Care A Lot Pet Grooming

First time I have ever used this groomer after not being able to reach Scooters previous groomer. Friendly awesome staff and when I picked him up he absolutely smelled so fresh clean and amazing. I actually have never in the 20 years of owning dogs picked up my dog from the groomers and had him smell so good I will be using them for all future grooming

They did a great job grooming my Australian Shepherd whose coat was in terrible condition for a great price. Her bottom and behind her ears were matted. I was so worried that they would just shave her and she would look horrible. I have two aussies and since the breed has a double coat I’ve always been worried someone would improperly groom them, so I’ve never used a groomer before. They did a fantastic job and exceeded my expectations. I will be bringing my other Aussie to them as well. Chelsea was her groomer!

Alicia, the owner, is very experienced. Our pup isnt the easiest when it comes to grooming. Shes able to groom him without being rough or harsh. (We wouldnt go there if she was.) I feel at ease with her taking care with our little guy. Also, her prices are very reasonable.

Alicia did a great job. She was able to get me in after a few days, when other groomers were taking months for an appointment. My cat hates to be brushed, but Alicia was able to get her clipped with no problems in about 15 minutes. I would recommend her for anyone who needs to get their pet groomed. Thanks Alicia!

Quick, affordable, and gentle. Tao does not like being brushed, so I’ve been bringing him to the ladies at Care a Lot for haircuts for almost a year. Each time I am amazed at their skill and speed. Cats are notoriously difficult to groom, and they make it look easy! I will keep coming her and recommending them to friends/family.

They are wonderful here! I tried all the pet stores for a simple nail trimming for my kitten and everywhere was a 2-3 week wait AND 50+ dollars which is fine but I walked into this place and 8$ for nail trim! What and I was there under 10 min! The lady was great and so kind! Also bought my kitty a matching bandana to my favorite sports jersey! definitely recommend! All that for 20$ (with 5$ being tip) I will definitely be taking Bootsy back there! Plus I think it’s more locally owned so I’d honestly rather take him there than a chain pet store! I am absolutely 💯 thrilled with the puppy cut my 5 year old morkie, Fozzie, was given here. All the professionals that work there are awesome! They are animal lovers and are running a very good establishment at Care A Lot. They treat animals well and dont stick the already anxious dog in a cage for hours and get your pet in and out. They do this all in a very professional manner. They were our babies first groomers, and we had tried others and feel bad for some of the unprofessional groomers we had the unfortunate experience of meeting. (I will leave that there)we are back at Care A Lot and we will be forever customers. This is by Far one of the best groomers we have been too for our Cavipoo and mastiff lab mix ! If there was a sixth star it would be for sure!

I could not recommend them highly enough. My dog really needed her nails done and I didnt want her to be taken in the back and have bad experience. Her nails were cut quickly as I held her and everything went so smoothly. Everyone was beyond nice and loved on my girlie. We were in and out in 10 minutes without any appointment and it was $1 a paw!

My son and daughter brought our long haired cat to be groomed. She had some mats that she wouldnt allow us to take out. My son said the groomer was very quick, professional. New exactly what she was doing. She new exactly how to handle our cat since it took three of us to get her in the carrier. The groomet took her out and put her back in with ease all by herself. She buzzed Cutie down in no time. Price was very reasonable. Highly recommend!

The groomer is quick and professional. My cat has a bit of aniexty so he was acting crazy, but she managed to cut his nails and fur from his bottom. Charged $15😍 Very affordable. Only problem was she seemed to be in a hurry even though I was called to come in earlier than scheduled. ANYWAYS, highly recommend...especially cause she allowed me to enter the grooming space to calm my cat. I appreciate that.

Based on the recommendation of our neighbor, we started taking our dogs here a couple years ago. It is always easy to get an appointment, with weekend and night slots, and we often choose to get the dogs nails cut as a walk-in...$5 per dog. Really reasonable pricing and all the groomers are equally talented. I have on more than one occasion heard them be honest and upfront in regards to higher prices based on the complex needs of certain dogs costs/hair and the owners remarked that they were cheaper than anywhere else. Most of all, they always seem to care for our dogs and they are always done by the time they tell us to pick up.

We have taken our dogs here for quite sometime now. They always do a great job. You can show up without an appointment if you just need nails clipped which is nice. They are very affordable and very professional. The only complaint would be, it would be much more convenient if they accepted credit/debit cards, however I would still recommend them to anyone that needs a groomer.

They always do a great job on my dogs Max and Chanel. They come out of there looking like brand new pups. Today Chanel has a 5:00 appointment and Im looking forward to bringing her home and letting her be free of her fuzziness. LOL I had to skip her last grooming appointment due to finances but were back in action and Ill add a photo later so everyone can see how beautiful she will look. You cant beat their prices either. Theyre the best in town that Ive found. So if youre looking for a pet groomer this is the place to go.

My German Shepherd recently had some issues with his paws and some of his nails. Some were cracked and irritated to the point I considered bringing him to the vet. I brought him to Care-A-Lot instead and I could not be happier with the results! I walked in and they took care of him immediately. The entire staff was patient and very gentle with him, seeing as he was in some discomfort and very anxious in a new environment. Very reliable, very convenient, very reasonably priced. My mom and cousin also bring their dogs here for grooming and they just gained a new customer. Thank you all so much!!

