Green Valley K9

My dog Peanut loves Green Valley K9! She is a very shy dog and all of the staff are so kind and patient with her. It is now her favorite place to go and has helped her become so outgoing and well behaved in public settings! The staff are so nice and give updates on her and the new friends that she made that day at daycare! I also love the photos they post.

I was referred to Green Valley K9. My puppy Remington had a wonderful experience today. The customer service was great, friendly & helpful staff. I loved getting an update in my profile with my dog’s report card & photos during the day. I like that they allow time for the dogs to also rest while there so that it’s not overwhelming. Although my dog wasn’t interested in swimming, I do appreciate there is a pool. Hoping my dog decides to take a swim next time. Photo is of him with new Green Valley bandana

My dog has been loving daycare here, most of the staff are super friendly and you can tell they love dogs. I especially love seeing the pics at the end of the day of her having fun running around with her friends. Having a high energy breed it’s been a game changer bringing her here where they have the space and capacity to keep her occupied. I definitely feel like I’m leaving her in good hands when I drop her off at GV. Highly recommend!

Great place. A clean, organized, professional doggie day and overnight care. I have a great pyranese puppy, and he loves every one on staff, the other dogs, and the swimming pool! I highly recommend Green Valley to any dog owner who wants to see your dog happier than when you left him/her.

Jamie did a wonderful job grooming our pups for the first time. She was very patient, positive, and kind. We are coming back!!! I highly recommend this facility overall.

My pup has been going here for a few months and hes in love. He goes crazy the second he sees the building in our car window. The staff is friendly and caring and my pup loves all of them. The only downside is it is a bit pricey but my philosophy is you get what you pay for and Ive never been let down by this daycare --which is amazing because my pup is a HANDFUL. Also they send you photos of your pup almost every day!! For free!!

My Afghan Hound has been going to Green Valley K9 since they opened. The staff loves dogs and it is evident in the joy they take in their jobs. My dog is shy and fearful but she goes willingly to the staff because they have made her comfortable. I cant imagine having her groomed by anyone other than Amanda. She takes pride in her work and I can tell she really loves my dog. Im so fortunate I have this home away from home for my dog.

I love Green Valley K9! Seriously, I tell everyone who has a dog to check out this place. The facility is always spotless, the employees are caring and my dog always has the best time. I’ve dropped off my dog for daycare and boarding lots of times and never had an issue. Keep up the good work guys!

I have been sending my dog Rocky here for the past 3 years and couldn’t not recommend green valley enough!! The staff are friendly and you can tell they care about the dogs. My dog gets excited to go and he comes home exhausted from a day of fun! They are trustworthy, friendly, and a perfect place to send your dog for a day or overnight stay.

My dobie girl loves it here! This place is like a spa for dogs. The staff are amazing and always cheerful and ready to help! Jamie has been grooming my lab for the past year and I started having her do my mini doodle since March & she always looks so cute!! I’ve been trying out different hair styles to see what is easiest to manage for me, and Jamie is just so patient with me and my crazy pup! I think we’ve found the perfect look🥰 12/10 recommend her for your fur babies

Me and my pup Blayze love Green Valley! He used to go to daycare weekly before we moved out of town but I still utilize their boarding services a few times a year. Blayze cant get in the door fast enough and I have 100% confidence that he is being well taken care of while there. I even get pictures emailed during his stay. I cant recommend GVK9 enough.

The manager Krista is rude, pompous and lacks the ability to communicate with customers. Young kids who work the front desk have 100% better customer service professionalism and should apply for her job.I sent over all of my information for my puppy to have his first day, which took about 2 weeks to get approval. I received an email saying the first day available was October 7. However, I called to ask a question to confirm the start day, which I was collaborating with my work schedule , I asked the young man if there was an earlier start day. He said yes, it was a day for the week prior. He was polite and said let me pass this information along to management for approval.I called back a few days later to confirm the start day in September, and had a much different experience. Krista, right off the bat spoke to me in an awful tone of voice. Like I was stupid and or lying. “I dont know who you spoke to but we dont have a reservation for you for September”. I asked her why she was being so rude, her tone and the way she was speaking to me. She became defensive immediately, I asked her name and position. She provided that and I said ok I will leave a review on my experience with you.Which I did not leave a review, because I thought welp, maybe things will be better and this was just a misunderstanding.NOPE. I go there today, for her to come out and tell me she canceled my reservation. (Even though I never receive a cancellation email that they send out) And that she canceled my reservation because I said I was going to leave a review and hung up on her. I didnt hang up on her.So I basically got the jist of Krista can be rude to customer or people in general, and if they address her behavior, they wont take your dog.

Our dog Ruthie loves all her friends at Green Valley, two-legged and four! We thought we would only send her during the puppy stage, but we love it so much, that shes still going at two years old. She is well-socialized and has great days of play. We highly recommend Green Valley!

