We love Bark & Bone! We’ve been using Bark & Bone for 5+ years for our dog Bruce. From his early days as a new puppy till now, Bark & Bone have been phenomenal. They make booking walks a total breeze. Bruce loves his walks and all of the local pups he gets to hang with each day! We highly recommend Bark & Bone to any other dog owners!

I was very nervous when I had to go back into the office and we needed to find a Dogwalker for our dog. I wanted to make sure we found a reliable service with kind and gentle people taking care of our dog Junior. Everyone at Bark and Bone has been amazing for the past year, taking such great care of our boy. They alleviated my fears right away. Bark and Bone started walking our doggie Miles earlier this year and we couldnt be happier with the service they provide. Theyre very responsive and always accommodating if I need to cancel a walk or re-schedule it. I love that the walker sends updates immediately after the walk is over and takes pics of how the walk went. Ive attached some pics of our happy dog that the walkers have taken on various walks. Wonderful company that we hope to use for as long as our little guy still has working legs :)!

We adopted Sophie in October. While my partner has continued his commute to the office throughout the pandemic, Ive just started going back to the office. Ive been anxious about transitioning from being at home with Sophie full time to going into the office a few days a week, but knowing that shes in Bark & Bones capable hands has made the process so much easier. Dawn, who walks Sophie, provides detailed reports about what Sophie and her pup pals are up to, including, as others have mentioned, great quality photos. Getting a notification that a report is ready is one of the highlights of my day (and my coworkers love looking at them too). The app is user friendly and intuitive, and the whole team is super responsive. Coming home to a happy, well-exercised dog is the best! Highly recommend!

We love Bark&Bone! When my husband and I moved to a new area of the neighborhood, our dog Barley had a hard time feeling confident walking down the street. We decided to enlist the help of Bark&Bone to take him on socialization walks with other dogs who were confident walkers to show him there was nothing to be afraid of! Kelsey, our weekly walker, is always on time and you can tell she really cares about the pups she walks and Barley has become much more confident. We also cant get enough of the photo updates!

Honestly, so happy I found Bark and Bone. The team there is so reliable, accommodating, and communicative.My corgi is now 2 and enjoys long walks now instead of playing at the dog park/day care. Bark & Bone has been able to provide us with just what he needs in terms of his exercise requirements and socialization. Charley gets 1 hour walks usually with a small group of dogs. Upon returning home, the walker (usually Dawn or Yuni) give him treats, and even give him his lickmat I leave in the freezer for him. They even refill his water bowl. They do a superb job and send loads of pictures and updates!It’s such a great service for people who work long days - I’m comfortable leaving Charley home knowing Bark n Bone is scheduled to come later in the day.If you’re in the Astoria area, don’t hesitate to book with Bark & Bone, give your dog what they deserve (love & long walks from some angelic humans) 😊

I cant say enough positive things about Bark&Bone. Theyre very flexible with walking schedule, easy communication via their portal, and we love that we get information and pics from the walk! Even during the summer heatwave, they ensure Auggie has enough water, shade, and time to cool off during the walks. They certainly treat your pup as their own!

We Love Bark & Bone! We got a puppy in February and our biggest concern was around what we would do when we had to return to the office. I reached out to Olivia at Bark & Bone to learn more about their services, and she was incredibly helpful since the first conversation. Their puppy play service is perfect! It has allowed us to go to work, and not worry about the care our puppy was receiving while we were gone. Our puppy has so much fun when Bark & Bone arrives! We love the fact that we generally get the same few people who come by, so they can build a relationship with our puppy. It is super easy to schedule visits, and we particularly love the detailed reports and photos after each one. Bark & Bone has been a game-changer for our journey as puppy parents. 10/10 would recommend!

