Working 40 hours a week and coming home to a super energetic dog in the winter time is very stressful. camp bow wow has made me and ginny so much happier. the staff are incredible and ginny loves them. im not ready for another dog, but ginny is so social, and im so glad i can give her the opportunity to play with other dogs. she’s really well socialized at 1 year old. getting her energy out at camp bow wow a few times a week has helped so much with certain behaviors. the facilities are really nice, we get to take home lots of fun keep sakes from day camp. they always get her really clean when i ask for her to have a bath. it seems like it’s so hard to find companies that stand by their promises. camp bow wow is clearly committed to providing a quality day care/boarding that is worth the money

The staff at Camp Bow Wow took great care of our fur babies while we were away for 8 days in Hawaii. Besides being able to check in via the cams, we were sent daily messages and pictures via text . The messages described daily activities and shared images of them playing with thier furry friends. I felt at ease knowing they were in great hands. Thank you Camp Bow Wow.

Camp Bow Wow is truly amazing! They really love everyone’s pets and take care of our best friends! Our dog (Gus) has been enjoying them for almost a year now! They offer one to one playtime, socializing, interacting with other Pawwrrific friends! You can even observe from their cameras on your iPhone or computer! Great place for a day of fun for our furry friends or if you need to travel near or far away…they text you and keep you posted about your pets! Share images of their adventures and how they are doing while they’re there! Such a compassionate, kind, loving and fun establishment!! ❤️🐾🐶🐾❤️

We brought our dog for an interview to be sure she was a good fit for boarding while we go on vacation in the near future. Our dog, who has major separation anxiety did great here! Everyone was incredibly patient and worked to ensure she was as comfortable as possible. She came home exhausted from playing with all her new furiends. When I brought her back for her second visit, she couldn’t get in the door fast enough. We are so grateful for Camp Bow Wow and the knowledgeable counselors who help to care for our babe!

The best tamarind has ever had. Great staff keep you informed on your pups behavior and camp bow wow offer other services as well. The staff loves him. I am very pleased with the professionalism 👌🏽 they hold to their standards. They even took pics of my pup getting to know his new friends.

Best camp ever!!I tried the boarding service and I can’t give them anything but 5/5.I left my dog there for 5 weeks and I was really nervous at that time because it was my first time leaving him that long and in boarding. But the staff made it an awesome experience.Fast and easy communication.Picture updates.Daily reports about how is your dog doing.VERY friendly staff.They made my travels easier.And the most important is that my dog loves going to the camp and gets excited every visit.

The staff were very welcoming and they all obviously love dogs! My dog is older and they took excellent care of him—they were very patient and kind. He had a great time and made a lot of friends!

I love that my Roxy is socializing all day, shes gets tons of exercise and shes learning how to behave around many different dog personalities. Im extremely pleased with how we can check in on live cams, get frequent pictures and updates. Absolutely love my Dog and grateful for camp Bow wow! Great job! ❤️👏🏼

Everyone is always so friendly! My dog absolutely loves having opportunities to play with other dogs and have enrichment opportunities. She is so happy and exhausted when she comes home. This place truly is incredible and we don’t board our dog anywhere else.

My George is basically a giant 100 pound toddler and the staff at CBB are so incredibly great with him! They are patient and work so well with him. I trust them with my pup and he absolutely adores going to camp. Ive boarded him for weeks at a time and I know he is being cared for and is having the time of his life!

We boarded our dog, Oakley, for 4 nights while we were on vacation. I was nervous about leaving him because my fiancé and I work opposite schedules so Oakley is never without one of us. My worries washed away when I saw photos of Oakley having a blast! I truly appreciate being able to watch him during the day and receiving photos once in a while. It is evident that Oakley is in great hands at Camp Bow Wow. He had so much fun while we were gone and we will not hesitate to bring him back!

We cannot express enough how much of a positive experience we had with Camp Bow Wow. Ben did our dog’s interview and he was so patient and kind with our very timid dog. Ben and all of the counselors are obviously dedicated to making the dogs feel comfortable and are very aware of dog body language. You can tell that they truly care about the work they do. We were taking our dog to day camp at least once a week and she was making so much progress with her social skills. Even on days where she was particularly shy, the counselors would take time to comfort her and even carry her (which says a lot when it is a 50 lb dog). It was easy to see how much our dog liked the counselors: she would get so excited to see them. It was truly a joy to see our dog progress and play with the dogs and counselors. They even had fun themed days (Cheese Day!) and would send us photos!Unfortunately our dog developed some aggression towards dogs after being attacked by another dog (did not occur or have anything to do with Camp Bow Wow) and we made the decision to no longer have her attend camp until we can receive professional training services. We received a very thoughtful message from Ben expressing his sadness at the news and offering us a refund for the days we had purchased in advanced. This made it even more apparent how dedicated all of the staff are to the dogs. I truly hope that in the future our dog can attend camp today because they provide amazing service and a wonderful business.

Friendly staff. There should always be at least one staff member managing the front desk for check ins for those who drop off dogs before work (had to wait 12 minutes one time). Love the report cards and live cam.

Kate, Ben, and Alicia were amazing during Zeros interview and 1st stay, and he and I are both looking forward to his next visit.Ben interviewed Zero who is high energy and can make inexperienced handlers nervous. Ben was intuitive and knowledgeable of a dogs behavioral quirks and he took the time to introduce Zero to the pack incrementally to make sure everyone got along.Alicia kept me up to date during the stay with plenty of photos and even let me know when Zeros tail started to hurt from wagging so much.Kate helped make onboarding quick and easy, answering my many questions and putting my mind at ease.The camp itself is a little hard to see from the road but is well worth the hunt. The live cameras made me feel comfortable that he was getting enough attention and engagement with both people and dogs. This will be my 1st choice camp and kennel from now on.

