I brought my puppy here for the first time last week and he absolutely loved it. very nice and the hostess was beyond helpful and overall just a bundle of joy. She always checked in to make sure I was ok always made sure that my dog had water. Always asked if I needed anything else. informed me of their specials if you book a reservation, you get a free mimosa. She also gave me a free chai latte, which was delicious. My dog really enjoyed his peanut butter pancakes. with blueberries and whip cream, and I had the butterscotch pancakes with fruit as well and syrup and it’s just a really nice place to hang out with your dogs. There’s the brunch area where you eat with your dog and then there’s another area that allows dogs inside kind of like a mini indoor dog play pen area. Overall 10/10 i highly recommend and would definitely go back again with friends too!
One of my favorite iced chais in astoria! cute cafe with lots of cute pups coming and going. lots of outdoor seating in the front as well which is great for the warm weather
An exceptional place to bring your dog, and socialize with great people (even if you dont have a dog). This is THE best dog cafe in NYC.For the past few months, me and my 6 month old puppy, Zion, love coming here from the UES, it is a quick, joyful, ferry ride and walk to be cafe! The staff is attentive, friendly and helpful and explain the different areas to order and eat, the off leash area, and then the leash cafe/restaurant area. I really like this place since it is relaxdd and casual, but most of all, all dog owners here are attentive, kind and responsible to maintain the upbeat and fun atmosphere! I like the food, the breakfast burrito is my favorite! They have vegan and non vegan sandwiches, etc. and also sell wine and beer. They have plenty of yummy dog cute food, and clothes too. Lots of events as well.Enjoy your time here, support your local shop and community! Were excited to come back every time!
Amazing dog cafe! Literally a cornerstone of our community, Natasa and her lovely team have built a haven for pups, coffee drinkers, brunch lovers, remote workers and event throwers! Cant imagine this neighborhood without Chateau :-) perfect for a daily latte trip or a venture in from the city, its right next to the ferry!
Sandwich is really good and very reasonable priced. Good selection of dog food. My dog loves pupper cup ice cream here.
First time at Chateau Le Woof and Im ready to visit again! The main entrance has a sign that indicates dogs can enter on the left and the cafe is on the right. The doggy side has an indoor off leash dining area that is gated. The cafe menu has food for humans and dogs. The coffee was unexpectedly really good!
Fun and laid back place. was great to sit inside and have a coffee with my pup, and then wander over to the play area. very chill and lots of dogs coming by!
Cute spot for a chill brunch with your dog. Our pup had raw turkey neck and we got the tofu scramble and gruyere croissant. All food was delicious - service was a little slow but we were not bothered since we were just having a quiet chill Sunday. Tons of cute dog items and a play space available for dogs to meet and play together. Our pup has a blast will definitely come again !
Literally, My frenchie grew up here (still growing). A hidden gem dog/ human cafe for everyone, always has the perfect atmosphere and ambience. Best coffee and food in Astoria, variety of drinks, pet supplies, has indoor playground for dogs, nice and cozy! (Well, the place is fancy). There is an event venue where you can celebrate any occasion, you name it! Brunch is the best especially in weekends, live music, food and drinks are available, the crews are great! The owner is so brilliant and genius. She created this warm community for everyone! “It’s a family.” Nothing beats the atmosphere of this gem in NYC. I love going to coffee shops to unwind… the alfresco set up is facing the East river with Manhattan skyline. I wouldn’t imagine that this is part of my daily activities. Cheers to more success and blessings Natassa! You do what you love! Always, Scout Dior
Came here for the Dog brunch and ended up getting brunch for myself. My dog REALLY enjoyed the food here and I loved the Cheese Plate, Chorizo Wrap, and Lavender Pancakes. Staff here was very friend and made some great recommendations on treats for my dog.
This place is a hidden gem 💎 of Astoria. They serve the best most beautiful high quality coffee, delicious pastries. And brunch on the weekends. This place feels like home ♥️
Amazing experience! We walking in to get a cappuccino and a tea, the lady on the counter makes you feel you welcomed. The hot tea was good, my wife as daughter love the cappuccino with a blueberry muffin. If you seat on the outside chair you can enjoy the view of the Socrates park and manhattan.Definitely will come back!!
This is the best place to buy special dog treats. They have a variety of birthday biscuits and all sorts of snacks, including dog ice cream! They also sell dog toys and there’s a large space set aside as an indoor play area to just hang out. I bought a couple birthday biscuits for my dog which she absolutely loved.Next door there’s a legit café with the two areas separated by a large glass window. The staff were all super friendly and it all made for a great experience.I’ll definitely be coming back here with my dog to get a coffee, pick up more treats, and just hang out with other dogs and owners in a Parisian-themed atmosphere.
All I have to say is… GO GO GO support! The owner and her staff make you feel at home. It was my dogs first time around other dogs and ppl (because she’s a puppy) and the clientele, staff and other dogs made us feel right at home! This establishment is needed in every boro, every city and every state! You won’t be disappointed. Make your reservation TODAY! Oh, and follow them on IG!
I loved this place for Sunday brunch. Well-behaved doggies, a candle lit room out the back with live jazz, excellent food and friendly service. I had tofu scramble. Everything on the plate was delicious. The sour dough bread was lightly toasted. The salad was fresh. Everything was tasty!
Love this place it’s awesome cafe and next door is a play room for your pup it’s amazing. I love the whole concept we need more places like this. I got a large matcha latte. Was delicious!!! They also serve alcohol if you’re feeling like drinking an adult beverage instead.
