Stoney Pointe Pet Hospital

Generally the clinic has been good to me and my pet. However, the most recent visit, I wasnt too happy about, not only did I arrive to my appointment early but they clinic was 20 minutes late, I felt a little disrespected, I had people come in with their pets ahead of me and went right in. My advice to this clinic is to schedule appointments on days where mine is conflicted with someone else. I basically sat in the waiting area the whole time and they charge me 54 dollars, thats outrageous, I was very displeased. I hope they dont do this to me again.

There is a character limit for reviews unfortunately. This is our experience over the last week. TLDR:-If you are the owner of a cat with underlying health issues, maybe consider another vet.-If you know your animal trust your gut, do not take everything said from them at face value.-Tech working at the front had to be asked twice to get the medication for my cat. As well as forgetting to set up our extremely important follow up.-Communication to us about results of important exams were not received.-Documentation was not properly forwarded to the Hospital who was receiving our pet even though the drive to the hospital was an hour and a half away. Thankfully we requested a paper copy before we left.-Never returned my voicemail when we needed their help and professional opinion.-Constantly overheard the staff talking poorly about clients and their animals during both most recent visits.-We felt as though we were bothering them with our cat undergoing a medical emergency.More in depth about all these things in the attached images.

Wow! The staff here was great they even brought my kids a toy bin to distract them. The vet gave lots of information. Nice job

Just wanted to share how wonderful the staff is at Stoney Pointe. We live in Canandaigua and our 10yr old Lab was passing on late in the day. Stoney Pointe was good enough to wait and accommodate our pet in need when no other facility would see us. Our heartfelt ♥️ thanks for your care and compassion at a difficult time. Thank you!

My dog developed a limp and I ended up at Stoney Pointe on a Saturday a few months ago. They originally had no appointments but called with a cancellation for me to take. They were amazing with my pup and addressed all my concerns. I was in between vets at this point and ended up asking to be a new patient with them after this visit. Cost was very reasonable and they didn’t go over the top with unnecessary testing etc. I ended up there again a few days ago when my dog developed a limp on his other front leg. Naturally I was going out of town a few days later and they again squeezed us in. Saw a different doctor who was just as amazing. I actually received a call today from them, checking in to see how my pup is doing. My dog is dog reactive and they are great about it. Front desk staff was friendly and awesome too. I was pleasantly surprised with the service and attentiveness to my pup. This vet is also much closer to where I live. The previous vet I was at was chaotic and overpriced. I am very happy with my decision to make them my officially new vet.

We recently had to put down our 15 yr old beloved best friend and dog Paco. He was the greatest and our everything. Our primary vet couldn’t get us in same day and recommended Stoney Pointe. They got us in right and away and we’re amazing from step one. They were gentle and kind and gave us as much time as we wanted before we had to say goodbye. We just got back the urn and it is stunning with his named engraved. They also put together a certificate and grief help and made a beautiful clay paw print. It has the year, a heart, and ribbon. For such an awful thing we had to go through we couldn’t have been in better hands and highly recommend them for anyone you needs assistance with their loved one. Thank you Stoney Pointe for taking such good care of our special man and help giving us the peace and healing we need in this difficult time.

I was surprised at the quickness of service. Hospital was super clean and very efficient. Our pet was well taken care of. We were treated like we had been long time members. Our vet was very attentive.

Had a new patient visit and was ecstatic with the service and professionalism of everyone. Very pleasant to me and very patient with my dog who is not the most cooperative patient.So glad I switched.

I switched here after going to another vet in the area. I was blown away. They truly care and will do everything they can to help you. They really try and make your pet feel comfortable as well., this will be my vet for life! I recommend them to everyone I know!

Absolutely amazing care and at good prices! Found this place when my baby was in an urgent need and animal hospitals were awful! Recommended this place 100x over!

I love the fact that the vets take their time with each patient and answer all of our questions. They are knowledgable, friendly, and patient, unlike other vet offices weve been to in the past where they only allow 5-10 minutes with each patient, rush through your visit and questions, and you never know which vet out of 5 or 6 youll get. ..not very personable. Stoney Pointe is amazing!!

We took our dog Louie for the first time today. We were able to get him in for a sick visit within 24hrs of calling. Dr. Brawdy was absolutely amazing with us. She was up front with what we needed for him, why it was being done, how much it would cost and a plan for the future. Its a little bit of a drive for us but we definitely will be keeping them as our vet going forward. Louie loved it there too, despite being poked and prodded! Thanks for giving him such great care!