Awesome staff and our dog loves it! He is a very anxious dog, the staff helped get him used to the other dogs. He has so much fun there, excited to go in!

Winnie loves Camp Bow Wow. She has so much fun with her friends and comes home exhausted. The staff is always super friendly and the app is nice for scheduling and checking in on the cameras.

Our pup and I both LOVE Camp Bow Wow, he always runs for the door as soon as we get there! All the staff know and love on him, from the moment we walk in. Watching him play on the cameras and getting email updates of how much fun hes having is just icing on the cake! I cant recommend Camp Bow Wow enough, we hate having to leave our pup, but its easier knowing that hes in good hands and having the best time!

The process was easy and convenient with both the web portal and mobile app. I chose Camp Bow Wow over other local daycares due to the convenience and being able to see my Pup via the webcams when I wanted to check in. Not to mention my pup was exhausted from having so much fun that he let me relax when i got home from work. It was a win-win!

My little guy is so excited for his camp days. I love that they send me photos during the day and I can watch on live video feed what he’s doing during the day.

Love this place!! I recommend it to every dog owner I meet. My pup is always super excited as soon as I turn onto Mushroom Blvd and comes home pooped. The staff always seems to be excited to see him and he LOVES them. I like being able to check in on camera, but I’m always confident that he’s in good hands when I leave him. Also, boarded with Camp Bow Wow and he went in and came out happy. Also love that they can clone your dog’s files to other sites, was able to visit other CBW sites in NC and it was super easy. I also love the special holiday events

The day care experience itself was great, loved the report card and getting sent pictures of my dogs fun day. Staff were also very friendly! However, my dog was here just one day and a few days later showed signs of some sort of respiratory infection (like kennel cough, even though he’s vaccinated) which cost me over $200 in vet bills. He hadn’t seen other dogs recently so it was definitely from here. That’s okay, it happens. But I had a boarding booked for about a week out that I had to call and cancel once I found out he was sick, and nothing was mentioned about a refund and I haven’t seen anything refunded to my account, even though I gave them over 48 hours notice and it’s now after the time he was supposed to be boarded anyway.

I like the camp bow wow web cam, the late hour at which I can pick her up (6:45), the convenient location, the trainer seems very nice, and I liked the new camper package. I also like that they dont discriminate against pitbulls. Shes a happy camper!

My Boston Terrier loves Camp Bow Wow! Always super excited to be there! Which in my mind makes Camp Bow Wow great for doggies!

Great level of attention to pups in their space. The staff has extended extra care to our pup on a few occasions where he was stressed or while waiting to be picked up. We love the little report card that comes home from daycare that tells us how things have been doing. Their facilities are kept clean throughout the day and they have a cool webcam option for you to check in on your pup during their stay

I am extremely pleased with the staff and service provided by Camp Bow Wow. My dog, Sky, loves spending time either in an all-day play session or a lengthy boarding session. The staff is watchful of her well being and advises me if there are any concerns, big or small I get updates and pictures the whole time she is boarding. They give me peace of mind and I never worry about Sky while she is in their care. A+++

Camp bow wow is a great place to board your dog. They are kind, conscientious and I know the dogs get a lot of attention. The dogs get to play inside and or out. They are not left in the crates all the time. The staff takes good care of them. You get pictures and updates from the team . I will use them again.

We have been taking our dog to camp bow wow for 7 years now and couldn’t be happier with how much they love on him. He loves going to day camp and staying over for boarding as well. We recently added another dog to our family and she quickly fit right in at Camp Bow Wow. I highly recommend the facility and staff. Everything is absolutely wonderful

My husband and I had our dogs stay here for 8 days, they came back: plump, happy and smelling decently fresh. The staff was great at sending pictures and updates and voicing any concerns about the pups during their stay. We are so grateful to have such a wonderful place to leave our dogs when needed. I highly recommend this place. Pricing was well worth it & and surprisingly very affordable compared to competitors. Thank you again, we cannot wait to visit next time!

I bring both my dogs to Camp Bow Wow and they absolutely love it. The staff is so kind and extremely understanding. When my dogs go they play all day and are so tired when they get home. I appreciate being able to watch them on the cameras from work, updated photos from staff throughout the day, and notes on how they did when I pick them up. I highly recommend Camp Bow Wow!

They always take such good care of my dog! He never wants to leave! He comes back so happy and so tired from all the fur friends he plays with! They always send the cutest pictures to keep me updated on how he’s doing! Could not recommend camp bow wow enough!

My dog is always well cared for, happy, and tired when he comes home. We get a basic bath before picking him up so he is shiny and clean!

Great people and facility and my dog comes home happy and tired. Only reason I can’t give 5 stars is this there is no allowance for missing a day if your dog is sick for even just one time as a courtesy for regular customer. Other places allow credit toward the next stay if your dog gets sick. Hoping Camp Bow Wow will change their policy.

Started bringing my 7 month old puppy to camp and she absolutely loves it. When I drop her off she runs me through the parking lot to the front door and cannot wait to get inside. The staff is so friendly. They love and care for Rosa as if she were their own. I highly recommend bringing your dog to camp bow wow!