Its very difficult to find a decent, let alone trustworthy groomer for cats. But this one did a fantastic job with our cat Jax (very fluffy, white Persian and the goodest boy). He had some snaggly hair coming and they treated him with respect and kindness. He kinda looks like a mini poodle now but he seems very happy after all, and so are we. Thank you! 😁

Care-A-Lot is AMAZING. Im in dog rescue with GRASP. Last Saturday I picked up a standard poodle who was being surrendered to us. The dog was so matted everywhere I knew she must have been in pain. I called as well as drove to several groomers to see (beg) if they could groom her for me immediately. Care-A-Lot told me to bring her to them immediately. They had her groomed in about an hour and didnt charge me because they dont charge for rescue dogs. Stella looked and Im sure felt amazing and she was ready to go to her foster home. I cant recommend them enough!

Best service for an old cat Ive ever had!! My cat was so old and had so many mats on him. She had his shaved down and feeling so much better in like 10 mins flat. And before you coment. This was my sisters cat in watching for her. Till she finds another place to live.

Alicia did a great job cutting my long haired cat Haley today! She had a patch of matted fur on her back that she brushed off in seconds. My cat doesnt like to be brushed and today was her first time getting her nails trimmed & hair cut. I threw on some gloves and helped hold her. We were done in about 15 minutes and Haley left with an awesome lion hair cut. I definitely recommend this place. Thank you again Alicia!

I took my baby Max here and he hadnt been groomed in 2 yrs due to circumstances beyond my control. His tail was so matted it wouldnt wag. His ears were in bad shape as well. When I picked him up he looked like a completely different 🐕 I am so pleased with what they did and would recommend them to anyone interested in getting their dog groomed. We absolutely adore the staff here. We take our 10m old corgi here for doggy day camp. We love that the staff knows all the dogs by name and personality. They are an awesome local small business!

I get my pom and Maltese groom there. they are so high strong i can not even try to groom them both. Care a lot is great with my dogs and they come so cute. I get tons of compliments. I took my cat to Care A Lot last week for a nail trim and “butt shave” and WILL NEVER go back with any animal. The owner is the one who did the service. She was rough with my cat, pulling her hair, throwing her around the table, etc. it was really bad. I was in shock they would treat animals this way but should have said something. She shoved my cat back in the carrier head first, I thought she was gonna break my cats neck!!!! Needless to say, My once docile cat had enough, got defensive and started to hiss, spit, and bite. She never did that with anyone else before. Very, very bad place…..will never go back and WILL NEVER recommend them to anyone else either.

Love the c prices, love the girls that cut my pom she chimes out so pretty and Soft. They do b amazing job. I wouldnt go anywhere else! They know how i like my pom to be, they afford friendly nice caring and sweet.

I just recently started taking my dog to this establishment. I have nothing but great things to say. They do a great job with my doggie, who has very high anxiety. I am thankful for Care A Lot, they were highly recommended by a friend.

Its hard to find someone willing to shave and bathe a cat today, most places I called want to charge me an arm and a leg due to the hazards of the job. Also, a lot of groomers want you to drop your pet off & pick them back up later which I would never want to do with my cat. At Care-A-Lot with my cat Fuzzy, I am allowed to come into the back to comfort & help hold Fuzzy during the shaving/washing process. Usually the whole event takes around 20 minutes, thats roughly the time to change the oil change for a vehicle. Alicia has been my cat Fuzzys groomer for 9 years now.

Good value but its not for everybody. This is no luxury spa-like atmosphere. The woman who grooms my cat works very quickly to minimize the stress. She doesnt coddle, but Im fine with it.

I take my dogs here whenever they need a wash or any kind of grooming. Care A Lot has top notch service and excellent prices. You wont find a better pet grooming experience in all of upstate NY!

This is the second time I have used this groomer. Despite my dog breaking out of his crate and causing considerable chaos, Victoria from Care A Lot professionally took care of the situation and when I got the Dog back, he was the cleanest hes ever been. She was great about his bad behavior and laughed about it the entire time she was telling me what happened. Needless to say, Ill be going back.

I think I was only there for 5 minutes, and the speed that she cut my cats hair was impressive. My cat didnt even have time to react, and he usually scratches and bites me if I just comb him. Was impressed and the service is great!

I have a very old poodle and he has old age warts all over his body. Care alot have always been very careful not to cut any of them. They do a good job on my baby boy. I trust them. Very nice and friendly also.Thank you Care Alot, Beverly and Beau Beau

Ive got a pomeranian whose undercoat needed some serious lovin... He came home super adorable and its growing in beautifully.. The women here are sweethearts and super efficient with the turnaround... Their prices cant be beat!! 100% recommending to everyone I know.

I have been going to care a lot pet grooming for almost 4 years and the ladies there are so friendly and they treat my fur babies as if they were their own. I love the way they care for my babies I have no complaints.

Very good, nice people, made me very happy with 3 different breeds one large one medium and one small. Also reasonable. Just a wonderful place to bring any size breed for a cut and wash.

Called to schedule an apt, a kid answered was very adult about taking a message but before wrote down my number got yelled at by a woman to get off the phone and I got hung up on. So unprofessional, an adult thing to do would be to pick up the phone after the kid not slam hang up

Cultural/racial sensitivity training is needed! The groomer had the audacity to describe the dogs hair as nappy. I will never set foot in there again.

My cat has some mats on her back that the vet couldn’t even get all of them off. I couldn’t find any place to bring her until I saw their website. The groomer made my cat and I feel calm, it was a fast process and she looks beautiful.
