are in it for the love of the pups. Also, last year, my dog came down with pancreatitis and almost died, and his care costs thousands of dollars, and Yaz (one of the great staff there) helped me get word out about my gofundme to raise the funds to save him. And she kept checking in with me about it for months. She literally helped save his life. Find another daycare that goes above and beyond like that!! I have to drive almost 45 min sometimes through traffic to bring him here, past many daycare that are much closer to my house but I will not bring him anywhere else. Plus Im pretty sure my dog prefers being there to being with me lol, thats really how excited he gets when I bring him. On top of all that the prices are great, the place is kept clean, and one year they sent out Christmas cards with all the pups on them! Long live NyC pet services! M

I have been dropping my dog off here for daycare for almost a year and I couldnt be more impressed. Every staff member enthusiastically welcomes him every morning and they genuinely seem to care about his well being. I also love that they do a drop off service (as long as you give them a decent amount of time for a heads up) which is great whenever Im in a pickle and need to stay late at work.

Yaz at NYC Pet Services is the superb. Her love of animals is so clear. She is immediately responsive to dog walk requests, clear in her communications and responsible. She texts you when she is running late and then texts a synopsis of the walk with very artistic pictures and funny videos of your furry friend. Yaz is cheerful and flexible. My dog usually doesnt give her affection to anyone new very easily. Not with Yaz! Her tail started wagging from day 1!

My dog loves to come here. Weve been coming here for 5 years or so, and the service just gets better!Every person that Ive met that works there is very sweet with the dogs and they have a great service! Plus I get photos of my fury baby through out the day!

I have been bringing my dog child to NYCPS since 2018. I am hard pressed to find anything negative to say. Maybe they spoil her a bit too much. My dog loves the staff and so do we; and it is apparent that she is well cared for when she is at daycare and when we board her for vacation. 💕💕💕

Seriously so thankful for the services that nyc pet services offers.Took our Bae here to get groomed and also have his temperament assessed for daycare. Before I even get to the grooming part of it, let me start by saying that the facility is amazing and you can definitely tell the staff love the dogs. The area where the dogs play is basically a huge open floor space which its super clean & well equipped. The live cams are also an added plus for us.Before we left Bae to get groomed, we met a few of the staff members. The one we spoke with the longest was the guy that stayed with the dogs overnight. He was super nice and knowledgeable. Bae responded extremely well to him & we appreciate the time he took to make us feel comfortable and answering all our questions.The grooming was quick - roughly about and hour and half and just how I wanted it. We asked for our dog to have a summer cut. And the groomer did just that. His nails were trimmed AND filed and I also appreciate that they didnt leave his tail a completely naked nub, even though I didnt specify or leave details on that.It was a really great first impression.Weve experienced what could be considered horror stories at other places so we were apprehensive - a gross understatment to try somewhere new but they did not let us down.This place is great and I would recommend to anyone looking for a place where their dog will get all the attention and care they deserve.

My pup, Leia, has been going to NYC Pet Services since she was about 3 months old (whenever she got all of her shots). Shes now 2 years old. There are times, depending on my husband and my work schedule, that she goes everyday day. She LOVES it there! She pulls me down the block to get there. My pup is very social and just loves all the pups and staff. Shes very active, so I love that they have a large open space so she can run and play. She comes home and turns into the sleepiest pup. She also bordes a few nights a month. Its all open- cots, blankets, snuggle fest. There are a few people Id like to mention: Sam, the owner, has been nothing but wonderful. Chris picks her up and drops her off and Leia is just in love with him! She goes crazy when he knocks on our door. Joyce has always been super nice and attentive. Special shout out to Yaz and her bro Emosh. Yaz has been here from day one. So sweet, but also is very good at training. Yaz is alpha at Pet Services and its has helped Leia so much. Emosh is a big mush with Leia. They both go above and beyond to make sure shes fed, medicine is administered properly, etc... they text us photos with updates, or post on to Pet Services Instagram. They are really on top if their game and show every pet so much love. Its a hard job working with animals. You an tell its truly rewarding for them. I wouldnt want my pup in anyone elses hands.