I moved to Astoria last August and asked around for recommendations for a dog walker. Bark & Bone came highly recommended, so I gave them a call.From the first email with the owner, Olivia, I knew this company was a great fit — very personable and down to earth. Their manager, Dawn, came to my apartment to meet me and my dog, Diva, a few days later, and Diva instantly fell in love with her 😂 i was so happy to find out Dawn would be walking Diva!Dawn comes once a week, and I swear it’s the highlight of Diva’s week. Dawn always leaves the cutest report card- equip with pics from their walks/cuddle sessions!It is such a weight off to know that Diva is in great hands on Thursdays. 100000000/10 recommend!!

Our puppy Pippa loves all of their dog walkers. They always make sure to send detailed updates and photos, which makes it easier to be at the office! We can’t say enough good things about this dog walking service, specifically Caleb! We have a Bernedoodle that is a gentle giant, but also a little anxiety ridden and a scaredy cat. Caleb has been so patient with him and allowed him to explore at his own pace. He also knew just the right pups that would get along with ours to do social walks. So happy we switched to Bark&Bone! Compared to the larger dog walking companies in NYC, this one you can tell that they truly care about your pets. Ive never been worried about what happens when we arent there and really trust the people theyve hired, even if its a new dog walker they always do a great job. Also, the daily updates with pictures always have a little something extra thats personalized as opposed to the other companies that literally send the same message every single time. Response time to questions is also always super fast!

Im fairly certain that Pennys daily dog walk update is the highlight of my husbands and my afternoon. In addition to a message, the update has cute and funny graphics that show what happened on the walk. We just moved from Astoria, and the hardest part of leaving was saying goodbye to our amazing dog walker Michael, and the team at Bark & Bone! We used Bark & Bone for 3+ years, and could not be happier with the service we received. They are reliable, trustworthy, and so friendly. Their website makes it extremely easy to change or schedule a walk, and pay our bill -- we love the ease and convenience, and Olivia is always so prompt in her communication with us. Our pup, Wilson, is a very shy boy, but he was in love with our walker, Michael, who treated him with so much love and care. We loved getting the daily report card with detailed notes and photos -- it gave us such peace of mind to know our little guy was always taken care of. They take some great action shots! My dog absolutely loves all of his walkers and I like that sometimes he gets a canine walking buddy to help him socialize. Hes still a puppy so can be a little too playful and I appreciate that they recognized he wasnt ready for group walks yet and are still working with him to understand a walk is not playtime. Olivia and her team (Dave, Liz and Cal) have been wonderful with our puppy, Scout. We have been using Bark & Bone since Scout was about 13 weeks old for daily puppy visits. Olivias team visits Scout a couple of times a day while we are at work. They play with her, feed her and take her outside. We (Scout included!) wouldnt be able to survive without those daily puppy visits. I wholeheartedly recommend Bark & Bone for any new or seasoned pet parents.

Bark & Bone are the best dog walkers in the neighborhood, we got our puppy 3 months ago and they have been great from the beginning when she was so tiny and didn’t know how to do anything, or why she was being brought outside, to now going on walks with her pup friends from the building or neighborhood. The owner Olivia is great and so is our main dog walker Kelsey! The highlight of my afternoon at work is getting the update in the app of what my pup did that afternoon and seeing pictures of her from her walk! My pup and I love Bark & Bone! Im living that busy grown lady life, so I find it really beneficial to work with a firm/outfit/service/small business like B&B versus an independent dog walker (no shade though!) because if the dog walker has something come up in their schedule, I know that Bark & Bone will make sure my dog gets a walk and I wont have to scramble to figure something out. All of that AND the walkers themselves are lovely, communicative people. My dog has a sixth sense of when they enter the building downstairs - he is up and at the door by the time get there, ready to smother them with wet kisses. Bark & Bone has a really useful app where I can put in my scheduling requests and where they also send me pictures and summaries of their walk. My dog **is** the goodest boy, but he also likes to stir sh*it up sometimes, and I appreciate their honest input in the summary of the walk - whether hes pulling too much or maiming a pigeon - because it helps me know what I need to be doing for him. I highly recommend Bark & Bone - cant say enough good things.