Only came here twice for appointments. Was impressed from the first appointment and disappointed on the second.First appointment went well with no issues. My cat got great care and all the best services. Note that this place in my opinion is expensive compared to my old vet.Second time, I was told that the vet technician that I had that day might not have gone above and beyond for my cat compared to the vet technician from my first appointment. There were drastic differences I noticed from the two appointments and the services I got for those days. In addition they still charged me an arm and leg for just a 10 minute check up that was not on par with my previous appointment.I’ll be sure to ask specifically for a vet technician or veterinarian that provides the best care next time. I’d advise you do the same or look elsewhere because your pet always deserves the best care that ALWAYS goes above and beyond.

I had an emergency with my 11 year old dog. Sadly, she had a spleenic tumor and there was nothing they could do except possibly prolong her life by a few months. I made the decision to put her to sleep. The staff were all caring and wonderful with both her and I.

Excellent boarding services! Caring staff, lots of ourdoor time, and happy dog to return to.

They were wonderful I had an emergency with my dog Mariah they made time to see her they were kind fast and reasonably priced

What a way to start a new year, when my 12 yr. plus Bichon named Pepe was in distress in the early morning hours of Wed. Jan. 3rd.I ended up taking him to Stoney PointDr. Jamie Araki was absolutely wonderful. I cant say enough to describe her. She was compassionate, patient, and very transparent about certain matters regarding my dogs health. I was astonished with the kindness she showed us by not nickel and diming us for everything she did during the visit. A breath of fresh air for sure. Happy to say that she is our new vet!!!!Also, Heather her assistant was amazing as well.A shout out to Molly at the front desk, as well as Olivia who took my call when I was in search of a place who could see my sweetie who had been in distress since the middle of the night. She got us in right away, and was extremely helpful giving us the best possible route to get there.Although Im disappointed that our vet couldnt see our dog because on Wednesdays he only does surgeries, in a way it ended up to be a blessing in disguise because I found a gem....Dr. Jamie Araki and the rest of the staff at Stoney Pointe.

They got me in same day for my sick dog. Friendly, clean and efficient! I thought the pricing was fair and affordable. Would recommend!

This place is a joke took my 7month old pitbull here for and emergency and they were scared of him, he was friendly and they were terrified. They didnt even do anything looked at him and didnt take blood work or his temp, just gave us medicine and sent us on our way. They gave us medince that he had to eat with his food but we went there because he wasnt eating and he had a limp and he was not pooping. We made an appointment at another place and they told them that they never took care or have any documentation of the visit. Yet I got paperwork of the visit. I do not recommend going here if you have a big animal.

Very kind and accommodating staff. My pup didn’t like her shaved but however it was best course for treatment! Would highly recommend!

My dog is not a patient at Stony Point Animal Hospital but yesterday we found her lethargic and acting like she ingested some kind of drug, without hesitation the staff immediately got us in and rigorously took care of my dog. She spent the day there for observation and I cannot speak highly enough of every staff member in that building.👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻

The staff here were efficient, patient, knowledgeable, and compassionate in treating my cat. I trust the doctor I saw and will be bringing all my animals here in the future, as pricing was much more affordable than my last vet.

Weekend hours. Can get us an appointment in a reasonable amount of time. Well priced.

We always have a great experience at Stoney Pointe. We have taken our 2 rescues there for years. The staff is always accommodating. Cant say enough good things about Dr. Rogers or Dr. Schumacher. They are very knowledgeable and have plenty of patience with our dogs. Ive never had an issue getting in right away. Id highly recommend this vet to everyone.

Absolutely love this vet. I moved around Rochester and stayed with them even when I have had to drive a half hour to get there. They have always been so kind to me and cared so much for my dog. When Artemis got sick they were so compassionate, and I wouldnt have wanted anyone but Dr. Rogers with us at the end. I now bring my new furry family members to them as well.

We were 8 minutes late for an appointment and they refused to see my dog for emergency care. Never at any point during booking did they convey that appointment windows were tight and that any delay was unacceptable. Heartless.

Doctor Rodgers takes excellent care of Tess, and the staff is always helpful and friendly. My dog is afraid of the vets office, but they do everything g they can. To make her comfortable and feel loved. She gets so overjoyed when she interacts with the staff, and they keep her healthy all year round. Thank you to everyone who works here, and for those looking for a new vet, look no further.