Overall a good boarding experience with my two dogs. They came home with a great bath and smell terrific. The workers are really good with the dogs and I like that my two can share a cabin. It did look like one of them missed the nail clip that I signed up for, but the staff was very good about offering to take a look and clip nails later on instead.

Our dog, Mimosa, absolutely loves Camp Bow Wow!! We have had nothing but great experiences here from boarding to weekly day camp and extracurricular activities :) You can really tell that the people that work here have a passion for dogs. We’ve been boarding our dog Jack at Camp Bow Wow for years and they’re very kind, caring, and professional. He’s always done great but he’s getting older and he had kennel stress towards the end of his most recent stay.He wouldn’t eat, was panting and drooling heavily. Kat and Sophia kept us updated and worked with us to help Jack. He got a bath and Rachael found a hot spot on his neck most likely from all the drooling. They were great! I highly recommend Camp Bow Wow!

Im always really pleased with camp Bow wow. I have had my dog stay many times overnight for up to 4 days and the staff is friendly with me and him. He is kind of a handful and they accept him. They send me pics unless they are real busy but the camper cam is great when I miss him!

We love Camp Bow Wow! Our 1 year old boxer-lab mix Tucker loves them as well! He has stayed for day camp as well as a couple of nights overnight, and he always comes home happy and worn out from having an absolute blast playing with the other dogs. The facility is safe and clean, and the staff are all friendly and helpful any time we call or go in; you can tell they genuinely love animals. They are organized, efficient, and up to date with new technologies- the camper cam is awesome and puts my mind at ease when we go out of town. We also enjoy the option to pick him up bathed and groomed, so convenient! Thank you all so much for taking care of our boy and always providing a great experience!

Weve enjoyed their service. My dog seems love the place. He goes once a week for doggie day care. I get a break from the dog and he learns to socialize with other animals. Occasionally we add extra services like personal pet and search time. Staff is always welcoming. Weve also used the boarding service a few times. He seemed to be ok after staying there overnight and over a weekend. I also like that they have cameras and I can view whats he is doing during the day. While its not an open field or a farm type daycare For industrial Park area I feel that the play areas are nice and theres plenty of room and the staff treats the dogs well.

Today was my dogs first day at Camp Bow Wow. Everything from the check in to the paperwork and interview process was a complete breeze. The staff are amazing and excited and I felt so comfortable leaving my boy Otter in their care. The facility was organized and clean and had a very good energy about it. I am soooo picky with my pup and Camp Bow Wow went above and beyond my expectations. A plus is that they are open on the weekends! I highly recommend this place! Also they gave me a well written report card for Otter at the end of the day. Amazing.

We have been more than pleased with this place! We had taken our dog to another daycare for boarding and they did not like his high energy. When it came time for another trip, we chose Camp Bow Wow and it kept us at such ease while away from our pup. They send updates regularly and the dogs have so much room to play. The other dogs he plays with have just as much, if not more, energy than he does. We also chose to have one on one fetch time and cuddle time for our dog as well as a bath. He even got a Thanksgiving dinner! I cannot say enough good things about this daycare. They seem to really care about the dogs and enjoy being there. We will always choose CBW for boarding.

Everyone at Camp Bow Wow is wonderful and very accommodating! They know our dog by name and Hannah really loves going to day camp. I feel comfortable knowing our dog is in good hands especially when we board her. Highly recommend Camp Bow Wow!

We brought our dog Susie in for occasional boarding services. She was sweet, shy and during the years went from an energetic dog to an old lady needing her naps. The staff here was accommodating and truly treated her like one of their own in so many ways. We liked the video service, the email with her picture and loved that she got breaks during the day out of concern for the dogs overall health. Highly recommend this place. Also love how they group the dogs into similar playgroups - age, size and temperament.

I brought my dog here for daycare, I bought the new camper 3 day pass. My mom picked him up after the first day and the desk worker charged her for the day and told her there were also two outstanding days of daycare that needed to be paid for. Apparently there was a mix up and when I bought the days and told them when he would be coming in they scheduled him for the month prior so they were showing as outstanding days. Luckily I had my receipt still and was able to get that part sorted out, however they claimed they were not able to refund for the extra day they charged us even though it was their mistake. Very poor customer service.

I love that Ryder was able to interact with other dogs while we were away and with the camper cam, we could check in on him (which we did, quite frequently!). I was very happy that he was being given stimulation and attention, rather than just sitting in a kennel. The emails and pictures from Camp Bow Wow brought a smile to my face. It is hard to have to leave my dog, but I am confident that he is in good hands at Camp Bow Wow. Thanks for taking such good care of Ryder!

My pup is thrilled to go to Day camp at Camp Bow Wow and play with his friends. He is always happy and exhausted when I pick him up, what more could I ask for. All of the staff is wonderful and I’m very comfortable bringing my boy there. I highly recommend!

I am what you would call a crazy dog owner, I am overly protective and was so anxious to pick a place to board my dog. I researched so many different kennels and settled on camp bow wow after reading the almost 2000 positive reviews online. After meeting the staff at camp bow wow, I was sold. Everyone that works there is so friendly and clearly loves dogs and knows a lot about them. The facilities were clean and the live feed cameras are a great way to check in. After the interview day, I booked a few day care days to get her more adjusted to things. She started off a bit anxious but the staff took extra care of her and helped her adjust. Again, I cannot say enough good things about camp bow wow. This will absolutely be out go-to place to board when we vacation, and a fun place for my dog to get to socialize with other dogs at day care!

