Spots Dog Grooming

I was nervous about getting my dog groomed, but Brianna did a fantastic job. We came to pick him up and he was happy as a clam playing ball with her. She managed to get all of his nails, and trimmed him up beautifully. We will absolutely be a regular client of hers!

Super great job. Makayla is the best. You gotta follow the good ones who know your pets.

I absolutely love spots grooming. My groomer Mary is always so nice and treats my dog like a princess. She does the absolute best work on her nails with the dremel when all other places would torture my dog with the clippers. My dog barely fights and doesnt cry which never happened with the clippers. Every time I get her a bath she looks, feels and smells incredible! Shes always so excited too when she gets home from getting her bath. Everyone here is kind, professional, knowledgeable and friendly! I would highly recommend this groomer in general and my groomer Mary in particular, but Im sure anyone who handled your pet here would provide excellent service! Im so glad I found this place and will remain a customer for all of my doggies! (None of these photos were taken at spots, I just wanted to show off my baby and now great they make her look!)

My brother took his Labradoodle here and they did a great job. She came out smelling so good. They said 2 hours, but got done sooner than that. The staff was friendly. Price was reasonable. Cheryl was the one who did the work and she was awesome! They even gave my niece (pup) a cute bandana to go with the cut. =)

Brittany is the best. Shes super sweet and professional. Shes did an amazing job grooming our London, doing exactly what I asked for according to pics I showed. After several groomers in the past always doing what they wanted despite my request. We finally found a groomer that will stick with.

After my girls first two grooming appointments somewhere else, I reached out to Mary, and have been going to her ever since. She ALWAYS does an amazing job, and is very neat with her cuts. I don’t plan on going anywhere else as long as she’s there at Spots.

This is the first time to take my cute 5 month old puppy to get groomed and I can actually say that this will be the place to take my baby to. Brittany did an amazing job overall. Took about 3 hrs to do but was totally worth it. Price is very reasonable. The ppl who work there are wonderful and friendly as well. Very well cleaned and organized. Thank you so much for everything. Greatly appreciated.

A little before and after. Cheryl is ABSOLUTELY AMAZING. I have never had a better groomer (especially with the undercoat). So professional, caring, and reasonably priced! I would recommend her 100%.

Constance is fantastic. She is thorough and knowledgeable. Every time she consults with me, she makes sure she knows exactly what I want. She explains any health concerns about my dog and her artistic choices, which I always agree with. She is great at detail work (poodles). Constance is a special person, always looking to improve her craft. Wonderful!

Hi! My name is Brody Bacon and I love LOVE going to Spots for my mani/pedi and general grooming. I tend to be a pain-in-the-butt when my mom tries to clip my nails BUT when I got visit Brittany at Spots its a whole different experience. My mom teases me that Brittany is my girlfriend because I get SO excited when I see her, sometimes I pee a little. Its ok, I think she takes it as a compliment. Jerrica is seriously the best ever!! My dog Annie has been seeing her for the past 5 years and she looks gorgeous every single time. Also Annie is almost 17 and has quite the attitude, I know I can always count on Jerrica to have the patience to deal with her shenanigans. ❤️❤️

Our dog was never groomed before at first a newbie tryed and madevthe mistake of just starting and not geting to know him, that is when tamara steped in she schedule him for another day when there was no other dogs that he could fearck out over and we were aloud to assist her in bathing him and trimming some of his coat. He was much more relaxed the second time around.

Had Emma for my dogs nail trim. First time there, and I will be going back! My dog and I both loved Emma!

I cannot say enough good things about Spots Grooming. The salon is welcoming, clean, and spacious. My pup sees Cheryl and she is absolutely AMAZING! One of the great parts aside from the cut is that when his grooming is over he doesn’t sit in a cage until I come, she will call and give me about 15 minutes until he is finished (which is how long it would take me to get there). You can tell that Cheryl loves what she does and the animals she works with. I would highly recommend this salon and specifically Cheryl to anyone in the area looking for a groomer for their pup!

Our dog has terrible anxiety with grooming and personal space. Barb took her time getting to personally know our dog. She was so patient with her and so willing to take on a challenge. Spots Dog grooming was such a welcoming facility. I would HIGHLY recommend this grooming facility to anyone looking!

I just picked my Afghan Hounds up from Spots Dog Grooming, and once again, I couldn’t be more pleased with the way they look. Tamrah Cohen is hands down the best groomer I have ever found. She was referred by a friend who also has an Afghan Hound, and when I saw his dog I immediately asked for the name of his groomer. Tamrah is professional, friendly, and fun, and my girls, Lucy & Ethel, not only look fabulous after their appointments, but they also adore her! What else could we ask for? ThanksTamrah!🐾💕🐾

Barb was amazing with our almost 19yr old cockapoo! Everyone was so patient and supportive in helping groom a pup with major arthritis and mobility issues. The staff was welcoming and professional. What a great place!

I brought my Beagle, Penelope in recently for a basic groom- bath, nails, ears. It was her first groomers appointment. The staff was patient with her and kind. They did a great job and the price was amazing! I will be bringing her back!

Took my 1 year old Border Collie/Great Pyrenees to get his first grooming. His coat was all matted and full of knots and we had tried everything to remove them. Drove from Caledonia, bit of a ride but well worth it. Barb worked on Murray and not only got all the knots and mats out without shaving him, she also showed me how to help keep them away. She did an amazing job, he looks so good now. It is a great place with a friendly staff. Thank you for making my Murray look great.