Dr. Rogers is wonderful! She takes the time to explain everything thoroughly and I never feel rushed. She truly cares for her patients. The entire staff is wonderful as well. I feel very comfortable when I take my dog (who we adore!), there whether its just for a check up or a surgical procedure.

I couldn’t have had a better experience! I absolutely love Stoney Pointe Animal Hospital! I’ve been bringing my dogs there for many years! We recently saw Dr. Rogers and she was so compassionate not only to my fur baby Bubba, but also to me! I called in a panic with questions after our visit and she was amazing with how she spoke to me and calmed me down. Everyone in that office is incredibly kind and compassionate from the reception area, vet techs and both Dr. Schumacher and Dr. Rogers. I thank all of you from the bottom of my heart!

Both Dr. Rogers and Dr. Schumacher are great. I’ve been taking my dogs to them for 9 years now. I’ve always had a positive experience with everyone! The office is big and very clean. The staff is great with my dogs, very kind and gentle. I can’t say enough good things about Stoney Pointe!

Our first time visit was wonderful-even though things were different due to COVID restrictions. They are professional, caring, and gentle. When my cat came home, she was calm and didn’t bolt out of her carrier, seeking shelter under the bed. She seemed relaxed! They must have been very gentle with her.

We had 4 cats ( 2 boys & 2 girls) & take all of them to Stoney Pointe. Recently we lost our 2 older boys within 3 weeks of each other. Both were put to sleep @ Stoney Pointe. The staff mourned with us. Our 1 boy was Siamese & developed health issues. He had to have surgery, which was done @ Stoney Pointe, but sadly his health issues progressed & took him from us. But for the months he battled Stoney Pointe was right there helping. Sometimes he had issues that just popped up & they would fit us in same day. They were always there for him, & us, & all our other cats. Now we just have the 2 girls that we take there. They make us, our cats feel important. All the staff are incredible.Take your animals there. You wont regret it. Promise!

Ive been taking my dogs here for over 14 years. Never a wrong diagnosis, never a long wait, never a single mistake. When we had to take our oldest dog, Scamp, to another vet to be put down (SP was closed that day) a staff member came to our house in person to drop off a bouquet of flowers and a hand written note. Even a patient during their very first visit wouldnt have a single doubt that they love what they do and they genuinely care about each and every human, cat, and dog they interact with.

Was nervous with the new staff. I didnt really know what to expect. They were completely perfect and worked with me while figuring out my pups health and what the best course of action was

Im new to the area and needed a new veterinary clinic for my very timid kitty. At Stoney Point they were gentle, kind, patient, and knowledgeable in handling her. The clinic is very clean and quiet. The staff is wonderful. Their prices are reasonable and worth the care they give. It was the best experience Ive ever had with a veterinary clinic!

I love Stoney Point Pet Hospital!!! They all, from the Doctors, to the techs, to the office staff, truly know each one of my dogs and make me feel like they legitimately care for each one of them! The Drs never just rush you in and out. They are very knowledgeable and informative. I would recommend Stoney Pointe to anybody in a heartbeat!!! :) We tried 2 different places before finding them and am SO happy we kept looking!!!

Nothing! Everyone who works at Stoney Pointe is always so kind and helpful. Our dog, Munch, is not a fan of the vet but which can be tough for the vet and tech but theyre so understanding and patient with him. We love it there! Thank you for everything you guys do, we appreciate you!

I have been taking my dog to Stoney Pointe for a few years now. Everyone is friendly and knowledgeable. In addition to routine preventative medicine, my dog needed surgery for a mass removal and she needs medication for some minor issues. I feel that the staff, including the veterinarian, is responsive to my concerns and my dogs needs. I am comfortable leaving her in their care when necessary. I would recommend this practice to my friends who live in the area.

The office is welcoming, clean, and spacious. The staff is friendly and helpful, they gave me all the time I needed to ask questions. Our vet is refreshingly honest and knowledgeable. I left feeling very comfortable and happy that our feline family member is in trusted and kind hands.

Dr. Rogers helped with my dog Lucky in an emergency and she was so wonderful and all the techs were amazing with my sick little girl.