Olivia saved our lives. Our cat got diagnosed with kidney issues a few years ago and requires daily sub-Q fluids, and she has taken such wonderful care of him whenever were away. Kelsey and the whole crew at Bark and Bone have truly been lifesavers for my fiancee and I as new dog parents! Our rescue girl Fox adores Kelsey and the friends shes gotten to meet on her walks. Olivia and Cal are incredibly responsive and flexible and I never have to worry about last minute changes to Foxs schedule. Since Fox is a rescue, she has had some issues with anxiety and socialization. Kelsey has handled this all with grace and ease and I never have to worry about the care of my little fur friend when she is in the hands of Bark and Bone.

Bark and bone has been so wonderful caring for our older dog! They dutifully give her her medicine, clean up accidents (an unfortunate part of being a senior dog owner) and are unbelievably reliable! We couldn’t be happier to use their services weekly.

My experience with Bark&Bone has been simply - excellent. Olivia is fantastic and really cares about our little pup, Lili, which makes us feel comfortable about leaving Lili in her care. Also, the puppy app that B&B uses post walk is user friendly, and fun to read. Bark&Bone was recommended to us by a friend and we highly recommend them as well! I have a very nervous dog who doesn’t necessarily like walks outside and is fearful of traffic and loud noise, etc, but the team at Bark&Bone has been so helpful with getting her to walk - we have it set up that she goes with another calm confident dog, and Cal is very gentle and understanding with her. She is making strides each time, getting more comfortable with walking with her dog friend for support! I love the team and will always rely on them as long as I’m in the area.

Weve had a great experience with Olivia and her team. Olivia, Dave, and Liz have been walking our one-year old terrier, Clementine, since we brought her home from the shelter in November. We love getting our mid-day note from Clems walker telling us about her time outside- and it sometimes includes a photo! Unfortunately after all this time, Bark & Bone peeps havent made it into his inner circle, I DONT KNOW WHY. Ive had a fantastic experience with Olivia and Cal, who came in on short notice to start walking my senior foster dog. They always read the details of the notes I leave and write me after walking Annie to let me know how it went (often with photos included). Let me start by saying that my obsessive rambling about my baby is sometimes a put off for the people I interview to take care of the light of my life. Thankfully, however, Olivia was not! She was attentive to my, as well as my babys, needs. Even though he is a big ball of love, most people are apprehensive about bringing him on a group walk with smaller dogs, but Olivia showed him the same attention and love when she met him that I do. After a few conversations and meeting with her, Olivia has been a reliable care taker of Baby when Im not around. If I had to list a con, I would say its that baby could probably eat her if he was hungry enough.

I would never trust my pup with anyone else. Olivia and her staff are the best and they take safety very seriously. I love the updates and pictures we get after a walk, it always makes my day at work.

Normally when we go on vacation, our little cat Poppy gets lonely. Cats get lonely too! Weve come home from trips before and she meows nonstop for 10 minutes. Last time though, Bark&Bone took care of Poppy for a week, and not only was she well fed, and had her litter cleaned, but she had some company while we were away! Well definitely be coming back!

I recommend Bark & Bone. THEY ARE THE BEST !!They are angels for me and my kitties. I have an elder cat with kidney desease who require fluid IV. They came for medical treatment during my abcense with a lot of love.My another cat is always hideing with unknow people but only with Cal, she seems comes out for eat. I was amazed. Dose he has any magic to attract cat?? I was worried about leaving my kitties but they contact me after every visit with nice pictures of my kitties, which made me feel releved.

Bark N Bone are the best in the area. We went through various other dog walking companies in Astoria. Both Olivia and Cal have been the most accommodating and nicest to our two pups. Our grumpy ol lady loves them and shes hard to get through. Would highly recommend them to anyone looking for reliable and thoughtful sitters/walkers.
