At first I was really hesitant about boarding my small dog but I wouldnโ€™t hesitate to use Foster Family again. If I had to leave my dog, I liked the idea of him being in a house and not kenneled for hours. At first, we did a meet and greet with their dog and family. During boarding, I was sent daily text updates and their little girl seemed to adore him. Teddy seemed comfortable in his home away from home. Communication through the process was timely too. Thank you for an easy process and a great stay!! ๐Ÿ˜Some photos of Teddy from his stay.

The Fosterโ€™s took amazing care of my two dogs while I was out of town. I was nervous at first because they can be a handful most of the time. But Eric and Alicia made me feel comfortable with picture updates to let me know they were doing well. They provided plenty of exercise for them and when I returned they were so tired out they slept the rest of the day! I highly recommend Foster Family Dog Care and will be using them again in the future.

We were having great difficulty securing help to watch our two dogs (four legged children) prior to departing for a family wedding out of state. We found either our friends and family were attending the wedding or their living situations had changed where in the past it was doable to care for our dogs, and now, it is not. I finally had found a distant relative to care for our dogs a few weeks before we were to leave. However, it fell through due to a medical issue. I was panic mode. Our vet, our rescue group (who adopted our dogs to us), our close friends and family gave us recommendations for pet care while we were to be gone. All and I reapeat all recommended kennel situations they had used for their own dogs. Not only was I shocked, but I was horrified! So, I looked up dog sitters online. The first one I found was the Foster Family. Their website looked too good to be true.I contacted them anyway. I asked pertinent questions. They answered all my questions well, and I had hoped honestly. (Due to many of lifes experiences, I am not one who trusts others easily.)We made an appointment for a meet and greet. When I left their home with my dogs, my anxiety and depression which had built up knowing we had to leave our dogs behind dissipated. Not only that I had total peace. When I returned to the Fosters to drop off my dogs to leave for 3 full days and 4 nights, my dogs willingly and happily ran (not walked but ran) into their house. They were fine as I left.I anticipated my Cocker Spaniel was going to cry and howl. I had prepared Eric and Alicia for this most likely possibility. Totally out of character for him, he did not cry nor howl with sadness which is remarkable. This time, I left all with complete peace and joy!As per the Fosters website, I did receive daily photos and texts while we were away. Our boys looked like they do when they are happy and chill at home. When I picked them up they were happy to see me in a calm, normal manner. As dog parents, you know the difference when they are happy and well, or when they are happy with anxiety relief (like after a painful or stressful vet visit). My dogs actions and behaviors throughout this entire process affected me with deep peace and genuine trust for the Fosters.(Note:We all know people who look kind and are incredible actors. I am always uneasy with strangers no matter how genuinely positive all seems. Unfortunately, I have had such experiences with negative outcomes.)Eric and Alicia Foster are genuinely who they say they are. In fact, what they share on their website is humble. I feel blessed to have met them and the rest of their sweet family.I will not hesitate to call them again to sit for my dogs.I know this sounds selfish, but I debated about how much I would share about them in my review as I know if they get too well known, they will get too busy for my future bookings. However, they deserve to be fully recognized with full transparency for the genuine TLC for the pet family members they are entrusted to sit.

What can I say except THANK YOU! We have struggled to find a place...a family...willing to treat our little Cocoa like she was their own. We cant say enough how fortunate we are to have found Eric and Alicia. Even their beautiful little daughter loved her and was happy to see her! We felt relieved knowing she was being well cared for all weekend, free to be anywhere in and out of the house (fenced back yard), etc. They took her for walks, sent us pictures, and made adjustments to accommodate our schedule. We are so thankful, and well certainly ask them to care for our Cocoa again!!