The staff is wonderful, but the stand out for me is Seth. He exudes joy when I bring Farley (or ‘Farles Barkley,’ as Seth calls him) into the facility. And Seth doesn’t mind dog breath! Great smoke employee!My boy loves this place, and so do I! All I say to my dog is, “Want to go play with the puppies?” and he races to the door ready to head to GV-K9. There’s a wonderful variety of activities for dogs, including the awesome pool!Thanks for providing a great service!!!

Murphy does the puppy training with Jamie and he has made so much encouraging progress on his behavior since he started working with her. You can tell Jamie really cares about the dogs she works with, and we get a detailed report card so we can continue training at home. Its so awesome that Green Valley carries this service and Id encourage any puppy parents who are losing their minds to consider the day training with Jamie. :)

I cant stress enough how much we love Green Valley K-9. Our dog Murphie LOVES going there!I wouldnt trust my girl with anyone besides them. They have helped and rescheduled boarding and have always taken her when we needed.Murphie goes to Doggie Daycare, and I wouldnt have it any other way. Each morning, she sits at the door and waits for us to leave. WE are always welcomed by first name (especially Murphie) and watching her tail wag tells me enough!I highly recommend Green Valley and actually do all of the time.Murphie has stayed for Doggie Daycare, boarding, and even grooming. She loves everyone that works there!

GVK9 is the best doggie resort in the area by far. Our chocolate lab, Ella Amore, has been going there for over 3 years and she absolutely loves it! The facility is impressive and the staff are always friendly and amazing. Whether it’s a half day of daycare or a week of boarding when we go out of town, we can always feel comfortable leaving our baby in their very capable hands. They put dogs of similar size and temperament together so they feel comfortable interacting and the indoor pool is a nice plus! It’s always nice getting pictures uploaded in the online photo album during boarding stays so we can get regular updates. I highly recommend!!

My dogs love attending! My pups get very excited for play care. The staff seems organized and booking is easy! Great hours throughout the week! Highly Recommend.

We took our great pyrenees, Molly, in for a through grooming and Green Valley did a fantastic job in a very short amount of time for such a big fluffy puppy. Unfortunately, she didnt want to hold still for the camera when we got her home, so the picture is fuzzy, but she is soft and smells nice.

What an amazing new Kennel! This is by far the nicest facility in Rochester New York. The place is extremely well designed, the staff is friendly...and they have a doggy pool! Prices are very fair, we will be boarding here exclusively.

We love Green Valley K9! As we are pulling in the parking lot, Milo cannot get out of the car fast enough! He is super excited to see all his fur and human friends. The staff is amazing. The facility is 5star! Whether its daycare or boarding, we know hes in excellent care. Highly recommend :)

We have been taking our Australian Shepheard here since she was a puppy and love it. The staff remembers our dogs name and our dog remembers the staff even when it has been a few months between visits. The facilities are clean, bright, and open so the dogs can run around and have fun. Each dog is put in to a small group with similar energy level dogs so they wont be overwhelmed. The staff makes every effort to help with any special needs especially when it comes to overnight stays or last minute emergencies. Green Valley K9 has never let us down since we started coming in 2020!

My pup loves going to daycare. She gets excited to see the staff. She started training there when she was 3 months old. Even after they no longer had training, the staff would utilize the training she was getting elsewhere.

Our dog has been boarding at green valley for years and we’ve had only good experiences, and recently he’s started doing daycare and he absolutely loves it. He’s always very excited to go!

Our dog LOVES GVK9! Comes home with a huge smile on her face. It’s especially great that she has a group of big dogs she can really play hard with.

I stopped in today to see if I could book a tour of the daycare facility for my dogs. The guy laughed and said we only tour current clients. He was rude, went back on his phone, and I would define not recommend.

There are so many reasons I could list here on why this place is the best to board and your pet. But this picture kind of sums it up. This group of people are the most caring and compassionate I have ever come across. I wouldnt take my dog any other place.

I had taken my dog to green valley in the past for boarding while we were on vacation… then again 2 different times for daycare and most recently over the Christmas holiday for 1 week. In that week i was never notified of any issues so i thought everything was going good. The day my dog was picked up the information sheet said she could no longer be boarded or have daycare because it was not a good fit for her. The paperwork went on to say that she was very anxious and was “not thriving” So for a full week instead of being notified or my emergency contact being notified they allowed my dog to continuously become anxious or “not thriving”. And then had no explanation as to why we were not notified to this earlier.

I have been bringing my dogs there for grooming since you opened .Never have I had a problem.My husband brought our puppies in, and there was very poor customer service. This young lady was not our regular groomerShe has suggested that we part our ways with K 9. I hope that this issue is addressed .And now K9 has lost a customer from this groomer.Judy Warren

My dog has been to a lot of daycares and this one is by far the best. There is plenty of space for him to roam and play. The staff are absolutely amazing with him and truly care about him. We love GVK9 and continue to tell everyone about it!

