Rich came over to our home to help with our puppy, Piper. She is a 7 month old Wiener dog, and was having major issues potty training. We would take her outside and then she would come inside and poop - it was almost purposeful! Rich came over for an hour and spent time with us and gave me tips to train her… she has not had an accident in the house since and it’s been almost a week. Rich is very knowledgeable and you can tell he deeply cares for animals. We can’t recommend him enough and feel like he’s a huge reason piper has officially become apart of our family.
I have a 8 month old daschund puppy who has bad separation anxiety. Unfortunately my boyfriend & I do have to go to work and it breaks out hearts to have to leave our little guy. He cries, licks, pants, barks, digs, etc. when we leave. My dad comes mid day to get him and puppy sit until we are out of work so he isnt locked in a crate all day long. He is not scared of the crate, just of being left alone, and for his safety we crate him while were gone.Desperate for help for my little guy, I reached out to Rich and I am so beyond glad I did! He did an at home visit, and spent time getting to know my pup, listening to what the issues are with him. Then he showed us what we needed to do to help him and gave us homework. So far it has only been one week since the visit and I can already see improvements with my boy.Rich is very personable, and professional. He assured me that this is a behavioral issue that can be worked with with time, consistency, and repetition. He eased my concerns and my mind about my pups issues and I plan to go to Rich with all and any more training my pup may need in the future.Thank you Rich for all your help!
We could not be overjoyed more. Our Marley sees me getting ready for work and is elated knowing he is going to day care. He can hardly contain himself. So adorable. When he comes home all cuddles and so relaxed. He enjoys every min. This we know. Staff is beyond wonderful.
Hey Caroline, Guess who loose leash walks now and looks to me for cheese when he sees other dogs at a tolerable distance?….. Harrison. No spray bottle or shock collar needed. It works!!!!Thanks to you and Rich for giving us the tools and showing us how to use them.Rich and Caroline are great coaches for dog owners, especially those with reactive and fearful ones. Fear and pain free coaching for our family members is the way to do it and a permanent solution. Thanks so much, Harrison is a much happier and easier going boy.
Rich and Caroline have been amazing since I adopted my rescue pitty. He has become so much less fearful and more social since we started training with them, and they use all positive reinforcement. Thats not easy to find around here!
We love Carol and Rich at Wags to Riches. They worked with us with our reactive dog and now we’re in the basic obedience class with our new puppy. The way they explain how to train and work with your dogs makes so much sense. Little things matter while training and they bring up things we would have never thought to think about. They use only positive rewards and it really works. My dog picks up new commands so quickly with them, and when he doesn’t they show us how to break the task down so our dog is always successful and doesnt get frustrated. Rich and Carol are so welcoming and helpful, I recommend them to all my friends with pups looking for training or daycare.
Rich and Carol were awesome with our recently adopted puppy mill basset. Our basset gradually became fearful of people, so we engaged the expertise of Rich and Carol. Rich explained the why behind his behavior, and how to help Gunner adjust to a permanent home and people who would not harm him. We also learned that Rich and Carol do not believe in the punishment approach which was compatible with our philosophy. It takes time and patience, and were finally realizing an improvement. There is NO question that we had the best behaviorist to help us and our Gunner. If we could score Wags to Richs, it would be 5+++.
Highly recommend!! We took the reactive dog training with Rich and Carol and it was super helpful! They took the time to work with us and our pup making sure he was correctly learning each skill. So grateful for the time they spent with us. We saw a ton of improvement in our pup over the 6 weeks. Would recommend this training to anyone!
Great place to keep your dogs to expend their energy and for them to make some buddies . Cant hold the dog back when she gets there ,gets so excited like others there to see her friends . Staff knows every dog and their needs and watches them. During training staff helps you with correct behavior and training so no bad habits dont develop . All in all glad we have a good place to daycare our puppy .
I would highly recommend Wags to Rich’s for a reactive/fearful dog. I have a 2 year old Portuguese water dog who became fearful/reactive to dogs, bikes, cars, and runners. He was very timid of new situation and things. I was trying everything and did research on how to best help him over come these fears. This facility came highly recommended and I drove over 50 minutes to take my dog. I never thought I would get him to a point where he could look at others dog and refocus on me without reacting, especially in such a close distance. He has made great strides in these last 6 weeks all with positive reinforcement. I can’t recommend this place enough. 1000000% worth it. I finally feel less anxious because I know I can help him navigate situations he is unsure of. Myself and him can enjoy walking. I will be back for their obedience class as well. I can’t thank them enough 🙏🏻Ps. Your dog will be addicted to cheese puffs after this class. So stock up.
The entire staff is outstanding! They are so kind, knowledgeable and patient! They helped our pup and explained his behaviors, showed us how to work with him, build his confidence and practice at home. I highly recommend them!
The team at wags to rich’s is beyond amazing! Everybody is super thoughtful and caring, and truly wants the best for you and your pet! I would absolutely come back! Rich, Carol and Taylor are awesome!!
We love Wags To Richs! The owner and staff are the absolute best. They treat all of the dogs as if they were their own and make sure they are all happy and safe.
My shelter rescue pup was so reactive he couldn’t even see other people much less dogs without going nuts. After taking reactive training classes with Rich and Carol he was able to go to obedience class with other dogs. Their training techniques work wonders I can’t recommend them enough
Rich and Carol are amazing at what they do. In my time volunteering in animal rescue, I have seen them take several dogs from being labeled reactive, fearful and unadoptable and bring them to being loved, happy and healthy family pets. They truly care about the dogs they work with. Nothing short of miracle workers!
Just finished the obedience class and my 5 month old puppy is so much better behaved and now I have to tools and knowledge to continue training him. Already signed up for the next class to learn and train more! Amazing quality for the price!
Rich and Carol are very patient and understand dogs body language and needs. They helped me with both of my reactive rescue dogs who are now living their best life. I know that I couldn’t have done it without them!

Awesome group, they are dog people and care about your family members like you do. Never have any worries or concerns when I drop my dog off for the day.
The best for reactive or fearful dogs. As a rescue they are our go to for any training issues. We cant thank Rich & Caroline enough for all their knowledge and help.
Brought our fearful Aussie to Rich and Carol and have seen a vast improvement through the class. I’d recommend them to anyone. I look forward to taking my dog to future classes with them.
We did a training class with our reactive pitty a couple years ago and WOW! The education Rich provided us with has made training so much easier. Couldnt be happier!

I’ve been calling since Thursday and nothing. No answer, no call back, nothing. Pretty sure this is a scam. I should’ve known better than to waste my time
My dog KONG loves this DAYCARE. The owners really care about the dogs.
We highly recommend Wags to Richs Dog Daycare and Training! We have seen so many improvements with our golden retriever since we enrolled him in their daycare as well as their Reactive/Fearful class. My husband and I have learned so much from Rich, Carol and Taylor. They have helped change our life with our sweet Maverick! They are by far the best!
The owner and workers are very caring and patient with our Dogs. We just had two sessions and my dog has responded to training techniques. There is still more work to be done but I really like how they are caring and very humane when it comes to training. No electric shocks. Just all natural voice and clicker command.
I love this place!!!!! Our puppy has been going for about 3 months and loves it. The place is so clean and the people that work there care about your pups. Thanks for caring about our beautiful husky!