We love the care our dog Jack-e gets here! It really is like camp! The “report cards” are great and being able to see her in the video cam is terrific! I see how each dog is given love and attention by each of the counselors and that they are able to know the dogs personalities and are quick to intercept any potential problems. The groomers are also terrific ! Rochester Camp Bow is the best!!

We absolutely love Camp Bow Wow. We initially went there because my parents have used them for years for their dog and have always loved it. Weve done obedience training there, Play & Trains, and now are in for daycare and overnight stays. The trainer, Andy is awesome. Hes helped us learn how to be better owners and helped our dog harness and control a lot of his energy. Hes really helped us understand why our dog behaves a certain way and teaches us ways to pick up the signs to be able to prevent it and deal with it. Weve worked with him since we adopted our dog Bruno and the transformation is really amazing. Everyone Ive dealt with on the staff has been super friendly, and seems to genuinely love and care about the dogs. Our dog lights up and is so excited when we even pull into the parking lot. And thanks to the webcams of the play yard, we can see the he really loves it there. Its the best!

Camp Bow Wow might work really well for people who live in the area however, when you come from another state its a nightmare. Shortly after we got our dog, we came to a graduation party and to visit our family and friends in Rochester. So we figured that they required an appointment to get to know our dog and be able to leave him there while we were busy with our event. We made the appointment 3 days in advance and when we got there, they didnt know anything. We waited patiently while the guy in the front desk gave service to everyone but us. At the end he said that the employee we had talked to had given us a different appointment on a date that we hadnt agreed on. Then he argued that they were short in staff that he could not do anything about it . We asked for the manager but apparently he/she wasnt there. We left this place being very disappointed and late for the graduation ceremony. We ended up leaving our dog on Petsmart, where they were quic, very helpful and understanding. Camp Bow Wow Pros: If you live in Rochester, it might work for you. It seems clean and has lots of space for dogs to run and play.Cons: They seemed to us like a poorly managed Kennel. Seems that employers can mess up your appointment and they wont care to send you out the door, without working anything out. I Wouldnt recommend it to anyone who comes for vacations and has limited time visiting.

Not a great experience. We brought my dog in for an interview. We waiting the standard for 30 minutes to see if they passed. My dog did. When staff told us she passed they asked if we would like to have her stay for up to three hours free to play today or take her now. We let her play, did some running around and came back about two hours later. We picked her up. Then two more hours go by and they told us we came too soon and she’s considered a failed interview and would need to come back again. Sounds like they do not have people trained on their policies well if that’s accurate.

Our dog Issy visited here for a day while we were traveling in the area. She had a fun day playing and was very tired at the end of her day. Staff were very helpful with getting everything done for her orientation. We have used a Camp Bow Wow before but not with this dog. We always look for one.

I have had nothing but great experiences with the staff at Rochester Camp Bow Wow. Staff are courteous and kind, and always able to answer any questions I have. Im always confident that my dog is well taken care of, and love that I have the opportunity to check in via webcam and even sometimes via Instagram. I love knowing that my dog is being social and getting exercise while Im at work, and I love picking up a happy, sleepy dog at the end of the day!

The staff are excellent, my dog enjoys going there, and we really like the camera feeds available so we can watch during the day. I also appreciate the care they use in keeping all the dogs safe.

I loved the cleanliness, and the friendliness. The first day that I brought my dog in, I was greeted by the owner. He made a point to give my 2 young children stickers, and talk to them. I also liked how the other workers were busy doing something. I saw more than once staff members cleaning, wiping things down. My dog was treated with love while visiting, and I have already recomended Camp Bow Wow to others.

May have a rich, well-heeled clientele, but not friendly to first time customers! Instead of a pre-interview to determine boarding eligibility, they demand 3 days of day care(200$) for our two dogs to test worthiness. That doesnt even count the boarding costs! Check out most of the Yelp reviews; this place went from cool and attentive to money-grabbing and indifferent

We love bringing my dog to camp bow wow! And she loves going. We love that she can socialize and play all day and not be stuck in her crate all day while we are at work. We often take advantage of the Spa service and our dog comes of smelling great and her coat will be so soft.

Camp Bow Wow has a friendly staff to both people and dogs. Our dog loves to come and gets excited when she hears us say she is going to camp. The Facility is kept clean. Dogs are screened so you know other dogs are friendly. Great location. We have used Camp Bow Wow for both Day Camp and for boarding and couldnt be more pleased.

I took my dog here for her first appointment and the staff was very friendly. Ill be going on a couple trips later this year and its nice to know my pup will be in good hands while I am gone. The live cameras are also a plus so youre able to check in on your dog whenever you want from a phone or computer.

My dog and I love this place! They take such great care of my dog child both for day camp and overnight boarding. I love that they send me a picture of Laney while she is at day camp to update me on how she is doing. I have a very shy dog and this is such a great place for her to socialize and play all day. We have a new pup that has pretty bad separation anxiety when we leave for work. Camp Bow Wow has been wonderful for us. From the very first interview we were so impressed. I love that we can watch him play throughout the day. We highly recommend them!

Staff at Camp Bow Wow are friendly and responsive! I am notified if any issues arise with my 2 English Bulldog pups. The site’s webcams are such a great idea and you can watch your pups play from any computer or smartphone. Watching them play is great therapy when I’m having a stressful day! Ive boarded Maggie before and had no worries at all. All staff members love the dogs & take wonderful care of them. I love being able to watch on the webcam. And having Maggie running to get in the building says it all: she loves her dog friends & the staff.

Everyone we met were professional and friendly. On interview day, staff took the time to let my hesitant dog warm up to here. It is great to be able to see my dog on video during the day. I even received a text with pictures from my pup!Everything is clean (this place did NOT smell like a kennel) and well organized.