Ive been bringing my pup Miles here for daycare for the past few months, and Im really happy with our experience so far. Miles isnt an easy dog to take care of- hes a rescue who was VERY traumatized when we got him, and hes terrified of new people. Yaz and Emosh (staff at NYCPS) have been a godsend for our pup. They went above and beyond to ease him into the daycare environment and help to socialize him. In the beginning, Miles would literally pee himself whenever a new person got too close. Now, he loves the staff there and actually runs up to them when I drop him off. We call NYCPS his doggy therapy because it really is like therapy for him to be socialized under Yaz and Emoshs careful watch.I read a couple of negative reviews on here, and honestly I just think some people have unrealistic expectations for doggy daycare. If you want 1:1 staff to dog ratios and fancy cameras to spy on your dog from home and all that, you can find a bougie place on the UES and pay 4 times as much. This place is affordable and has everything our dog needs and wants- I have no interest in paying more for unnecessary frills.

The best dog daycare in Astoria hands down! The amazing workers are so attentive and playful and Max absolutely loves them. The facility gets cleaned around the clock and I love that there is ample space for the dogs to play and run around. Will be dropping Max of next week 💛💛

My Frenchie has been coming here for about 2 years now and it is by far his favorite day of the week! He’s busting down the door at 7:30 and has to be bribed out with cookies when it’s time to leave. He loves the staff and I feel comfortable with him in their care. At the end of the day he’s tired and well behaved! It’s a great outlet for him to play, socialize and have some company while I work. We love it!

Grooming Review !I’ve had my labradoodle for two years now and I’ve tried two other groomers in Astoria in the beginning and by far Jenn (@itsgroomsbyjenn) has been the BEST ! When she switched locations we had to follow her to her new spot. Not only does Jenn listen to how you want your fur baby’s cut, she is also the sweetest person I’ve met. I have never left disappointed after a cut, it has always been perfect. Even when I tell her not to cut the tip of my dogs tail “fur” she listens (white tip on tail). I can easily trust her by leaving my little one with her. If I can give more than 5 stars I would !

I can not thank nycps enough ! During this covid-19 pandemic they have helped care for my pooch while I have been working day and night at the hospital. I was hesitant at first due to a prior experience from another local daycare but Sam and her team assured me she would be in safe hands and they didnt lie. They even offered me a discount, but I declined kindly as they were actually helping me out, and I wanted to show them my appreciation.My pup comes home happy, tired. I can tell she had a good time and was taken care of very well. I will be raving about nycps for months to come and Im beyond thankful to have found them especially during these hard times! Talk about a company that is unprofessional. Looked at the reviews and talk about a display of the owner and workers trying to spin the story from a particular negative review. My dog came once and I was definitely going to bring them again , the groomer was truly wonderful. But as a instagram follower of both Beth and Jenn. I am shocked that an owner would keep two employees that act immature and unprofessional as these two. Their instagrams is a constant attack of people who bring their dogs and that they are having a disagreement about. Im going to guess Alyssas review left them feeling particularly salty, that instead of someone from the business replying to rectify the situation , they have asked or are obviously paying individuals to respond to her review to make their business look good.NOW i do not believe the positive reviews and im left wondering should i bring my dog there. I mean if youre worker is sick and they arent able to rectify the situation by coming in a extra hour early or something how do i know the same would not be done to me. & then to harass your customers with another employee and then have people comment to make you business look better. Yeah as a GROWN adult im disappointed to see such a thing.I hope they learn to conduct a better business & actually hire ADULTS and not children. Especially if you look at their instagram. Sam is great with my cat, V! Ive been using NYC Pet Services for in-home cat sitting since May 2016. Sam came to the house and met V and familiarized herself not only with the house but cared about the details that make my cat comfortable. Ive used her cat sitting services for all my business and family travel while Im away and each and every time I come home to a cared for and happy cat! Her check ins put me at ease and the service is a cinch! Thank you Sam! Youre a lifesaver!

This was the first daycare we looked at and we have no complaints. Yogi started at 3 months old and is now 5 months old. He goes 4 times a week for half days and he runs there every day once we are on the same block. He absolutely loves Beth, Laura, and Juan. They are his day care family. They are all very friendly and very tentative to Yogi. We watch on the camera and Olga is very fast with cleaning up after all the dogs. I love all the pics and videos they send us everyday he is there. Yogi always has a smile on his face!