Super cool coffee/bakery next door to the pet store that is dog friendly and allows the dogs to bring their owners along too 🙂The everything croissant was amazing and they make a great cortado!
Discovered this dog friendly cafe across the street from the Socrates Sculpture Park in Astoria today and loved it! For a special birthday dog brunch, our Chocolate Labrador and our Shiba happily gobbled up pancakes with blueberries, and we enjoyed our French Toast, pancakes and iced cappuccino. Friendly and welcoming service, great food, and a relaxed vibe. Hope to be back at the Chateau again soon!
This pet cafe paradise has everything from doggy ice cream to grooming and doggy birthday party service. There is also a shed with outdoor seating. The coffee is decent. What more could you ask?
The idea of this place is great but the reality wasn’t as good as hoped. There are very few tables to sit down and in the dog area a dog was barking incessantly during his grooming session with the door wide open which meant it was hard to have a conversation and gave the place a general feeling of tension and chaos. The food was ok but overpriced and coffee really sour.
Yes, you should go and enjoy! Lovely venue, lovely attentive staff, great vibes, great music, cute decor and space for dogs to just play. Attended doggie birthday brunch and had a blast. Delicious food with high quality ingredients and vegan options. Separate doggie menu- with variety! I’ll be back with or without my dog.
It was a great experience, everyone there is super friendly and dog friendly as well. It also had a calm and jazzy atmosphere too.If I ever am back in New York Ill have to try one of there other sammiches.
Such a great neighborhood spot. the toasted herb focaccia and the pumpkin spice chai are out of this WORLD- and I dont like anything else thats pumpkin spice flavor from anywhere else. love going here
Amazing and so cute!! Had a lot of spaces so we saw someone coworking with their dog, a cafe for humans + dogs, and so many…dog treats and cuteness! And dogs!! 🐕🥰🐶
I recently visited this coffee shop and was delighted by their great coffee, inviting ambiance, and tasty food. However, I would steer clear of the desserts. They source them from Sensible Edibles, known for vegan and gluten-free options, but unfortunately, these treats don’t do justice to vegan cuisine. The desserts, like the carrot cake and muffin I sampled, were overly sugary and dry, lacking the moist texture and flavor you’d expect. Enjoy the main offerings, but maybe skip the sweets!
I recently visited as I was drawn in by what I viewed online. Upon arrival, I noticed the cashier interacting warmly with the customers ahead of me, which made me look forward to a pleasant experience. However, when it was my turn to order, the tone of the cashiers service took a turn. While her words were not outright rude, the condescending tone made me feel unwelcome and uncomfortable. It was disappointing, especially since I was excited about this cafe. Unfortunately, this experience has made me decide not to return.Regarding the food, the veggie wrap was filled with large halves of white potatoes, soggy red and green peppers, onions, mushrooms, and black beans. Nothing to write home about and a little on the wet side (likely due to the contents and it being wrapped up). Not worth the schlep to Astoria. 🥺
This spot is a unique gem! Part loungey cafe, part dog play park, and it has dog supplies as well as a dog grooming service. Here is what I suggest if you want to come here and get acquainted with Astoria: start your journey at a classic seafood restaurant like Hamido. Then take a slow long walk through a quiet Astoria residential area to the serene Noguchi Museum. Then walk through Socrates Park and that will lead you to Chateau le Woof, where you can kick back with a coffee and pastry in a loveseat or in the dog play area, contemplating all the cool things you did on your Astoria adventure.
Fantastic place!! Great drinks and yummy foodIf you’re looking for a dog groomer Luis is The Best. No cookie cutter cuts. Your pup will look like an elevated version of him/herself when Luis has worked his magic.
We had the vegan breakfast wrap with vegan chipolte sauce. So Good! Also a little spot for our dog to run around off leash next door.
Simply one of the best dog-centric, people friendly and welcoming coffee shops in nyc. my pup and i have been regulars since 2020 — and its been a happy place for us since.natassa and crew offer some of the most delish small batch and independent roasted coffee (some days made by award winning barista).. and the cool thing is that this one of a kind place more than coffee!think carefully curated menu, natural / organic wine for us humans — and equally bespoke dog necessities, food, treats and gear.ongoing events that bring locals and pet owners alike out for a social afternoon or early evening — music, arts, food mobiles, pet portraiture ++you can forget enduring the rain or cold, there’s a canine social area — where pups can roam off leash while their owners coffee klatch 😊my gal feels right at home and happy here, so that adds more sparkly feels to this already gem spot.ps — the breakfast wraps are a++ and they also offer gluten free baked goods
Great local spot to grab a cup of coffee and hang out with dog
A doggy day care center + coffee shopThey serve excellent coffee from Le Colombe and Balthazar pastries. They also have restrooms for clients. Their outdoor setup doesn’t have heating. They said they have jazz performances on warmer days. The decor is cozy and cute, staff super friendly and fun. Can’t wait till spring.Oh, they are opening a biodynamic +natural wine shop/organic grocery shop next door called “Marche le Woof.” Look forward to shopping there soon!!
Cute place! Can enjoy coffee while the pups play! The staff were so prideful of their beautiful coffee art and love their job working with dogs. Will be back. Pumpkin had a great time.
Such a great experience every time but especially this time. My dog escaped her collar before her grooming outside the store and ran into traffic and into the park across the street. I went running after her. Two employees dropped everything came running out to help me get her back as soon as it happened, offered a harness and helped calm me and my dog down. I am so grateful for these kind people and owe it to them that I got my dog back. On top of all of that, great coffee, food, and grooming. They have my business forever!