One of the best places to leave your dog for daycare. They have separate areas for small dogs and big dogs. Each of them have an indoor and outdoor area. The staff is well trained and are always ready to help. My puppy loves going there. The area is clean and they provide water regularly.

Everyone seems to truly enjoy being with the dogs. I appreciated that they wanted to screen my dog prior to accepting her. It tells me that they are maintaining a safe environment for all of the pets. Most of all....my 2 year old Boxer seems to LOVE it there. The second time I took her, all I had to do was pick up her bed and say,lets go see the friends! and she was jumping at the door. Thats awesome....

Camp bow wow is the best. Very friendly staff and great trainers who truly care. My dog loves going to play and comes home exhausted. This is the one place I truly feel comfortable leaving my dog at for a day or for a stay.

Camp Bow Wow always takes great care of our furry children. The staff is friendly and obviously cares about their campers, and I love being able to watch them on the web cams. When we boarded our boys on our wedding weekend, they provided us with a complimentary grooming. Camp Bow Wow is the only boarding facility I trust with our boys.

I bring my dog here once a month to keep him socialized. Staff is always very nice and even remembers him and his eating preferences, despite his infrequent visits. I love that they send picture updates and that I can watch my pup on the cameras. I have no complaints.

Weve been so thankful for Camp Bow Wow as a safe place for our dog to board. They are dog-centered and you can tell that their employees genuinely care for your dog as much as you do.

Our dog was very well taken care of by all the friendly and loving people at Camp Bow Wow. He’s a clingy little dog so we were concerned boarding him for a week. So we boarded him for a weekend just to test things out prior. He was totally fine both times. We checked on him through the webcam all the time and received daily updates.

Edit: I still love the counselors but I have A MAJOR ISSUE WITH THEIR CANCELLATION POLICY. My dog is scheduled to go there two days a week most weeks—around 100 times a year. This past spring I had a series of unexpected doggie and human health issues and a vehicle issue (wouldn’t start) and had to cancel the morning of camp. They have a policy of waiving the FULL DAY CHARGE for canceling once—regardless of how often you come there. They did waive it about three or so times, which I appreciated. However, I was charged for the full day when I went to the hospital unexpectedly with COVID AND TEXTED THEM FROM THE HOSPITAL and today when I walked out and found my tire flat. I don’t understand why they would want me to expose anyone to my illness. I offered to provide documentation of illness and was rebuffed. I understand they are a business but part of being a business is return business. I made the mistake of purchasing three 20 day non-refundable packages so, right now, they have no worries about my return and are taking full advantage of that.Past review: What’s not to love? My dog gives the best endorsement: She bounces with joy when I put her seatbelt leash on her and runs out to the car. She barks more the closer we get (she’s not a barker). She doesn’t even look back at me when they come to take her back and she lets the counselors know if they don’t open the door to the other dogs fast enough for her liking. I had to pick her up early once and she staged a sit down strike—which is totally out of character for her.My endorsement: The counselors know my dog by name. The love on her when she is there. I can check in on her via the app video link.

We LOVE Camp Bow Wow! Our dog goes there each week and he is always happy to go and wonderfully exhausted at the end of the day. The staff is fantastic and so caring with all of the dogs.

Super positive energy here!! From what I saw of my pups interview, the intuitive staff really helped even timid dogs transition into the Camp environment. It was amazing to see how well my dog eased into the groove and I cant wait to bring him back!

I always receive quick responses. Theyre so sweet with my dog and all the dogs Ive seen them interact with. I like that I can watch him on the cameras too. This was especially helpful since I wasnt sure if he would like it at first. I also like that they can do baths and nail trims during his stay too!

BOARD AT OWN RISK!!! Staff is not trained on proper handling of dog fights or how to administer medication! Claim play all day but actually dogs sit in kennels for hours on end and only let them out when calling them where my dog was. Horrible management

I took my 2 year old black lab to Camp Bow Wow because I worked two jobs and felt terrible about leaving him alone. I took him there for his interview and when I picked him up they said he did great! He loved it there! I purchased a beginners package and even referred a friend there so I got a free day as well. I brought him back another day and was told he did great. Then on the third day bringing him I got a phone call at work that my dog refused to go in the cabin and the trainer wanted to train him for a 90 minute session. Which I agreed to despite my dog never having any issues with his crate.The trainer said he did great at the session and really took too it, but he wanted another followup session with the other counselors the next time I brought him in. I told him I usually bring him in anywhere from 7-7:20 in the morning before work. I showed up at 7:20 and was not greeted but was told the trainer was here at 7 and now he only had 10 minutes left to work with my dog. A miss communication I understand. So then he proceeded to take my dog back to the crate, and came back with my dog not 2 minutes later saying He wouldnt go in the crate, he just keeps pulling me back to you so he had my dog for a total of maybe 2 minutes out the 10 and didnt train him. Not once was I asked to go back to help the situation. After this 2 minutes the trainer then says to me that I have to take my dog home. Now Im late to work, and have to bring my dog all the way back home. The trainer said to me Well since I tried, you still have to pay me. I have left messages called numerous times to the owner and gotten no reply.

Ive taken my dog(shetland sheepdog) for 10 years on a off. They tire him out and really watch him to make sure he is ok( he is on the shy side) also when he sleeps over I can tell he had great rest. Most of the staff know him the second he walks in which is always nice to see :)

The staff is very sweet. Its a dog centered place. My dogs seem to love to be there and I can watch them on the cams! Lee, the owner, made a point of chatting with us at our first visit. We really felt welcomed.