I am very disappointed. I called to make an appointment for my Dog because she was feeling unwell. A day later, due to a conflict I cancelled it. When I tried to make a new appointment the receptionist made it very difficult to do so. She questioned me on why I cancelled it in the first place in a rude and sarcastic attitude. In response, I told her I simply wanted to schedule the appointment before I left for a vacation just to make sure my Dog was ok, but she continued to make it difficult to do so. I eventually got my appointment but after, I called for a follow up (as the doctor said to do so) . The technician answered and did an amazing job helping me, but concerning the bad experience I previously had the day before, I asked if I could speak to the office manager to report the incident that happened to me. The office manager answered and it ended up being the receptionist that was disrespectful to me on the day of the incident. As soon as she answered, she started to complain and excuse herself from the bad service I experienced from her instead of helping me solve the issue. Then told me that if I didn’t like her service I should move vets and “she would be glad to give me my dogs records”. I’m disappointed that someone in that position would treat their costumers with such high disrespect. I definitely will not recommend this vet.

That they are very great veterinarian very friendly and they got me in in the I called them on Friday and they got me in the same day they are great with my puppy poo Im glad Im I went because I met some very sweet people

I cant say enough about this animal hospital. Though Ive been having them care for my fur baby for routine care it wasnt until we had an emergency that I truly understood how awesome and great they are. Our baby became seriously ill and they didnt make us wait to bring him in and because of their wonderful care he is on his way to recovery. Thank you.

Stoneypointe is by far the best vet my dogs, cats and I have ever experienced. Ive recommended them to friends who absolutely agree. Practical, effective -- your pets health, comfort and happiness is their top priority. Wholeheartedly recommend!

My kitty of 18 yrs. Had to be put down. I called about 7 hospitals and they wouldnt take him. Stoney pointe did! They were so very kind and so understanding. Thank you for everything you did for Runt today. You ladies were wonderful ❤️

“Your dog is a mess”, how would you like your vet to make this statement to you when your pet is suffering ??? This is what this vet said to my 85 year old mother. Disgusting! This veterinarian needs to have his license revoked. Is this what you want to hear about your beloved pet? That your pet is “a mess?” Cruel!!! He is cruel!!! Shameful!!! Absolutely hurtful to have to hear your pet described as a “MESS”. My mother had her dog Scarlet put to sleep by a vet she didn’t know but was given empathy and compassion.

Dr Rogers and her techs are wonderful and caring. My little guy has lots of anxiety and took to her and her techs instantly. Our visit was affordable and procedures for covid guidelines were explained thoroughly over the phone before we got to our appointment.

Ive been taking my dog here ever since he was a puppy. The staff is always extremely friendly, and Dr. Rogers is awesome! She is always very thorough with explaining what is going on and is willing to answer any questions! Would highly recommend to anyone

We have been trying to find a vet to see our dog couldnt believe how difficult that was stoney point saw our dog within a day of calling them we explained our dog was suffering with ear problems turns out he had double ear infection they were absolutely great from check in to check out the doctor was very nice and explained everything very sweet people Im so glad we found them

They take care of my dogs as if they were their own, i love their late hours and that I can always call and get live person whos willing to help. It a fun event taking my dog to Stonypointe! Everyone there is caring, personable, and treat me like Im the only patient, not a number. Through every experience Ive had, Im glad to be sharing my dogs lives with them.

I wanted to be sure to share the absolutely horrific service my family and I received while visiting the vet to put our beloved 15 year old dog to sleep, the first and only dog my family has ever had. Upon arrival to our 11:00 appointment, we waited to get any service at the desk. When we finally got to the desk, the flustered and unfriendly receptionist was ANSWERING THE PHONE while trying to check us in. When she found the necessary paperwork, it was treated like a business transaction. Not a word of condolences was uttered, the phone was ringing off the hook, and she continued to take calls. Even after clearly learning of the reason for our visit, she simply asked the required question Did you dog bite anyone? and then never once offered a word of comfort. . We then waited for thirty minutes in the waiting room with our dog on the cold, hard floor.When we were finally taken back to a room, the vet was wonderful, kind and patient.In 15 years my family has been to several vet clinics, never have I seen such a poorly run practice. No one should EVER experience treatment like we did, on what was already the hardest day of our lives.

I have been taking my dogs here for years and have received nothing but top notch care. My dog recently had a bowel obstruction (from a chewed up Kong toy!) and they literally saved his life with surgery. Caring staff, reasonable prices and they were great about calling me with updates on my boy Beau. LOVE this place!!

I’m new to the area but have been very happy with my experiences here so far. They were very attentive when I called regarding my sick dog. They got her in & taken care of right away. I highly recommend!