Food is awesome. They got the orders a bit wrong but that is easily solved by training. Other than that, we highly recommend the place. It is not only a great place for our fur babies but for paw parents as well. Try their brunch menu.
Tried to get brunch with a friend here. I was asked by the host if we had reservations (we did not and I said that) but the host checked if there was room and told us we were okay to sit at a table and seated us. We were seated and given one menu for 2 ppl. We waited a little bit and then someone else came over and asked if we had a reservation (a weird thing to ask ppl already seated). I said no, but we had been seated by the host. We were given a second menu and I offered that we were prepared to order and was told no that wasn’t possible at that time and the person went about talking to another table. So we just sort of sat there in the feeling that we very much were not wanted in this establishment and then eventually just decided to leave bc why give money and patron a place that clearly doesn’t want you there? So I wouldn’t go back.
An indispensable part of the Astoria. The owner Natassa is an incredibly thoughtful community builder. The staff are attentive, and the food is wonderful (many delicious vegan options too).
Went in for a sandwich, left with a friend. This amazing café has handcrafted coffees made to order that are just plain fantastic. A barista named Steven greeted my wife and I and we genuinely bonded with a conversation about everything and nothing haha. The vibe of this place is rustic modern and super welcoming. You can bring your dog and have brunch with friends and just relax. They also do doggy grooming and you can host a party here and rent the beautiful space if you’d like.I randomly walked into this place and am so happy that there is something like this in the neighborhood. Check it out if you haven’t, they’re all about doggies but they don’t bite!
Cool place but not a convenient location as its far and near the Costco area. The place is warm and simply decorated. I didnt like the coffee at all so I dont recommend it. Stick to the tea.
Went here to catch up with a friend and wanted a place where I could also bring my pup because hes been cooped up due to the rain. Unfortunately, my pup was on his worst behavior, but the staff here are SUPER nice and accommodating. I didnt get to try the food, but the atmosphere was great. Everyone was so nice and accepting. They also had a variety of treats that I couldnt choose which one to purchase. Definitely a great place to bring your well-behaved pup!
One side for dogs. The other a cafe. Separated areas. Its pretty nice. You can also order and pick up your item at the dog side, so you can sip your drink while still hanging out with your pup. We went to check it out. And its great! Wish there was a location nearer to us.You sign a waiver that lasts a year about safety and liability. Everyone is responsible for their dog(s), clean up and making sure their dog plays nice with others.Order a beer, coffee or hot cocoa and let your dog enjoy play time indoors.
Excellent staff, friendly place, great iced dirty chai and frosé. So lucky to have this place in the neighborhood. Community oriented and very caring owner.
I bring my pup here every now and then. The other pup owners and staff are friendly. The coffee is good. They have space that you can rent out for celebrations and are always hosting different types of events. Fun spot overall.
Today was a such a wonderful day to go out and stop by this place. 5 stars is what I gave bc I felt very appreciated, and my baby felt also good and made friends.I go again soon
My dog Denver LOVES THIS SPOT!!!! Favorite place to spend free time now that I’m a first-time puppy owner. More people in Astoria need to come here - I want them to be blessed with so much business they don’t know what to do! Each employee LOVES LOVES animals and are interested in your story.
The place looked cool, but the coffee was not great and it was a little over priced. I didnt love the service, maybe they are more attentive with their regular customers? Strong dog odor outside. I like dogs, but yeah there is a strong smell.
Deliciously respiteful experience. Great food and beverages, from a great team, and very aligned to the customers interests. Had a range of options, including plant-forward wraps, with the packaging that they used being nearly all recyclable. Plus, its great to be out in daylight with so many pups walking by smiling. Great work Natassa and Team! #HowSheLeads
Loved the chocolate croissant and iced green tea (add sugar to it even if it’s sweetened). Brought my dog here but there wasn’t staff overseeing the dogs like other places we’ve gone to so the big dogs were biting him so we didn’t really enjoy the dog space. They have nice treats for dogs and other services.
As many others have already noted, this place is truly unique. We got our dog 3 months ago and started meeting fellow dog owners in the Astoria neighborhood. After people kept telling me about it, I finally made it there a few weeks ago. Even though it’s a short drive for me, I’ve been going back 3-4 times a week since the initial visit. Our 11 month old pup has a lot of fun socializing and playing with his new friends and the coffee is great. The staff is very friendly and store is well thought out - they put a lot of work into crafting a welcoming environment and curating the best pet products. Conveniently located right across the street from Socrates Park which is also great stop with the pup while in the area (mostly for doing their business since they will be beat after chateau!).
This place is awesome. It has two rooms one for dogs and one for a regular coffee shop. As you can see there is also some pretty good food at a reasonable price. The quiche, some fruit and a latte was around $15 bucks. They even had a santa on xmas eve for free pictures which was awesome. The staff is really nice. Definitely coming back.
Loved the concept, food was good, service was friendly but slow and the atmosphere was good. Id go back and try more things.
A very expensive simple mid-size vegan sandwich for 16$+.Not tasty at all, simple white bread.Service just ok, not too attentive. No correlation between service, quality and cost.Unstisfactory.
The coffee shop is close to the park & they have amazing americanos iced or hot. Their gluten free vegan cookies are overwhelmingly delicious.
I had some pretty cool experiences here. Havent been in a while, and kinda considering going back now. They made me a pretty good veggie sandwich a few years ago. Im vegan, so having an option to eat a really good vegan sandwich in my neighborhood is unmatched.