My husband and I have been bringing our dog Jack to day care at Green valley k9 for months now and he absolutely loves it! Jack has only been away from us for a long weekend a couple times in his 7 years so when we had to board him for a week we were very hesitant. Green valley exceeded our expectations in every way. The staff is amazing and we knew he safe. The Green valley staff takes pictures of all the pups playing outside and having a good time which was reassuring to see for an overprotective dog mama like myself. Jack came home happy, healthy, and tired from all the fun! It was like a long sleep over with his friends. Thank you to the staff for taking care of our fur baby and making our vacation much more relaxing knowing our most prized possession was being cared for. Truly an amazing place for dogs!

We love using Green Valley for daycare and boarding. They do a wonderful job! Our dog comes home tired and happy at the end of every stay. The staff is great and make sure that the dogs are well taken care of. We will continue to use them for all of our boarding and dog daycare needs.

My Dog loves Green Valley K9. She gets excited as soon as we turn onto East Henrietta Rd. The Staff does a wonderful job. She has to say good bye to each of them everyday when she leaves.

I absolutely LOVE sending my puppy to Green Valley K9. I do not have a single complaint. The staff is so kind and I can tell how much they love my dog. I can tell my dog loves it there too because he looks soooo happy in all of the pictures they post of him. The groomer Amanda is also FANTASTIC! She is so kind and a very talented groomer. I 100% recommend Green Valley K9 for all of your day care, grooming, and boarding needs.

My great dane and I have been going to green valley for almost a month now and have had nothing but great experiences every single time! The staff is super friendly and they handle each dog with their specific needs in mind. They dont just put all the dogs together in one or two big play rooms. They focus on smaller play groups or individual play time, which is absolutely incredible. Highly recommend, it is well worth the price and 20 minute drive for me!

I love the welcoming faces and I really like that management is so personable. Its important to me that they are so careful with how to group dogs together and that they have a lot of outside yard space to run and play. They also have great indoor dog places for them to play in case its raining or stormy they also do not have restrictive places for the dogs to settle. They have a cot and a very large area to themselves. They also offer dog food and treats to my dogs love. Plus training!

Green Valley K9 isnt what is was in the past. New management that has little professional experience with dog behavior has created a different environment at Green Valley K9. My dogs have been there for over 3 years and the new kennel manager and GM are now fearful that my dog may have anxiety and aggression. Black dog with white teeth can be scary Im sure. I saw the video myself and the dog was wagging his tail and barking which is not a sign of anxiety or aggression. There was NO growling, lip quivering, hair standing up on its back or tail between its legs. Hopefully others will speak up to the decline in level of experience of the new management and get Green Valley back to the way it was. Is there training that can be provided to the new GM and Kennel Manager so that they can distinguish aggressiveness from a dog that needs to go to the bathroom and is excited to get out of a kennel? Or maybe have a professional on staff that can actually diagnose anxiety? Or how to distinguish the difference in dogs so you dont give a client the wrong dog on pick up which happened to a friend of mine. Its very sad that what started as such a great facility has turned into such a poor facility because of poor management.The pros of the facility is that you get pictures and can see the dog if they take pictures of your dog.

Our two Brittanys spent 4 nights/5 days at GVK9 right after they opened. We know Josh as he trained our dogs and cared for them a couple times when we were away. He has a natural understanding and love for the dogs, and we know they are in great hands under his watch. Everything about how he built the facility is with the comfort and care of the dogs in mind- from special air filters to rubber mat flooring in the indoor play area that gives the dogs traction and can be hosed down to keep it clean. There is also an indoor pool made for dogs. We feel so fortunate to know Josh and to see his dream facility come to a reality! We also highly recommend the on-site grooming. They did an AMAZING job on both dogs! One has straight hair, the other curly, so one was trimmed, the other with clippers along with ears, nails, teeth. Best groom ever, and reasonably priced. Can’t recommend Green Valley enough!

Absolutely fabulous place for daycare and boarding. Staff is extra attentive to your pets, provide tons of amenities and have someone there 24 hr on-site for monitoring. Our dog loved going there so much!

Dont bring your dogs here. They arent trainers. Theyre young adults with no experience and dont understand or care to understand dog breeds. They will not know how to take care of your precious dogs.

I cannot recommend Green Valley K9 enough!! The team is absolutely incredible. We have a 2 year oldGerman Shepherd who has been attending this facility now for almost a year & to say he is a handful is a true understatement. Our boy is very protective & can get quite aggressive at drop off. Other facilities in the area simply dismissed him... but the GVK9 team could not be more patient or more understanding & accommodating of Kane’s needs!! From daycare to boarding they are truly the best in town! We are so grateful for this wonderful staff & beautiful facility! Absolutely recommend!

