Update: the place needs proper cleaning on a regular basis. There is dog poop everywhere and it smells bad. Whenever I go here I try to clean as much as possible and hose the place down. If all of us would try and keep the place neat it would be a lot better.I cant recommend this place enough! So many nice and caring dog owners that are respectful towards their next. I come here with my dog and my 1 1/2 year old (he is very good and gentle with dogs and whenever a new owner with a pup enters the run I pick him up and give the dog space to settle in not to get overwhelmed by a dog fanatic toddler). The run is clean, there are water fountains for the dogs to drink from and also cool off and there is also a little Kiddie pool for them. Love it! Coming back every day!

I recommend the place to take your dog to get active and socialize. It is quite spacious and there are sections for large and small dogs, there are also internal benches and the facilities are well located. I recommend you bring water for your pets because there is no water to give them as much they are thirsty

Its great to have a paved dog park and the fact that the park is under the bridge is great for a rainy day. Lots of friendly dogs and lot of space for them to run. The city could do a bit more to keep it clean and functional, but its still better than the average dog park in the city

Great dog run, lots of space and water available.Only negative about this dog run is how much urine is on the concrete. Would be great if people would walk their dogs a bit before bringing them in so they get the urine out not in the area they play in.

Great local place if your dog likes to run off leash but you want safety. But I wish there was some regular maintenance. Too many people dont clean up after their dogs and the main gate is already broken (Its hard to get it open and closed). Some owners, especially in the big dog area, dont pay attention and let their dogs hump other dogs which is asking for a fight. So the location is fine but it would be better with more conscientious dog owners. The small dog area is good and the owners are better at monitoring behavior but unfortunately its often empty or just 1 or 2 small pups playing. Small dog owners unite!

WE LOVES THIS PARK! Pups and parents are so, so, so nice and friendly. Theres water fountains and bowls to quench your pups thirst. Theres some mounds and rocks to give different ground levels. Theres benches to sit on. Theres a large and small dog division as well as a security gate! I RECOMMEND THIS PARK :)

Large concrete park with ample running room. Located under highway overpass so can be quite noisy. Next to basketball courts if your dog doesn’t like large groups of people.

Great spot for dogs, spacious. Unfortunately owners sometimes are quite trashy. My dog ate a facemask because an owner dropped it, sometimes they dont clean up after their dog, and sometimes they are distracted to tend to their dog if they are doing something they shouldnt. However the majority of the owners are nice and clean, my dog has never had an issue with another dog.Weve been going to this park since summer 2020.

Very spacious dog park with onsite water, hose, a dog pool and trash can (for when nature calls). Its great for the dog owners too as it has multiple benches to sit on and lots of space in the shade and under the bridge so that you can stay cool away from the sun or dry if theres a passing shower.

The concept is great but forgot one tiny but important thing, the whole park is concrete. Try running barefoot at full speed then slide on that concrete play ground. Now thinks about your pups. Someone should go back to drawing board and redo the park. Now, if you want your dogs to have fun, come by the barking lot in Forest Park.

Nice size playground for the dogs. Plus side is that the one section is always for dogs. Negative is that for dogs who are not good with loud noises, being under the bridge may not be the best suitable.

Great dog run. Big, clean, and has a fresh water pump. Dog should be socially well behaved as it is often very crowded.

Concrete covered medium sized dog run. Most of the other owners appeared to be active with their dogs. Easy to get into and its under the bridge, so it is shaded. You need to bring water for your dogs as they turn the water off there.

Much better place than Astoria Park, for dogs to run around and play. No tickets or dirty looks here, for letting your dog off the leash. People hate that at Astoria Park. TBPT has the bridge overhead for shade and rain. Theres a fountain, and several structures, for dogs of all sizes. Plus, (unlike Astoria Park), you dont have to worry about those crazy dirt bike riders speeding through the park.

DO NOT BRING YOUR DOG HERE!!! i have a 6 month old puppy who was attacked here and had to get 2 surgeries following the attack, no one took responsibility for the injuries my dog sustained. Aggressive and poorly socialized dogs and dog owners have been here when we went (before the attack). seriously if you go make sure you’re HYPER VIGILANT while your pups are playing. no one should have to go what my dog and i went through

Big and clean, its great to have a nice dog run in Astoria. Its sectioned off for big and little dogs, and the larger section has a great amount of space for all the dogs to rub around in.

Great addition to the area! Wish it wasn’t allSmooth concrete, my old pup won’t run on it but still a great park. Good people/dogs generally.

We hear constant barking all day long. They said they were building something to block out the noise but they never did. Park closes at 9 people are in there till mid night. Terrible

Awesome dog run in Astoria. It’s located right under the bridge but so far noise doesn’t seem to bother any of the dogs. Really big space with lots of room to run around, and water hose in the summer for splashing and drinking.