If you love dogs and coffee this is your place they have amazing products for you and your dog and they can make new friends really nice place and atmosphere
My favorite place to grab an authentic cup of heavenly goodness! (Aka coffee) it’s a super special experience, I totally recommend! Meeting new fur friends, trying new menu items, it’s always a fun and refreshing time ! I recently had family in town from Tampa, they enjoyed the lite bites and espresso— will definitely be back again! (& with the rest of the family!) :)
Had a great time letting my dog play in the off leash area. I enjoyed a delicious sandwich with iced coffee. Absolutely recommend!! Will definitely be going back!!
Legendary place, an astoria staple. Best mocha in town. Only rated them 4 due to high prices and lack of labeling/outdated visible prices. Also i dont think they have a bathroom? Is that correct?I also liked their covered outdoor dining and sad it is gone
Great place for our pups to cool off with ice cream.
My pup’s favorite place! Also great place for humans, good pastries, good coffee, good beers.
Nice local coffee place. Cool drinks with many types of non dairy milk. Adjust to a dog grooming place - they share a window
Great place good drinks and a friendly doggy atmosphere. There’s a little fenced off area where the pups can roam and interact with each other while the puppy parents sit and enjoy their lattes. Will visit again when I’m in the area. Definitely check it out!
Food was actually really good, my dog had a blast, the treats I purchased for him he loved. Really enjoy that this place exists.
We celebrated my friends Pomeranian dog 1st year and the pups with parents had a blast! They offer a small brunch with mimosa as well as cupcakes and dessert which is pet friendly. They also sell little goodies in case you forget something for your loved pet.
Quintessential puppy hangout detto delightful neighborhood cafe with live jazz weekend afternoons.
There are a few gems in NY like this place. A cafe where you can enjoy a really good cup of coffee with you dog.
I dont know who loves this place more, me or my pup! Great coffee, food, and puppy treats, toys, and accessories! My pit mix loves to come here and play - she always leaves with a new toy and a pupper cup. The owner is awesome and always takes the time to say hello and greet the dogs. She puts on great community events too. Highly recommend!
Nice location and good food .but quite high price more than others and if you have a problem against dogs, I cant recommend you because there are many dogs .
I think the kid working the day I went in was new and just not trained very well so I cant fault him at all. But prices did not match what website said and he didnt seem to know the difference between sparkling wine and champagne... a bit overpriced for the service provided. Didnt try the food, kind of glad I didnt. Its fun for the dogs and people who love dogs! And its right across from the park, which is convenient, because they are really the only place.
We had a work meeting in the private room in the back. It was a unique place to have a meeting. Seeing some dogs around while enjoying some coffee and pastries definitely helped enjoy a work meeting much more than a typical cafe.
You gotta book a reservation on their website for brunch, otherwise youre gonna sit outside with your drink only. Food was okay, but the salad was super duper salty for some reason. I love vegetables and always finish my salad, but I couldnt at this place because it was just sooo salty. Aside from the food, everything else was great! Loved the laid-back vibe there and especially the fact that they have a little section in the menu for the puppers. There were a lot of smaller dogs and some well-behaved bigger puppers when we went on a Saturday.By the way, if you have a small dog, dont make the same mistake as I did ordering the duck head. I forgot how big a ducks head was 😂😂😂. Took it back in a box and cut it in half for my dog to have over two days. It was so gross and disturbing having to cut a ducks head open when its face is staring back at you 😂😂😭😭😭. My girl loved eating every last bit of it tho.
Expansive dog cafe with ample seating, a mini dog run, and accessories on sale for dogs. They have coffee but also wine!
So cute and amazing concept. Owner Natassia is amazing!!!! Definitely worth the stop
Plenty seating. Waiting for a friend and then having a long chat before ordering, theres definitely a no rush attitude from staff.Curbside band played. Dogs and owners enjoying a leisured afternoon.A wonderful inside fashionable hideaway to my surprise also. Id enjoy throwing a private party there.
Very cute coffee shop, right across the street from Socrates Park. I only ordered an iced coffee and cookie...Iced coffee was great..very smooth and great flavor. Friendly staff, and of course its very dog friendly...there are treats for 2 legged and four legged individuals 😀
Ive always loved this place. Its really spacious and the staff are really friendly. And the best part is that dogs are welcome. I recommend coming here with your pup 🐶
Absolutely adorable place for your fur baby, took my dog for his 2nd birthday. He had the peanut butter pancakes and loved it, the staff is super friendly. The layout of the place is a bit odd, and the dog off leash play area is a bit small. Other than that the place is great
Great coffee and blueberry pancake with whipped cream! Well-trained staff and kind service are good for everyone. Especially dog owner. Last, try on the finest Greek yogurt, La fermille. It’s so delicious=)
We had such a great time there. Our furbaby enjoyed his time. We will return soon.
I love this place!! It is the best place for dog lovers. Its an easy ride from the ferry on the Upper East Side. Plus, the staff is attentive and friendly. They have a good selection of food as well.
Great experience awesome set up. Raymond and Proph were great and proph made the best coffee i ever had def would recommend this spot
One of the most magical places that has ever existed. Eternal happiness from a cup of spro to the doggies. My gf and our doggies love it here. The staff is amazing. Service is always A-1. If you’re not a dog person please DONT come here and ruin the vibe! Oreo and Tartufo approved!
Fantastic place. Super super cool. Right across the park. Love the dogs. They have great live.music on fridays.