The workers are very reliable people they treat my dog amazing and when he comes home he is tired out from such a good day at daycare.The staff is super nice and friendly they make my experience enjoyable. I travel a lot and have used many bording services in NYC and out of state for my 9 month old Beagle pup but this place is so far the best in providing updates and answering questions quick. We went away and had to leave our bichon there for a week. We were extremely pleased with their professionalism and the way they communicated with us for the week that our dog was there. We’ve since used their daycare services on numerous occasions. We’d definitely recommend their services.

I absolutely love this place! I had Zeus my German Shepard/husky board with them and I am so happy I found this place. Since this was the first time we we’re going to be away from him we were so sad and nervous, thankfully Beth and the staff took amazing care of him and sent us multiple pictures and updates daily. I take my girls there for day care, grooming and baths we could not be happier when I pick them up after a bath they smell like roses clean as a whistle. I took my 7 year old goffin cockatoo (bird) and these people took such great care of her!! They knew how much she meant to me that: they repeatedly sent me photos and videos via text: that made me feel so much better!

I left my husky for a few days while I was on vacation & i am so pleased 🤩🤩 my baby is acting normal and happy 🐕 i Can tell he had a good time and was given love and attention as I requested 😍 will be returning for sure

It is an understatement how this place has been a blessing to my frenchie and I. The care and love the staff share with each fur baby makes you feel secure when you’re away — with frequent photo updates, feeding, relief walks, rest times, and daily activities to keep your puppy happy and healthy. Daycare days are the only days Alfred will get out of bed for…and for an anxious person, I’m so happy this place has given me ease of mind that Alfred is having the time of his life.

Our dog Zuzu loves going to day care at NYC Pet Services. She gets so excited when she realizes where we are headed when we drop her off. Beth and the rest of the crew treat Zuzu as if she were their own and we are so grateful to have such a great day care right in the neighborhood.

Ive been bringing Marie to NYC Pet Services for two years and I cant imagine taking her anywhere else. Whether she stays there while Im at work for the day or away for a week, she always comes home happy and most importantly, tired! (this is no small feat for my crazy pup). My favorite thing about NYC Pet Services is that the terrific staff constantly sends pictures of my dog while shes staying there, which gives me peace of mind when I have to leave her for a few days. This is easily the best doggy daycare in NYC!

Ive been bringing my rescue pup, Dex, since January of this year. He was always very sweet and curious, but incredibly shy his first few months in the city. NYC Pets has been nothing short of incredible in customer service, friendliness, and helping Dex come out of his shell. He goes weekly and has been boarded the few weekends I had to work out of town. I always get a full report of Dexs day(s) and they always let me know of his great milestones. They are also kind to give reminders, send pictures, and give tips/suggestions for training. The staff really love what they do and it shows. I always feel comfortable sending Dex to them; I know hes in the best care. Highly recommend!

The most amazing doggy daycare in NYC! My dog has the best time - everyone, especially Beth and Juan, is so thoughtful and caring. NYC Pets is amazing. We send our little man Niko there 3 to 4 times a week. He always comes home exhausted from a long day. We absolutely love nyc pet services and so happy we discovered them. They recently opened up a second location that is beautiful and HUGE. They go above and beyond for every dog and I can say this because I have personally witnessed the love they show each dog individually. The staff is always professional and constantly interacting with the dogs. We get constant updates while Luna is at daycare and videos as well.One of the main reasons we love them so much is for how clean they keep the facility and attentive they are to all my dogs needs. She always comes home clean and smelling good and happy. I cant thank them enough for everything they helped us with and the love they show Luna. We highly recommend—your pup will be in good hands.

They we super sweet and couldnt have been more comforting. We live about 20 away but chose NYCPS because of the excellent reviews we had read. When I went to pick up Molly she didnt want to leave, which is a really good sign in my eyes.Thank you for making us feel so comfortable with leaving our girl with you. If my dog Molly is happy then we are. Thank you for everything guys, would definitely recommend to everyone I know.

Honestly if I could give 10 stars I would. I was doggy-sitting my parents dog and unexpectedly needed to leave the house, so last minute I was looking for someone to come stay with my VERY anxious dog. Called the place and luckily enough Yaz was available. Within minutes it felt like I know her for years. She was so warm, kind, easy going and most importantly trustworthy and responsible. My high maintenance anxious pup warmed up to her within minutes! The reassuring texts and picture updates were also a major plus in easing my own anxiety of leaving. Thank you Yaz, you are a gem and NYC pet services are lucky to have you.