We have been using this vet practice for about 5 years. I would definitely recommend them to anyone. During this pandemic the staff has been extraordinary. Our dog needed her vaccines and heartworm medicine and special food. We called when we got there and answered all pertinent questions and the tech came out and got her. After awhile Dr. Rogers called us and told us everything about the office visit and asked if we had any questions or concerns. The techeck then brought our dog back out along with the food and meds. Very caring group of people especially during these trying times.

The staff is great and both docs have taken care of our many furry friends. We are so grateful for their expertise and compassion that they have demonstrated over many years with each animal that we bring to them. Couldnt be without them.

We love our vet and been going there for 10+ years. We love that they know us by our first names. That’s a great feeling to us. Great team Dr Schumacher has put together that he has working for him.

We were referred to Stoney Pointe when we adopted our dog, Dexter, and we couldnt be happier with the care he gets there. The staff is warm and welcoming, and the vets are patient and kind. Highly recommend!

First time visit was excellent. The customer service was amazing and they showed my dog comfort and genuinely cared about his injury and allergies. I would highly recommend Stoney Pointe Pet Hospital to anyone looking for a new veterinarian.

Staff is very pleasant & knowledgeable. It was Olive & my first visit and the atmosphere was very comfortable.

The only place to go for pet care. Everyone truly support and care for pet parents and their pets. Stone Pointe is also a full service pet care facility. Kass loves everyone on the staff, and they love him as well. I have to travel on occasion - the staff makes Kass feel right at home while I am away! They have made it much less stressful for me, and for Kass!Everytime we visit, every team member comes to say hi. Including Dr. Schumaker and Dr. Rogers! My only challenge now, after 6 years, is getting Kass leave!!!

I dropped my 2 cats off to be boarded for 8 days. $350 later, they came home infested with fleas. We were not given the recommendation by anyone at Stoney Pointe to flea treat them before dropping them off. Do not board your pets here unless youre willing to pay another $120 to treat them for fleas afterwards. Not to mention the receptionist messed up our initial payment and told us we owed an extra $50 more than we had first paid.

After 3 months and $1500, dog getting sicker, all they could come up with was to take another x-ray. To what end? I requested to speak to the doctor to see what my options were. He never called. Took my dog to a different vet and received a completely different diagnosis. His health has improved dramatically.I suppose for routine check-ups and care, these folks may be great, but if your pet has something they are not familiar with, do not wait as long as I did. Get a second opinion.

Following a vacation, mu husband and I came home to a very depressed cat. For days he refused to eat, drink, or do any of the things he loved. I brought Grover into the vet after a few days and Dr Rogers & Lauren (vet tech), saw him and gave him fluids as he was dehydrated. They offered me advice for the coming days and asked that I call back and let them know how he was doing. After a tough weekend, I called back for advice and spoken to Lauren. She was incredibly helpful and offered several ideas on how to continue helping Grover. Not once did I feel rushed or silly asking my questions, as she was very patient and caring. She also understood my reluctance to bring him back in because of the stress that it would put on him in. Her ideas worked well and within a day he was eating on his own again! I appreciate all of their advice, but also their follow up and caring. Never did they push expensive options, and only suggested blood work if he continued to refuse to eat. Thank you, Dr Rogers & Lauren!

Last springtime our pet cat Sophie was dying and in pain. When we couldnt stand to see her suffer anymore, we called Stoney Pointe Pet Hospital to help us and they couldnt have been nicer to us and our pet. She slipped away quickly and peacefully with us petting her goodbye. The staff gives you privacy in your pets final moments. They offered an individualized cremation service which worked out well for us. This was our first time at this pet hospital and we highly recommend it.

The team will take great care of your pets. I have been there more than I would like to over the past year but they never hesitate to help even if you are calling at 8am telling them you are on your way in. They have late hours and are open on Saturdays. I wont be taking my little one anywhere else.

Our Rottie LOVED Dr Schumacher as did we. He was very knowledgeable and understood his breed better than the other 3 Vets we tried. It wasnt until we went to Stoney Pointe that I felt our dog had someone that got him! Unfortunately we had to say goodbye to our dog recently and I have had dogs put down before, but I have never felt compassion like we did when we put Rocky down. You could really feel the genuine care and concern for his well being from them. We will miss our dog greatly, but this office made us feel at peace with our decision and I truly know Rocky was surrounded by nothing but people who loved him in his final few days. HIGHLY RECOMMEND Dr. Schumacher to everyone!