This is a very nice place to take my dog. He enjoyed playing with the other dogs and all the other people there as well. All the other dog owners were friendly and their dogs were all well behaved. The food was pretty good but a bit on the expensive side. Its a wonderful place to take your dog for an afternoon out
I ordered an affogato and the ice cream wasn’t properly defrosted, so they brought us two mini baguette Brie and fig jam sandwiches instead. The woman we spoke to was really understanding. Great service and I love petting all the pups that come here!
So fun to take our pup here! We sat outside listening to an broadway singer, eating butterscotch pancakes, and chatting with the owner! You have to come hang out here if you love dogs, people, and drinks.
This place is great. High end coffee. Friendly staff. One of the first doggy cafes in NYC. The owner is always around and you can tell she cares deeply about her clients satisfaction. You can also get your dog groomed. Very unique place.
Well worth the experience! Delicious menu for people and plenty of good options for doggies too. We loved the restaurant and the Cafe area has an enclosed place for dogs to play. Everyone was so friendly. Will definitely be back!
Fun little spot, obviously extremely dog friendly. The coffee comes quick, but the wraps take little bit long (over 15 minutes sometimes). If you have a pup, absolutely worth the pop in.
This place really gives a feel of community. Very friendly staff. Feels like home. Love the fresh baked cookies for my dog.
Really great place for dogs. Had drinks but no food. Went for the pug meetup and this was my favorite dog friendly locale yet. Lots of space and a great vibe on the interior
First time here. For a dog cafe, it didnt smell of dogs. We had bruch with our dog in the off leash area. The food was good. The place is kept very clean. Will come back.
Great place to have a cup of coffee and have your dog socialize with other dogs (and people). My dog enjoys so much all the love that he gets here.
We ordered a chocolate croissant, egg and cheese wrap, coffees, lattes. Everything was made very well, and the portions were large. The place is expensive for breakfast, but it is nice because you can sit outside.
Hey lovely place to have coffee with your dog. That is, dont give your dog coffee, but do take them to play with other neighborhood locals.
Enjoyed my time here. I have an English bulldog that enjoyed the treats and got to play with a few friends while we were there. I had the lavender matcha which was good and my boyfriend had a iced coffee. We had the vegan breakfast burrito which was very tasty. Will definitely be back.
Been here a couple times now, the baristas are very friendly and the coffee and the espresso is pretty good, a little above average. The best part about it is the dogs though- really great options for treats and playtime for your dog, and if you don’t have one but want to be around them, it’s especially great for that. Definitely one of my favorite little spots in Astoria.
This small, neat, dog-friendly café sits across from SOCRATES SCULPTURE PARK and has one entrance for humans and one for Humans with dogs. Limited noshable menu is tasty and worth it. Bring your fur baby. RECOMMENDED.
Great place to visit with your dog and have coffee or lunch
Stopped by a couple times and love this space! Great Chai Latte and they have lots of goodies available for your dogs, even ones like mine (who has a pretty restrictive diet due to IBS). Met the owner, who is super friendly and has a great vision! Appreciated her help on finding supplements for my dog! Can’t wait to go back!
If you need a place for a good breakfast wrap and some treats for your pup definitely this is the place to be. This place is great. We took our 3 month old Silver Lab here and what an experience, could not have been better. The gentleman at the checkout was very helpful and chill. Natassa was extremely helpful and gave some excellent tips for our new pup. She is very attentive to the dogs. 🐶
Stopped in for a quick drink to go on a warm October afternoon after a walk in the sculpture garden across the street. Since they had no decaf espresso, the barista recommended the iced chai latte. Tasty and creamy with some added cinnamon. Service was quick and the place is very cute.
This needs a thorough review, as a dog owner I can understand how other people need to find and come to this placeIt has two separated entrances, the door to the right, human cafe, door to the left, doggy and human cafe, both areas separated from each other by a wall and a big window. For hoomans: coffee/cocoa options, sandwiches, pastries and on weekends a special brunch menu with food and drinks for you to enjoy while your pup plays. For pups: a pet store, doggy cupcakes, treats, grooming salon AND a gated area for pups to play off-leash with their friends. The owner seemed like a dog loving, overall nice person. Friendly service, nice, clean environment and delicious food. I will definitely be coming back and recommend to others.
I absolutely looove this place! I always come with my dog to the play area and sometimes by myself and I always feel like home. The staff nice and friendly and food is good ♥️
I instantly loved this cafe. So did my dog. They have a great selection of holistic dog/cat food and treats! As well as a delicious selection of coffee for us humans. The lounge is chill with good vibes, beautiful interior design and great staff. Very nice addition to Astoria.
No complaints! I was at first surprised about the price of my ham and cheese croque, but didnt realized it would be served warm on a beautiful plate with salad and tasty balsamic! That made it worth the price for sure. Kudos to the chef for deliciously prepared cafe food. And the dog section is adorable! Pies for your pup!!! how fun!!
Its the best place to grab a coffee and hang with locals and their dogs. We have been coming to Château’s Woof for a long time. They have done a fantastic job of curating weekly events and local highlights while at the same time serving great coffee and snacks.
The latte here is one of the best I’ve had; possibly better than Blue Bottle (my fav). They also have well made sandwiches and chill vibe.
Neat love place to come and spoil your dog and cats. Good coffee for the humans too!Natasa has crafted a beautiful space where community comes together, dogs and humans alike.Pastries are divine and fresh, for adults and (separate) recipes for dogs.Extensive selection of quality food, treats and essentials for your pup will make you a regular.... And you will look forward to each venture to the Cafe.