Our dogs were on vacation at GVK9 for a long weekend. They looked so happy I. Pictures playing with new friends and SWIMMING! The staff is amazing and made sure each of our pets was taken care of well. The groomers did a great job! All three of our dogs was fluffy and clean! We ah e already booked their next stay!

K9 Valley has been nothing but kind to my sweet over excited boy Jasper. As a new dog mom I find myself very overwhelmed with such an energetic well socialized puppy unlike his mom. Jasper gets so excited when I ask him “do you wanna go to school today?”Best decision I ever made

The best place to take your pup in all of Rochester for boarding, day care and grooming. Staff is incredibly nice, communication is prompt and responsive, and most importantly our dog LOVES going to visit her friends at GVK9.

We absolutely LOVE everything about GVK9! The staff and the facility are amazing. And the grooming salon❤, they do a fantastic job. We are so lucky to have a place like this where we can feel comfortable leaving our fur babies and where they make new friends and have such a great time. Our Bella comes home exhausted🥰

I was terrified to leave my dog Eevee at a boarding facility while I went out of town. I had never been away from her for more than 12 hours so it was a big deal for me. I did a ton of research for best places in Roc and Green Valley K9 seemed like the best option. They offered a free day of daycare which was a really great way to see how she’d handle it. When I picked her up from daycare, she acted like she didn’t even want to leave! When I finally had to drop her off for boarding, I was so nervous. When I walked through the door, the women at the front desk were so friendly which automatically made me feel much more comfortable. While she was there, I received lots of photos of her which was awesome to see her playing and having a good time with the other pups. Overall, I’d highly recommend Green Valley K9! I wish it were closer to where I live so I could take her there more frequently for daycare :)

I have only boarded my two dogs here twice, and most recently the staff were incredibly accommodating when I had an emergency need to board them for two nights. The front desk person (sorry didnt get her name) moved lots of things around to fit my guys in, and I so much appreciate it. I also love that my intact guy is allowed to board there--they just give him a separate play time with a spayed female. Everyone there is super friendly and obviously love dogs.

We took our 3 dogs here to board for 2 nights. The facility is new and very nice. The staff were very friendly. It was nearly $300 to board 3 dogs in the same suite for 2 nights. They talk a good game when they give your a tour. The facility is brand-new, they show you the nice dog pool, and they tell you that the air is cycled every 2 min, BUT......ALL 3 of our dogs got sick with 24 to 48 hours of picking them up. Vet diagnosed as Kennel cough and now we have a $300 vet/medications bill to pay. I called the kennel and spoke with a manager and expected at least some part of a refund. I was told it is not their policy to refund due to a pet getting sick at their kennel cause that happens when you board at a kennel. Our vet said with the severity of the illness for 2 of our dogs that the facility should be shut down and completely sanitized.. We are very sad and disappointed and had hoped it would be a safe place to board near our home. Unless you want to pay for boarding and a vet bill for a sick pet...look elsewhere.

GVK9 is a great place for daycare or boarding your dog! Very happy with both service and staff! Staff is always energetic. Started taking my dog there so they can socialize and she has improved so much! I havent used their grooming services but from what I have seen i am impressed with! Love the daily photos on their Facebook page. May seem a little pricey but they have packages to best suit your needs.

This place is wonderful! The staff is very friendly and responsive with any messages. The facility is clean, and I love all the space it provides for the dogs. Kiwi loves coming here - she has also boarded here plenty of times and it went great. This is our top choice for daycare

We recently brought our 1 year old golden retriever here for her first daycare experience. Needless to say, we will not be going anywhere else. The facility sets the bar in terms of size, experience, and care you are looking for when it comes to your doggo. From the moment you pull up under the covered entrance way (no need to get rained or snowed on when dropping off your pup) to the quick and easy check out, the friendly staff takes care of your dog as if they were their own. You get what you pay for with Green Valley K9 and should look no further for all your dog needs.

The staff at GVK9 are very professional, caring, and passionate about what they do. They love each and every dog as if it was their own pup. I strongly recommend them to anyone looking for a boarding or daycare facility!

This place is really a godsend for us, and the girls there are always so welcoming and cheerful and generous with their hugs and kisses (to our dog) We have been more than satisfied with their grooming, day care and boarding and I am happy to have found a place where he is loved as much as at home.

I have a dog with extreme anxiety and therefore has to be separated out of normal dog activities. Green Valley K9 goes above and beyond to make sure that they don’t allow that to keep her from having a wonderful stay. They are a bit more than some boarding places, but worth every cent! I never have to worry about the care my dog is receiving!

