Rescued Treasures Pet Adoptions

These people are so incredible. Talk about caring individuals who reached out to ME when my dog Sierra went missing in Kendall. They created a flyer complete with plastic sleeve/organized groups of people to hang them the correct way.. who even know there was a correct way...offered support and even let me borrow their cellular camera. Gave me special food and ultimately set up a trap and caught her based on their expertise. They were avail 24/7. Sierra is home and doing fine. Thanks to these unbelievably caring people. Cant say enough about them. Consider them as a place to donate. They dont receive big government grants they count on donations to do everything they do. We will forever be grateful ❤️❤️

The people running rescued treasures are all about the animals. They take the time and effort into making sure the cat or dog is a good fit for the new forever family. I applied for adoption of a cat and was interviewed by the kitty. It went well, but the kitty thought she might be happier with someone else. So, I saw another kitty. His name was Batman. We hit it off right away. He is a delight to have at home and he is as happy as happy can be. My cat and Batman are learning to share space and my company. And… I am very happy. Thank you Rescued Treasures for being there to save these wonderful animals and finding them forever homes. I know where I am going again if I need a new family member!

I love being a foster family for this group! There is a wealth of knowledge and super from the whole team. Knowing that Im part of a group that helps save the lives of so many animals is a privilege.

While the pet I applied to adopt is no longer available, as an adoption is pending, I still am very happy with this organization. I got a very professional email explaining change of availability from the foster mom. She took the time to reply in a very kind way and while Im a little sad we arent in time to adopt him, I believe his foster mom found him a great home.

Ive tried to adopt 2 cats from here but its been extremely hard to communicate with this company. They have pets for adoption at PetSmart but yet you cant adopt them at the store, you have to through the website. I emailed them multiple times over the past few weeks but didnt get a response until the 3rd week that the cats I put in a application for were already pending. How are you ever going to get your animals a home if youre main process of adoption is this difficult. So many animals at this place have probably missed good families because of this.

My daughter and I visited Pet Supplies Plus on Empire Boulevard two weeks ago. We quickly fell in love with two bonded Brothers. I submitted an online application (about 30-45 minutes).Three days in a row we to visit what my daughter called my boys.. They were adorable and quickly bonded with her. Well-meaning volunteers each day told us Im sure youll get them. You seem like wonderful people and the cats clearly love you! Mistake number 1. Never assume an adoption will go through. The organizations coordinator called us Wednesday and told us we could pick up The Boys on Saturday. Friday night she called to tell us that unbeknownst to her the boys foster mom had gotten an application which had been approved and at another family was picking up the cats the next day instead of us. And oh, by the way, if they dont show or they decide not to go through with the adoption my daughter can have them after all. Mistake number 2. The cats foster mom then proceeded to send me a lengthy texts with pictures of cats. Mistake number 3.My daughter clearly told the coordinator, that we would never adopt from them and that the lack of communication was disturbing and unprofessional. Yet we still received another call from the coordinator. Mistake number 4. I finally had to tell her it anyone connected with this organization not to contact me or my daughter in any way again, or I would take legal action for harassment.

They got to meet back to me quite quickly. However I still couldnt find out how to adopt certain animal. They did send me their website but it was unable to see what dogs were available. I have used them before and I will intend to use them again soon as I can figure out the website

We love RTPA adoptions and everything they do for cats and dogs! We adopted both our cats from them. We love that they make sure they are going to the perfect home. Thank you as always for helping finding pets homes

DO NOT ADOPT HERE. My dad and his fiance adopted a kitten, were approved, then one week before the pick-up date were told the foster would actually be keeping them. Look elsewhere.

This Pet Rescue and adoption group is great. They have very loving fosters and do a great job making sure their cats are well taken care of and adopted by caring and responsible people.

Five stars for the mission of this organization and staff (not sure how many are on staff, but the guy who I dealt with was fantastic). My cats had all their shots and were chipped. It has been just over two years since I adopted my polydactyl fur babies and I cant imagine our lives without them. As others stated, it is confusing to find them because as far as I can tell, there isnt an actual place called Rescued Treasures. It seems like thats just the name of the organization for all the people who foster pets and then when theres the possibility of an adoption the animals are moved to Petco. Mine were at the Irondequoit Petco.

I got my cat from there her name is Francesca Frankie / shorts I do love this cat so affectionate definitely a lap cat just what I was looking for as cats go that is Im very happy

The location listed is a pet store but they have nothing to do with the process. You have to reach them by email only.

The lady that runs this rescue is not friendly. We took a dog in and it did not work out with the dog and she came to pick him up with a huge attitude. I wouldnt recommend. There are people who run rescues that are much nicer. Id find another rescue!

Two of our cats came from Rescued Treasures and the care that the cats received before adoption through the rescue was second to none. Consider them if youre considering adopting!

ETA: In response to response here - we were in contact with the foster, they said they were passing our info along to RTPA to help us find another animal, but no response other than here. We also emailed the RTPA email address and got no response. This was over 3 weeks ago now, still no responses from anyone other than the foster who referred us back to the organization to find another animal. I would have loved the opportunity to find another animal, but since the org and the foster can only seem to respond to google reviews and not via email, I dont really know how it would be possible to proceed.I wish I had read some of these reviews before trying to adopt with RTPA. Very similar experiences of conflicting information coming from foster and very difficult to get in contact with anyone at all. We were told by the foster that our information had been passed along to a specific person at RTPA to try and find another pet and we also reached out separately via email (since there does not appear to be a way to reach out by phone) and we never heard back.

Unable to help. Seems like all they do Just keep referring people to other agencies, who refer people to other agencies, who then refer right back to rescued treasures. Yes realize pandemic, too many or not enough adoptions, suggestions were unhelpful.

This location is for their P.O. Box. I emailed this adoption place twice inquiring about adopting some kittens and havent heard anything back. Not sure Ill be using them in the future.

Love all the dogs but just dont have what I am looking for