Been a good consistent vet to count on. Our dog Oliver actually enjoys going to see many of his fans at Stoney Point and Dr. Rogers has always been a wealth of information and a very special, caring and concerned vet to work with.

Ive tried a few vet offices and found some are like hospitals where they just want to run tests without using their experience. Some dont seem to worry about whats best for your animal, just what works for their office. Stoney Pointe is neither!!!! They are absolutely amazing. Dr. Schumacher explained everything to us for our labradoodles torn CCL. He explained how it happens, what it means, and all the options available to us in detail. Our dog has always been scared going to the vet. Not anymore!! He loves it at Stoney Pointe! He DOESNT tuck his tail and uncontrollably shake there!! Im grateful to have the whole team at Stoney Pointe. Aragon says thank you!!

They were very professional and made the appointment as comfortable as possible. We had to ease our Kacee of her suffering. Very sad day.

I thought I had found the perfect place to board my cat. He has been boarded at this location numerous times. Unfortunately he was recently diagnosed with diabetes. I was informed that Stoney Pointe could no longer accommodate my cat because he needs insulin injections and was not a patient of the clinic. For a business that touts itself as providing full service boarding with professional vets onsite, I am surprised and disappointed by their unwillingness to board my cat due to his condition.

Dr. Rogers along with her Vet Techs and Staff are very caring and understanding individuals. I enjoy visiting with them when I have to pick up supplies for my kitty or when she is there for a visit! They are awesome!

Ive been taking pets here for over 20 years. Weve been through lost pets, died pets and pets Doc had to put down. We even had emergency surgery before the Henrietta pet EMS opened. Always professional, polite, concerned for your animals and very little wait time. I highly recommend.

AMAZING STAFF and vets... both Dr Rogers and Dr Schumacher are simply the best!!! I can call anytime and get an answer and an apt the same day if I need it... they truly love animals and both share such compassion and love!! They are real and I can’t imagine anyone else caring for my 3 pitty mixes like they do!!! Pittys have such a bad name and this office truly loves them and respects them! That says so much

The folks there are very nice. I have used them for three dogs. I recently switched vets and I do not want to say too much here except: Get a second opinion if theres something wrong with your pet and compare the price and more importantly the diagnosis.

I was referred to Stoney Pointe Vet Hospital by my stepson and I fell in love with the way the staff and the doctor took care of my baby. I took him on a Friday until today I am getting phone calls from the vet checking up on his wellbeing. at this point I am making Stoney Point Pet Hospital my babys primary vet. Literally came in here looking for help to save my kitten. They told me she was fine and that she was weak from not eating. My kitten was eating just fine until this day that I brought her in. And when i realized she wouldnt take any of the food that day and she was weak i raced her to the hospital. But they werent any help. They just told me to do the same thing Ive been doing to help the kitten eat. I just want you to know she was sick! And she needed medical attention. You turned me away saying she was fine and the very next day she died. I WILL NEVER BEING ANOTHER ANIMAL HERE EVER! Thanks for nothing. My poor baby was devastated.

Im very happy with the service Stoney Pointe gives my dog Scarlet. They find the problem and prescribe the solution. I also like that they are so near so I dont have to drive all over to get Scarlet to the vet.

Did an excellent job recently due to pandemic. Was concerned about not being able to communicate questions but Dr Rogers patiently and willingly listened and responded to all concerns through the phone. I felt extremely fully satisfied with Jetts annual visit.

It makes me have to stop and take note when all reviews are either 5 stars - or 1 star! I tend to believe the 1 star reviews more because 5 star reviews can all be faked. Its so hard to know what to believe anymore when the mighty dollar means more than the truth. Very rarely does anyone get so many 5 star reviews - and then 1 star reviews. Nothing in-between, except for mine.

Rick Schumaker is a greedy and borderline inept veterinarian. Ive known him for years and he has hurt more than helped my dogs. I trust an animals instincts and I had a Boxer named Rose that was the sweetest dog I have ever had but every time we went to Stoneypoint, they had to put a muzzle on her because she wanted to tear Schumakers backside off. She never displayed that behavior with anyone else EVER. With so many vet hospitals in the area I cant understand why anyone would go there.

I’ve been taking my fur babies to Stonypoint for a number of years now, they are the best as far as I am concerned. Dr. Rogers is very attentive to any of my concerns and loves my cats as much as I do.