We took our dog here for overnight services and couldn’t have been more pleased with the staff and the overall experience. Oakley was well taken care of, I received an email giving me updates, and I know he absolutely LOVED being there. I recommend Camp Bow Wow to any dog owner I meet - cannot say enough about this place!

Staff is friendly, helpful and clearly love dogs! The attention my dog receives is amazing. I watch on the cams from time to time and there is almost always someone there monitoring and giving the dogs attention :).Also, it is a breeze checking my dog in and out. There are times Im in a rush to get to work and I dont need to have my wallet. They usually know my dog by just looking at her and I can just hand her off. Im a software engineer and it is refreshing to deal with a business that has this portion of their business down pat.

Everything is great! Nash and Josie love going here. We do miss the text message updates, which I understand are very difficult, so maybe just a huge Facebook dump on weekend days?The cameras work great. The app works great. We will keep attending!

I love the webcams, especially now that they are expanded. This last visit, my dog seemed to go with the flow and interact with other dogs more, and I think that is because he can’t see out the door anymore, so he doesn’t sit there and stare out. The counselors are great with the dogs, and I love that he gets a treat at bedtime. Absolutely love all the photos you post on Facebook, as well as the texts I get from my dog!

Everyone is friendly and seems genuinely concerned about my dog. I mostly spoke to Alicia the week my dog was there. She’s the best, I can tell she really cared about my dog and she made me feel more comfortable about leaving my 10 year old dog who has always been by my side and is not used to other people/dogs while I was out of town. My dog and I thank her and Camp Bow Wow. We will definately be back!

We appreciate the friendly, energetic, and knowledgeable staff. They do a nice job meeting the needs of our dog, like recognizing when she may need an extra rest break or giving her belly rubs at the start of each visit. We also love the webcam feature and grooming services.

Camp Bow Wow of Rochester has been an incredible asset for us. We started with training classes by Andy Defayette, working our way through three different levels of classes. Andy emphasizes reinforcing desired behavior with praise and reward in opposed to punishing non-desired behavior.This works especially well with our dog given his high energy because he needs to work for the rewards which both teaches him lessons and uses that energy positively.Weve also done play and trains with Andy where our dog spends the day at camp and gets some 1 on 1 attention with Andy. Through the classes and these sessions our dog has become incredibly obedient and has made amazing strides. Camp is great because we can watch our dog during the day at any point with their live cameras. The staff is incredibly nice and work well with the dogs.I would highly recommend Camp Bow Wow for boarding, and especially for training with Andy!- Doug

Staff is nice enough. My dog unfortunately contracted conjunctivitis while being boarded there. There was no protocol in place and I was told two separate things from different employees. Just emptied the bag I sent with my pup and they hadnt even read the note I attached to add his vitamins (still unopened) to his food. The note also said not to put bedding in his crate because he will eat it... And they did. I received a text after the first night saying he had chewed up his bed. Also, they overfed him as they ran out of his food when I had given two extra days worth just in case. He will not be going back.

We have taken our dog to Camp Bow Wow countless times over the past year.The facilities are clean and well-kept. The store front is nice and offers a variety of treats, toys, and foods that arent always available at the local big box pet stores. My dog is a high energy breed and he always comes home completely exhausted after a a day of doggy daycare at Camp Bow Wow!

This place is wonderful! The staff obviously care about the dogs and they make sure the pups get the best experience possible. Their schedule is good for those with long or odd hours, and their prices are reasonable. My dogs were happy and tired out after a few hours here, which is all we can ask for.

Camp Bow Wow is amazing! I am pretty crazy about my furr baby - bringing her to Camp Bow Wow is one of the most comfortable things for both of us, everyone is so sweet and kind and they treat my girl just as I would. Plus they are always doing awesome fundraisers and fun events for the pups to play. I love camp!

I have been bringing my 1.5 year old Golden Retriever, Sage, to Camp Bow Wow for 7 months. It’s a great place for her to play, socialize and there is training available if you want it. The staff has always been friendly and accommodating with Sage and myself.

Stay away from this place. My dog was supposed to be there for a 4 night stay with all day play however every time we checked the live cameras he was in his cage. When we called to ask about this they lied and said he was out playing with other dogs when we could clearly see him in his cage. They said he was a great dog good with the other dogs so we were confused as to why he was spending so much time in his cage and only 1-2 hours all day out playing. We specifically portioned out his food daily for them and gave extra cans just incase he ate all of it. He still ran out of food because the staff didnt feed him correctly and ended up throwing out most of the food. We decided to pick him up a day early because of all this and they ended up charging me for 4 full nights of boarding, a day of daycare, a bath and a nail trim which they never did. We paid a night in advance so we should have only been charged 2 nights and a day of daycare since we picked him up a full day early. Overall the staff was incompetent and lied to us over the phone several times when we asked about our dog. When we picked up my dog he seemed terrified and in pain. We will be bringing him to his vet to see if everything is ok with him. Do yourself a favor and stay clear of this place.

We love, love Camp Bow Wow. Anytime we need to go out of town, we can leave our dog with no worries. Very friendly, kind and knowledgeable staff. Highly recommend.