A great fun place to trust your dog to while your away. The pups enjoy play time with dogs their own size and their own suites. They provide daily updates and provide a photo gallery of your pet.I was able to enjoy my time away knowing my pet was in good hands and was having a fun time too.

Our dog loves going there! We took him to petsmart and he had a horrible experience. Since trying green valley our dog is excited to go to camp and loves interacting with other dogs and the staff. The staff know our dog by name and really care for the safety of the dogs. Will never choose another place!!

Great day care for our mini-Dachshund...very caring and accommodating staff...super-easy to book on-line and a lot of great extra services (pool, grooming, etc)

From the moment I toured this facility I knew that this was the place for my dogs. They have built this facility truly with your dog in mind...from the safety features to the boarding suites to the ventilation system - they have thought of everything. The pool and enormous outside park-like play area are top notch and both set GVK9 well above the rest of the boarding/daycare options out there! Josh and his staff are wonderful and my three girls Im sure are looking forward to their next visit.

After an employee suggested a recurring Friday playdate, I showed up to drop my dog off only to be turned away at the desk. Moreover, the staff and director of operations, Kristin Davis, decided to explicitily blame me for it.. Then they decided they needed to address my behavior not their own. So, after having supported them and being a generous tipper(I didnt hear anything about the fact that the staff in the evening and I get along famously, and I am consistently shown gratitude for clearly subsidizing underpaid employees), the director decided she needed scold me for being upset that their staff screwed up. I would never bring my pet there again. Unless you want people who think you owe them something after you support their business and overtip their employees, I suggest going anywhere else in the entire world

We heard wonderful news from many people about the daycare part of GVK9 so for the holidays I decided to board our 2 dogs. I asked for a tour of the facility and I was told over the phone I could have one when I brought the dogs for a trial run and I was denied as it was the holiday season. The staff took my dogs to go out back, no info no nothing and when I asked what was happening I was accused of threatening the staff member as I wanted to see where my dogs went. I asked for a manager and was told I couldn’t see and the dogs and they would be fine and she would contact me in a few hours after they settled in.The owner of the facility called me and harassed me that I was threatening a worker and he would not have it, after hearing my side of the story I got an apology as I told him I would take my dogs else where and he said let’s start over so I trusted him.I dropped the dogs off for vacation and felt good as I saw photos of them online and they looked good. When we returned I asked if they ate as I got 1/2 the dog food back which I scooped out enough for the stay plus one extra day. My one dog when we got home was not normal and I just thought he was tired. Well 900.00 later and severely dehydrated 6 pounds that he lost and needed medication, IV’s as he was couldn’t go to the bathroom from sever anxiety. No one contacted me or the vet that he was anxious.I’m totally disappointed with the care of my pets. I got no records of my animals behavior or a check list if they ate or not.As someone walking in for the first time I feel the customer services was extremely lacking busy or not questions should be answered without hesitation.

GVK9 is incredible! I have been taking my Lab/ Springer Spaniel Clover since she was 6 months old. Now as 2.5 years later still I have full confidence that Clover is loved and cared for through out the day. We recently moved away and GVK9 is one of the biggest things I miss about the area!

I felt so comfortable leaving my fur baby at Green Valley k9! From booking, to drop off, to updates and pickup, the process was seamless. My dog had so much fun and came home exhausted from a great days play! I will definitely be using them again!

We have been customers of GVK9 since the beginning, we absolutely loved this place. Both my dogs had such great times here and there was NEVER issues for 2ish years now. The staff has always been so great with the dogs and the facility is immaculate. My dog is 120 pounds and is the biggest dopey dog out there and today I got an email that he is no longer welcome at the facility. There was an issue last week where a staff member was taking my 70 pound dog back and decided she wanted to take the other one back at the same time. My boyfriend told her NOT once but THREE times you do not want to take them back together it’s too much. But she did not listen and took them both back by herself, she lost control of the dogs and got injured. After multiple phone calls with the staff it was agreed upon that it was not the dogs fault, but the staff members for not knowing better even when warned. Then somehow the staff tells us that our dog escaped from group? But when we called the staff member could not give us exact answers on what happened? This is absolutely ridiculous behavior that my dog is being blamed for this and can no longer go to the facility. If a staff member loses control of the dog how is the dog blamed? That is the staffs fault. For the past two years he hasn’t been an issue but now he cannot be controlled? We’ve asked for explanation multiple times but cannot be given them. This is unprofessional and ridiculous. We definitely will not be using GVK9 any longer.

Excellent and affordable grooming for my very shy dog. His haircut is always so good, and he comes out of there happy and fresh ! The care team is top notch, professional and caring. Carry on the good work!

Great facility and my dog loves coming here! Hes only been here a handful of times, but always comes back tired, and he looks like he has a lot of fun on the photos they post on facebook (apparently for new dogs, they save photos to the dogs profiles...not sure if theyll do this for the old ones). Their new software also makes it easy to book!