Brittney does a great job and is very gentle with my senior pug. He was in a mood when I brought him in for a nail trim & she was able to get the job done without hurting him or forcing him into positions that didnt work for him.

The best groomers in Monroe County and Barb is the kindest most patient groomer ever. The only place I will bring my Service Dog and Barb does an awesome job is kind and patient with my Service Dog as a person can be. These are groomers you can really trust and I camca recommend. them highly enough .The truth is if you go there once you will never go anywhere else again. Thank you Barb. Your the best!!!!!! Steven

Did a great job with the full service for my Toy Yorkie Poodle Mix. He smelled so good and his nails were trimmed. Other places would do a full service and say they cut his nails and they did not. I was pleased with the service. I just wish shed give me more detail on his behavior because I know hes a bit of a brat at times. Ill trust her judgment for now and will be booking again for sure. I highly recommend Chelsea. She did a fabulous job with my chow. He has a thick coat and had a few knots. She definitely worked her magic in making sure that the knots were out, he was well trimmed, and followed my request as far as how I wanted him to look. I am very picky on who takes care of my dog and she exceeded my expectations. Thank you Chelsea!!! See you in a few months.

My doggy has been going there since she was a baby. The groomer is amazing.She has a lot of patience with the dogs and treat them with love. The groomer work very slow with doggies to make them comfortable with the process and show much love to them. My puppy is always looking sharp,love her groomer,and she is relax coming home.

I called all over to find someone willing to do a Lion Shave on one of my cats who is elderly and does not groom himself. I was referred to Rach by a mutual friend and i am so thankful! Rach was amazing, my old man loved her. She was so kind and gentle with him. The atmosphere was amazing in there. I recommend them to anyone !

Mary takes great care of our little guy Dash! He is a maltese and prone to matting. We do our best to brush him out etc. but under his armpits he can still get matted and our previous groomer would cut corners around this issue i.e shaved him completely down. Mary takes great care of him to where we dont have to worry about this and Dash always comes home dashing and happy! :) She is knowledgeable and takes her time to groom your pup as requested, quality work!

Great place. They love their furry clients. I am a big Kate fan! My pups always look their best when they are done being pampered. But make your appointment in advance as they are popular.

Love this place very open so there is nothing to hide! We have been using Mary for a while and she is amazing to work with. Best part is your dog wont sit in a cage for hours before they call to say he/she is done, I hated that going to other groomers.

I brought my 5 month old puppy for his first grooming. His hair was so long that it was impossible to walk him without having to bathe him afterwards. He was a wet mess when I brought him in because I had to walk him just before I left. Kate expressed concern about using the clippers on his first visit, but was able to give him the full puppy cut, just the way I wanted it. Not only did she do an excellent job, but he smelled great!

Took my pup, Benny, to Cece and was nervous - he can be pretty timid in new environments. She made me feel so comfortable and he looks great!! Highly recommend!

Brittany is always very good with my dog Kato. Kato is always nervous going to Spots, but he lets Brittany give him a bath and dry him.

Barb is absolutely the best groomer in Rochdster and she owns Spots Dog Grooming on Eeadt Ridge Rd in Irondequoit. You wont find a better more experienced groomer anywhere in Rochester. Ive been to several Dog groomers and no place can compare with Spots. Its simply the BEST !!!!

I brought MaxaMillion to Rachael for a full grooming. He is my adopted 4yo rough coat Saint Bernard.Max was a hot mess and had already dissuaded 3 other groomers and a vet with his size, drama and sheer stubbornness.I explained all to Rachael and sure enough she was up for the challenge!!Mission accomplished!Rachael completly understood that adopting a large floof, who probably hadnt been professionally groomed, might use every trick he knew to keep his overgrown grinch feet, slobber stained bib and his beloved ever shedding undercoat.Certainly, Rachael is a patient and tenacious professional.MaxaMillion looks spectacular and smells amazing. We will be back in 2 weeks for another toenail trim. She is our groomer for as long as she will have us.Kudos to you, Rachael. You are a blessing. 🥰

First time going. The staff was very friendly and patient with my dog Milo. They did a wonderful job. Milo was very nervous and his hair was very long they work their magic I was very pleased thank you Tammi & Batb 💝💝

Spike went to stephanie and she did a great job. Spike can be very grumpy and doesnt like just anyone touching him. He had a bad experience with the last groomer he went to at petsmart. I will be bringing him and my other dog to her from now on. 🐕😀😊

Our 9 year old Shih-Poo looks AMAZING every time we pick him up from Spots 😁 His Hammond sheen we pick him up reassures Mr that hes well taken care of while hes there. Pricing is VERY reasonable compared to other places and the customer service is phenomenal!

I have been bringing my two dogs to jerrica for 6 years. Not only is extremely talented she genuinely cares about each and everyone of her doggy clients!! I wouldn’t take my dogs to anyone els!!!

We have been going to spots for years and highly recommend Tamrah. She is so patient and easy with our 11 year old poodle (who is mean sometimes..) and our 6 year old husky (who is super hyper). They come home so happy and smelling so good! Tamrah is also super accommodating when trying to get them both in! And she’s really nice, if I didn’t have errands to run, I’d stay and hang! (And have before!)

Facility is always clean, appropriate sized spaces for each groomer. Cheryl is the best and you can tell she lives what she does.