I am a new dog mom at CBW , and the love of my life Mazey passed her interview and had her first day at day care , and all my stress was squashed because i could watch her on camera, it shows a nothing to hide, can do foundation and thats what all dog parents need. Thanx to Kate, Melanie, Shea, Dyan and all of the staff on her first days , i am so happy Mazey will have new friends as she returns and settles in

My dog has the same demeanor when he arrives that he has when getting a treat. So he is definitely a fan. But also the staff is very friendly and attentive... and the whole place is themed like a camp ground which is really cool, an added bonus is the live webcam feed of the play areas so you can see your dog during the day.

We are from out of town, and regularly take our dog to another Bow Wow. But we were visiting family in your area for the holidays. You made it so easy for us to bring our dog to your location. Scruffy loved having a day to play with new friends, and we loved knowing he was being looked after and having fun while we did family stuff. Thank you.

We like how easy it is to schedule, and that we can watch our pups on the website while were away. The staff is very friendly and they always give us a mini report of how our pups did while they were there. We also really liked the emailed photos sent while we were gone. Very cute.

We love the counselors and they love our boys! We feel confident leaving our boys at Camp Bow Wow Rochester knowing that they are safe, loved and exercised. We absolutely love the post cards and updates ... being able to log online from where ever we are and watch our boys enjoying themselves really gives us piece of mind.

We just took our dog there today for her “interview.” Alicia looked over the application we sent three days ago and the brought our dog back to greet the other dogs. She brought out 3-4 dogs, one at a time - there were not issues, our dog was more interested in all the barking on the other side of the gate. Then she put her back on the leash brought her out and said “she’s too rambunctious and she’ll need to see our trainer before and then we can try again” We we’re watching the video the entire time, there were dogs jumping on each, wrestling on the ground, mouths around other dogs neck. It was horrible staff and handling. I emailed and ask to speak to the owner. Have not heard back yet but I’m not sure how Alicia determines what a dogs personality is in less than 5 minutes. Will never recommend and passing along information to our referrals!

My dog is a maniac full of energy and Camp Bow Wow is the only place I feel comfortable leaving him as far as boarding goes! I love that he gets to roam and play freely ALL DAY (and I get to helicopter parent on the webcams). He always comes home happy, and tired, as a clam.

Will not accept dogs if they are older then four months and are not spayed or neutered.For large breed dogs my vet recommends not fixing my pup until 2.5 yrs old. I personally feel 4 months is extremely pre mature to fix any breed of dog especially large breeds.It would be unhealthy for my dog to meet these requirements. But I am not eligible for their services because I am putting my dogs best interest over their facility rules.

The staff is very uneducated. They interview your dog only based on 15 minutes which in my opinion you cant get to know a dog within that time frame. They dont know how to deal with puppies and the energy level they have. I was very disappointed with the rules and regulations. I went else where and was very happy with the outcome. Do yourself a favor and dont even bother with a chain doggy daycare. Local privately owned is the way to go because they actually care about your dog.

Your staff is unmatched! They are attentive, friendly, and really concerned about the safety and care of our babies. Every interaction is pleasant, even if I am making high maintenance, helicopter mom requests :-) Fiona, in particular, stands out as going above and beyond. Its clear that she is passionate about what she does and this is so much more than a job for her. The front desk staff is wonderful and the trainer (his name escapes me) is fantastic. We havent taken lessons yet, but plan to. When we talk, its clear he really knows my dog and pays attention to the dynamic of the group. The only thing that would really make CBB perfect is non-slip floors. I have a Great Dane and they (along with many other breeds) really benefit from non-slip surfaces for their joints. That is the ONLY improvement I can even think of! So lucky to have CBB!

I would not trust your dog to this camp. If you watch the monitors closely you will see that your dog may not be the play area but rather in a small kennel. Weve seen this on multiple occasions with our dogs. Yesterday when picking up our dog another owner was complaining that their dog was not in the play on several occasions for breaks. You may not be getting what you think you are getting when you bring your dog here. Dont be fooled by the facade, what happens once you leave your dog is perhaps not what you expect.

Judy had a great time today and was very tired when we got home. Staff members are incredibly friendly and make you feel like your pup is the star pup each visit. Very happy!!!

Camp Bow Wow has redefined what a dog day care can be for me. They send emails from my dog when hes there that tell me hes having a great time and playing with his new friends. I dont get a chance to check their webcams when hes there, but just seeing a picture of him happy that day makes me happy. He howls when we get to the door because hes so excited to go in, and he always has the zoomies at the end of the day when he sees me there to pick him up. I think everyone there deserves a raise. Great human beings.

I love Camp Bow Wow! My dog has stayed with their company in two different cities and Ive never had any complaints. I like that there is a live feed and I can watch him 24 hours a day.

My sweet dog got bit on his 4th day there for day camp. The staff didnt notice it and when I picked him up he was bleeding. The manager looked on the tape to try to see when it happened but they couldnt find anything. That means the dog that bit him is still attending doggy day care.

Our dog had her visit. Great staff and I loved being able to watch her on the camera. We have already booked more play dates and will be booking her boarding.

The staff are great with owners as well as dogs! I love the integration of including times of rest throughout the day. A full day of play can be a bit much on some dogs and the resting period helps them to chill out and relax for a period before being released to play again.

Professionally run and superior personal service. I appreciated the whole package that you offer. I also really appreciated that right away they took the time to know my dogs name. I also had positive and kind interactions with EVERY staff member; they seem to enjoy their job! Very impressed!