Our puppy absolutely loves it here. I dont feel any guilt when I leave him in Green Valleys hands. Hes so excited when he gets there and through all of the pictures they post online of him, I can tell that hes super happy being there. I highly recommend Green Valley K9.

If you are looking for training, boarding or day care look no further. Josh and GVK9 literally saved us from having to re-home our family dog.I spent 2 years in treat training with my boxer. We spent countless hours working with her. Although we learned a few basics - she still didn’t know her boundaries. Jumping and just being a wild boxer were the norm.Once we brought our 1st child home from the hospital we quickly learned that Ellas manner issues were going to cause some serious stress and all the treats in the world werent going to help. Thankfully we were able to send her away on an Adirondack vacation for a month while we got adjusted to our baby and figured out a game plan.Knowing we needed help before we brought her home, we found out about Josh and GVK9 through a friend. Josh spent an HOUR of his time showing us the facility and hearing our concerns about brining our dog home. He answered every single question we had and made us feel confident that he would be able to quickly help correct the issues.We brought Ella back from her vacation and immediately took her to GVK9 for a 4 day board and train. Josh did wonders getting Ella introduced to the E-Collar. Not only did he train her but he trained our family on how to use it and continue the training at home.Our family as well as all of our friends who know Ella are shocked at the results and how quickly she has respnoded to the training.In just 4 short days her jumping issue is almost entirely gone and shes so much more well behaved. Not to mention she had a blast being boarded. Although I think boarding is the wrong term for GVK9, this place is more like a 5 star hotel for dogs where they get to play all day. This place has a friggin indoor pool!We will 100% be brining Ella back to GVK9 for daycare, training and boarding.This place is one of the nicest facilities in the country, not just Rochester. It’s impeccably clean, gorgeous, has amazing staff and just a pleasure to visit,Our family cannot thank everyone enough at GVK9. Were so happy to have our little girl home!The only issue is that Josh is a Red Sox fan...just kidding...sort of.

Took the puppy star training program it was wonderful. Learned so much cant wait for the next program. The facility is clean and lots of room, the indoor pool is a nice addition to day care with its wonderful staff. This is now our go to place, a dogs dream.

I went to GVK9 after work to make an appointment/pay for a Bath for my BFF~Best Fur Friend Jack 🐾Jack was boarding there while his parents were on vacation, and it was going to be a surprise to have Jack clean, fresh and fluffed for his pickup.After the appointment was set and my transaction was completed I asked if I could possibly see Jack for a quick 5 minutes because I was missing my buddy, (Because I see/visit Jack everyday~he is my nextdoor neighbor!)It was late afternoon so the staff was busy with Daycare pick-ups, so it was not the best time to bring Jack out.At first I was bummed, but in hindsight it was for the best as Jack probably would be super duper excited and want to go home with me!Management was doing their job, being cautious, and made a call to Jacks Grandpa, confirming my identity and my request to visit Jack.When Mom & Dad returned home (and cell service restored)...Mom too had a voicemail about my inquiring to see Jack, their policy on outside visits AND I assume to make sure I was who I said I was and not a Looney Dognapper!The staff was kind but serious about the safety and security of their guests boarding 🐾 at GVK9...and that is a great consolation for all Furparents far away from their Furbabies! KUDOS👍

We have had our dog stay for day care and a long weekend boarding. She was happy and healthy at pickup for both. Lots of pictures on their Facebook page of her stay. Staff is always pleasant.

We love love 💕 this special daycare for play time and boarding. My precious rescue loves all her friends and staff! It’s totally a staycation for your fur baby. The staff truly loves their job. She is so well cared for. We tried the mani before she came home-best ever! No jagged edges on her nails. If I could give 10 stars ⭐️ I would.

Im a big fan of GVK9 - from the clean facility to the extremely friendly staff! My vet at Suburban Animal Hospital told me about GVK9 and my 1 year-old mix, Maisie, loves going to daycare there! Weve also relied on GVK9 for boarding and I rest easy knowing that there is someone onsite 24/7 whether Maisie is playing or sleeping. I also like pictures/videos on social media while shes at daycare and the daily emails, with photos, when Maisie is being boarded. It makes me feel like I can check in on her while Im at the office or away on vacation. Maisie is in great hands with GVK9!

Beautiful facility and amazing staff! Highly recommend for day care, boarding, training, and grooming. Im a nurse with crazy work hours, theyre very flexible and being open 6am-8pm works out perfectly!

My boys love it here and they get so excited when we pull up! My one dog is shy and the other hates strangers, but both immediately felt at home. If my budget allowed it they would go every day!

I have a rescue German sheperd who can be a bit of a challenge. The staff at GV K9 is great with him (Tank is there this weekend as I write this review). The facility itself is new, clean and spacious.