I cant think of a thing they could do better. The way that they handled everything during my dogs visit during this pandemic was great. We all were protected without diminishing how friendly , professional , and outstanding their service always is.

We have been using the boarding for many years, not the vet services as they are too far for routine care. For boarding they have been great, the dog comes home healthy and no problems.

We have brought our other cats here and they have always given our animals great care. They are caring, patient and always willing to explain things and educate on a condition when needed. They calm even our most skittish pet.

The visit there was very nice the people were wonderful and I like the new vet that I had. They were very good to my pet in a now Im going to bring my other two pets to them from now on very clean cleaning facility

Took our 15yr old dog here because she was coughing and we were fearful it was heart failure. The vet checked her out and said it was bronchitis. He said she didnt have a heart murmur or anything like that. 6 hours later we are at the emergency vet. She has a heart murmur and in congestive heart failure. She has died litterally 6 hours after seeing this vet. How did this vet not KNOW she had a heart murmur. He said she didnt, but she did. And she had fluid around her heart. By the time we got her to the ER vet she had fluid on her lungs! NEVER AGAIN!!!

Ive only been to this facility two times. I found the staff & Dr. Schumacher to be very polite & genuine. At this time, I dont know of anything that would make my visits there any better, and if I ever do, I will be sure to let Stoney Pointe Pet Hospital know.

I have been suggesting to all my friends and family of the numerous bad experiences Ive had there. My dog was diagnosed with pollen alergies. I was giving him high doses of benadryl and predizone.I discovered on my own he had food allergies. I changed his food, grain free, and he has no more problems.I was sent his and my cat, who cancer, their medical records and told I wasnt welcomed back. Shunaker in unprofessional.there are more complaints I have, dealing with the death of another dog and a cat. Stay away.

Last week I brought my pup in for some for some shots, when then vet came in I noticed the slight smell of alcohol but I didnt think anything of it. They brought my dog into the other room and after quite some time I heard the vet ask for assistance.. Please explain how simple shots turns into Cardiac arrest and my poor pup passing away!!! He was perfectly fine!!! When the vet came back in it was definitely alcohol I smelled on her breath, her speech was slurred and they basically said sorry, charged me then kicked me out!!! These people Murdered my puppy!!!!

Stoney Pointe is great. They saw my sick cat 5 minutes after I called. She was very sick. She has now made a full recovery. Thank you!

I am very happy with the vet found the problems with my puppy eye and she is treated with a special eye drops and will be seen for a follow up, they are very caring and sweet in taking my furbaby, staffs are so caring and very helpful, we are treated so special with her.

Dr. Rogers is wonderful! She is kind, gentle & very knowledgeable! I know my puppies are in good hands with her!

There is completely new staff. I didnt realize this before I brought my 3 yo dog in for her well dog check up. She has been coming to Stoney Pointe since she was 8 weeks old. They took her from the exam room to the back . A person came in and said they were doing blood work. I said we dont do that because she not high risk. She said it was already done. I asked the cost and was told $65.They brought her to me and said that they had to muzzle her which has never been done before. They gave me the bill $285. She was given vaccines that werent needed and w,/o my permission. Not sure I will be going back. The declined to tell me price.

I have been my dog to Stony Pointe for the past 14 years. He has always received the best care and love when he goes. The staff is friendly and compassionate. During my last visit, my dog was sick and scared. They were able to get me in the same day to see him. The vet got right on the floor with him and calmed him right down. He hates the metal table. They quickly diagnosed his illness and he was prescribed medicine. He was feeling better by the next day. You can tell how much all the staff loves animals.

All 3 of my dogs are always seen on the day I call...if there is an issue going on with them! All the staff is amazing! Both vets, all vet techs and front desk staff!! I have dogs of all sizes...from a Yorkie Poo, Lhasa Apso/Pug mix and a Great Dane! They’ve had dental surgery to being spayed or neutered. I’ve boarded there many times and they’ve always been well taken care of.

We transferred my dog tupper to dr Rogers after he needed some specialized care following a trip to the e-vet almost 2 years ago. He is so much happier to go here than the other place we were going before. A little further of a ride but totally worth it. They have been so helpful with diagnosing his health problems and prescribing medicine & treatment that helps!

It is very difficult to get an appointment. Everything is blamed on COVID. It is time people go back to work and stop blaming COVID.