This is late in coming, but I have nothing but good things to say about the attentive staff here. Their good judgement saved my dogs life while I was out of town (and out of cell service). While my 90lb shepherd was playing they noticed him vomiting a little. If I had been there I would have probably written it off as it wouldnt have been the first time that he vomited for unclear reasons, and he is usually asymptomatic. However the staff appropriately separated him from the play group and checked on him 20 minutes later, and they noticed that his belly was swollen and he was a little lethargic. They quickly got him to the emergency vet and he was diagnosed with gastric dilitation-volvulus, commonly known as bloat, which is fatal condition if untreated. The surgery can cost over 10,000 if there is necrosis involved, but the staff and management caught it so quickly that it only cost 3500 (which is the minimum for an invasive surgery like this one in such a large dog). In addition, as a courtesy they waived my fee, although in retrospect I wish I had declined. They followed up with my dog while he was in the hospital and provided me with thorough updates until I could come home. I HIGHLY recommend this facility And feel that they have demonstrated their ability to quickly handle any emergency situation that might occur. No one wants to think that something bad could happen to their dog while they are away, but Camp Bow Wow clearly had the training to handle it if the need arises! And I am happy to say that over a year later Micah is healthy and happy as ever with no complications from this scary little adventure!

My dog is always tired, happy and taken care of, when I pick him up! The staff is great - super helpful, knowledgeable and very friendly! I would recommend Bow Wow to anyone - especially people with high energy dogs :)

I have used Home Buddies on several occasions and you are always wonderful.Your staff genuinely cares about the animals they tend to. It is wonderful to be able to leave my cat in her own home when we go away instead of uprooting her. Your people are professional and trustworthy.

Easy online reservation system; friendly staff; very clean facilities and always someone with the dogs during day camp; perfect outdoor space for them to roam whenever they want; my dog loves going to Play and I love that I can watch via their online camera.

I appreciate they interview all the dogs for sake of all pups safety. Paperwork for shots etc. *Webcam. Because pups are always supervised, clean up is taken care of right a way. Very Clean. The reason I didnt give 5 stars - they do charge to feed your dog even if you DO Bring Your Own dog food! Its not the $ its just gives a money grab feel when you leave.

I am very happy with camp bow wow. My dog (Sammy) gets plenty of playtime but also gets one on one attention. My dog has anxiety and they are very accommodating.

It was clean . I liked the fact we could check the web cam and our dog could go outside. We had her there from Monday to Sunday. A week later after picking her up she came down with a horrible case of Kennel cough. We had to put her on cough medicine & steroid. She is a 5 year old pug weve boarded her before but at Petco. Never has come down with Kennel cough.

Wouldnt refund my money for an overnight... I had scheduled my dog for an overnight, I was pretty excited as I live in Florida and my dog attends Camp Bow Wow there. They do not have a cancelation fee, only for holidays so I did not realize I had to cancel with in 48 hours. I did try to call them in 48 but I am in Kendall and had no service so figured I would just call within 24 and tell them that I was canceling. I was basically treated like you didnt know? too bad we have to keep your deposit. Really? Im not going to get into why I cancelled but I have a pretty good standing in Sarasota, why couldnt they just give me a credit for another visit? I heard this is more of a commercially run outfit compared to family owned where they really care about pets AND their owners. SO please remember to call 48 hours ahead of time ppl. or they profit from it. P.S I was never told when scheduling that to call within 48 hours.

While visiting from Colorado, I needed daycare for my fur baby for a day!! Wow, what a great place. The staff was super friendly and they took great care of my pup!! Thank you Camp Bow Wow!

It is very easy to make appointments on the website. You get a quick response to emails. The facility is very clean. The staff is very friendly and helpful. I love that they treat doggie friends so well and care for them. My dog always comes home happy and tired. :)

We have used Home Buddies twice a year for the past 4 years. Brooke is fantastic! We have at present 2 cats, 2 rabbits, and 2 outdoor cats. All are well taken care of and she even removes some #2 that sometimes sticks to the fur of one of our rabbits! We will continue to use Home Buddies.

Staff is always pleasant. My dog gets to run and play with other dogs rather than chasing the cat at home. Having staff in the play area assures the safety of my dog.

I love camp Bow Wow, counselors are professional and they know my dog. Lady is happy to go in in the morning and she is getting the socialization she needs.

Very personal service, great to speak with Lee the owner, and the sitting area with video display to watch Bentleys initial integration was a nice touch. He seemed happy. I would recommend this facility.

Absolutely amazingYou can watch your puppy online and they give you updates when you pick them up. She is always tired when I pick her up because she spent so much energy playing

My go to place anytime I am out of town and need a dog sitter. They have camper cams and I can check in on my dog in the afternoons. They really take great care of the pets here.

Awesome! I felt very comfortable with the staff and the facility. I really like being able to check on him on the doggy cam. It was a good value for keeping him active all day while I was working. Will definitely take him there regularly.

Love Camp Bow Wow!!💗. I recently lost a family member and had to move here to be closer but have my very high energy dog to look after as well. I found Camp Bow Wow and my boy loves it so I much!! He gets so excited when we get in the car on our our way to see his buddies. Love the staff who love the doggies and love to be able check in on him when I want to. It’s a really great service and I’m so grateful for. I’ll be sad when I move back but I’ll always know where to go when I return. Thank you!!

Rejected my dog because she was “apprehensive” about being in such an overstimulating environment after I jumped through all their hoops to bring her there in the first place. Extremely disappointed.

Our Westie has visited a few times now and we have been very pleased! Staff very kind, courteous, and answered all of our questions and concerns promptly and attentively ... our pup is happy and so are we!

Very similar experience as review. After purchasing a expensive package, I was told my dog was stalking another dog and instigated a scratching match. Was told my dog could not come back and was not given a refund.