I have watched the vision of this facility starting more than 3 years ago become a reality and the word that comes to mind is WOW!! Conveniently located with focus on safety, comfort and of course fun!! State of the art, beautiful facility boasting plenty of play time (including swimming!) with experienced knowledgeable staff! Green Valley k9 is the only place I’d send my girl Ava. They are little pricier than others but you get what you pay for and id never go anywhere else. She absolutely loves it at Green Valley K9! So happy I found such a good place for her to go when I’m not home. They did those Valentine’s Day pictures for me last year lol how cute is that!!!

This facility is top notch if you want to have your dog spoiled rotten for grooming , training or spend a bunch of nights while you are on vacation! We took our little Yorker there for grooming today and Sarah is super caring and friendly!

GVK9 has been a great place for our Bernedoodle Gus. He has gone there twice a week since he was a puppy and is always happy to go. He is now 3 1/2. The staff are amazing. They all know each dog and its personality. They are friendly, even during the occasionally chaotic hand-offs. The facility is beautiful, clean and always smells great; or rather, does not smell at all.Keep up the great work. Thank you.

I was bringing my dog there for the past couple years and decided to pull him out of there for neglect. Since new management this is not the same place it once was..it is more about quantity than quality.. Dont dare ask questions on how your fur baby is as you will get a hard time. Dont waste your time.

Im no dog, but it must be pretty good in this five-star resort....our dogs packed their own bones and cant wait to go!!!This place is like Disneyland for dogs.Highly recommended plus they post pictures of your dogs on Facebook so you can see them in action and they dont want to leave 👍

I brought my 2 year old corgi and 4 month old rough collie in for a bath and brush/ blow out and was very pleased with the different staff, the beautiful facility and how great my girls looked when I picked them up.

I would not recommend taking your dog to Green Valley K9 for daycare. They have officially said Ripley can’t come back to daycare because she was aggressive again. We know about the prey drive she (and her breed) has. This is only the second time we have heard about it. They said this is time number 6. We have never heard of any of the other altercations like this. We had a couple of mentions that she got involved in something, but was told it wasnt her fault. We are the parents that would have willing pulled her after incident two because it’s not a freak accident at that point. They didn’t deem it necessary to tell us of the OTHER 4! And management decided. It was their phone lackey that notified us. We didn’t t even get to talk to management about it. Im giving one star because you have to leave at least one to even post!

The staff at GVK9 are exceptional!! They all are so caring and knowledgeable! Their expertise and kindness do not go unnoticed!

A facility like no other! An indoor in ground swimming pool, private suites and a private dog park for guests. This is what setting the bar for care and experience looks like.

They keep the dogs in the kennel. Only giving the dogs 15 minutes to play. Don’t waste your money on this daycare

Love the staff here - you can tell they really care about the animals and are excited to see your pup. Appreciate that they have different play groups depending on your dogs personality and the facility couldnt be nicer. They are always able to accommodate us for daycare and its great to be able to drop off/pick up at any time you want. Our dog cant wait to get in the door and his tail is always wagging when we pick him up.

I am deeply disappointed by the treatment I recently received from Green Valley K9. I have been taking my toy poodles there for grooming for over a year, monthly until this summer. To my knowledge, only two groomers, Jamie and Amanda, have groomed them. After Jamie groomed them last December, I wanted to know which groomers cut I favored, as there was some inconsistency. Upon learning it was Amanda, I politely informed the staff of my preference. I never criticized Jamies cut; I merely emphasized my preference for Amandas style. I made sure to do this in a way that wasn’t negative towards Jamie, as I had no reason to make her feel bad but I wanted to pay for something I loved. From that point on, I scheduled my poodles grooming sessions with Amanda. I never spoke of this beyond one text message. I was not going to even explain why I wanted to book with Amanda, but after asking who did the cut they asked me if there was an issue.This is what I said via text, verbatim, “I prefer the cut Amanda did, particularly for Cinnamon. The body work is great just the facial shaping in her first cut was the most flattering for her. For their next cut, can Amanda do them? If I need to change dates thats fine.”Fast forward to mid-2023: the girls weren’t groomed during the summer due to pending vaccinations. After updating their vaccinations, I contacted Green Valley K9 to arrange a grooming session. I was informed that Amanda no longer worked there. When I inquired about the current staff, I was told Jamie and two other groomers, Jenn and Kellie, whom I dont recall meeting, were available. I then requested to schedule a grooming session.To my surprise, Green Valley K9 messaged me stating they couldnt accommodate my request due to alleged complaints against all current groomers. This is entirely false. I had only mentioned my preference for Amanda’s style and dont recall ever meeting Jenn or Kellie. Even if I met Jenn or Kellie and forgot, I certainly never made a complaint against them.I suspect that Jamie might have been hurt by my preference for Amanda’s grooming style. This reaction is unprofessional; in service-based industries, its natural for customers to have preferences. Imagine a hair salon refusing service because you wished to book your appointments with a particular stylist!I urge you to consider other options for grooming services. Its disheartening to receive such treatment after supporting this facility.