Great spot and beautiful setup! The grooming service is amazing. Our dogs look beautiful, we are definitely permanent customers now! We were able to sit and wait for each dog, so our dogs were not caged or alone ever. In the mean time we were able to sit in the doggy play pen and enjoy a coffee and snack while each dog was groomed. We aren’t living the area yet but will drive for our dogs to be groomed, beyond worth it. Thanks so much LaTourCaline grooming by Louise in Chateau Le Woof!
Its a great place to bring your dog in Queens to socialize and catch a break. A lot of the breakfast items are premade which makes them less tasty and are expensive for the quality.
Very friendly staff, great food; love the idea of being able to brunch alongside my pup. I would highly recommend bringing a toy or purchasing a hide for your dog to entertain theirself with if (s)he is like mine and not highly sociable with other dogs.
Absolutely charming. Small but excellent selection of toys/treats/etc. for your dog (& a few for cats!), but the real attraction is the dog-friendly side, where you can have your latte (very good too) & pastries or other small bites with your dog. (Seems to be lattes only within the play area, which is off-lead -- good idea too, as taking a cheese platter in there would probably create instant mayhem, at least if our dog is around! However, there is also barstool/counter seating on that side, outside the play enclosure.) Our small poodle has been there twice now & although she is a bit shy, she enjoys being around the other dogs & occasionally finds a friend. Plenty of smaller dogs, & their humans are in the enclosed area with them, so everyone plays nicely. Looking forward to taking her to their groomer when she next needs a haircut, too. Am so happy that there is finally a place where we can go -- officially -- together.
Many people bring their dogs to this shop and hangout with other dog owners or people who likes dogs. The coffee menu is great and there are some seasonal beverages that the owners makes from scratch such as the fig latte I had and it was delicious. Half of the shop also sells all kinds of pet food, treat, toys. It’s a great place to chill with your friends; two or four legs.
I visited Chateau le Woof a couple months ago just for a quick coffee, snack, and bathroom break. Their location, next to the sculpture park, is clutch. The staff were friendly and helpful. The bathroom was clean. The latte and baked goods were simply delicious! I really appreciated everything about this place and the experience the staff created for me, even during the stresses of COVID-19.
Indoor doggy park with Cafe for their human. Delicious sandwiches and iced teas.
Cutest and friendliest place ever. They have live music on the weekends too. 💕🐶
Amazing spot whether you have a dog or not. The mini pet store has all the necessites, including a grooming service (thank you Luis). Coffee shop/bistro side has a few espresso gurus that really know how to make a proper brew. Natassa and her crew are holding it down as the best coffee shop in Astoria.
With the help of the owner, Natassa, we put together a beautiful Christmas surprise for my boyfriend. I was impressed with the level of service and care she and her team provided. She listened to all of my requests and delivered beyond my expectations. The evening was a magical experience filled with great food and loving puppies. I am looking forward to coming back very soon.
Really cute place for both dogs and humans. Speaking as a human they have really good breakfast wraps. The vegan wrap was great and my friend enjoyed the non-vegan wrap. They have the BEST vegan pastries.
Very spacious and pet friendly!I enjoy the updates to the menu and variety. I continue to consider this a relaxing go to spot that I can safely share with my dog
We are very lucky to have this in our community. Please support and keep them in business.
Very attentive and friendly staff, as well as good quality products!!!
Bought some treats for our dog, turned out to be very stale and rock hard and nearly choked our dog to death while giving them to her. Do not buy the treats here. They are not homemade and seem to stay out for long periods. Do not recommend.
This place is just incredibly awesome, not just for dogs but also for people. Incredible pet services, top of the line pet food and treats, and amazing food and wine for us! :) I ordered the yummiest avocado toast and mimosa during a fabulous brunch last Sunday. Love this place!
The dog go to place in Astoria. Your furbaby can meet new furbaby friends while you relax. Luis washes, trims and loves the babies who need a fresh look. Enjoy your coffee, tea, lemonade, great pastry and friendship. Just what Astoria needed.
Really phenomenal espresso! But on top of that, the best atmosphere made possible by multiple friendly doggos and humans as well as baristas! I had the mocha it was top notch, milk was beautifully foamed
The service here is absolutely horrendous. I would not recommend. I came here for my birthday and I waited 20 minutes and no one came to take my order. The place was empty. A couple came in and the waitress came and promptly took their order while ignoring me. The atmosphere was off and it truly was a bummer because I was really excited to try out the cafe with my dog babies. I ended up going to Moms Kitchen & Bar and it was absolutely amazing!! The people were so friendly and served my puppies a nice big bowl of ice water! Don’t waste your time here
One of my most favorite coffeeshop in NY, the staff is superb! ✨👌🏾Everything about this place is godsend, especially for the community.
Nice hip coffee shop. They serve delicious quiches. Main thing is that it’s one side human, another side part doggy coffee (separate entrances) so if you got a dog -that’s pretty cool. A bit overpriced, but up to standards.
My dog got attacked by unleashed German shepherd, I asked the staff to put the sign on the door that all the dogs should be on the leash to prevent fights. Nothing was done yet.Besides that good place with live music
Smart idea, especially when its cold out and you need a place to unleash your dog and let them socialize! I wish the dog shop was a little more varied - they only carry a few brands of treats, sweaters and toys.
Really nice and small coffee place with great design and relaxing atmosphere. The coffee is great and the price is okay. You can stay as much as you want and no one will tell you something. The staff is amazing and they are working really fast so you wont wait at all.