We love Green Valley K9. I entrust the care of my dogs to very few people/businesses, and Green Valley has been my top choice since they first opened their doors for business. With a clean facility and bountiful staff, you’re always greeted with a smile and someone eager to scoop your dogs up and take them back to get settled in. It’s great to be able to schedule a grooming or a bath while the dogs are boarded here too, as it’s nice to come home to a clean, fresh-smelling dog after being out of town. The dogs are always tuckered out after staying here so I trust that they’re getting plenty of exercise and attention. Thanks to the staff for all that you do for our pups!

GVK9 is a gorgeous facility! I stopped in for a tour last week and could not believe the calm (yet fun!) atmosphere that my dog can enjoy. They thought of everything, from the windows in each dogs private suite to the non-slip floors around the indoor pool. The prices are unbelievably affordable, too! Cant wait to treat my Star to a spa/day of play there.

My pup is ALWAYS excited to enter the building (true sign) and whenever I call to schedule his next boarding appointment, the staff so friendly and accomodating. Really love how clean the facility is - and appreciate that they keep dogs in their play groups based on temperament. Highly recommend.

Wow, cannot agree more with the other recent one star review, sounds like the EXACT same experience. We started using GVK9 when it first opened, daycare 3-4x a week, boarding & Training with Josh. Couldn’t have recommend the facility to more people, it was amazing!! I felt so comfortable and thankful for the wonderful staff and training. However, since April, this facility has quickly gone down hill.We also had a negative experience at drop off the other day, where they stated our one dog showed signs of “aggression”, the video footage also showed otherwise, zero barking, growling, teeth showing, hair standing up etc, yet because he showed one single sign of EXCITEMENT and jumped (mind you not even at someone) it was “aggression”. The comments made to my fiancé at drop off by staff were unprofessional & inexcusable.I made MANY phone calls, no one picked up, left voicemails, no return calls until 10 plus hours later, sent emails all of which went unanswered until I was requested to come in for a meeting with the owner and GM to re-evaluate my dog. We declined the meeting, out of pure anger how the entire encounter was handled. Zero photos of either of our dogs were posted all weekend. Which made us feel incredibly uncomfortable not knowing how they were taken care of.We returned to town a day early to get our dogs back. Upon picking up our dogs, the young attendant threw the leash at me, as it fell to the floor she backed away acting as if he has viciously attacked her. This new staff is completely inexperienced and beyond unprofessional. He’s so aggressive that they took him for the weekend and then drop the leash to set him free in the lobby at pickup?! Makes perfect sense!! Our other dog, who is 10 years old, came out of the facility reeking of urine.We will NOT be using this facility any longer. I would NOT recommend this facility to a single person as it is today. We are SO incredibly disappointed.

Our boy Benson has a tough time remembering his size/strength and can sometimes play pretty rough with some pups. He’s been dismissed from other daycares because of this and I was so nervous about bringing him here and gave them his background. They said “no problem!” If he has days where he’s overwhelmed or just seems to be playing a little more rough they give him one on one time. They don’t want your pups to fail while there. They do everything they can to make sure your pup is happy, safe and having fun . They call us if he is having one on one time. They keep you in the loop. He always comes home completely exhausted. The staff is so fantastic and so patient with Benson. We appreciate them more than anything. We look forward to seeing the pics they post while he’s there. We highly recommend GVK9!! 💙🐾

WOW!! Did a tour of the facility last week and I cant even begin to describe it. I have toured a lot of facilities in the area and this is by far the most organized, professional , clean, friendly, kind, and spacious place around. The outdoor space is the biggest I have seen. Every single detail of each amenity was really well thought out and was done RIGHT. You can tell the staff genuinely cares about each dog and their experience. AND also the owners as well. There are countless other daycares closer to my house but I am willing to drive the extra miles to get to this place-its THAT good. Go check them out for yourself-you too will be blown away.

My girlfriend and myself went to check out this brand new facility and we didnt like it, we absolutely LOVE it. Where do I start. This facility located in Henrietta has amazing amenities like individual private play rooms and a large shared indoor play area (3600 sq. feet), a swimming pool (20 x 20), a veterinarian exam room, a bathing/full service grooming room, a training area, two kennel areas (one for large dogs and one for small dogs) with 90 custom boarding suites with raised beds so the dogs dont have to sleep on the hard concrete floors and a 44,000 sq.foot outdoor dog park.If youre looking for a place to take your dog for daycare or extended boarding stays I think youll love what Green Valley K9 has to offer.Call them and make an appointment for a tour with one of the girls.