Awesome place to hang out with your dog!! Delicious coffee, friendly service ( Raymond makes an amazing latte and hes so nice!!) and pretty decor. Great place and such a fun way to spend the day!!!
Clean place. Well behaved pups and great coffee. I dont know own a dog but its nice seeing them.
Loved the dog cookie looking treats shaped like fries and beer. They had a live band and great coffee. Grab a pup cup if it’s a hot day and head to the park across the street
Seems that coming here without a dog doesn’t work. Walked in at noon on a Wednesday, guy at reception (he was on the phone) didn’t look up, there wasn’t another soul in the place, and there was no sign of a coffee anywhere. I did a quick circuit of the place, checked to see if the guy at reception had noticed my presence (nope), then left. Super disappointing.
Our fluffly Bichon puppy requires capable hands in order to look his best. Luis gave a great cut, with scissors, & you could really tell he was passionate about his work. Luis also gave many grooming tips for home care that have helped significantly. Excellent.
I love this place! Not only are the staff friendly and helpful, but they go out of their way to accommodate my dog! Great selection of doggie treats, clothing, and dog food.Oh, and they serve mimosas---to go!
Great place! The owner came out and wanted me to move my legally parked car because “her business is more important” I agree to her it’s most important. She got in my face and attempted to intimidate me. Once the camera came out she walked away.
One of the greatest gems in Queens. Great coffee, best chai in the city and a community of people that remind you of the special power that is small business. Just a skip from Sculpture park and a walk from the ferry.Seriously worth the ferry ride to experience it!
The day Charlie (Pomsky) and I moved into this neighborhood and visited this cafe I knew I made the right decision! We love Chateau Le Woof! Great coffee, great people and high quality dog treats.
The ambiance if this place is of grace.Beyond all things there is a space to enjoy not only yourself but your four legged companions. A separate dining hall with full windowed view of the river and indoor animal play area adds a touch of magic. I do brunch here!
Just had a late family brunch at le woof!Absolutely awesome. I mean it! Best quiche ever, fresh eggs, fresh beets, terrific salad with brilliant dressing. Not too much just right. Thanks!
Fun for you and your pet. A lady played the Harp and sang while the pups walked around and played. The food was very good as others drank their wine. Happy 1 year birthday Sparky. Xoxo
The owner is very nice and loves people as much as dogs. Great neighborhood joint in a perfect location on the water. She sources some interesting bites for both K9 and human species alike.
Great place.Coffee ☕ is excellentService as well is amazing.Prices are a little steep but once again you pay for what you get same goes for food.I would come here again. Also a little birdie 🐦 told me theyre getting their liquor license.
Nice selection of sandwiches and wraps. Did not have a chance to try their drinks.
Chateau le Woof is as cute as they come! The perfect place for pup lovers, but also for friends of pup lovers! I come in here every year for a little gift for my friends pup, and the staff is always so kind, eager to help, and thinking of things I never even considered! Cant say enough good things!
I love this place so much. The owner and staff are always so lovely. The coffee is strong and delicious. The groomer does a fantastic job. I feel privileged to live within walking distance.
The food was great and the dogs next door were friendly and cute.
Love this place, warm friendly people, healthy food that taste great, best of all you can can dine with your canine. They have a side where your pet can eat and you can sit there and eat with them. But the pastry and food is heavenly.
Neighborhood dog haven and a great spot to buy pet products but also to have a cup of coffee and a treat and to meet other local pet owners. A lot of effort has gone into making this place a unique little gem in the neighborhood. Check it out!
Great coffee.Great place to chill with your dog.Great dog treat options. Our vote for the name of the French Bulldog logo:Tays top choices:RémySébastienJoes top choices:EnzoAxelThors top choice:HugoWe will be back 🐾🐾
I came here due to the input in the Wall Street journal with my girlfriend The chef here is very disgusting she is one of the nastiest people I’ve ever met the sandwiches were hard rotten and moldy and her response was if i don’t like it don’t eat it and leave a tall gentleman named Ray or Roy and the gentleman with glasses Jay were very helpful; delightful guys they are very professional i will not be coming back and any tourist should avoid coming here.
Great place for humans and their furry companions!!!
With a nice invitation to return to chateu le woof, I am happy to redo my review 😄.The first couple times I wasnt sure that this was a good choice for my needs because of the tiny cat selection, my current viewpoint and the intensly acidic coffee at the time.Needless to say, I returned only to see awesome new additions to their selection, a better tasting coffee and a new understanding of the neighborhood feeling theyre providing (I should not be so quick to judge anyway, so this is my bad, smh, lol)I recommend pet owners to check it out! Its an open, friendly atmosphere that caters to mainly 3 types of mammals: Dogs, cats and humans! Haha! I have yet to try the human treats, but they look good and the coffee is good too, although I think they change it every now and then (if youre picky about your coffee (like myself) ask for a sample first and dontbe shy to ask for a better suggestion because chances are they have something better for you 😉. )
Its like a small little community and everyone is so nice! Some of the best morning drinks (the best dirty chai latte). Theres always several dogs and people there and the view of the water is nice!
Brought my bulldog on his bday for the first time. Thought we were getting a fresh cake at a good price but paid more than $40 that looked like it has been sitting in the fridge for more than a week. Tank had the runs after.
My pup loves it there. My only thought:The issue of unfixed dogs being allowed in. (If all pet owners are made aware, that they are allowed that would be extremely beneficial.)A very worthwhile preventative measure.
Great coffee and service and good prices
Great local spot. Good service, good coffee and a fabulous environment
Love a place where you don’t need to add anything into your drink. Dog friendly if you couldn’t tell by the name, they have pet treats, craft beer & wine selection for the humans.
Was recommended this place by a friend and it was delicious! Loved my French toast and the lavender mimosa was a nice hit of booze that I wasnt sure would work but did very nicely. Katie was our main server and she was adorable - we traded pet stories and she was super fast with everything. She even modified a dog dish for human consumption (which was a hilarious conversation) and didnt blink. Will be making my way back there for sure.
I am writing this review on behalf of Benson. And I quote: I LOVE CHATEAU LE WOOF! All of the people working there are so nice! Natassa, Maddie, Kyle, Curtis and Ray always give me hugs and scratchy-scratchies! The water bowl is conveniently located by the entrance and I always quench my thirst when I first walk in. My uncle John says the hot chocolate is amazing (gotta take his word for it - he wont let me have any cuz he says chocolate is bad for me). After he gets his hot chocolate we go to the other side and he buys me a treat or two (or three!). I love the duck hearts, turkey necks and the chewy sticks. Theres also a nice little play area where I can run around but I mostly like to sit on the bench and kiss people. :P This place is great! I highly recommend it!!!
Nice place, nicely presented and decent sandwiches, served in paper boxes. No tap water. Pricey for what you get. The waitress seems unmotivated and rather unfriendly. We will not return.
Just started my daily walk around the neighborhood, along the waters between Astoria and Roosevelt Island. Great coffee and had a delicious mushroom quiche with a salad. Overlooking the Socrates Park. Makes my daily walk a pleasure.
Great coffee. bad customer service. took a trip on the ferry just to check this place out since others at the dog cafe i usually frequent have mentioned it . this place is over rated. one shot deal for me.
What a lovely addition to Astoria!! A cozy shop filled with natural treats and toys for my pups. Plus they serve a strong cuppa in their coffee bar!!
Its an interesting idea to have a dog play ground connected to a coffee shop. The in door play ground looks fun for dogs but the coffee shop is on the expensive side but then agian its the only coffe shop around this area.
Got a coffee, pet some pups, what mate could I ask for?
Such a cute spot! Great place to grab a drink, hang out and just people watch. Cozy atmosphere and overall a huge win.
Good coffee and nice chocolate lava
Very cute place with really good espresso. They also serve alcohol and will definitely try their prosecco next time.
This is a super cool place for both dogs and humans. Although the day I went it was extremely understaffed (only 1 girl working both sides) my dog and I had a great time in the common play area.
Very nice staff! Brought my dog here, and he was a big people/dog watcher. Not many gluten free options if that’s your schtick.
Love to hang out here with my dog. The drinks are good. It is always nice to talk to people here and let the lovely four legs run around.
Coffee was good but on the dog side there’s no one really supervising the dogs like there is in Boris and Horton . Some dogs seemed to jump and show aggression by nipping continuously while the owners just played it off as “oh that’s just how my dog plays” I had to leave to avoid any confrontation between their dog and owner as well.
Real gem for dogs to play and owners to mingle. Covid culture makes it weird to talk to people across the room. However, its better than staying home.
Very cute little place. You may get some nice dog visitors. The staff is overwhelming nice.
Hi! I forgot my Noguchi museum catalog at my table today :( if you can keep it for me please. I’ll come back to pick it up. Can’t find your phone number here.
Our favourite place in Astoria❤️
Nice place to sit and enjoy a light snack with your four legged friend. Complies with health department regulations by separating the food preparation area and where your furry friends are.
Best place to be with your furry significant other . amazing coffee and safe haven for all dog lovers . did I mention its right across Socrates park ? 🙌🙌
Best place ever!!!! Great customer service and delicious lattes
Nothing better then sipping a coffee with plenty of dogs coming to hi. Definitely recommend popping at all cost.
Great small stop and go place where dogs are welcome! Nice for a breakfast stop and they have a handful of treats, dog items and quick snacks for your dog as well!
Great shop! I can get my caffeine fix and get food and treats for my dog. Great way to socialize and meet local pooches and their owners :]
Amazing dog friendly coffee shop. Our pup loved getting a treat, while I get an iced coffee.
Excellent service, welcoming atmosphere, chill vibe and the best lattes!!! It’s my second time here in 2 days and I plan on coming back to have a latte and take a break when I’m in the neighborhood. Thank you Soha!!! :)
Great coffee, friendly service, delicious treats (for both humans and dogs), and a good selection of pet products. Definitely going back!
I was given a moldy cake :( however, the staff was great and they refunded the cake and gave me something else to make it up.
Great, cute place! I got an iced mocha and it was delicious! Also a lot of cute doggies that are allowed.
I could stay there all day just people and dog watching. Small but good selections of light bites and good service. Right across from the Socrates park.
Horrible wait time. Been waiting here for 25 minutes already and all I ordered was a latte? There is no one in the store?! Its just me my girl friend and another guy wth... I just changed the review because she apologized and gave us chocolate!
I can’t speak to the animal section of this cafe, but the prices for the sandwiches are outrageous both given the quality and the location of the cafe. This is not Manhattan, this is not Williamsburg... know your market.
I took my dog wifi there today and I must say the staff was awesome. Amazing prices and my dog loved the food they recommended for him. And thx for the free samples hehe.
So much fun! Dog and coffee bliss
Friendly staff, a good variety of coffee and snacks. fun place for dogs and dog lovers as well.
